Title: IMVU Outfit Contest

Okay. So, I don't know anyone that's been entering IMVU's daily outfit contest things, so I thought I'd ask my question here just to see...

I entered the daily outfit contest for the first time yesterday (the Victorian theme... thought it would be fun to give it a go), got my outfit all ready and everything and submitted it. IMVU then said "your outfit has been submitted [blah blah blah] and will appear publicly in five minutes." Yet... my entry never showed up. For a while I thought maybe IMVU just wouldn't let you see your own in there so it wouldn't affect your voting choices, but now I'm skeptical, to say the least. Even though it doesn't matter if I won or not, I still feel cheated out of my chance.

I was just wondering if anyone around here has tried to enter but had something similar happen, or if anyone knows if this is supposed to happen that way or not.

well I entered the "star Wars" themed outfit challenge...but my outfit showed up and I voted on my own outfit...so either it was a glitch in the system...or it was just hard to find your entry...(it took me awhile to find my entry)

I looked on every page. Besides, you're supposed to start off in first place or something. At least, that's what the page said after I entered.

It just figures that the one time I feel like entering, IMVU screws it up...

Yea you're "supposed" to start in first...but either i was and like thousands of people just happened to vote all at once and i got shuffled back to like 200th OR you start last...

Also...when you vote...aren't you supposed to get a sticker of some sort?

Not every time.
They, IMVU, gives you one (http://userimages01.imvu.com/productdata/stickers_9322997001df5f9e38e47e4d566b3070.gif) after you've voted.How many times you need to vote to trigger it to get it I don't know.
Not too much. I'm not sure if you get one any more or not though.

I've voted a lot and have never gotten one of those to my knowledge.  ???

Not that I even really need it. It would probably just end up collecting digital dust in my sticker panel.
