This thread is to post negative mini-rants (whether they are serious, joking, significant or trivial) but to then add some positive rant aspect of the situation. Hence the silver lining to your cloud.
Here goes:
I have a headache, but at least I had painkillers at work I could take.

Entering my third day of migraines, but at least they seem to have weakened enough to be treatable with normal painkillers.
Also at my moms place, but at least she's got so much to do for a while that she can't go into full drunk-mode.
And finally, my brother got me this really hideous "Hear-no-evil" monkey statuette as a gag gift from Gran Canaria, but at least he promised he'd get the rest of them for me the next time he goes there so I won't have to be annoyed by the fact that my collection is incomplete :D
