Right, I thought it was about time that I started my own RP, something I've never done before in my short time on the forums.
This RP is set in the future, shortly after a war between furres and humans has ended, the reason being that another war has begun, against earth and another world. Humans and furres have united to fight against these 'alien' lifeforms. But, there are still some furres who do not want anything to do with these humans, and rebel against them.
In short - you can be a fighter or a rebel.
I have no idea where this is going, which doesn't help, but I'm sure the fantastic RP-ers on the forums will be able to help.
A few quick rules
Please do not type in text speak - it makes it difficult to read. Write in full sentences.
Don't leave people behind. I hate living in different time zones, because I often get left behind in RPs, and end up not part of them. If someone has been interacting with you, don't just move on without them.
Write in past tense, and don't use quick text such as 'attacks human'
Finally, special powers are permitted, but not healing or ressurection
To start, simply state you name, species and whether you're a fighter or a rebel. You can describe yourself as the RP goes on.
Name: Buiolupo
Species: Dark wolf (my name is italian for it)
Rebel
I crouched through the dark forest, my only source of light a full moon rising above my head. I bared my trazor sharp teeth, and sneaked up on a soldier, standing on guard, my black fur disguising me in the night.
It took only a coulple of seconds for me to jump up, take one single claw and draw it across his neck. No sounds and no fuss. I looked down on him and breathed a sigh of relief. It was a human. Many a fur had been taken - the dark disguising their identities. I spat on the body, which was bleeding badly. I dragged it by the leg, and buried it by a nearby tree.
I climbed up the tree, and surveyed what I saw in front. The battle field had long been emptied - only a few soldiers remained for security - even less now. I knew I would have to move on.
I spread my wings, usually concealed by my thick fur. The metalic shine of the claws dotted on the edges glinted in the moonlight, as I jumped out of the tree and flew. The night air ruffled in my fur, and I growled, but happily. I enjoyed the freedom.

((Interesting. I'll give it a shot. Just a question; can we use more than one character? Don't worry, I won't use every character in my sig. =P))
Name: Fyroh Ilqe Gahn
Species: Grey Wolf
Fighter
Fyroh lay in a small patch of grass, right beside the forest, injured. He hated himself for this. He'd only dragged himself into this war for money; not for his own greed, yet for his brother... his human brother. He'd caught a strange sickness, and the cure was costly. He also did it for honour; the one opportunity to show that he can be strong, and help his world. But none of it mattered now, as his leg had been shot; it was far too dark to see if it was lethal or just a wound, but he knew it hurt. He owed his life to his comrades who'd fought off the ones that shot him... his human comrades. Luckily, he hadn't been finished off... but it may have been better if he had.
He looked up, and saw a shape pass by the moon. Was it an enemy? Or was it a helping hand? He didn't know; but he didn't want to stay in sight. He tried dragging himself away; he could move his leg but it was painful. He attempted standing up; he found he could, just with difficulty. His eyes were fixed on the flying shape he could just make out. Pulling a handgun from his belt, he readied it, in case it was hostile.

{this looks fun}
Name:Saphir
Species: White wolf
Fighter
Saphir lay on a rock not far from fyroh. She watched him curously. The shadow he was talking about seemd friendly to her. She laughed loudly an got ot her feet. Her purple eyes glittered in the moonlight, her white coat gleamed brightly. "Hey. Whatcha lookin at?"
-
He turned quickly; but accepted her as an ally. "Oh. Just... that. It's disturbing. I'm not sure if it's furry or an alien... for all I know, it could be on our side, or it could be a rebel..." He lowered his gun slightly. "Oh, and remind me I need bulletproof trousers." he said, motioning to his leg.
-
She giggled and held up a pair. "Want these?" She laughed even harder and took off her vest. "I don't need it." Sh blushed slightly but hid it. "I think it's trying to tell you something. Watch the way it flies and tell me what you think."
-
((I'm talking about Buiolupo / Tasha with the shadow.))
Fyroh didn't understand. "Don't give me that riddle ****." he muttered. "It's something, and it's flying, thats all I know." He looked at her, confused. "Are you sure you don't need them? I mean, we're on a freaking battlefield. Besides, I'll just get a pair next time I can." He picked up his binoculars, which were hanging from his neck, and tried to get a better view of the flying thing.
-
She giggled and shook her head. "I haven't been hit yet. With or without it. You can have them. I rather enjoy running fre of weight.." She giggled again.

name:Tribane
species:silver wolf
rebel
swings from tree above the two, "oh man, here comes trouble..." stops swinging and flips up onto tree, hiding behind it
-
Her sensative ears picked up the ound of movement, Saphir slipped into a crouch and scurried up the tree next to her, yanking the rebel off and climing nimbly back down with her prize. She threw him to theground disgustedly and spat at him. "What the H**l are you oing? Spying on me?"
-
He reluctantly took them, then span around, hearing something in the trees. "Who's there?!" he ordered, but it was pointless, as Saphir already had him. He aimed the gun at his head. "Who are you, and what do you want?!" he barked, recognising that they were a rebel; they weren't wearing uniform.
-
"........" gets up and looks up at them, seeing their uniforms and knowing that he was too young to fight,
"so...ur gonna shoot meh,huh?heh...theres just TONS more of meh
kind so killing meh will just be pointless......" i said, wiping off shoulder
-
Fyroh grabbed Tribane and threw him to the ground, keeping the gun against his head. "Don't move." he muttered. "There may be many more of you, but..." He felt bad, threatening a furry like this, but snapped out of it; he had to remember... "What should we do?" he asked Saphir.
-
Snarling Saphir grabbed him by the collor and yanked him off his feet. "Want to repeat that, sonny boy?" Baring her fangs she bites his neck, drawing blood and licking it up calmly. "Better keep that tongue of yours in line ifyou know what's good for a msall little thing like you." She whispered in his ear, still keeping him above the ground so he couldn't scamper off anywhere.
-
"*yelp*......ugh...get off meh!and fine.....THERE.....ARE.....TONS.....MORE....OF....MEH....KIND......." looks at her seriouslie
-
"We know that. But there's even more of us. And we're better equipped. You rebels had better watch your step." he hissed to the boy, before smacking him in the face.
-
Saphir looked into the boys eyes and shook him softly, tiredly. "Where are you from kid? You shouldn't even be in this. I'm probaly the only fifteen year old in this because there's no way else to go. Get out of here before i have to hurt you."
-
yelps a little louder, feeling the pain and sting, "........" walks off into forest, sobbing
-
She shook her head and leaned on fyroh tiredly. "I'm beat. I need to rest.."
-
walks into forest and builds a little tent not too far from them so when
he needs food he wont have to hunt as often
-
Fyroh sighed. "Yeah... we should get back to camp soon, but I'm worried about the flying thing..." he said, motioning towards it again."
-
makes a small fire,not to attract anie attention,and warms self, "it's g-g-getting-g-g c-cold......"
-
Saphir nodded, drifting into a restless sleep, "Yea..."
-
Fyroh slipped his arm behind her back and under her arm, supporting her as they made their way back to camp. He paused. "I'll take you back, but then I'm coming back here. I need to know about the shadow thing..." He picked her up, carrying her in his arms like a gentleman, until they got to camp. "You know where I am." he whispered, and made his way back.
Once he was there, he sat, and continued to stare at the flying creature. He felt somewhat threatened, but didn't draw a weapon.
-
She mumbled in her sleep, "NO!!"
-
goes into tent and falls asleep........while sleeping has a nightmare and yells, then flashes up,
"oh DANG!!" i said to mehself, "i hope they didnt hear meh...."

Name: Shana
Species: Arctic/Silver Wolf
Fighter
She stumbled through the forest, trying to keep quiet but she was so tired from fighting that she could barely stand. She could see a clearing ahead of her and, from what she could make out, it looked like another battlefield. She felt like she was moving in slow motion as she approached the clearing, her legs felt like jello and her knees were trembling. Almost...there... She thought to herself, taking another step. She thought she could make it but with that one extra step, she fell to her knees on the ground.
-
THE NEXT MORNING
"man...wat an eventful day it was...." takes off shirt and observes cuts and briused from battle,
"man...i got beat up terribley....wait i think....." walks off towards the soldiers camp,
"i wonder if they have anie ointment...." goes from a walk,to a jog,to a sprint, and jets off into the forest,
looking for the camp...
MINUTES LATER
after arriving the soldiers camp,he spots the male soldier, and goes back in the foliage, "oh man, this is gonna be hopeless....."

Name: Nyx
Species: Dark Dragoness
Status: Rebel
Nyx crouched in the canopy of the trees, watching for any enemies. She could not believe that the humans who had tortured her for so long was now asking for her help to fight against another kind. Her wings shifted uneasily as she stealthily made her way through the tree tops. Her cybernetic left arm began to throw off a few sparks as she found herself above two wolves. Her arm was going to be through if she didn't find a way to repair it soon. She wrapped a flame-retardant cloth around her arm, hoping to stop the sizzling sounds so she wouldn't give away her position. She did not think the two were rebels...
-
jaw drops as he sees yet ANOTHER person, "wat tha heck.....ANOTHER soldier?"
-
Saphir awoke the next morning and felt beside her for fyroh. "Huh?" She shot up and reced to the clearing, still unarmed and weqring nothing but the fur on her back and a cloak she had stolen from the body of a dragon thart was ddying on the battlefield. She rushed over to fyroh happily and almost knocked him over in hr eager relief. "I thought you ditchd me like the others did...
-
((Because I've been left behind (timezones, la de da) I'm just going to continue from where Fyroh saw me. And yes you can use multiple characters.))
I heard rustling down below me. Looking down, I saw twofigures. I instantly knew that they where soldiers. I hovered for a bit, and then prepared to dive. I was here to kill. My body glowed with energy as I gathered speed, my black hair spreading out behind me.
I landed, claws outstretched, on the first soldier I saw. I perpared to kill, but stopped and retracted my claws. It was a fur, and there were others. I took a few steps back, disgusted. I hated soldiers, but I would not kill my own kind. But still, I hated furres who betrayed to humans.
I got down on all fours and growled. There were two of them. A male grey wolf and a female white wolf. This made it worse - I had always thought that we wolves were the stronger kind, that we would not give in to the humans.
"You sicken me!" I shouted at them in disgrace, and slapped each one of them, with my claws out, causing deep wounds.
-
Saphir looked at the creature and smiled warmly. "Do I? I'm only here to collect my dues and I'm gone. I don't serve humans. I serve no one. I am no soldier." She patted her bare cloak and opened it, showing the sign painted across her stomach. "I was given this by a human. I am marked for death upon seen. Kill me, I dare you. Humans ruined my family, my life and killed my lover. I hate them but I will help them only until i see this other race they're fighting. After, i will kill all and jion the others imn my rightful place as queen again..." Her smile was turning mischevious.
-
I growled. "You look like a soldier to me. And fur soldiers serve humans. You are a slave to them, and your words mean nothing. I do not believe in words. I believe in action. You are a dirty soldier. And soldiers must be punished. Humans must be killed." I snarled at the wolf, and prepared to attack it. But I heard something above me, and looked up to see what it was. I though I saw something move. I forgot about my anger for a second.
"There is something above us." I told the wolf.
-
Saphir laughed. "Think they're gonna attack?" Her grin was cruel. "I'm here for the other species, check them out and side with them."
The human crouching in the bushes couldn't beleive her ears. She ran out and put her gun to saphirs head. "I help you out and then you betray me?" She screamed, tears streaming down her face. "I thought I was your companion.."
-
Fyroh stumbled back upon being hit. "I have my own reasons. You don't get paid for rebelling. You get paid for the army. I'm fighting for the army because my brother is sick, and we cannot afford medicine." That was only half the reason why he'd joined the humans, though. However, he was shocked upon what Saphir said. He wanted to tell the human to put her gun away, but didn't, and drew his own instead. "Traitor. You'll end up killing me on the battlefield, I know it." he breathed. "I'm fighting for my brother, and if you leave for the other side, it could be dangerous. I won't be the only one that dies, my brother wll pass away too. Both of us, in pain. A Rayviel dies with honour, not of a sickness, and not from a bloody alien invasion." he hissed.
-
"Look at youself. You're practically their tame one. You disgust me. I hate humans, and i've hated them forever. It's not gonna change just because your brother is one. I won't kill anyone. I'm not fighting."
The human lowered her weopon and punched saphir in the jaw with a snarl. "B***h."
-
Fyroh growled at her. "I have a good reason to be the humans' 'tame one'." He tensed himself, and took several steps back. He tried speaking, but no words came out. Eventually, it looked like he was trying not to cry. Somehow, he managed to make himself whisper, "I am human..." He then ran into the forest, not waiting for their reactions; the rebel would probably kill him, given a chance.
-
Saphir blinked stupidly for a second before bursting into tears. She ran after fyroh, calling to him. "I'm SORRY!" She sat on the ground when she realized he was gone and cried.
The human put the gun to her temples and ended her breathing..

Name: Remmiith Donner
Gender: male
Species: Naga:
From the waist up is a almost human appearance, differences being a blueish tinted ‘skin’. He sports a second, slightly smaller pair of functional arms from the waist, and his back is all scaled like the tail, grading into a fine scale that mimics skin at his front. This back is a dark mottled green. Another notable difference in the upper body from humans is the two rows of long black spikes running down either side of his back, starting high on his head as small inch long spikes, and sweep down along his back, becoming meter long ‘wings’ along his back, before reducing down to a foot along the tail. The spikes have deep purple webbing in between them, and the spikes are jointed at the base allowing for fine motor control. He also has no hair, but does sport small ridges of large purple scales that function as eyebrows. Seated under them is a pair of large, dark eyes and pitted cheeks. Another science interest is the fact that the nose seals shut in water, like the cetatians blowholes on earth. Below the torso all humanoid appearances vanish into a serpentine form. The long tail is compressed, allowing for increased speed and maneuverability in water. They can out swim speedboats and torpedoes in the water, but on land they are painstakingly slow in comparison. The scale pattern of the tail portion of his body is a dark mottled green on his back, fading into a lighter green. And the underbelly scales are a deep purple.they have a large number of electricity generating organs, and are capable of large bursts of high voltage electricity when needed. They are also known for actively controlling electricity in their vicinity, though whether this is a mental ability or the manipulation of their electric organs is unknown.
((These organs are made of electrocytes lined up in series. The electrocytes are lined up so the current flows through them and produces an electrical charge. When the eel locates its prey, the brain sends a signal through the nervous system to the electric cells. This opens the ion channel, allowing positively-charged sodium to flow through, reversing the charges momentarily. By doing that it creates electricity, and fires it at its prey. The electric eel generates its characteristic electrical pulse in a manner similar to a battery, in which stacked plates produce an electrical charge. In the electric eel, some 5,000 to 6,000 stacked electroplaques are capable of producing a shock at up to 500 volts and 1 ampere of current (500 watts). he has just shy of 25x that.))

Background story: The dwellers of the Deep have never really cared for the surface dwellers, as centuries of stories told of ships disappearing at sea and monsters coming to claim the lives of their crew. However, until the First War, they had remained an enigma. But the recent wars have earned their interest, given the amount of warships sinking to their depths. They participated in the first war since the humans also began to attack them, In retaliation, they sank hundreds of ships worldwide through electrical fires, navigating ships to reefs, and massive electricity charged storms generated by hordes of them underwater, destroying whole fleets and armadas in one massive move. Several of the Deep Dwellers have left the safety of the deep and have come forth to explore the world. Rem is a curious dweller of the Deep that seeks to find out what this new war is that has erupted, disrupting their home once more.
Rebel
========================
He slithered slowly through the underbrush, his large form snaked along slowly in the night. It was obvious he was not a fighter, though beyond that is anyone's guess. He continued on slowly, advancing onward at a slow but steady pace.
-
SAphir wiped her tears away, still crying. "Fyroh.." Her voice came out a croashe doubted anyone couldhear. She saw something slither by slowly and she shivered. "Fyroh?"
-
Remmith sopped momentarily, spying Saphir catch a glimpse. He decided to play it low key, and moved on in silence, for fear that the sounds of him defending himself would bring more soldiers.
-
Fyroh heard her, and froze. He didn't know what to do. Should he return to the traitor, and see what she wants? She sounded distressed... or was it a trick? Had he heard something he wasn't supposed to? Had he SAID something he wasn't supposed to? He didn't know any more. He remained still, not knowing that he was quite near to Saphir.
-
((watd i miss?))
"well,i guess i might as well go out there and get it then...."
sneaks out behing bushes, trying to stay hidden, and looks into bags
-
Saphir ran foreward and fell on her face, still crying.
-
She awoke the next morning, laying on the ground in the forest about ten feet from the clearing. She attempted to stretch out and get up but yelped in pain and curled up again. Her legs were cramping up and it was very painful to move. She stayed still, eyes closed tightly, waiting for the cramps to cease.
-
Nyx sat in the branches up high watching the spectacle below. She was unsure if she should trust any of the furs below... And yet she felt a need to reach out for help before her arm was completely useless. It had been damaged in battle, which was very hard to do seeing how it is almost indestructible... But somehow a human had managed with some newly created weapon. From the corner of her eye, she sensed movement in the trees. She wasn't alone. Somewhat spooked, she lost her footing... CRAP! Nyx thought as she snatched in hopes for a branch to catch herself on, but it wasn't there. Snatching again, she succeeded and heaved herself up on the limb while at the same time trying to hide. Leaves slowly drifted down to the ground around the others. She knew that she'd been heard.
-
Remmith stayed as motionless as a statue as the leaves fell down around him. He looked up as best he could without moving, and thought he saw a figure briefly. He narrowed his eyes, he knew he was in a bad position now, with people in seemingly each direction and no clue which of them weren't the ones that would shoot him. He backed against a large bulbous tree slowly, his tail coiling around the narrow portion of the trunk and stayed still as stone. In the dark he almost looked like a part of the tree itself as he stayed there, waiting, watching.
-
"aww...not in this bag....." looks into other different bags until, "FOUND IT!!" i yelled, axidentallie, "......oh...meh gawd..."
-
One soldier ran off, and the other followed. I was alone, but I still sensed something in the trees. A few leaves glided down by my feet, and my thoughts were almost confirmed. There had to be something up there - and even if it was a measley bird it would still mean food.
I flew up the tree. It wasn't very tall, but it still had enough leaves and branches to hide something. My eyes glowed a bright yellow as I searched in the dim light of the moon, but found nothing. I climbed down, but stumbled at the bottom, as I fell over something at the tree's base. The fall caused me to close my eyes, and my light was lost. I thought I saw some kind of figure - but it seemed like a trick of the light.
Still determined in my search for the sound, I climbed the tree again. I didn't risk my wings, incase they caused noise or for the creature - whatever it was - to be startled and flee. Eventually I came to a branch where there was definetely something on it. It didn't seem dangerous, nor did it seem human, but still I cautiously apporached it, baring my blood stained teeth.
-
She got to her feet and went over to the thing she had seen slithering by. She gasped. "A Naga? How did they et all the way heree? I wonder if they're the creatures we're suppossed to be fighting.." She said, looking arond for more adn accidentally kicking the naga.
-
As Buiolupo stumbled over him, the Naga had stayed completely silent and still as possible. He could see just fine in the dark, but it wasn't as good as his electro-location that he could use in the water. He saw a figure with glowing eyes, and He thought it saw him, but it dismissed him and climbed over him back up the tree. When Saphir kicked him, a reflex action instinctively happened. The Naga whipped it's tail from around the tree at a surprisingly fast speed given it's bulk, trying to body check Saphir with almost five hundred pounds of Naga flesh.
-
applies medicine to chest and pulls torn hoodie back on,
then walks back out into open, looking at evrieone
-
Nyx could see perfectly in the dark... and could see a soldier, rebel or fighter, she was unsure of, approaching. She'd been able to dodge him the first time he had climbed the tree, but now she knew she was seen and would inevitably be spoken to. Her arm spat out a loud spark, startling Nyx, making her clench it and scoot backwards on the limb in a feeble attempt to put distance between the herself and the unknown other. If she had to, she'd fight her way out of this, but there was no way she'd be retreating.
-
sees a movement in trees and looks at a rather large rock,
"GET OUT OF THE TREES....." i said,
holding out a hand to the trees,
throwing the rock into them
-
The cramping in her legs finally ceased and she slowly opened her eyes. She rolled over she was on her hands and knees, looking around to see if any enemies or rebels had her yelp; apparently none had. She stood and moved diagonally left, away from where she had been lying on the ground and away from where she thought she heard suspicious noise. Her eyes were scanning the area in front of her as she walked, not wanting to be caught off-guard.
-
Saphir grunted when the five hundred pound naga tail went into her side. "Can you possibly let go? that hurts.." She threw all twenty-three of her daggers into the nearby tres, making sure nto to throw any near the naga and reward herself wit more pain from his tail.
-
"It depends." The Naga says slowly and quietly, plying her with a little pressure, "Side... Which are you on? I suggest you speak quickly too, as I am not fond of waiting."
-
She drew herself to her full six foot five height and thundered, "I am on youer left and you hit my right. D**NIT!! THAT HURTS!!"
-
He wasn't intimidated, nor impressed. He raised himself to his full height of 8' 2", while still curling his tail around her without touching her, the spines sticking inward menacingly like a living version of the Iron Maiden. Several of his Spines arced with electricity briefly as he said slow and low. "Intimidating me with such pithy things will not work. Just remember you are the aggressor here. Now answer the question." He seemed to think for a moment, then added reluctantly, "Please. And do keep your voice down. That's your only warning."
-
I saw a spark, which startled me, causing me to fall back off the branch. Luckily I caught onto it, and hoisted myself up again. The thing didn't seem that threatening - and there was something on it that was damaged. I approached further, and opened my mouth to speak, but closed it again, wondering what to say. I asked simply, "Are you friend or foe? Rebel or soldier?" I prepared myself for attack, and drew my wings around my body. I was tough, but small - I didn't want to risk injury.
-
The dragoness clenched her fist and looked at the other, preparing to fight of she had to, but preferring not to. "Rebel." she said softly, her tail lazily curling around her ankle in anticipation of the soldier's reaction, "There's no way I'd help the humans after what all they've done to me."
-
Saphir lowered her vioce and whispered, "I choose the soldiers side so i could be paid and later to torture the humans for what they did to me. Which side are you?"
-
He had a blank look for a moment, saying, "....Paid?" Then something seemed to dawn on him, then he continued, saying harshly, "Oh. Right. Human currency. Money... Then you're a traitor to -everyone-." He narrowed his eyes while his tail began squeezing inward, the spikes nearly brushing her. One of the 'active' arcing pairs of spines zapped her back with a mild jolt once as it closed inward. The air had become heady with a hair-raising feeling from the electrical charge he was building as he loomed ominously over her. He leaned in and stared down at her coldly, hissing in a truly chilling tone, "I hate... traitors."
-
SAphir shrugged, not flinching from the jolt. "A traitor I am not. The humans are traitors. They killed my family and never helped me find anything when I asked for anyone who cared enough to. They're the traitors. Not me." She shrugged again and gently slipped out of his tail. "If you must kill me go ahead, you'd be doing me a favor and reuniting my family..."

((Might as well join. That way i have something else to come back to. Also, i'm gonna be using someone who uses a foreign language made up by yours truly. Hope you don't mind. ^^;))
Name: Fe'shikz (Felix)
Age: 14
Race: Fel'ihn. (Feline from a tribal village..)
Appearance: http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a269/LupusTheLycan/RP/?action=view¤t=kattar.jpg
Fe'shikz was running as fast as he could. He had a few angry humans behind him, who didn't exactly take too well to pranks. I mean, come on, don't they have a sense of humor? He just left a zai'h in their campfire. So it made a lot of noise and most of the soldiers were asleep, but they didn't have to get so mad. Right? He suddenly heard a loud bang, followed by people yelling. Which is when he suddenly collapsed to the ground. His left shoulder was burning... It hurt... A lot... He had to get up... Had to get away... He didn't think there was rush, though. They had stopped running... Instead they were yelling at the guy who made that bang... What was that...? A spell? He pushed himself up with his right arm and got up to his feet and started walking again. He could hear people ahead... They... didn't 'feel' like the humans did... Maybe... they could help him... Man, that spell hurt...He could feel the blood flowing out of him, like he was a juicy fruit... His fur would be a pain to clean... He continued walking forward... Towards the voices ahead... He felt tired... Everything was... turning black... He suddenly felt numb all over. His body collapsed forward and landed on the ground... He couldn't help but wonder if he was going to die... Not yet... He had so many things he wanted to do... It was so dark... Not yet...
((Holy. Joy for the writing bug. In case you didn't understand what happened, Felix pulled a prank, one of the humans didn't like it and fired a bullet into his left shoulder. He collapsed, but managed to get up again and start running again. After a little while, he collapsed again, due to blood loss... Hope we have medical staff. ^^;))
-
I relaxed a little, and approached the creature. In the dim light she couldn't make it out much, but it seemed to have scales - a dragon maybe? "As am I." I loud gun shot in the distanced set the fur on my back to stand up, and if it hadn't been for that fact that my black hair was so long, it would have gone with it. "What was that?" I asked the dragon, not expecting recieve a reply. I plunged down from the tree, and landed on all fours. I signalled to the dragon to follow, and saw figures in the distance. They were running toward something.
I snuck into a bush near where they were heading, and jumped at them, slitting the throats of two of them. I felt no remorse - huamans must be killed, soldiers even more so. But there were too many, and I needed help from the dragon. They had guns too. I wassn't scared. I checked what they were trying to catch - it was a fur, so I did not kill.
-
She instinctively ducked when she heard a gun shot behind her. What the- She turned to see running figures, the one ahead of the others collapsed. She saw a dark figure kill two of the others and check the collapsed figure but the dark figure did nothing to it. Must be a fur...crap! If that one is attacking humans then...I'll be attacked if I stay here to be found. ****, being a fur soldier is dangerous. She turned back around and continued on, as quietly as possible, in the direction she was going in before. She didn't dare to run because of the risk of being heard. Hopefully, she would be moving quietly enough and the humans would be distracting enough so she could get away. If not, she would be ready to draw her twin sai to battle. I'm pretty sure that that dark fur will be too busy with the humans to notice me. Plus, I'm farther away so they might not even notice me here. I hope I can get away without fighting...I'm sick of fighting... It was true. She was tired of fighting so many battles, tired of being one of the ten or so survivors when she had been in a group of hundreds, tired of having to wonder if she could trust other furs...just so tired of the whole war. She wanted the alien things to leave so she would be free and wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore, accept being alone when it was all over and done with. Alone... She thought to herself as she continued to move farther and farther away from the others.
-
When he heard the gunshot he made a gurgling sound. "I don't have time for games... I'll deal with you later." He slithered off into the direction of the shot. When he got there, he saw one fur on the ground, bleeding, and one busy combating soldiers. He pulled something from his pack, it was a mono-filament wire. it was so thin, the light only caught it for the briefest second, then it was practically invisible. He wove it through his fingers some what, then started making intricate motions with his hands, causing the filaments to float off into the directions he wanted.it loops of it floated over the soldiers, behind them, and one settled around a soldier's neck. He shrugged, not intending to do it, then pulled one finger sharply, and the wire severed the head of the soldier in the back as the other wires approached their rear flank as he pulled it in, shredding the body of the severed individual. Most of the soldiers were looking in that direction now, for the unseen assailant, thinking the attack originated from the rear flank.
-
She turned her head to look back as she continued to walk along quietly. Someone's head was cut off and then the body was shredded. She cringed. She had fought before but still, she had never seen anyone get their head cut off and get shredded. How did that happen? She stopped walking, moved to stand behind a tree, and looked around it, watching. She couldn't see who or what was the cause of it. She wanted to help but she didn't want her fate to be the same as the human's. So she just looked on quietly, knowing that the humans would most likely be massacred, but she didn't know those shoulders so she didn't really care. She had no real friends in this war. This was basically because she knew that when you make friends in a war, your friends usually get killed. She didn't want that. She squinted some, scanning the forest for a sign of who or what had just killed the human.
-
He made a swirling motion, and the mono-filament wires pulled in between the soldiers. he pulled his arms close to himself, and the wires made contact with four soldiers. He let out a chilling laugh then loosed his damned up charge through the mono-filament. the filament actually lit up bright like a massive light bulb throughout the troop, blinding the soldiers that were surrounded in the wires. As it floated through the air, the soldiers that were touching it jerked and thrashed from electric shock as they fell to the ground. he sustained the jolt, the bodies still jerking, as they smoked and even caught fire, then he stopped the jolt and gave the filaments a sharp tug. That sent flaming, cooked, body parts and chunks flying. The filament's light died out, and he 'reeled' it in quickly. He then slithered around the group, mostly out of sight, as the few remaining soldiers were still trying to figure out what was happening.

sees a flash then pieces of objects fly into the air, "wat in tha.....ewww......." winces and closes eyes
-
Saphir shrugged and slipped off, looking for fyroh again. She looked everywhere then sat down, exhausted and wanting to be nearby for the naga to come kill her.. "I wish I had all the answers..It would help me so much.." She sighed, twirling her daggers around her claws.
-
"hehe...its funnie how...when i got here...she spit on meh..
and now...she just ignores meh like im not even here...."
goes into bags and looks for food, "eehhhh.....im hungwie....." i weaklie said
-
Saphir, hearing the kid came up behind him and handed him a peice of meat. "If you're gonna fight, you better keep up with me. I know these woods better than most of the furs i've met, so far.." She whispered, motioning behind her. She turned to go and pulled the daggers out of her pockets again, grumbling about humans.
-
"gah!....oh,thanks...." takes meat and nibbles on it, "hehe..i dunno if i *nibble* CAN keep up wif *nibble* you guys....."
-
Nyx sat in the tree, nodding to the other when she heard the gunshot ringing in her ears. The other wolf like figure disappeared in the direction of the sound, and the dragoness tagged along. When the battle seemed to overwhelming to the lone wolf, she was prepared to fight... But decided not to when an unknown Naga arrived, slaughtering the rest. A loud and harsh pop from her cybernetic arm reminded her that she needed to find tools, and fast.
((I forgot to post a visual for you guys. This is her appearance: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j82/molinamaniac/1171791621.airraiser_nyx_sketchie_by_airraiser_07.jpg with the colors of my avatar.))
-
She stumbled back a couple steps when the light burst out in the darkness. She resisted yelling out from the suprise and brightness of the light that had shined in her eyes and moved so she was behind the tree again, not looking around it for fear of being totally blinded. She could hear zapping and sizzling, and she could smell burning flesh. Her nose scrunched, a disgusted look on her face. Then she heard chunks of what she could only assume to be human parts fly through the air and hit the ground and trees. She practically gagged, even without seeing what actually happened. The light went away and she looked around the tree. She couldn't see much, just a few remaining soldiers who were probably totally confused like she was. She continued to watch the area, waiting to see if anything else was going to happen.
-
((Well, since no one wants to kill them/save them...))
He watched out of the edge of his vision as the wolf fur hesitated, apparently having trouble dealing with his methods. He grinned darkly as he moved into position to strike again. He made more over the top motions this time with intricate motions involving all four arms, like he was weaving a intricate design. that sent the wires slinging between, around, and above the soldiers. He bit down on one wire, rearing back as he pulled tight away from his face with all four arms. The wires closed like a Chinese finger trap as the soldiers realized what was happening and tried to fight their way out, their own struggling making it tighter. They were forced together, save for one that almost escaped... he lost his lower half and an arm in the process. Bloody lines criss-crossed their uniforms, cutting into their skin as the wires continued to close. He laughed coldly again as they pleaded for mercy. They didn't get it. Their blood momentarily filled the air as the trap fully closed, shredding their bodies. Flesh and bone alike was shredded, reducing them to a pile of flesh. He wrapped up the wire carefully and put it away as he slithered out slowly to inspect his work. His icy laugh resounded again as he saw the pile of flesh that used to be several soldiers. His voice darkly sounded off, "Total. Annihilation."
-
Saphir smiled. "If you really ned me, I'll be right beside you." She wrapped her arm around his shoulder and led him away from the clearing, towards where fyroh had run off. "Fyroh. FYROH!" She hissed, loking everywhere for him.
-
Fyroh had heard the sounds of fighting nearby; his leg was still hurting, especially after the incident with his leg... On multiple occasions, he had heard footsteps, yet silently retreated every time he heard them... he couldn't risk meeting anyone, except an ally... and in these parts they were scarce, for he knew the rebel base was nearby. Suddenly, he heard footsteps again; he instinctively retreated, away from Saphir, who he didn't know was searching for him, but couldn't risk it not being an ally. Actually, Saphir was the one he least wanted to encounter... if he was found by her, there was no telling of his fate.
He heard another set of footsteps, and started to move away, before a voice sounded; "Fyroh?"
He turned, slowly, and recognised the one with him. It was his old friend, Olhal, fighting on the same side as Fyroh was. Olhal was human, like most of the soldiers. He had several scars and scratches, and wore a knee length trenchcoat over his uniform, yet had the badge on the outside to prove he was a soldier. An MK11 sniper rifle was on his back, and two M11 sub-machine guns were at his belt, along with a desert eagle. Fyroh smiled, and nodded with recognition. "Olhal. It's not safe to be here currently... I'm certain that I'm being followed by rebels, and a traitor."
Olhal frowned. "Fyroh, we're in this together, for your brother." Like Fyroh, he spoke with an English accent.
Fyroh sighed. "I never meant to drag you into this-"
"What do you mean?" Olhal enquired. "I did this of my own accord. I need to help you, and I couldn't bear seeing Vlaardi suffer." he muttered. "Even if you go down, God forbid, I'll carry on fighting for your brother, and all of our freedom. The rebels aren't helping; ignorant fools, though humans and furres have always been opponents, they've been less than helpful. If they want to be killed by aliens, let them be killed. Idiots." Olhal finished.
Fyroh sighed. "Olhal, now isn't the time. I need to get out of here... and my leg is injured."
Olhal shushed him; both of them heard footsteps, and Olhal helped Fyroh to retreat before anybody came.
-
Saphir, hearing fyroh and another arguing, she decided to sneak up on them. Circling around the voices, she pounced fyroh and then got off, looking horribly guilty and worried about something. "I'm sorry fyrho..For everything.."
-
Fyroh instantly freaked out as soon as he was touched; he threw her off practically as soon as she'd touched him. Suddenly recognising her, his mouth widened and he backed away, but she was greeted by Olhals M11 to the back of her head. "Keep quiet." Olhal whispered to her fiercely. "I'm assuming this is the one you mentioned... the traitor..." he muttered. Fyroh nodded. "How did you know?"
"It's obvious." Olhal replied simply. Both seemed to have disregarded the fact that she'd apologised. Fyroh grunted. Olhal kept the gun firmly to her head. "Should we take her back to camp? She might make a good prisoner..."
"Forget it. Let her go." Fyroh said, turning away. Olhal lowered his gun, then Fyroh added, "Saphir... you may as well kill me now. I can tell you'll end up doing it anyway."
Olhal looked furious at the concept, and rose his gun again. "Fyroh, I'm not letting a traitor kill you, especially not while I'm here."
-
Saphir looked horrified and shook her head. "I couldn't..No. I wouldn't.." She withheld the other part and looked at the ground guiltily. "I can't kill you.." She whispered, reaching into her robe and removing all her wepons.Throwing them at his feet, she sank to the ground, tears streaming down her face. I want to tell him but my head is telling me not to.. My heart is screaming and i can't quiet it till i tell him how i see him...
-
Fyroh instantly looked guilty. Even Olhal lowered his gun, wishing he hadn't done anything, strapping it to his belt again. A tear crept down Fyrohs face as well. "I'm sorry." he whispered, lowering to the ground next to her, and rubbed her back, ignoring the weapons. Olhal looked like he was going to give Fyroh another warning about trusting traitors and such, but thought better of it, and stepped back, leaning against a tree.
-
Saphir shrugged off his hands and got to her feet, glaring at olhal before stalkin away, now bawling her eyes out. "I HATE YOU!!" She yelled quietly, sitting on a rock and hugging herself. "But i love you.." She whispered, curling into a ball on the rock and leeting her tears stain her muzzle.
-
The serpentine figure moved with purpose, simply saying, "And now for that traitor..." He slithered at a fair clip for him right past the wolf fur, merely giving her a glance and a grin, flashing his mouthful of sharp semi-opaque amber teeth.
-
Saphir, Hearing the naga, ran ack to fyrho and burrowed her head into his arms, shivering uncontrollably. "Don't let him... I can't get there in time..I love you..." She whispered in his ear, blushing a dark red.
-
Fyroh didn't touch her; he didn't know what she'd do. She just said she hated him, but now...? He was confused, but him and Olhal drew their guns simultaneously, not to harm Saphir, but to defend her, and themselves, from anything that came near.
-
She had heard conversation in the distance and, after a bit, she heard a female voice yell, "I HATE YOU!!!" That doesn't sound too good... Then she heard a male voice very close to her say, "And now for that traitor..." She turned her head and saw a figure slither by and grin. She shivered, watched it pass, and continued to follow it's movement to see where it was headed.
-
((And...the rest will have to wait...got work.))
He paused when Shana started following. He said in a low tone as he looked back at her, "War is brutal and unforgiving. If you can't deal with it go home, angelfish." He put on some special gloves, they looked like they were padded and good for gripping while he continued grinning.
-
Saphir looked up at him pleadingly. "I'm so sorry...I didn't mean it.. I love you.." She whispered again, shivering violently.
-
He sighed, and hugged her, still holding a gun. "It's okay..." he whispered. A tear rolled down his cheek. "I love you too." he whispered. Olhal didn't pay attention; he'd heard something nearby, and was frantically looking around for whatever it was.
-
She stopped as well. Huh, angelfish...sure buddy... She thought to herself then spoke quietly. "I know what war is like. I've killed others, watched them die. I've watched my allies die too. That's why I don't make friends, because I know what happens to friends in war." She looked down at the ground and muttered. "Believe me, I know war." She looked back up with a tough, numb look on her face. This was the face she had learned to make even when something was bothering her.
-
Saphir purred and wiped his tear away gently. "Thank you.." She looked at olhal and shivered again.. "It's the naga.." She pointed to her left and made a shooshing motion. Sneaking over, she peered aorund and saw him. She cooted back to fyrho quickly and hid, whimpering softly. "I don't need to die here.. Not after all the furs i helped and the humans i put out of their misery.."
-
Olhal frowned. "You two run. I'll take care of it..."
Fyroh objected. "Olhal, this is out of your league-"
"We're in this together! I know you'd do the same for me, so get your girl and yourself out of here!!" Olhal commanded with suprising force.
Fyroh grabbed Saphirs hand, and immediately started to run from the area.
Olhal held his two M11s tightly in his hand. He didn't know exactly what Saphir meant by 'naga', nor did he know exactly where it was, but he kept his guns firm, ready to fire at whatever revealed itself. He constantly flinched due to small noises and movements from small creatures in the forest.
-
The naga looked at Shana witch an arched scaly brow. "So be it then... little tigerfish. You might as well tell that odd friend of yours in the tree over there I know his or her position. I can sense the capacitors and electronics running... it doesn't seem like an advanced weapon... an artificial limb, mayhap?" He shrugged, then started slithering off into the forest, "No matter, I suppose... now if you will excuse me, I have a traitor to deal with." He waved at her over his shoulder, slipping into a extra dense patch of thorny bushes.
Several minutes later, he approached Olhal's position((which was actually less then a minute away)), a grim grin on his face. His arms, all four of them, were outstretched, fingers splayed, as if to indicate he was unarmed. His voice resonated and almost seemed to gurgle, "Human. Let us talk. You can't trust a double turncoat. Where is the traitorous one? Tell me and I shall leave you alive and well. Unharmed even." Beside Olhal there was the momentary glint of light, the only trace of a mono-filament wire that stretched to an unknown distance.
-
Olhal gritted his teeth. He knew himself that it was hard to trust a traitor, and he generally didn't want to risk trusting Saphir... but if he revealed her location, it would put Fyroh in danger, and that was one of the reasons he joined the army with Fyroh; because he knew Fyroh couldn't pull it off alone, and especially not in time to save his brother. "I'm not telling you anything." he muttered, through his teeth. His guns were fixed on the target... he knew that he was no match, but he also knew Fyroh was even less of one. Through his anger, his fists caught fire accidently; he took advantage of the mistake and rose each fireball to float beside his head, ready for use.
-
Something wiped out most of the soldiers, and the rest ran away. I searched for whatever did it, but found nothing. Had it all been some kind of trick? Pushing these thoughts to the back of my mind, I went to the injured fur. He didn't look like a soldier to me, so I spared him anymore injury. Instead, I hoisted him onto my back and took him up to a hollow tree, where he couldn't be found. Then I brought food. I ate my share in silence, waiting for response from the fur. I examined him, just to make sure he wasn't dead. While doing so I tried to figure out what species he was, but I didn't recognise it. I sighed and lent on the bark of the tree.
-
Fe'shikz slowly woke up and looked around... He spotted a black wolf and felt a little... scared. He was... also in a tree... Did the wolf take him up? His shoulder was still hurting... He felt so weak... "Na'... Nhe' Kur'e...?" He muttered. The wolf probably wouldn't understand him... He wanted to go home... To his village... It hurt... He started praying that he wouldn't die... He didn't want to die like this... Not from... some spell cast by humans... "...Jip'el... Jip'el'a..."
-
I heard the boy speak, but it sounded like....jiberish? I expected that he would be suffering from shock, and that caused the wierd speaking. "Hush, boy, you're safe now." I said, trying to be comforting. It was hard though, I rarely spoke or made contact with people, and when I did it was usually threats or attack.
-
She listened to him and stood there as she watched him slither away; she saw him wave over his shoulder. She raised her hand as a wave, knowing he wouldn't see it since he was looking in the other direction, then lowered it again. Leaning back against a tree, she crossed her arms and watched what he was doing. Odd friend? In a tree? I have no friends here, let alone friends in trees with an artificial limb- Her thoughts were interupted for a minute when she heard him speak to another and she saw a glint of light behind the other momentarily. The other responded, then she saw two fireballs appear and float up next to what she now noticed as a he, since he spoke too quietly for her to notice through how his voice sounded. She shook her head. He's no match... She focused her vision on his face. ...and he knows it. He's willing to sacrifice himself to protect...a traitor? She continued to look at his face. Must be someone he cares about with the traitor. She sighed. Friends in the war...it gets them killed. She continued to think as she looked on. And sure, she always told herself not to make friends in war and frowned upon those who did or who joined with the war with friends...but she really wanted friends in this war. She hated being a loner even though it kept her alive. She just wanted to have someone who would actually give their all to save her. She did once but...that's how she learned that you shouldn't make friends or enter with friends. She sank to the ground, now sitting back against the tree with her arms still crossed. Sighing again, she continued to watch the two who weren't too far away from her.
-
Fe'shikz blinked at the wolf and nodded... He understood... He understood her language... He just stared at her... He suddenly felt shooting pain in his shoulder, he couldn't help screaming painfully. He also fell out of the tree, due to this. It hurt so much... The pain didn't stop... If he managed to ignore the pain, he could feel something... vibrating in his shoulder... "...Jip... Jip'el'a... Ko-Kor'eeh... Jip'el..."
-
((Kaj, where is your character from, if an isle or oceanside place, the Naga might know a bit of the language.))
He frowned, saying, "Neat trick. I've got one too, but I'll save mine for later..." He had a small genuine smile for a moment, as if he considered Olhal more of a worthy foe then the other soldiers. Then he made a blank expression for an official message, "I'm a Vanguard Soldier of the Sissironian Empire's Armies. While we come not to invade or war against you humans on your own regions... as we have no interest in your... 'land'...-" He said land as if it was distasteful, "-Your war with the Outsiders is effecting the Deep, and we will not stand by any longer. The Outsiders no longer invade our seas, but their infestation on your land is thick, and your war is spilling into our oceans."
He narrowed his eyes, saying, "However, resistance will be met with deadly force. Make no mistake: We hold as little value to your lives as the Outsiders. But first and foremost, I don't trust that double turncoat, and she must be dealt with. If she would turn on both sides for the other, why not turn on both at once? The information that could be divulged is not something we can afford to let loose."
-
((For the sake of having someone understand Fe'shikz, i'm gonna say a tribal village on an isle. :P))
-
The boy fell from the tree, and a flew down as fast as I could to catch him. I did so just a foot away from the ground, and took him back up. He was obviously in a lot of pain. I checked in wound, and found a single bullet. Flinching, I realised that I would have to take it out to help him heal. "This is going to hurt a little...but it'll help your healing..." I explained, wondering if he could understand me. I turned away, and used my long claw to dig the bullet out, and flick it down from the tree - what use would it have now? I didn't know why I was being so kind - by this stage I should have been throwing him out of the tree and telling him to fend for himself. But there was something about this creature - or maybe I actually enjoyed the company? That would be a bit strange though....
-
The boy screamed as she dug the bullet out of him... The pain finally started to subside... He then stared at the wolf for a second and bowed his head. "Cohl'u." He raised his head again and smiled. He was very grateful to the wolf. He wondered how he could repay her... But for now... He just hugged the wolf tightly, as a sign of affection and appreciation. "Cohl'u." He smiled brightly, as he wondered how she would react.
-
The boy seemed grateful, and I was pleased, but then he hugged me. I felt a little awkward, but then relaxed and hugged him back. I had never experienced any affection in my life, so it was new to me. My mother died when I was born and my father believed that affection was weak. It felt nice to be appreciated. I smiled at the boy. Remembering the food I had caught earlier, I dug it out from a branch thick with leaves. Rabbit. I didn't know what he ate - or whether he even ate meat, but handed it to him. "This is for you - you'll need strength to heal." I told him.
-
Fe'shikz smiled, as he was hugged back. He had a feeling that she wasn't a very huggy person. He then gave a bright smile as he saw the rabbit meat. He quickly grabbed it and dug in, almost like he was a wild animal. Which wasn't very far from the truth, really...
-
Everyone had disappeared. Including the wolf. Nyx sat in the clearing looking around as her arm gave its final spits of sparks... It was totally useless now. If she tried hard maybe she could grasp somethings, but for the most part, it was unusable. Suddenly, an idea struck her... She'd been given a small pouch of tools for repair on the battlefield. Quickly, she shifted through her things, digging for the pouch --- it had been tied to her hip --- only to find it was gone. A bullet must have broken the string that had kept it there, it was probably forever lost now. "DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!" she yelled out of frustration, not caring whether she gave away her position or not. She'd probably not last very long without her arm... She'd have to rely on her black magic.... But she didn't want to... She couldn't fully control it.
-
I was pleased to see the boy eat, and offered him more. "Eat, you must keep your strength up. It is a hard world out there, and only the strongest survive." These were the same morals my own father had taught me by, and I had a strong feeling that the boy could understand me. I wanted to teach him, and get him home. Where he would be safe. The humans could take him as a soldier, and I did not want that to happen.
-
He ate meat eagerly and it didn't take him long to eat everything. He glanced over to the wolf... The strongest survives... His own dad had said the same thing... It was probably a good thing that he was more than capable to take care of himself...
((slight writer's block.))
-
((Same here))
The boy finished his food quickly, and I did the same. "Boy, I need to travel. I do not remain in one place for long. It is time to move. I cannot leave you on your own, you are weak. You must travel with me."
I picked him up and placed him on my back. I flew a bit, until I saw a few sparks, then blackness. The dragonness. I landed with the boy. "Ah, my broken dragon friend. Once again, we meet."
-
Olhal still held no trust in his foe. "I'm telling you nothing." he muttered, taking a step back. His twin fireballs fed off his emotion; they grew, from his fear and anger. He still had his guns out, though he knew if he were to be attacked, he'd be able to do little more than perhaps injure his foe. Though it appeared he was in the clear if he wanted to flee, he didn't; partly because he knew he could be caught, and partly for another reason.
-
She continued to watch the Naga and the human. She could hear everything the Naga said. "That's understandable. I would hate to have my home-well, I don't have a home-but if I did, then I would hate to have it messed up by others' problems." She said to herself so that only she could hear. She had always cared about her surroundings and did her best to keep them the way they were. If she camped, she cleaned up everything when she moved on. If she was near water, sometimes she'd find things floating on the shore (trash and such) and she would pick them up. Yes, she cared very much about nature and hated that humans had been ruining it for years on end. And yet, she was still fighting with the humans, not for them, but for herself and nature that the aliens were also destroying. She knew there were good humans, she had a few human friends before actually, but still some of the humans ruined the image of the others. She started wondering what had happened to her human friends; she knew that one had died in the war between the humans and furries, she had been holding his hand as he died and she was shot at by both furries and humans because of it. But what of the others? She hadn't seen them in a while. All these things were swarming around in her mind when she heard a yell from the clearing, but she had ignored it and continued thinking, still watching the Naga and the human.
-
Nyx's eyes narrowed at the figure landing before her. She let out a sigh of relief to find that it wasn't a soldier. It was the wolf from the tree. "Indeed." she said nodding. "Who's that you've got there? I lost you since you took him." She worked quickly and efficiently, unwrapping the cloth that was tied around her arm and fashioning a sling with it.
-
He had never flown before and thought it was simply amazing... The view was great and he could see so many things... He was a bit disappointed when they landed again. He wanted to fly more. He then laid his eyes on the... dragonness... He was a bit amazed, but gathered himself quickly. He bowed his head politely and said: "I'reh'an." He raised his head and gave a friendly smile to the dragon. He wondered if she would understand him, but he wasn't holding his breath...
-
"I'm not sure who he is, or where he came from. But he is neither a soldier nor a human, and he was injured. I felt I must look after him." I looked down at the dragoness, fixing her damaged arm in a sling. "I could try and fix it for you. But one question, can you fly with your damaged arm? I must travel, and I will not and can not fix your arm until I am in my new residence. There are soldiers to be rid of, their tools and weapons will help me." I turned to the boy again. "You will be flying for a long time, boy, I hope you don't mind."
-
Nyx was unsure of what the feline looking gentlemen said, but she nodded as if acknowledging him. "My arm doesn't effect my wings. I can fly just fine. And, I can repair my arm as soon as I can get my claws on some tools. I don't suppose I'd mind helping you bash a few soldiers as well. Though, I can't say that I'll be as efficient as a fighter without my arm." She pulled her left cybernetic arm close to her. "Good to find someone I can trust. I've been alone this entire war fighting outsiders and humans alike. You're the first rebel I've run across in a while. All the other furs I've bumped into have been fighting for the humans." Her expression was one of disgust. "I could never fight alongside those wretched humans after all the torture I've been through due to them." She spread her wings as if ready to fly, and said, "You lead."
-
He curled his middle finger of his upper right hand, and his index and thumb of his lower left hand. glints appeared from them: At the end of the gloves were where those mono-filament wires attached. "Think carefully..." He said, as silvery lines appeared briefly only to wink out a second later: shifting to the command given. He suddenly closed his upper right hand, bringing it forward, and suddenly, the guns Olhal wielded were caught, and forced to point skyward, as the lines wrapped around it, trapping it in a little nest of razor sharp wires. one of them had gone along Olhals arm before it too wrapped over the guns, shaving hair off as it came close, and cutting a small wafer of flesh off as it started to wrap around the guns. (about the same as a bad abrasion, nothing serious. It's a display of power.) "...I could turn you into wafer thin fish food with the closing of my palms."'
Edit: WTH is up with the sensor here?
-
Olhal breathed through his teeth again. "I'm telling you only this; I'll die for the sake of my comrade. I'm in this war to save his brother, as well as he is. His brother has done no wrong to Furres, or to any of your kind either. If I live, my comrade will die; and then it will be nothing less than pointless for his brother to live in without a brother to trust. The two share an unbreakable bond." he explained. "You've wasted enough time asking their location; and whether I live or die, I'm not telling you anything. I've served my purpose; I bought enough time for them to escape. Whether I live, or die, has no longer any effect... it may slow down the curing of my friends brother if I die, but I'd like you to know, before you kill me, I entered this war to save a life, by taking more. How selfish of me, now I think of it..." He didn't speak as if worried, though the sweat gathering on his forehead showed he was.

The Sissaronian blinked. "I have no interest in that other one, only the traitor." He paused, thinking for a second, "I suppose I am being rather heavy handed. If I were able to find she has no likelihood of defecting to the Outsiders, then perhaps I can let a traitor go. Though if I meet her in battle, I will not hesitate to kill her."
-
Olhal breathed heavily. "I hold little regard for the traitor herself; but I do hold a regard for the one with her... and he will, no doubt, force you to take his life before hers. That is the reason I'm refusing to give her location." He didn't know what to expect next; would he, too, be killed? Or, would he be spared? He didn't know, and could only wait.
-
He stared at Olhal, motionless, the mental cogs turning. It wasn't long before he gave his hands a quick whipping motion, and the wires visibly pooled along the ground, even the guns were let loose. As he sent a certain type of shock along them(which curled them into balls the size of little bells at the end of the fingers), he said, "Then we are alike in that regard, then." He had a slight grin at the edge of his face as he continued, "Then I'll leave it to you to make sure she isn't a threat to everyone. Keep an eye on that one, hmn? So long. Perhaps later, we can battle, but for now, go, catch up to your friend, I have things I still need to do in the vicinity." As he said the last, he turned, waving over his shoulder, and slithering off with a chuckle.
-
Olhal sat, stunned, for about a minute; then slowly reached for his guns. He felt petrified. He took his guns, but didn't know what to do. He didn't know where Fyroh and Saphir were now. He knew the general direction they left in, but that was where it ended... and to top it all off, he was hopelessly lost, and probably in rebel territory too. He rose to his feet, wondering what to do next.
-
He realized that what ever watcher was in the trees with the machinery, it was damaged, becase he could feel it leaking energy. He struggled to use his electro-sense, but the air isn't the best conductor and the forest is too full of wildlife, so he couldn't seem to pinpoint it at first. Until he felt a weakening energy surge again, then realized there were large animals in the tree nearby. Focusing on them, he managed to tell there were...two maybe? He shook his head, it just doesn't work well out of water. He slithered over, and wondered how he was going to get up there. Oh, he might be able to wrap around the tree, but he couldn't climb the thing. He cleared his throat and simply said, "I know you're up there. I can feel it."
-
She had just sat there and watched the conversation between the two, and she watched the Naga let the other go free. "I guess he does have some regard for others." She said to herself. She watched him slither away to a tree and speak upwards to something in it. She shrugged, no longer caring what else was going to happen. She walked straight in the direction of the human. As she passed the human, she turned her head, looking at him for a second and smiling slightly as she passed, then turned her head to look where she was going afterwards.
-
"I'm not sure who he is, or where he came from.
The boy listened patiently to the two talking... He wondered if there was a way to help, but he knew that he would have to be asked for help if he wanted to... After all, they couldn't understand him... Or at least, they couldn't understand his language... He jumped in surprise, as he was asked about the flying. He answered with a big grin and shook his head. He didn't mind at all...
-
I nodded to the dragoness, placed the boy again onto my back, and lifted into the air. I loved flying, I could let go and be free when I flew. The gentle breeze ruffled my fur, right down to my tail. I held onto the boy and span. There was no real reason for this, I just enjoyed it. Then, focusing on our destination, I hovered for a second to check that I knew where we were going. I hadn't seen many soldiers for a while, but I had a rough idea where they were going. Following them gave me some kind of sense. I checked around me for a second to be sure, then took a turn to the left, and continued on.
I was correct in my guess, as in only a few minutes of flying I saw lights flashing and if I strained my ears I could hear gun shots. I wondered if the boy had experienced anything, he might be scared. I turned my head as much as I could, "This is going to be scary if you haven't experienced before. Be brave. You are safe."
-
we both saw the two talking while we hid behind the bushes,
"hey...ish that a-" "SHHHH!!" "oki...oki..."
"great...now they probablie heard us..." we sunk deeper into the bushes
-
Saphir let go of Fyroh's hand and turned back, running into the naga. "Donn't you F***ING DARE touch him. Kill me and They go free. I'm ready to pay for my deeds. Might as well pay for his stupidity..D**n du****s can't do anything right to begin with..And I wonder why i got exiled..huh, siuites me just fine...stupid little boys..i always protect them and get the blame for it.." She looked at the naga and nodded, sticking her neck out for a hanging. "Clean and simple for me. alright? I don't want any of that fancy s*** you were pulling earlier. Just a nie clean cut. Thank you so ery much for this. "

Fe'shikz was having the time of his life. He was having so much fun! He wasn't scared at all! The view, the air and simply how good it felt! He kinda wished he had wings, too. This was so fun! He saw the wolf look back at him. He couldn't help laughing! It was just so awesome!
-
Xenox sees an object dart into the air, "hmm?"
he gets up and leaps into trees, following far behind "it", "aww.....wat ish he doin NOW...."
"i dunno....wanna follow him?" "*sigh*...fine...." we get up and dart into forest, staying low
-
Nyx takes flight, following the wolf. She took in a deep breath of fresh air... She had relaxed the entire flight until she saw flashing lights. There was fighting ahead. She tried to ease her way up beside the wolf, curiously, she asked, "They don't have any cannons, do they?" Fear gripped at her heart as she waited for response. She'd been shot down one of time before... and though her flight skills had drastically improved since then, she couldn't help but have the same old silly fear.
Saphir, stop avoiding the word filter.
-
"....!...wat tha....." he sees another image fly beside her, "how...." tries to catch up
"GAH!!!awww....he sped up....." "WHA!!!........*sigh*...." they also trie to get there
-
He headed to the waters edge, then frowned, saying "No. I've already left that to someone I think will should the need arise."
He watches the two fly off, then heads to the nearby river, deciding to follow them as best he could in water, since that's the only way he could keep up. He speeds along in the water, looking very much like some great torpedo barreling upstream at a rapid pace, creating a large wake since he was at the top of the water, watching the sky.
Edit: trying to juggle too much, got a little ahead of myself.
-
sees a huge wave and then something in the water, "HEY BANE!"
he grapped meh hand and we sped up,slightlie gaining up
-
{no, she's just trying to own up for someone else's mistakes. she's protecting someone she used to know.}
Saphir pulled her neck back and looked at the naga. "I need to find someone. Have you seen a little boy, about twelve or thirteen, red hair, about four foot?" She asked earnestly. She was gonna strangle that boy when she gotr her hands on him. He was supposed to keep up eith her and not get in anymore trouble than he already was...And my assination job has failed..So what else can I do?
-
He paused a second after starting upriver, saying, "Come to think of it...he might have been with the airborne group I've decided to follow. Don't worry, I'll look after him if he's not much trouble. Now excuse me, traitor, I have need to be going. I've left your fate to the Fire Maker's discretion." he dived in again and continued, speeding along the river's middle, forcing himself to go faster, matching a speedboat's pace, trying to catch up as the water waked white and frothy behind his massive tail's undulations.
-
I squinted my eyes, trying to see. "I'm not sure. I doubt it, the only fighting seems to be on the ground. Just don't draw attention to yourself. You'l be safer that way."
One of the main reasons I followed the armys was to find the aliens the humans were fighting. I never did though, I usually missed the actually fighting. I began to lower in to a nearby tree. Most had been destroyed by now from the war, but a patch of about five remained. It seemed safe. "Over there," I gestured to the patch of land, "That's where we land."
-
She looked at olhal and then slipped back in the direction fyroh had been running. "Fyroh? FYROH!" She shouted, sniffing for him. A shot whizzed past her head...
"What the **** is your problem furry? Can't you learn to stay out of the way?" A boy shouted, running past her. He looked about eighteen.
Saphir grabbed him by the collar of his armour and yanked him off the ground. "Listen squirt. You wil respect me and hold your tongue. I am NOT your effing slave and I will NOT tolerate you talking o me like that, got it?" She snarled, shaking him slightly.
The boy grined and puuled out his gun again, pushing it into her face. "What'sd you say?"
"You think  gun or bullets will keep me ut? Think about it boy. I own you until you turn. NEVER forget it." Saphir grinned wider and licked her chops.
-
Nyx nodded, seeing the patch of land, and began her quick steep dive down.
OOC: I will not ask you again Saphir, do not aviod the word filter. I don't care if it's a story, it's still against the rules.
-
sees the object drop to a patch of land,
then sees another object go into the patch "GAH!!!"
catches up and drops into it,then sees the full bodies
-
OOC: nyx, im keeping with the darn rules. im notr avoiding it. lemme go and change it for the princess.
-
I landed, and took in my surroundings. I placed the boy on the ground on a clearing of land, and searched for shleter - and food. "Boy, stay where you are. Do not enter the battlefield - no excuses. It's not safe." to the dragoness I said, "Help me find some food and shelter. If we can't find food we may have to steal from the soldiers. And that's too risky."
-
The boy felt a little for being told to stay put. He was a bit of a restless one, but he wanted to at least try and do what he's told... He stared with a dull look at one of the trees... He was bored already...? This sucked... He wanted to help, too... Maybe...he could just climb into the tree and look around... Yeah, he did that. He quickly climbed into the tree, quickly, yet quietly. He then looked around, making sure no one saw him in the cover of trees... The humans had a lousy sense of smell, anyway... And they didn't see that well, either... There was no way they'd know he was up there, if he was careful...
-
After a bit of searching, I came across a long deserted burrow. I dug a bigger entrance and peered inside - it wasn't that bigg, but big enough. I went back to the clearing to show the boy to his new home, but, to my horror, he was gone. I couldn't shout for him - the soldiers would hear. I didn't know what to do. "Boy? Boy, where are you?" I said softly, incase he was near by.
-
Nyx had found a good tree to stay in for the night. While the burrow was nice, she still liked to stay high... And it was near the burrow, so she could keep watch just in case. Following the wolf in silence, she looked along with her for the boy. She knew leaving him alone wasn't a smart idea... But she'd kept silent, for it wasn't her place to say seeing how she didn't know the boy too well. She focused and was able to feel a presence in one of the trees. It seemed of good energy, and a playful, mischievous innocence. "Over there." Nyx whispered in a barely audible voice pointing to a tree.
OOC: I just enforce the rules. Damn and Hell are fine as long as they are used in context.
-
Fe'shikz heard the wolf calling and climbed down and hung his feet on a branch, hanging from the tree. He simply grinned at the wolf, as he hung upside down from the tree like a Christmas decoration. He felt slightly evil for running away like that, but he couldn't help it... He just wanted to play around...
-
hops next to him, "...ummm...wat are you doing?....." he said, sitting next to him
-
Reaching a beaver dam, he had to crawl over it to get back on track, then realizing they must be nearby, since he didn't see them in the sky anymore. He decided he himself would rest here, at the bottom of the pond that the dam had accumulated. There, in the water, he caught a few fish and ate them, raw and whole, sating his hunger. In the darkened depths, he waited, his electro-sense picking up all the life in the water. Fish, a couple frogs, a beaver, and a heron fishing at the shallows, all small to tiny life. Not sensing anything large in the water, he decided to rest, but his senses remained keen and active.
-
The boy glared at her angrily. "My name is Harkai not Boy."
SAphir smiled and dropped him, walking away.
"***** of the century." Haraki muttered, getting to his feet and brushing himself off.
-
"Gawd, you devil! Could you please try to let me know when you're going to run off?" I told the boy, who was currently hanging upside down, making it kinda uncomfortable to talk to him. "Come with me, I need to show you where you'll sleep."
It was a bit wierd calling the creature 'boy' but that was all I could know him by. Name's where never needed to translate - I should ask him. "Um, by the way. What is your name? Just answer with your name only - so I understand." then I turned to the dragoness, "And yours also, please."
-
He smiled sheepishly, as he flipped down from the tree and onto his feet. He blinked a little at the wolf's question and said simply: "Fe'shikz." He kinda wondered what the wolf's name was, but he knew she wouldn't understand him. He wondered where he was going to sleep... He could sleep in the tree just fine... Couldn't he?
-
"Fe'shikz..." I tested the name out, seeing how it sounded. "Interesting...well my name's Buiolupo. It means dark wolf. I know it's a little strange, especially for a female, but my father never was good at names..." I sighed, remembering him.
I found the burrow again, and crawled inside, indicating Fe'shikz to do the same. "If you don't wish to sleep here, please try and tell me...somehow. I want you to be comfortable. But stay here for now - or at least in this area. I'm going out for food." I had not found any signs of life in the patch of land, and I knew we needed to eat. But I knew where we could get food.
-
Fe'shikz tried to say Buiolupo, but didn't seem to be able to. Instead he decided to call her Oru', which meant black in his language. He walked over to burrow and stopped outside. He peeked inside, but didn't go in. He would much rather sleep in the trees... He glanced up into the trees and felt a want to be there... He decided to rush up into the tree and so he did. He found himself a thick branch to sit and lie on and stayed on it, with a big smile on his face...
-
Fe'shikz climbed up the tree, where I guessed he was more comfortable. I crawled outside the trees. I shook my fur and it, with my skin, turned clear. I was a pair of eyes in the darkness. I folded my wings, and crouched low to the ground, walking on all fours. Gun shots and bombs shook the ground and hurt my ears. I was careful to stay clear of the main fighting. I saw a soldier - he was large and would make a lot of meat. I didn't usually kill humans for food, but desperate times called for desperate measures. I mimicked his body movements, and slowly crawled up behind him. One slit of my claw, and he collapsed in my front legs. I pressed one paw on his chest, and he became clear like me, and I then drageed him back to the den, before repeating the action on two other soldiers, and one fur. I felt guilty for killing a fellow, and buried the fur instead. I could not bring myself to eat it.
I climbed up the tree Fe'shikz was in, "Fe'shikz, I bring food. Come down when you are hungry."
-
The Naga woke, there was a large lifeforms in the water's edge. He stealthily swam up near, and gave a paralyzing shock as he touched it, then dragged it under the water. It was a deer. he drug it to the depths, where it drowned while it twitched from the jolt. He decided it was good enough for a meal, even though he preferred fish. He consumed the deer, head first like a snake. Even from under the water, there was the faint heckle-raising sound of cracking bones as his stomach muscles contracted on the dead deer.
-
Nyx had been silent the entire time she tagged along. "My name's Nyx by the way," she said a little nervously. She wasn't used to talking a whole lot. She preferred to fend for herself the majority of the time... Not getting too attached to anyone. She felt like a stranger among these furs, even though they were her comrades. Buiolupo had returned with food, human, which Nyx was not too fond of. She gave it a look of distaste, but thanked her, knowing that it wasn't easy to obtain the food. "I'm going to get some fish. I'm sure I saw a river near by." She left and adjusted her sight to the occasional flare of lights from gunshots in the distance as she walked... careful to stay low and out of sight of the humans. She had decided against flying because of the mere fact that she'd be easier to spot. Reaching the water's edge, she looked down and saw silhouettes of fat fish swimming about. Though she felt a strong urge to reach in and catch one, something felt wrong... as if she wasn't alone.
-
He sensed another large life form, and had been sneaking close unnoticed, as usual. He had almost decided to paralyze and eat that one, too, then realized it was the one he had felt in the tree some time back, he could feel the capacitors. He surfaced slowly at the water's edge. His webbed spines along his back flaring out like wings momentarily then settling along his back. He took in a deep breath, then said, "So. We meet again. You were in the tree back there, weren't you." It was more a statement then a question.
-
Nyx was somewhat startled... Yet for some reason she had expected it. "Yes, I was. Rebel or fighter?" She asked suspiciously, cautiously stepping back, ready to fight though she was in no condition to do so. If she was going down, she prepared to go down fighting... But she had a feeling she wouldn't be needing to.
-
He smirked, saying with a dark lit, "The fact you feel the need to ask must mean you weren't watching me mince those soldiers. And Neither, though more 'rebel' then anything, I guess. I'm the Vanguard of my race's army, from the Deep. The war going on here, on the Surface, is effecting the Deep. So we feel the need to intervene." He squirmed a little, and there was more bone cracking from deep inside him as the deer's ribs and spine were crushed. It was actually quite loud since he wasn't under the water. He commented in an annoyed fashion, "Hmph. Deer have tough bones... Speaking of food, if I hadn't sensed that arm of yours, you'd be partway down my gullet by now. ...Since you weren't in the water, I couldn't tell exactly what you were." He patted a 'small' bulge in his large serpentine lower body, "Deer aren't half as bad as I thought they'd be though."
-
"Well, I figured there would be no harm to me... And that you were friend and not a foe, but since there were rumors of a traitor, I wasn't sure. If there's one thing I've learned about war... It's you need to limit your trust at some point." The loud snap rung in the air... The deer she supposed he was speaking of. "I'm surprised that you can sense arm. It's totaled for now. Hardly even functional for anything. Damned humans... When they made me what I am they thought I'd work for them, or submit to their control... Hence why my arm was made by the toughest metals made. New metals that are nearly indestructible... but I guess when I rebelled and escaped that Hell-hole of a lab they made something to use against me." Nyx's tail swayed in annoyance as she spoke of the scientists. "My name's Nyx, by the way. That's what the humans called me at the lab... Truthfully, I have no real name."
-
"I know the traitor. Apparently she's betrayed both sides. I left her in the hands of someone that had similar concerns as me. The only side that would accept her is the Outsiders at this point. He'll off her if he thinks that would be a problem. I don't think he'd let her join either side, either."
He closed his eyes, and reached out with one arm, pointing. He touched a part of her arm that was badly damaged. "Here, here too.." His finger moved up into a section that didn't seem so bad. He looked at her with an arched brow. "There's an energy leak. Plus, I can feel the intact capacitors running here." He pointed to a section closer to her body that seemed undamaged.
He let his arm fall to his side. he shook his head, and sighed, "I will never understand you surface dwellers. Humans even less then the rest..."
-
"I'll never understand the humans, especially their labs. I had to watch some of my kind die slow and painfully because of cybernetic enhancements such as these. When their body rejected their cybernetic part. I'm the only one that survived." She looked down to her arm, scrutinizing it for a moment where the naga had pointed. "Unfortunately, I haven't been able to actually sit and evaluate how badly my arm is damaged... So I appreciate what you pointed out. The wolf I'm traveling with is supposed to have efficient tools for me to repair it. I just hope we don't get ambushed by morning. I'm 'broken,' I suppose you could say, and not really in any condition to fight. Though, I could resort to the black magic I know in desperate situations. It would be risky, however, since I can't control it fully."
-
Fe'shikz watched the naga, a bit nervously. He didn't think it was a threat... But why did he feel so anxious...? He caught himself shivering and drew his knife... What should he do...? He should probably kill it... But... He could get killed easily... That's what it felt like... He was downright scared and he had no idea why...
-
He shook his head. "Well, if you need a charge, let me know. We of the Deep have learned much of human technology, and can control the output of our bodies to match the requirements of some machines. I'm staying in this pond, If you'd like, I could set up a trap around the area. I was already thinking about it, given the battle nearby. Just make sure you and your companion doesn't get caught in it. It's rather deadly...." He stops, realizing that the child wasn't just the local wildlife. He mentally cursed his lack of sensing ability out of the water. He whispered, "...Was... there a third person in your party? A child or something? If not, we've got a small guest watching. A bit hard to sense in air because of the size..."
-
"well FINE....ignore meh....idiot...." flicks a rock and knocks the knife from fe'shikz's hand
-
"There's a small feline boy with us... But that's all that I know of," she replied taking a look around. She felt Fe'shikz's being close by. "Though I wouldn't call him a companion."
-
the two younger siblings run into the thickets then riku notices the girls arm,
"ummm, you need that fixed?" "GAH!!!...idiots.....why didnt they stay......."
-
I lay on my front in the den, paws crossed over eachother. I had sensed Fe'skikz leave a little while ago. Stupid boy, he will be killed, I thought.
I knew I needed to rest, I had not done so in a long time. But I couldn't, I sensed danger everywhere. I heard gunshots in the distance. I decided to collect tools and human food as supplies, and crept onto the battlefield, my skin and fur clear as water.
-
Fe'shikz stayed in the tree, shivering... He couldn't move... He... He was so scared... He felt like he was going to die... He tried to peek down at whoever was down there... He saw a snake person... A... naga? He continued to stare at the naga... It looked so familiar... Of course, he was still scared stiff... His curiousity just got the best of him...
-
"A bit of a loner, are we, Sawfish? Yeah, can't say I'm much different. I killed my mission partner a few weeks before I was sent inland. He was a few fish short of a shoal and had all the sense of a barnacle on a mainland bird, if you get what I'm saying. Didn't have much respect for any surface dwellers other then as delicacies either." He made an exasperated sound. "Yeah, he caused a multitude of trouble, but that's neither here nor there, is it?" He shrugged and asked, "So... Since I'm sure I can count you as willing, care to divulge any information about the area? Terrain information, settlement locations, Outsider activity hot-spots. You know, the important things..."
-
"I suppose you could say that. Someone could whack me over the head with a rock and steal my kidneys and nobody would care." she said rolling her eyes. "I know the winged black wolf is settling in a burrow not too far from here. The feline boy has been staying close to her, but I suppose he wants to be a little adventurous. He's going to get himself killed if he's not careful..." She looked a little ways beyond the trees where faint light flashed and weak sounds of gunshots echoed. Pointing, she said, "As far as enemy hot spot go, I suppose that's where most of the fighting is taking place. I haven't exactly got a chance to scout out the area as well as I'd like to."
She was interrupted by what looked like a human with feline ears. He asked her the famous line that everyone else had... "You need that fixed?" Again, she lowered her head slightly annoyed by the amount of times she'd been asked this. Though she appreciated the offers of help around her, she was very finicky and preferred that she herself fix her own problems. "No. I'm fine. I just need some tools."
-
He arched a brow at her comment, but said nothing. When she said she hadn't had the chance to scout well yet, he said, "Unfortunate..."
Sensing her aggravation with the child, he smiled for a brief second, then had a stern face... which was probably rather intimidating. He reached out and gave the child a warning jolt, a painful one, but undamaging. Something akin to being tagged with a cattle prod. "Quiet, clown fish. Adults are talking."
Edit: I hate typos. -_-
-
his anticipation lowered as she turned down the offer, "..oh...oki...." then he goes and sits in the tree again
-
Nyx sat on the edge of the river, her legs crossed. She was rather tired. She hadn't eaten or slept in days, and desperately wanted to, but always resisted her tiredness. Her stomach growled reminding her why she'd come to the river in the first place. To eat. As she sat forward, she looked into the water at the fish that swam about. "So," she said to the Naga shifting her wings as she waited for a good opportunity to snatch at one, "How long have you been out here?"
-
He grinned, saying, "Here.... Surface side? Too long for my taste. 5 days. I've been busy playing cartographer most of it." He thought about making it easy for her to get he fish by sending pulse through the water, but he decided he would wait and see how she fared on her own.
-
"Hmm. Sounds fun. I've only been gone from the labs for a little over two weeks now. I'm still finding almost everything as new." She stuck her hand into the water quickly snatching, but pulling up an empty hand. Looking up somewhat embarrassed by her inability to catch the fish, she waited and snatched again, this time pulling up a fish, but accidentally allowing it to squirm out of her grip. "Including hunting. I haven't eaten much since my escape." Slightly irate, she plunged her hand into the water for a third time and stabbed a fish on one of her claws and pulled it up. "But I suppose I can adapt. I was taught to fight -- Programmed really, though I am not a machine. Some sessions I was involved in, a new method of learning. Almost like brainwashing."
-
He couldn't help but laugh a little at her first attempts at catching a few fish. "I can help you with the fish real easy. Or if you'd rather, I could give some pointers. I know a thing or two about fishing. heh." He looked a little unfamiliar with her terminology, saying slowly, "...Programed? I... think I understand."
-
"I think I'd rather some pointers." She insisted, "I like to learn new things... And I'd rather do it myself because I'm hard-headed." Nyx blew a small flame from her mouth, cooking the fish on her claw then taking a bite out of it. "When I say programmed, I mean, they taught me how to do it through giving me information without me actually having to go through the motions of it."
-
"Oh. Ok. You were taught." He laughed again, knowing full well what she meant now. "Mental Conditioning, trained responses. things like that."
He settles down, nearly laying flat. "There are two ways of catching fish. the first, is the patient method." he stuck two arms in the water slowly, and kept them apart, but close enough to each other to close the distance fast. He remained motionless, then, as a fish swam close, he snatched it with both hands, and pulled it out of the water. he held it by the mouth. "See? this method also has less chance of scaring fish from the area, but takes a little longer and more practice to do successfully. Also, be careful of sharp finned fish, if you try to catch one like this, you're liable to get your hand grievously cut."
He put his other arms in the water again, then speared a fish with several claws at once, pulling it up as it bled out. "This, similar to what you tried earlier, works, but scares the fish with the scent of blood. Always impale with multiple claws. You were lucky, often times the fish can get away from a single impalement, only to bleed to death and die away from where you can retrieve it, thus, scaring even more fish from the area temporarily and robbing you of the fish you worked for. It typically doesn't work so well for larger fish though."
He shrugged, saying, "Well, that's the basics. most of the rest you probably won't need anyway." He offers her one of the two fish he just caught.
-
Nyx smiled and finished off her fish as she watched him expertly catch the fish with ease. "I think I'll stick to impalement. I can prove to be rather impatient at times." She took the fish that he offered and, once again, cooked it with ease. She ate it hastily... Being without food proved to be half the reason why she was weak. "I apologize; for my manners are lacking... I haven't eaten in a while, and I'm completely famished." Her gaze shifted to the second fish that he had caught, "Would you like me to cook that for you?"
-
((Yeah, you either didn't see or ignored my post when your char walked away from nyx's. he gave your char a shock and said something.))
He looked dismayed when she offered shaking his head. He just downed the fish whole. "No thanks. I prefer raw meat. ...cooked meats give me a stomachache."
-
"..!........" feels shock and ignores it, "..ummm oki?......."
-
Nyx once again watched in amazement. Never had she seen someone take in their meat whole. "Well, at least I feel a little better about my mannerisms now." she giggled.
(Discuss that stuff over PM. Unnecessary posts removed.)
-
((Sorry about that))
"Mhm... nothing like a tasty fish. I just had the Deer a few minutes ago, so I don't really have much need for any more food for a little while." He seemed rather lost when she spoke of manners, "What? For us, it is far more natural for us to eat our food whole. unless it's a whale or other superlarge animal then we tear off chunks or section it out. You.... do not consume food whole normally?"
-
Nyx shook her head a little confused. "I take my food one bite at a time." She smiled, a little wearily, since now that her stomach was full, she wanted to sleep. Though, she shunned the urge aside.
-
He looked at her in a confused manor again. "You have the looks of being full... You can't be, can you? have you already eaten more? perhaps one or two of those long eared mammals that I've seen hopping around? ...they do look tasty." He seemed genuinly confused about the little amount of food she ate.
((since he functions like a snake, he eats and thinks like one too. since he ate a deer, he probably won't eat much, if at all, for a week))
-
I returned from the battlefield, with a large scrap of material full of all sorts of weapons, tools and food. I hid these in the burrow, and came out again to look for the others. I saw something in the tree, and immediately flew up it. I relaxed, it was just Fe'shikz. But he looked scared. "Are you ok, Fe'shikz?"
-
"No, I'm full for the time being. I'll probably eat more later. My appetite wasn't too raucous this time 'round." She too was a little confused about the Naga's eating habits, but said nothing. After all, this was still a learning experience. She noticed the black winged wolf fly up into one of the trees above. Probably getting Fe'shikz.
-
Fe'shikz continued to watch the naga... It looked a bit familiar... Somehow, that made him feel even more scared... He... He wanted to kill that snake... He wanted it to go away... He... He suddenly felt homesick... He would be safe there... No stupid snakes there... Only him and his kin... He felt himself falling into melancholy... He didn't really care... Sadness was better than fear anyway...
-
Fe'shikz looked sad. Homesickness maybe? "Please come down soon. You will need to eat, and to recieve your weapons. You must be prepared."
-
Saphir walked off, following a rabbit trail. Finding it, she pounced and munched it hungrily. "Ahhh....." After finishing it she looked around. Her eyes widened in shock. It can't...it shouldn't be... She was on a battlefield with blood everywhere. The bodies hanging from the surrounding trees made her sick.. She looked down and yelped: there was a man ripped in half still breathing beneath her feet. She got off in a hurry and propped him up. "What the---?" She asked.
"Enola... eno on..." The man dropped his head, dead.
Not this time... Saphir thought, covering her mouth. She put the man down and gulped down the rest of the rabbit. Thinking on hr situation a minute she reached the conclusion that most of the humans had died. The few furries she saw were the Medallions. Howling, she turned her head away and tears exploded from her eyes. I forgot what war was like..I forgot how many times you can cheat Death before he sends The Reaper...an assassin of the highest...eww...I'm so sorry brother... She got to her feet and shakily stumbled to the stream next to it. Dropping to her knees, she drank the red-tinted water and ran her fingers through her slimy fur. The blood was caked on. Her ribs seared in pain. "Ohhh....." She made a painful grimace, clutching her sides. Fresh blood was seeping from her wounds...
-
He nodded quickly and drifted back to his thoughts... He missed his home... He... didn't care about that before, but that stupid naga... It reminded him... He had met that naga before... Back home... He wanted to kill him... To kill that naga... If only he had some swords or something...
-
I jumped and spread my wings in mid air, letting myself float down. Entering the den, I walked over to the weapons. I didn't know much about them, names or otherwise. I used claws for defence - I wasn't a soldier. I scanned over them, and took a few grendades, an old looking rifle and a dagger that I had found at the bottom of the pile. I then picked up some food, and bundled the food into a scrap of the material, tieing it around my waist. I wrapped a piece of long material round my shoulder and back, and put the gun in it. The dagger and grenades were put into my bundle. It didn't seem safe, but it would do.
((OOC: Ok, what was with the 'sflamingbagofdogdoo' instead of scrap?))
-
She screamed wordlessly and fell asleep, dreaming of her family...
"Saphir? That you?" Her brother asked, slipping out his dagger. "Yea silly. Where's father?" "With the horses...Where have YOU been?" He smiled, hugging her. "Out in the pastures with the others...they say its true..father and mother really don't love me..they say its true i was never born here and that i don't belong...oh graham. it isn't true is it? it can't be.." Her brother looked sad and she immeadiately knew it was. "Why?" She shivered, breaking away from him and glaring angrily, tears streaming down her face. "Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded. He tried to hug her again but Saphir stepped out of reach. "Why didn't you mention that was why we don't look the same, why mother and father don't look like me, WHY?!!" She yelled, laying on the ground and crying harder. "Why?"
-
Fe'shikz was sitting in his tree, still homesick... He sighed and climbed down, as his stomach was growling at him. He tried not to look at the naga, because he knew that he would probably snap... He wandered over to Oru' and heard his stomach growl again. He just stared at the ground, looking a little bit embarrassed... He didn't want to intrude on anything, since she was obviously getting ready for something... Probably battle... He realized inside him that he wasn't very armored... Maybe he should get some new clothes...
-
I sensed something behind me, and spun round, claws ready for attack. I relaxed when I saw that it was just Fe'shikz. "Fe'shikz, come and choose weapons and food. You will need them."
I check around myself, making sure that I hadn't forgotten anything important. Confident in the knowlege that I hadn't, I secured my bundles, and went outside, carefully planning my moves.
-
Nyx diverted her attention to the two she had been originally traveling with. quickly, she swiped a few fat fish and used the cloth she had made a sling of to tie them in with a little help from her tail. She picked up the cloth with her tail and headed to the burrow to give the food to others. "Hope you like fish." She said lowly as she passed the winged wolf, sensing the feline kid in the den. She sat down by the entrance, placing the fish beside her.
-
He hesitated, then decided to follow Nyx. Reaching the camp, he arched one scalie brow, looking at Buiolupo. He didn't even sense the child under the ground, the ground shielding the boy's electro magnetic field completely from The Naga.
-
I accepted the fish, and added it to my bundle. Some kind of creature was with Nyx. I didn't know what it was, but tried not to stare. "Um, thanks Nyx, and who is this you've brought with you?" I didn't know whether to talk to it, not sure if it would even understand me.
-
"I'm not sure of his name, as he as not told me yet... But he is on our side of fighting," She turned and nodded to him, Isn't that right?"
-
"In a manner of speaking, yes. I fight for the Deep. Your goals and mine merely align." He gave a nod, continuing, "My name... is probably beyond your capacity to understand or hear, but the surface counterpart Would Be Remmiith. Remmiith Donnor." When he said his name he rolled the r's and reverberated the m's slightly.
-
After passing Olhal and looking at him for a second, she continued on through the forest. She could hear the sounds of a battle in the distance but she wasn't heading towards it. She didn't feel like fighting right now. She was pretty tired of it actually. Trudging through the trees, she sighed and looked around so she wouldn't be taken by surprise if anyone showed up because she'd be paying attention.
-
Olhal noticed Shana, a little too late, as she was walking away. He decided he might as well follow her; he was hopelessly lost anyway. After a moment, he called out, "Where you headed?" and came closer; he decided to follow her, if only then he wouldn't be hopelessly lost.
Fyroh sighed, leaning against a tree. He wondered where Saphir had gone. He pulled out his radio, and attempted a transmission; a loud screeching coming from it, then a spark, showed that it was broken. With a long string of curses, he threw the useless thing against a tree, and held his rifle, walking through the forest; hoping not to encounter any rebels.
-
"i'll be back you guys..." he said as he got up and left the tent "uhh.....wat time is it...." "oki..."
xenon continued walking into the forest while riku and seth were sleeping
-
"I'm not sure of his name, as he as not told me yet... But he is on our side of fighting," She turned and nodded to him, Isn't that right?"
I was slightly doubtful of the creature - not sure whether to be trusting. I never was. "Ok..." I said, simply. I was ready to go on, to find more supplies - and, more importantly, to find out what these alien creatures were.
-
She turned her head to the side wen she heard Olhal speak. "Well, all I know is that I'm headed away from that battlefield." She nodded her head in the direction of the sound of gunshots. "I don't care where I'm going as long as I avoid fighting for a while. I'm tired of this war." She turned her head to look forward again as she walked.
-
"Ugh, tell me about it." Olhal muttered. "I'm only in on it for the pay. Best friends brother, sickness, all that, I'm trying to help cure him. Oh, and the fact that I was bound to get caught up in it eventually... It doesn't help that the rebels have thrust the responsibility of a traitor onto me. I'm suprised he didn't kill me. Worst part is, me friend has a thing for her, so..." He suddenly realised he was probably being incredibly boring, and stopped talking. He quickly created a fireball in his hand, for warmth and light.
-
She listened intently to what he said. It was nice to talk to someone since she hadn't had a decent conversation in what seemed like forever. She saw a flash of the firelight and flinched slightly, but relaxed when she realized that he was one of those people who could control an element that she'd heard about. "That's an understandable reason for being in this war. I was basically pushed into it. I didn't want to fight but my parents guilt-tripped me into it. They used the fact that my brother had fought in the war between the humans and furries and had died protecting me, so I should honor him by fighting. Fact is, he wouldn't want me in this war." She looked down at the ground sadly for a second as she walked, then lifted her head. "A traitor? Oh yes, the Naga spoke of a traitor. I saw him talking with you and I thought he would've killed you. I was surprised when he didn't but relieved too. Since he was the one who minced those soldiers, I thought he might do so to you too." She glanced back at him then forward again. "Yeah, any good kind of relationship in a war isn't exactly safe. Companionships can be killers." She scratched her head, and felt like she had really said too much or had said something he wouldn't like. She kicked a small rock out of her foot's path as she walked on.
-
Olhal breathed through his teeth. "Ouch, thats harsh. My mother died of natural causes... and I don't know, but I think I may have killled my father during war-like combat. Hopefully not..." He sighed. "I don't know what I'd do if my parents did that to me. And yeah, I'm glad he didn't kill me as well... obviously." He chuckled. "Ah, but I was suprised at how he left me like that. For a moment, I was seriously worried that he really WAS going to kill me... and you know what? I don't trust that traitor one bit. Sure, she can go all gooey, but I bet she's just using Fyroh... and then, they'll both convert to either rebels, or worse..." He sighed. "I'd rather not think about it. He's such a fool for love... been used so many times. It's strange, cus I'm actually worried that his brother is asexual... and get this. Fyroh is furry, and his brother is human... they're SO different." He sighed. "Ah, if only this bloody war could be over and done with soon. Then again, it aidn't gonna be over until we wipe out those aliens, and we have to fight to achieve that... Nowhere is safe any more." He sighed. A gentle conversation was relaxing; and he needed to relax after the near-death situation.
-
She made an unsure face, not that he could see it anyway. "Yeah, you definately wouldn't like that guilt-trip thing. It is harsh and horrible." She looked down again but quickly looked back up. She chuckled. "Well, I think anyone would be happy if they weren't killed. I wouldn't trust the traitor either. She is a traitor after all. Yeah, I think you're right. She might just be using your friend but, who knows? She is capable of feeling so she might really like him. Wow...I've never heard of a mixed family before." She sighed. "I know. I just don't like having to fight when I didn't join willingly in the first place." It was weird for her to think back on what her parents did and to think about her brother's death. She had been right there when it happened. He had protected her. She had always blamed herself and she still did. Holding him as he had died, she had cried her heart out. She could remember his last words perfectly. "I'll always be protecting you. Don't forget..." She whispered to herself. She looked down at the ground as she walked and kicked another rock.
-
"Yeah... curses and whatnot. Of course it's not natural, I would have given Fyrohs mother VERY strange looks if she gave birth to a furry, even though she's human." He laughed. "I'm worried, either way. A traitor is a traitor... and let me tell you, I really feel sorry for you about what your parents did to you. I'd tell them that they aren't worthy parents any more, if I were you... then again, I'm just harsh like that to people most of the time." He sighed. He looked at her, and noticed her sad face; so he decided to stop talking, and let her think. He brightened the flame he was holding as they walked on... forgetting that he could well be attracting the enemy.
-
Her mind was racing and she didn't like it. She hadn't thought about these for a while and her mind hadn't raced like this in a long time. She wasn't used to having time to think. She sighed. "Ah, I see. Yeah...they haven't treated me the same since my brother's death. He was always their favorite out of the two of us and I think they blame me for his death and hate me for it. Although, I can't really blame them...I hate and blame myself for it too. I just miss him so much. He was my best friend." She frowned and looked up towards the sky as she continued onward.
-
He sighed. "Favourtism sucks..." he muttered. "It must be so hard. I'm sorry that this happened to you." he said awkwardly, not knowing what to say or do. Suddenly, he heard gunshot in the distance, and lowered the intensity of his flame, to just a little bigger than a matchflame. "There's fighting there... we should avoid it. I reckon we should get back to camp... if only I knew where I was..." He sighed. "Burnt my map."
-
She sighed as well. "It is hard...I try not to think about it but sometimes I can't stop it." She sniffled a little and then directed her attention away from the sky when she heard the gunshot. She rubbed her eyes and scratched her nose. "Yeah, umm...I believe camp's this way." She pointed in the direction away from the gunshots and then headed in the direction she had just pointed in. She chuckled a little, thinking about the last part of what she said. She really did need to laugh more; it took her mind away from her thoughts of hate, blame, and sadness. She shook her head, trying to clear her bad thoughts and stop herself from crying any more than she just had without him knowing.

I stumbled around the battlefield, my left shoulder badly wounded. My vision was blurred, and I could barely dodge the passing bullets. But nobody would notice me anyway in this damned war. I took a few steps and collapsed, right in front of a soldier. He went to pick me up, maybe to kill, maybe to save me. I growled. Despite my small size, I was a fighter. I extracted my claws and began tearing at his flesh, until most of his body had been savaged, and he collapsed, dead. It took up all my strength to destroy him. I collapsed, my body upon his.
-
SAphir woke and wiped her eyes, throat useless from her long scream. She struggled to her feet as the steel-like blood she had coursing through her veins kicked in. Silently stumbling away from the river back in the directio she had run, she saw Fyroh a few meters ahead and stopped short; she was pretty sure it was either an illusion or a trap the others had set for her. After all, she WAS a traitor by all means of the word and definition. She sighed. "Again I walk this lonely road, the only one i knowe. And it pains me to watch them walk away but I know its better this way." She sang softly, moving closer. "I was throw out of my home a long while ago with just my wits and a small dagger to learn to stick up for myself and the weak. I shown up never again and that's how the story ends. Oh, why didn't I ever return, you ask? I never belonged anywhere, alwaya a loner with which there were no waiting, bright faces with, warm, welcomingly open arms. I can fend for myself just fine and I can do without your pity." She sang, sitting a meter from him on a tree branch.
"What a life it is that I, the daughter of a lonely pheasant, must walk in his shoes for all eternity. What a killer." She scoffed. Her eyes turned dark and icy as she reached out to gently prod him. "Hey. I'm back."
-
Fyroh had stopped as soon as he'd heard the singing; not daring to look around. He did turn as she finished, though. "Saphir..." he breathed. He didn't know what to say, or do. He stood there, for several minutes, just staring into her eyes... and doing little else. Eventually, he managed to say, "I miss you."
Olhal smiled. "You sure? Well, anywhere is better than there." He walked along with her, somewhat doubting that it was the way, but kept his trust in her. Suddenly, he heard a footstep; not wasting any time, he reached for his belt and pulled out one of his M11s. He paused; and then heard Fyroh. He quickly ducked; and motioned for Shana to do the same. Slowly and silently, he crept towards where Fyroh and Saphir were; making sure not to reveal himself, and put out his flame. He didn't risk looking, only listening.
Fyroh hadn't noticed anything.
-
Saphir smiled then it quickly changed to a frown. "Your 'friend' is over there." She replied, pointing behind her. "And I missed you too." She sighed heavily and hugged him gently, wishing she hadn't interfered or revealed anything about herself. Her ears picked up a few thumps and she whipped her head in the direction of the battlefield she had jst come from. Letting go of Fyroh and ducking, she whisled a high, irritating tone. 'The winds blow from the direction of the sun and moons rising as the world falls into chaos.' 'And we stand together forever, even though we know our time has come.' came the reply. She frowned deeper and tapped Fyroh's leg. "Someone's here...REbel. And they're ticked."
-
Fyroh got a firmer grip on his rifle; ready to attack.
"Drat." Olhal muttered, when he realised his cover had been blown; not wasting a second, he jumped by Fyroh's side, stood behind Fyroh's back in case the attacker was behind them, and took out both of his M11s, with flaming fists; he considered setting his head on fire, but that didn't help his eyesight when he did that.
-
"1. I'm a wolf retard. 2. They're in front of me and on Fyroh's left. Male. Five to six foot in height, 120-150 pounds. Heavy set. Looking for help. Badly scratched arms, slaughtered back, bones showing and his face is torn from left eye to right cheek diagnally. Put the guns down. He sn't armed and he's losing blood fast." She finished, listening intently for more noise. When she heard a third thunmp she ran off more information.
"Right leg is broken, favors left. His armor is gone- too heavy. He's trying to carry a girl. She's foru, maybe four five. 100 pounds, slightly scrathed, scar on left cheek, down her leg, on her right hand there are several bones showing. Mostly broken or shattered right arm. Almost dead." She looked even harder and saw the man approaching. "Hunched over the girl to protect her better, brown hair...green eyes, full of pain and suffering. And-- he's not a human...looks it, but hes a--" She stopped for a second as a cold rock dropped into her stomach and cool realization played across her face. "A wolf. Half-half. Again, put. The. Guns. Down."
-
Fyroh obeyed her the first time she asked, but Olhal only lowered his guns slightly, even after asking twice; he didn't trust Saphir. Both of them looked to the rebels that were being described. Olhal continued to keep a firm grip on the guns.
-
She had shrugged when Olhal asked if she was sure. She wasn't. But they could always set up a new camp if they had to. Her ears twitched at the sound of footstep and she ducked as Olhal told her to and followed him. When it was said that he was there and he went out to the others (Fyroh & Saphir), she stayed where she was and listened to them intently. She could tell by the way Olhal was acting that he obviously didn't trust the girl. Must be the traitor. She thought to herself. Actions always spoke louder than words and him not dropping his weapons was speaking very loudly. She kind of chuckled. He was an interesting human. She put her hands on her twin sai, just in case.

((Hi Erin ;-]))
I was barely out of the small forest when I came across a dead soldier, and what seemed like a dead cat on top of him. The soldier, I knew, was definetly dead, and I was pleased. But the cat, it seemed alive - barely. I bent down on it and checked it's pulse - it was ok. And I discovered that it was not a cat that I was looking at, but an Egyptian Lynx. A small one, at that. I picked it up and took it to the den. I had no time to play nurse. I threw a piece of old cloth over it, and left it on it's own.
-
Saphir crouched down and slipped across to them. Taking the girl, she exchanged a few words with the man before he released the child and leaned heavily on her. She was smiling and petting the gril's head, her right arm wrapped around his waist. "It's alright. I've got you now Young One. You're gonna be fine. I promise." She looked at the man and gently lifted him as well, balancing them both in her arms; she staggered to Fyroh and set them down. "So this-" She pointed to the man, "is Grim. And this-" Now the girl. "is Seline. They're both without family now." She opened her first aid kit and started working.
-
Fyroh sighed. "Really? Ouch... poor things. War is terrible... if only there were a better way to earn money..."
Olhal caught Fyroh's eye. "Fyroh..." he muttered. He leant closer, and whispered something to Fyroh for a few moments. Fyroh didn't seem happy with what he was hearing. Olhal, after a few moments of whispering, took a step back. "See what I mean?"
"Shut it, Olhal." Fyroh replied.
Olhal didn't look ready to give up. "Are you SERIOUS?! We've known each other for years, and-"
"I said shut up!!" Fyroh hissed, and delivered a punch straight to the side of Olhals face; who fell to the ground, not expecting it. Olhal didn't retaliate. "Right. If that's the way things are, you don't need me anymore. Have fun." he muttered. As he walked off, he walked past the bush Shana was hiding behind. He suddenly turned. "Go on, turn to the rebels, Fyroh! I don't give a **** what happens to your brother anymore!!" He punched the air, sending a fist-sized fireball at Fyroh. Luckily, Fyroh managed to dodge it, and it vanished before it hit anything else. Olhal seethed with fury and set off down the path.
-
"Not going to dwell on what came out of your mouth. Though I cannot blame either of you for thinking of me as you do." She replied to Fyroh destractedly as she helped Seline lay down with her body under hers and Grim's. "Sleep tight."
-
"Ugh. Olhal is convinced that you're a traitor, and you're using me." he muttered. "Idiot. If he's going to be like that, I can do without him on my side... but what he said about my brother; wait. Without Olhal, I probably won't be able to cure Vlaardi... oh, no." He stopped; and stared up into the sky. "Ohh, no."
-
"Where. Is. Vlaardi?" She looked around, ears back, head snapped at attention.
-
"In a hospital." Fyroh muttered. "Poor lad. Strange sickness, costs aplenty to cure... so I roped myself into the army to help cure him." He sighed. "Olhal knew I was going in, and told me that he'd go with me. He doesn't like seeing me go places alone, he insists that I always mess up if I'm alone... so he joined alongside me." He muttered something under his breath. "Now, he doesn't care."
-
She cocked her head and quickly slipped out from under Grim and Seline. Leaving two small, cushiony piles of leaves in her place, she crawled on her stomach over to where the noise was coming from, curious. "It's a high-pitched scream of some kind." She muttered, moving a few leaves out of her face.

I awoke in a den my shoulder throbbing, there was blood on my paws, the last thing I could remember was killing the human solider the rest was blank. I was weak so I couldn't move to see were I was when I tried to move my shoulder throbbed painfully like It was trying to prevent me from moving so I gave up and passed out.

{wow. hurt yourself huh? nice entrance erin.}
I hope your not being sarcastic
-
{no not at all. sorry if it seemed that way. i think your entrance was excelent.}
Saphir's eyes widened as she continued to watch. What the ****?
-
She watched the fight and cringed when Olhal was punched. She wanted to march right out and give Fyroh a swift kick in the gut but decided against it. She moved to the side some to make sure she wasn't hit when Olhal sent the fireball, an atomatic reaction. She breathed through her teeth some. Kind of harsh... She thought to herself, then turned and set off after Olhal. "Olhal! Olhal, wait up!" She half-yelled, half-whispered, not wanting to attract unwanted attention.
-
Olhal didn't recognise the voice at first; within an instant he'd drawn his M11s, and set a flame so he could see, but holstered the guns when he recognised her. "Ah. Sorry about that back there... I can't believe he could do that to me after what I've done for him..." He sighed, and rubbed his head. "Ouch. He didn't miss there... how could I let my guard down like that? Eh, can't trust anyone these days..." He stared at the ground. "Oh, I believe I haven't asked your name yet... may I?"
-
She had stopped in her tracks when he'd drawn his M11s, but continued to walk up to him when he had recognized her. She reached him right before he finished speaking. "No need to be sorry. I can't believe he punched you." She reached up and grabbed his chin gently, turning his head slightly and examining where he was punched. "Oh yeah, he really got you there. I was going to march straight out there and give him a kick in the gut but I thought better of it." She let go of his chin, letting her arm fall to her side, and smiled. "My name's Shana."
-
Saphir got bored of watching the strange creature and so she turned around, cuttling back over to Fyroh. "That wasn't very gentleman like of you to punch your friend. Or an ally of yours. You need all you can get." She uttered in a voice barely audible.
-
Fyroh scowled. "You would have done worse to him if you heard what he was saying about you. He's obsessed with the idea that you're a traitor and are either going to use or backstab me..." He muttered something vulgar under his breath.
Olhal sighed. "I guess I did pull a few emotional strings of his, but by no means did he have to smack me like that." He smiled. "Well, I'm glad you were considering it. He deserves more than just a kick, I can tell you... but, what am I going to do now? I joined for his sake..." He paused. "Shana? Ah, lovely name. I know you already know this, but my name is Olhal-" He cut himself off for some reason. "Well, what are we to do now?..."
-
{wow. hurt yourself huh? nice entrance erin.}
I hope your not being sarcastic
((Gawd Erin, I think you need to come down to my house. You need a little bit of guidance in the boards - for a start, if you're talking to someone, type OOC: (out of character) or ((-text-)) so that people know that it's not part of the rp. ;]))
-
Saphir shrugged. "I get it all the time. Doesn't bother me but apperently it does you. I'll keep away from such a touchy subject. So he's an ally of your brother and you? And what did he say exactly about me- besides the traitor part." She looked at the ground, studying it to keep him from seeing any recognizable emotions that flickered across her face.
-
Fyroh sighed. "Well, he called you a ***** several times. Also, he thinks you're scum, just trying to suck up to everyone to get your own way; and wanting to switch sides to the alien race in which we're trying to fight off, and if not them, you'll become a 'dirty Rebel'. Thats about it. But, I trust you... you wouldn't leave me like that, would you?..." he asked, also turning away as to hide the doubt on his face.
-
"I feel you doubt me but I can understand it. Yes, I am sensitive to people's feelings so it takes me a while to escape my remorse for all the dead. And I am deeply sorry your friend does not like me. He did? Well, I can't say I blame him. After all, I am a traitor." She explained, looking up finally after a few minutes of uncomfortable silence.
-
Fyroh looked at her. "Are... are you saying that you ARE going to join another side?..." he asked, pain in his voice. "Please... I don't want it to be true..." he thought, circling the phrase through his head.
-
"I might not. If I do, I'd want you to join. They seem much more respectful of me than the humans so..."
"SORA SAPHIR FALLEN!! YOU WILL STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!! I DID RESPECT YOU!!" A six foot four human shouted, bluring over and slapping her loudly. Her long, dark brown hair was falling loosely around her face. Her blue green eyes blazed with angry worry. The black tee she wore clashed with her pale face and her dark blue jeans. Black nails, black tennis shoes, one peircing on her lip, another in her right ear, two in her left and a tattoo on her back of a dragon conflicted with Saphir.
Saphir flinched. "Hello Artemas. Nice to see you again. I think you just killed my ears. Thanks." She said with a sloppy, lovable grin.
"Pain in tha ***. I should kill you right now but I need you. And where's this Olhal you mentioned earlier, hmm?" Her eyes sparkled and she grinned apologetically.
-
Fyroh growled. "You're forgetting who I really am, Saphir, I'm not killing my own kind for nothing. I'm here to defend Earth from the invaders, and also to raise money to cure my brother... I'm not here to fight any stupid battles when we really all should work together to drive out the invaders. If we all united, we'd defeat the aliens easily, but the Rebels are NOT helping. And besides, after Vlaardi's cured, I'm outta here." he muttered. "Olhal went off that way." he added, waving an arm to the dark stone path which Olhal had left on.
-
Rem had been staring off into the distance for a bit, a foreboding feeling coming over him. He looked at Nyx, saying, "I've got a bad feeling....wait, maybe I just need to unwind a tad.." He stretched, and released some electricity as he did so. it arced from arm to arm violently, striking the ground and a nearby tree a couple of times. "Yeah, That's better. But somethings still amiss... Do you smell blood? I think I do, but my sense of smell doesn't do much up here."
-
Artemas nodded, giving Fyroh a light pat under the chin before disappearing in the direction he had pointed. Hmm...I wonder if he's as Saphir described him...
Saphir shook her head from side to side. "No I haven't. I just wish we could unite too- but...There's the whole fact everyone believes I'm a traitor when I'm just survivng." She shivered lightly, unnoticably, trailing her fingers across her cheek where Artemas had slapped her.
-
Fyroh nodded. "I see..." He couldn't think of much better to say than that. "Well, you've got me now..." He reached a hand for his sword to check it was still there. "Never could give up swordplay, not since I've devoted my whole life to it so far." he said, and, seeing his sword was there securely, he put his hands by his sides casually again.
-
Olhal sighed.
She smiled again. "Thank you." She paused for a second, thinking. "Well, I don't know what you're going to do about not being with your friend when you joined for him but-" Her ears twitched. She turned her head, looking back down the path from where they came, then looked back at him. "I believe we should get moving. I think we're being followed. We've got to find the camp or at least get out of this area and make our own."
-
He blinked. "****, lets get a move on... you're a furry, your senses are likely better than mine." Without wasting a second, he drew his M11s for protection and began running down the road, without a flame, as not to attract any attention.
-
She nodded and began running down the road with Olhal, keeping the same pace as him. Even though she could run much faster, she wasn't going to leave him behind her to fend for himself, although he seemed quite capable of doing so. Her steps were very light and she wasn't making much noise at all. She kept her eyes peeled in case there were obstacles in the road that they had to avoid and listened intently to the sounds around her so she would be warned if the follower started to catch up.
-
She heard them speed up a little ahead of her but she continued at a leasurely pace. "If they figure out I'm not chasing them, maybe they'll stop. One of 'em's tired anyway." She muttered to herself, taking in the beautiful scenery as she continued to follow them.
She frowned. "Got you? How?" Saphir was cofused and tried not to show it, failing miserably.
-
((could someone find me at some point, I'm starting to feel like a loner...oh yea....and I'll be controlling the soldier...um....read on if you don't get what I'm talking about =[))
I wandered back onto the battlefield. I wasn't sure what I was meant to do anymore. All I had been doing since the war had started was wander around, trying to survive, trying to destory the soldiers. But I knew what I was looking for - the aliens. Their wonderful armour, covering them from heasd to toe. Nobody ever saw what they looked like, all you could see was thick black armour. But they knew they were huge. I wanted - needed - that armour. It was indestructible, it would protect it's wearer from any kind of weapon - one of the reasons that our planet was loosing this war.
I explored the blood stained ground, narrowly avoiding flying bullets, or lasers from the aliens - vapourising everything in its path. Luckily, none of them were aiming for me - nobody noticed my clear skin and fur - or the apparently floating material bags strapped around me. Eventually though, I found my prize. A huge beast - one of the aliens - clutching a slowly strangling soldier in its claws. It was screaming. Thinking it was human, I sat watching it for a moment, smilling, but then I saw a slender tail swing below it - and realised it was a fur.
Shocked, I sprung into action. These creatures would not kill my kind - and I wanted it's armour. I slashed against its armour - not harming it, but shocking it into letting the furry go. "Run, hide!" I hissed at it, trying to escape flying claws, aiming at my head. The scare made my skin and fur return to its normal colour, and I was fully visible.
Theo landed on the ground, scrabbling for dear life. The fur who had saved him - a small wolf - was fighting off the alien. He didn't know what to do - too scared to fight, too worried to run. Instead, he hid behind a rock, flinching at every blow aimed at the wolf. He was such a coward...he shouldn't be here. But he had valuble contacts, valuble contacts who wanted him to fight....
He grabbed his pistol and - while only using one hand - fired it randomly, trying to help. The force of the bullet being forced out of the pistol shook his hand - hard. The pain hit him after a second, and he yelped in pain, grabbing his wrist and dropping the pistol.
-
Fyroh laughed. "I mean, I'm here for you now. I'm not going to just let you wander off and die, am I?"
Olhal looked to Shana, then behind him, then back to Shana. He couldn't see anyone behind him, but it was dark... "Shana, are you sure they're following us? They could just be another soldier... I guess it's not worth the risk." He didn't slow down, but his head was starting to ache.
-
Artemas felt a shadow seeping in behind her and shivered voilently, speeding up. Not noticing Olhal or the wolf/fox {sorry vee} next to him, she ran tright past them, shaking and falling a few meters ahead. She groaned, still feeling the shadow behind her. "Oww...My head."
Saphir smiled in understanding and nodded up and down. "I don't believe you will. Ow, that hurt." She rubbed her cheek and tears brimmed in the corners of her eyes. She fought them back so they just lingered there.
-
She looked over at him. "Yeah, I'm-" The follower ran past them and fell to the ground a few meters ahead. Hearing this, she looked in front of her and, upon seeing the follower, she stopped in her tracks and finished her sentence, her voice trailing off. "-sure..." She just stared at the figure a short ways in front of her on the ground.
-
Rem had been staring off into the distance for a bit, a foreboding feeling coming over him.
Nyx nodded. She did smell blood. There was carnage just beyond the hill that they were standing at the bottom of. "You're right. There are humans and furs alike fighting up there." She pointed to the top of the hill.
-
((I'm so lonely...))
I heard the fur screaming and shouting - he was in pain. I was also in pain - a gun had been fired and taken off part of her ear, after bouncing off the alien's armour. I wanted to grab it, and try and sooth the pain, but the alien now had me in it's grasp - crushing me as it had also done with the soldier. He had ran off now - the coward. That's why I tried not to help. I saw everyone as traitors and cowards.
He heard a yelp like his, and theo instantly knew that he had hit the wolf. He was such a failure - he had always told them not to send him away to war...Theo began to drag himself away from the wolf - there was nothing he could do now....
-
((....atleast people arent ingnoring YOUR posts...........)) :'( :th_PyongLlora: :sniffle:
-
{seth, train yourself to continue posting until you run into someone..it'll work out.}
-
Olhal stopped abruptly, literally skidding to a halt, also staring at the figure in front of him. "Whuh- Who are you?!" he demanded, aiming his gun at them. He lit a flame, which perched upon his shoulder; allowing him to see the person.
Fyroh paused. "Are you alright?... I can't actually do anything to help the wound. I've used all of my medical supplies... Oh, and who WAS that girl?"
-
In a rash decision , he decided to join the fight atop the hill. "I'm going up there, Nyx. There might be some Aliens to fry. We Sissiro have found their weak point, that's how we drove them from the oceans. They couldn't afford the losses. We think they came here expecting solid shell weapons. That's why their armor is so resilient to physical impacts. But it's some sort of exotic metal, so it conducts really well, and they forgot to insulate it... It doesn't have a high heat tolerance either... though if you can keep wailing on them hard enough, they're pretty fragile inside those 'exosuits' and can actually keel over without you even cracking that armor. Believe me, we've tested that one. You might want to stay and fix that arm of yours before you go though." He smirked and started slithering up the hill. He began thinking about that soldier he had allowed to live. 'Maybe... I should have told him about their weaknesses....nah. He'll figure it out sooner or later.'
-
She shrugged. "Her name's Artemas. My sister." She smirked, scratching under his chin playfully.
Artemas got to her knees, spitting dirt out of her mouth. "Question is, who are you?" She spat another mouthful out and blushed. She hated being seen doing a faceplant, it was embarrassing!
-
Olhal almost laughed, but stopped himself. "That doesn't matter; hmm... yeah, I guess I can afford to trust another human." He offered a hand to help her up. "I'm Olhal... and you are?"
-
((but i dont know ho--wait...i'll figure out..dont help meh i kinda actuallie LIKE challenges)) :P
-
{alright I won't. But a pointer, if you want it}
"Artemas. Nice to meet you Olhal." She grinned, taking his hand and flowing gracefully to her feet. She blushed, looking down at the ground. "I had a feeling SAphir would do this to me...D*** you Saphir." She muttered under her breath.
-
((....mmmmnaaaah....ill figure it out...but thanks))
-
She stood there and just watched the meeting. She was only going to speak if she was spoken to. Plus, she wasn't sure if she could trust Artemas if she was of relation to the traitor. Her eyes moved to look from one to the other as she stood there observing.
-
Noticing the other fur, Artemas smiled. "What's your name quiet one?"
-
Olhal could sense Shanas disturbance; and quickly averted his gaze to meet Shana's face; he was right. Hoping that Artemas wouldn't notice, he tapped Shana with his foot and made a quick hand movement to his other hand, still upon his gun, to show he was still prepared; then looked back to Artemas. "Why are you here? We're heading back to camp." He wasn't quite sure if this was a soldier he could trust, and had no intentions of going the right way to camp if she followed.
-
"Shana. My name's Shana." She responded to Artemas. When her foot was tapped by Olhal, she looked at him out of the corner of her eye quickly and saw his motion to show that his hand was still on his gun. She then turned her head as if she was looking behind them in case anyone else was coming which disguised that she was actually being communicated with silently by Olhal, and she made a slight nod as she looked around. Then she looked back at Artemas and waited for her answer to Olhal's question.
-
"To meet someone. A friend said I'd find them here but I guess I'll have to go on. Continue on your way. I'm sincerely sorry I interruted you." She smiled and turned away from them. "Olhal? Nah..She's pulling my leg." She commented loudly.
-
Olhal heard her easily. "My names Olhal... if you're looking for me." He didn't bother hiding it this time; he pulled out his gun. Having someone look for you that you've never met before is never a good sign, and he held it, ready to fire at her if necessary. "Fire wielder, pyromaniac, squire, assassin, and professional backstabber; I've done that one too many times." He didn't even smile. "Am I who you're looking for or not?"
-
She turned around with a look of innocent confusion. "I'm not sure. A girl that I know, Saphir, said I'd find someone like you with your name out here so I took her advise, wandered around here to see if I'd run into him..."
-
Olhal breathed through his teeth. "Hmm. Saphir... Yeah." He lowered his gun slightly, then suddenly raised it again. "Wait, she's the traitor!! What business do you have with her, or me? If it's an assassination, come on and try it!!" He had every intention to pull the trigger.
-
She looked from one to the other, just waiting for something to happen. Obviously Olhal wasn't anyone to mess with and this made her glad that she was on his side. She moved her hands, placing one on each of her sai. She was going to be ready, even though this one didn't seem like she would hurt them. You could never be too careful especially when dealing with ones associated with traitors.
-
She threw up her hands defensively. "Man, she was right. Definite Gremtahn. I'm her sister. Well, adopted more specific. Why do you call her as traitor?" She was beginning to understand why SAphir said not to come. The people here were nuts.
-
Olhal almost shot her, but restrained himself. "Well, after telling my friend Fyroh that she hated all humans, and that she wanted to join the alien side, what else am I supposed to call her?! I'm not in the mood for your games, now, girl!!" He practically spat, his spare hand bursting with the flames of his rage.
-
She backed off and replied loudly, "Jeez, Saphy was right. You people ARE nuts." She turned back ahead and trotted away, leasurely enjoying the scenery she went through.
-
Her grip on her sai tightened and she cursed under her breath. Nuts? More like smart and careful. She thought to herself. This girl was really starting to make Olhal mad and that was very obvious. She herself was getting frustrated with this. She smiled as Artemas trotted off. She wasn't worth their time or their frustration.
-
Olhal had the same thoughts as Shana. "Nuts, perhaps, but you can't trust anyone these days, especially not a traitors friend." he muttered. "Sheesh. I wonder why she wanted me in the first place?... Ah well. C'mon... might as well go this way." He pointed to a small opening of the trees; hopefully there would be somewhere to rest for the night.
-
Artemas sighed sadly and made a quick right. Circling back around, she passed them and found SAphir. "He's...I dunno..."
-
Fyroh sighed. "He's probably a lil tense right now. I did just smack him in the face... I feel kinda guilty, now... though he deserved it, I basically betrayed him." He looked to the ground. "But, he asked for it."
-
She chuckled at the fact that they had been thinking the same thing. "Yeah. It's best to get away from the road." She responded, looking at the small opening of the trees. She began walking in the direction he had pointed. Realizing she was still holding onto her sai tightly, she let go and flexed her hands a few times.
-
Olhal sighed. "You know... I've decided I'm going to hang onto my job. Though Fyroh is such a complete ****, his brother is in need... and Fyrohs brother has done nothing wrong. I'm staying in this for him." He frowned, as though he didn't want to make the decision; but stuck with it, putting his gun away. "Man... I'm tired. Should we set up camp here or something?" he asked.
-
She covered her mouth as she yawned. "Yeah, we should." She said, stopping and looking around. She turned to him. "You're making the right decision. Well, at least, in my opinion you are. It's best that you don't let Fyroh's attitude and his sticking with the traitor stop you from staying for the main reason you joined this war...saving another's life." Then she turned and looked around, now thinking about how maybe companionship in war was kind of a good thing. She sighed and took off her pack, which she had somehow forgotten she was carrying, probably because she was used to it being there so she didn't notice it anymore. She stood there, holding her pack and looking in one direction, lost in thought. Her mind came back though when she almost dropped her pack and had to grab it quickly before it hit the ground. She shook her head and knelt down on the ground, searching through her pack.
((Alright, I'm headed out for now. I'll be back on later.))
-
xenon stumbles upon the little group (dont ask how...just dont...lol...) and slowlie pulls out his hunting knife, "what the heck are they doing here...are they soldiere...or....or rebels?......who are they...." thoughts rushed through his mind as he stiffened his muscles, ready to pounce upon the male of the group
-
Fyroh heard a slight movement nearby, and turned. "Who's there?..." He turned to Saphir. "Another of your friends?" Without waiting for a response, he had his rifle out.
-
((nice avi,vee...^.^..and dude..I GOT TOOONS OF CANDIES!!!))
he quickly jumps into the tree behind the male figure and lands on the branch just above him
~meanwhile at camp~
"hey riku..." "nyeah?....." "have you seen xenon yet?"
"no...hes probably just walking.....thats what he told meh while you were sleep....im goin' back to sleep..."
"yea...meh too.."
-
Fyroh heard the branch shake slightly; without missing a beat he turned and fired a shot straight into the tree, missing the intruder by quite some distance but hoping to at least scare them off. Muttering, he reloaded and aimed this time. "I can see you; get out before I blast you out!!" he called into the tree, bluffing; he couldn't see his opponent, but wanted to scare them away.
-
SAphir shrugged, whistling slowly. "Watch."
Artemas whistled faster, challanging the other. "WHOOO!!" She called, imitating her animal from Saphir's old home.
"OWWIII!!!" Saphir replied, imimtating her favorite wolf. She turned to Fyroh. "It's Mas. Or, Artemas to you.." She jumped slightly then scowled. "Stop that!" She ordered, walking over to the branches and offering her hand. "Come on out. I'm not goin' ta hurt ya'll. Don't worry." She called softly, peering through the leaves.
-
Fyroh blinked. "You're too trusting, Saphir; I don't mean any offense, but maybe Olhal was right... you seem very reluctant to fight any side, but still seem to hate humans. Are you...?" he trailed off before finishing. "Forget it. Never mind."
Olhal heard both of them. "****. They're close... ah well, I'm armed, I'll shoot anyone that comes near." he muttered, sitting against a tree.
-
Her sensitive ears picking up Olhal's comment, Saphir nudged Fyroh. "Olhal's being a smart *** again. Don't hit him." She added, throwing him a warning glare. She moved closer to him and watched the bushes in front of her; waiting.
-
he hops from trees, annoyed, "hey...what ARE you guys anyways?" he said, hands on his hips
-
Fyroh muttered something, then added, "I'll stay here, because I don't want to be held responsible for my actions if I do see him again."
Olhal thought he heard something; he looked around frantically, then settled. "I'll keep watch." he said, but he didn't look like he would; more like about to drop off.
Fyroh looked to the 'intruder'. "I can tell from a glance you're a rebel; now SKIT, before I blast a hole in you, scum. I don't want to have to resort to violence on fellow furres, but if you're killing my allies then I'll glady destroy you." His rifle was ready and loaded; and he looked very eager to pull the trigger.
-
Looking up, Saphir snarled. "Two wolves, what's it look like stupid?"
Artemas took this second to rush out of the bushes and knock into Saphir's stomach. "RAWR!!"
"OOF!!! ARTEMAS!!" She shouted, grunting and cradling her stomach.
-
((Thanks, Kid. :th_Pyong-1: ))
She continued to rummage through her pack. How come I can never find things when I need to? She thought to herself. Aha! She pulled out her sleeping bag, which ended up being at the bottom of the pack. She set it down on the ground next to her pack and looked around, still kneeling. She grabbed the sleeping bag again and rolled it out, her hands shaking. It was then that she realized that she hadn't eaten at all during the course of the day. She sighed and sat cross-legged on her sleeping bag, keeping her arms down so as to not show that she was shaky even though Olhal might've noticed it when she had rolled out her sleeping bag. She looked down at her hands.
-
"youre not gonna kill meh...." he said, putting hands behind back and walking towards him
-
Olhal snapped alert again, recognising the two voices. Putting his finger over his mouth as to indicate Shana to be quiet, he pulled out his guns, and crept towards the bush he heard it come from; and leaned over, catching sight of both of them, ready to shoot. "You again, traitor!! About to kill me, eh? Ready to pounce, until your little friend who was looking for me earlier interrupted, I take it? Both squabbling about who's going to assassinate me just because I left Fyroh?" He seemed to be pulling the story out of nowhere, but thats what he seriously thought of the situation.
Fyroh growled. "I'm seriously considering it. Take another step and this bullets for your head!!" To prove he wasn't joking, he fired a shot that wasn't to hit the intruder, but soared past him instead, barely missing.
-
he looks at the bullet zip past his mid-section,then walks even closer, looking at the male in the eye
".......heh...dont toy with me you soldier...for YOU are the ones who endangered me..my brothers...my family..."
his expression went from annoyed to happy/serious
-
Fyroh almost laughed at him. "I don't fight rebels unless they attack me. I'm only in the job for the money, my brothers deadly sick and I'm fighting to save his life. But trust me, by my standards, you're harrassing me; and I'll kill you if you come any closer."
-
She nodded at Olhal and stayed perfectly quiet and still. She listened intently and made sure she was ready for action. She did still have her weapons on her after all. Olhal seemed to be getting paranoid about the whole thing but she would still back him up anytime. She would be happy when she never had to see the others again. They were really starting to aggravate her.
-
"...wait.....didnt you say that a few MINUTES ago?......well...killing meh aint gonna help.." starts biting skin
-
Fyroh growled. "Why wouldn't it help? Essentially, you're the enemy, and you're in range. My training says I should blast you now. You're effectively threatening my survival. So, get the **** out of here!!" he raged, about to shoot another bullet; and he wasn't going to purposely miss.
-
After slithering off a ways, he came across an Outsider. It was gripping a wolf((Kat)). He smiled, then lunged at the Alien, catching it's midsection with his full weight. It dropped the wolf as it fell while rem started violently coiling around the alien. He started to constrict on the alien, it's limbs pinned. It was shouting in it's language, and there was a dull cracking sound as the pressure started to damage the outer layer of the alien's armor.
-
The alien dropped me, and I fell to the ground on my back, causing a great deal of pain. Some kind of creature was wrapped around the alien's body, squeezing its armour, which soon began to break. I stood, dumbstruck, watching for a couple of seconds. I didn't know whether the creature was to be trusted or not - but it did save me, so I stayed. Another figure creeped out from behind a bush. The coward. I hissed at it, and then ran forward to catch a bit of broken armour from the alien.
-
Rem was only half paying attention as he built a charge. his spikes instinctively flared out, and when he loosed the charge he had built, they arced with electricity. The electric shock had only lasted a second, but the alien smelled like Jimmy Dean as he uncoiled from it. the outer armor seemed pretty much unharmed by the shock itself, but did look a little deformed, as if the heat of the shock had begun to soften it. The exposed under armor looked like it used to be a collection of wires, but it looked like it had been fused together by the electricity. Rem looked to the wolf he had saved and said, "They have a weakness, you just need to exploit it."
-
Artemas grimaced at Saphir and shrugged. "Sorry?"
"GAHLON!! ION!!" Saphir shouted, grabbing her head and falling to the ground. She stayed there, writhing in pain.
-
Still in awe, and particially unable to talk, I stuttered my thanks. The armour looked kinda ruined now, I wondered if it'd still work. I looked down at my own piece that I had caught earlier, trying to shape it to fit me. But it wouldn't move - it was rigid, even with my strength. I turned to the cowardly soldier. "Come out, explain yourself!" I shouted. He crept towards me, and I spat on him.
"Name?"
"Theo...mam..."
"Theo, you are a coward an a traitor." I slashed him with my claws, and turned to the creature, thanking him once again. "I would be dead without you, I am forever in your debt. Thankyou..."
-
Olhal kept his guns aimed at the two. "Get out of here. Now." he whispered, but with force.
-
"GAHLEO MECHEN GAHN!! LETCH!!" She shouted, contorting into a small ball.
"SAPHIR!!" Artemas screamed, dropping to her knees and cradling Saphir's head in her arms. "Hon, wake up. Hunny, get up!"
-
She just kept watching silently from where she was. Her eyelids were getting heavy but she wouldn't let them close. She didn't want to sleep until Saphir and Artemas were gone. She was barely focusing on what was happening. It took pretty much all of her energy just to stay awake, focusing was too hard right now.

SAphir didn't even see her. She opened her eyes and saw her future going up in flames. "MALONE!! Sapa... I miss you..." Her voice was losing power, she wasn't good at screaming so much.
Artemas shook Saphir again, "Sora Saphir Damien Fallen, I command you to look at me. NOW!" She ordered gently, brushing her hair out of her face.
-
He made a strange sound, and then said, "Indeed. You hav-" He stopped for a moment, looking at the sky as the sound of several aircraft boomed from above. Around a dozen F-14 tomcats screamed overhead, engaging around three dozen alien Interceptors that buzzed annoyingly. He looked back, and said, "You have no idea. I am the vanguard of the Deep, and as such I shouldn't be risking my mission to help any of you surface dwellers. The Deep is mobilizing to Purge this planet of the Outsiders." A deep and low hum began creeping into the ears of everyone in the area as overhead a massive mothership loomed. two volleys of modified cruise missiles flew overhead, one striking the Mothership's armored side, and managed to cause some minor damage, some armor falling off onto a battle somewhere below. The mothership changed it's course lazily, and began heading for the sea. He smiled, saying smugly, "Well, that's just perfect. This area's going to get a sudden morale boost, if it keeps heading to the sea..."
Elsewhere, there was a fleet of human ships, carriers that had loosed the fighters, and had more standing by, and destroyers that began firing support to ground troops. several ships fired cruise missiles, taking out several stationary Alien spaceships that were supports for their mothership. Then another volley to this region's mothership, and they saw it change it's heading to intercept the fleet. It was at that point The Sissiro Horde made themselves known. An ambassador boarded one ship, and told them to lure the mothership to sea. The fleet fired another volley of ground cover, then turned and headed out to sea.

Olhal was getting increasingly annoyed; like Fyroh fired a fake rifle shot earlier, he pulled both of the triggers opn his M11s at the same time, spraying the ground with bullets. "I said get OUT of here!!" he roared at them.
-
Saphir continued to scream randomly and writh until she opened her eyes and saw her future die. "NOOOO!!! ARTEMISIA!!! FYROH!! OLHAL!!" She thundered desparately, clawing Artemas's arms open. "LET THEM GO!! NOOO!!! TAKE SORA!! TAKE ME!!" She collapsed against Artemas, not breathing anymore.
Artemas looked up at Fyroh, not hearing Olhal at all. "She's...dead..." Tears were falling onto Saphir's seemingly peaceful face. "I...I..I thought I could help and...I failed..." Artemas wailed, burrying her face in Saphir's neck furk, crying her eyes out.
-
Fyroh gasped with horror, but Olhal didn't seem at all fazed by it. "People die; she would have died anyway from me blasting a bullet into her brain if she didn't move!!" he barked. "Now-"
"**** you, Olhal!!" Fyroh roared, and with rage, he ran straight at Olhal - Olhal didn't have the guts to shoot Fyroh - and suddenly gave Olhal an incredibly powerful uppercut; so powerful that Olhal was literally knocked off his feet, flying a few feet back, landing on the back of his shoulders, collapsing in pain.
Fyroh didn't seem at all sorry for his actions. "It's true, Olhal!! All of us were right to give you such an alias; you really are the Heartless *******." Fyroh said, and kneeled down next to Saphir. "Ohh... why didn't I help her?... What have I done?... this is my fault..." A tear ran down his face.
Olhals mouth was bleeding. He could barely breath as he lay there, stunned. His guns had landed on opposite sides of him; out of his reach. "Oh, cwool wull..." he muttered, unable to speak properly. "Ssana... unn... unn..." he said while gasping for breath; each breath clearly audible. He could move, but his head was in so much pain that he practically couldn't.
-
Artemas picked Saphir up and carried her bridal style to Olhal. "Breathe, **** it breathe!" She ordered, placing her next to Olhal and cutting her own wrist in a diagonal k. "Let the blood that warms my soul bring her back with all my heart. I wish it done so I will have it. Gahleo Mechen Gahn, Fyroh's father. Save her, please?" Artemas asked, mumbling a few more words; "I be Artemisia Eternal Fallen. I ask you to breathe life back into Sora Saphir Damien Fallen Gahn, your daughter in law."
Leo appeared next to Artemas and pushed her aside. "FOOL! MOVE!" She screeched. She slides her hand under Saphir's neck and twists a lock of her hair out.
-
She crawled over to Olhal wearily. Her expression clearly showing that it was hurting her to see him like this. She had never felt sad when her comrades had been hurt or killed before, although she always tried to help them, it never hurt her. She had gotten used to not caring much about the other soldiers because she thought it weakened her, but now she felt different and she really did care. She moved his guns so they were within his reach and looked at him sadly.
-
"Urn!! Urrn!!" he urged Shana, but it was hard to decipher what he was trying to say. "Urn!!" He coughed; then choked up some blood. "Uhh... uhhhn..." It was painful to be seen like this; embarrassing, even.
Fyroh didn't hear; but did hear the mention of Gahn. "... Did you just say... Gahn?... My father?... no... my... fake father..." He sighed, and burst into floods of tears. He couldn't take the pain any more.
-
She gave him a puzzled look and lifted his head. "What? What are you trying to tell me?" She asked him, searching his expression for the answer. Urn? Uhn? She thought to herself. Maybe he wants me to run... She gave him a questioning look. "Run? Do you want me to run?" Of course, she wasn't about to do so if that's what he wanted, but she wanted to clear up what he was trying to say to her.
-
Olhal nodded weakly. "Ess... Urrn... Uhhrrn..." He looked very pale; he was in a lot of pain.
-
She shook her head. "No. I'm not leaving you here." She looked at the others than back down at him. "If there's one thing I was told in training that I take to heart, it's to never leave a man behind. And I'm not leaving you behind." She didn't want anything to happen to him if she left. She'd just blame herself. Just like she blamed herself for her brother's death. She could clearly see that he was in a lot of pain and she could barely stand looking at him when he was this way, but she did. She shook her head again, keeping control of herself. She felt like crying but she wasn't going to let that happen.

((...good LORD i missed alot....))
xenon watches with disbelief as Olhal shot his comrade, "y-youre a a...a......monster...."
-
((Olhal didn't shoot anyone. He said he didn't have the guts to shoot Fyroh. Fyroh punched Olhal.))
-
((oki thnx...i missed alot so i got cunfuzzled))
-
((Cheers for pointing that out for me, Vee. Kid, I'd actually be more worried about calling Fyroh that, as he's the one who struck down his comrade, and also, his best friend and ally.))
Olhal didn't seem pleased by her decision not to run. "Uhhn!! Uhn, ow... Uhn ow!! Efore is doo lay!!" He knew her was barely legible. "Ell durn oh uss soon... uhn now!!" He forced himself to get up, but swayed, head spinning, dizzy, unable to see properly... fog fading over eyes, blacking out...
Olhal fainted. ((Use next Pokemon? xDD Sorry, had to say that... people who've played Pokemon games will understand.))
Fyroh completely ignored Olhal, still focusing on the fallen body of Saphir. "Why?... Why?... this is my fault, I shouldn't have left her side..."
-
She actually understood what he said now. She caught him as he fainted, putting one of his arms around her neck and wrapping one of her own arms around his waist. She took a short glance at the others then walked off through the trees as quickly as she possibly could, carrying Olhal along beside her.
-
{haha. i've played before. It is hilarious. nice joke love.}
Saphir's breathing began again, rasping into her lungs and then back out.
Artemas jumped up and started dancing ridiculously. "SHE'S ALIVE!! LOOK! LOOK!! SHE'S ALIVE!! FYROH, SHE'S ALIVE!!" She was looking more and more like an idiot by the second but she didn't care.
Leo smiled and gently picked Saphir's head up, brushing her hair out of her face. "Saphir? Can you hear me?"
Saphir grunted hollowly, faintly.
"Good. Move your arm or something. Artemas?" She turned to her and flicked her tail, annoyed. "Stop dancing. You look like an idiot."

The Deep? Outsiders? I didn't understand the terms the creature was using, but didn't point it out at risk of looking incredibly stupid. It was probably to do with where he came from, as I knew already that it was somewhere in the sea. I knew that Theo was about to though, but with one smack of a tail I shut him up. I saw a ship be hit, one that belonged to the aliens, and armor falling into the battlefield. It was a huge ship, most likely the mothership, and it didn't suffer much damage. It was heading out to sea. Maybe where the creature lived, they had extra weapons. Maybe the war would be over. That would be good. I could gather more furres - ones abandoned by the army, to help me destroy the humans.
-
Fyroh turned, his horror melting away into nothing. "She- she is?..." A grin spread onto his face; but he didn't do anything rash; he allowed Leo to deal with her first.
Olhal coughed while in Shana's arms; he forced himself free, then spat a little blood onto the ground. "Agghh..." he moaned. "Hank you..." He looked weakly at her. "We sud slee now." His jaw still hurt, but he tried to endure the pain as he lay against a tree, staring at the sky.
-
She smiled at him. "No problem. I wasn't just going to leave you there with them." She sat down on the ground, then a look of realization spread across her face. She had left her pack and sleeping bag back where the others were. Oh man. She thought to herself, but shrugged it off. There was only useless junk in her pack and the sleeping bag would've just made her a little more comfortable while she slept. Covering her mouth, she yawned. She stretched her arms upwards and then curled up on the ground, closing her eyes and waiting for sleep to take her away.
-
Leo motioned him over. "Saphira? Fyroh's here now."
Saphir moved her lips soundlessly, though a clear, sweet voice echoed gently inside their heads. 'Fyroh? Artemisia?' She tried to leap up but waves of pain rushed through her body. 'Leo, what happened? How does he still see me? I was suppossed tt be gone..' She asked, confusion rippled across her grimace.
Artemas stopped dancing and knelt next to Saphir, stroking her hair soothingly. "Saphira, Artemisia's here. What do you need?" She pondered gently, speaking in a voice barely above a whisper to keep Saphir's ears from popping.

The mothership was already drifting off into the distance from rem's location by the time it started firing strange weaponry on the fleet of human ships that buzzed loudly even from a distance. It was just barely halfway over the water, but continuing out. The ships continued their retreat, but they were taking heavy losses, not that anyone on the mainland could see anything but the air battle and the mothership. The air battle itself was actually in favor of the humans, as while the humans had lost half their f-14s, they were now one one one with the previously larger force of alien interceptors.
Rem Motioned to the mothership heading out after the fleet, saying proudly, "We have destroyed eighteen of those, after each they retreat from the area. They have given up on our seas, or even traveling over them, instead seeking to conquer the land first. As soon as the buildup is finished, it will be a amusing spectacle"
The mothership started to slow, realizing it's error, but it was too late. arcs of what appeared to be lightning lanced from the waters skyward, raking the bottom of the mothership with increasing intensity. The air started to feel alive with electricity even where rem and the ones he saved was, such was the building power of thousands of Sissiro beneath the waves. Dry lightning then struck down on the mothership, seeking to equalize the charge building up, pounding on the mothership from above. the mothership stuttered as it stalled, raising some armor-tight plasma-shield over it, and it started moving to the mainland, but the sky itself disagreed. From miles above, a section of the ionosphere built up pressure and was pulled down violently by the extreme difference in charged particles. In a fantastic burst of falling heat and mass the blindingly bright wall of air slammed into the retreating mothership with a thunderclap of deafening purportions, sending a shockwave through the air that caused the entire firefight above to shatter and explode or stutter and spin out of control, hitting the ground soundly. Trees shook violently and several lost their leaves entirely in a massive rush of greenery that flew over the group.
When the mothership was hit by that massive hammer of charged air, it's plasma shield was decimated and it's hull wrecked. a fifth of the ship had escaped the immediate damage of the blast, but was crippled nonetheless. The mothership started listing dangerously as it lost height, and it veered off to one side as it began crashing down, tearing itself to pieces as it did so. As it fell it loosed what could only be described as a almost ear rending sound, much like a foghorn. When it impacted the ground in a series of seven earth shattering thuds, it loosed a large cloud of earth and water from it's impacts in the water and coastline, painting the area with a brown-soiled rainbow.
-
I stared out at the great ship, in awe. 18...all destroyed by these people...it was spectacular. I was speechless. The human army had yet to defeat even one of the aliens, and yet these creatures of the sea had managed to destroy their best ships. I was never in support of the army, but I knew that they could use people like this creature.
"Why do your people not help those on the land? Why do they not join them? They could use help. After all, we are all on the same world." I asked. Shortly following my questionwas a defening thud, and I winced. The noise hurt my ears.
Theo had been silent through all the talk. He too, covered his ears at the noise, but as he had bad hearing, it didn't affect him as much. He was scared, and he felt guilty, but he remained with the pair and didn't intend on leaving yet. They seemed...safe. Of course, the Others would notice he was gone...he winced at the thought of what would happen, and decided to think about it later.
-
Remmiith shook his head, "The majority of us couldn't care less about those surface side. We actually discovered that particular finale by accident during our war with the humans. We put it to good use against the Outsiders. But... your own war with these outsiders has been repeatedly spilling out into our oceans, so that was our incentive. We ARE planning to help against these...things. I am our forerunner, our Vanguard. Unfortunately, from what I've seen of the landscape, we won't be able to do that. We won't be able to cram enough of our people into an area to cause that to happen." He almost seemed to sit, his tail curling around himself.
-
She had fallen asleep a few minutes after she had laid down, but her dreams didn't make her at peace. They weren't dreams really. More like nightmares from her bad memories. She was tossing and turning on the ground.
She awoke in a cold sweat, sitting straight up in a fashion that only a nightmare could cause. She didn't know if she had screamed or not. She shivered and looked around, jumping slightly when she saw Olhal against a tree but then calming down some when she realized who it was. She didn't know if he was still awake now. She assumed she had been asleep for a few hours. If she indeed had screamed then he most likely would've woken up but she didn't know if she had screamed.
She crawled over to another tree that was a few feet from the one Olhal was laying against, her arms shaking beneath her from the lack of food and the nightmare. She curled up with her back against the tree trunk, still shivering, with her eyes shut tight but not falling asleep. She might fall asleep in a bit but not now. She wasn't ready to go back to sleep and she didn't want to have that nightmare again. And so, she just laid there with her eyes shut tight as her body shook and she tried to calm down, taking deep shaky breaths.
-
Theo didn't understand this creatures people. Taking the one here with them, they seemed very proud, and convinced that they were better than those on the land. But he didn't say anything. He saw himself what the creature had done to the alien. And besides. He knew that the soldiers here needed help, Theo wanted the war over and done with as soon as possible...
I thought about this for a moment. These were powerful people, they could cause a lot of trouble for the aliens. But obviously, from what I heard, unless the ships were over the sea there wasn't much help from the creatures. After a pause, I spoke. "I know that this may not be the most appropiate time, but I would like to know your name. And," she wondered how to phrase her question, "What you...are."
-
Olhal was awake; he had only slept for a short time before waking up... unable to sleep any more. His jaw was still aching. When Shana had woken up, he feigned sleeping, but he knew there was something wrong. He slowly turned his head. "Shana, are... are you alright?" He could speak much better than before now.
-
Rem nodded, giving a complex bow with his arms stretched out,"I am Remmith Donnor, Vanguard of the Sissironian Military. My people, the Sissiro, live in the depths of the ocean. We are what the surface dwellers called the Naga eons ago." He came out of the bow and asked, "And you?"
-
Her eyes opened and shifted back and forth. She lifted her head and looked at him, trying to control her shaking and her eyes were glistening because she was on the verge of tears. "Ye-" She started to respond, but it caught in her thoat. She couldn't lie and say she was fine like she'd done so many times before in her life. Plus, it would be easy to tell that she wasn't okay just by looking at her. She shook her head a little. "N-no. Not r-really. Nightmare...bad memories...guilt and blame...my fault..." Her eyes shifted back and forth as she spoke, not really able to focus on him, and her body continued to shake.
-
He put a hand on her; more to keep her from shivering than to comfort her. "It wasn't your fault." he reassured her, without knowing if she was referring to what they'd been through; but decided it was best to assume she was. "It wasn't your fault." he repeated, and took off his jacket, first pulling out all of the weapons concealed within it, then wrapping her in it. "Calm down... it wasn't your fault." he repeated again. He summoned a small fire on the ground to bring them warmth.
-
Saphir growled low in her throat hoarsely and rocked to her feet, falling against Artemas with a hollow snarl. 'This is so dumb. I'll be damned if I let myself lay there like a stupid blob for the rest.'
-
She looked at him when he put his hand on her, starting to focus more now. She watched him take off his jacket and take out all the weapons as she shivered, then watched him wrap her in it and summon a fire. She looked down at her paws which were shaking like crazy, although she was starting to calm down and get warm. "I can still feel him..." She whispered very softly, more talking to herself than to him but not caring if he heard. "He was right there...I could still feel him...but I couldn't help...I couldn't save him...I...couldn't..." Her voice faded as she tried her best to hold back her tears and stared at her paws.
-
"Shh shh shh... It's not your fault, Shana." he muttered to her. "You couldn't do anything... it wasn't your fault..." He focused a bit more energy into the fire. "Calm down, please. I'm sure you couldn't do anything..."
-
She finally stopped shaking, still staring at her paws, and welcomed the warmth of the fire. She sighed, letting her paws drop and looking into the fire. "If there was any way I could bring him back...I would...I miss him so much." She whispered, not feeling like talking any louder. Plus, that wasn't exactly safe anyway. Tears rolled down her cheeks but she didn't sob or anything like that. She turned her head and looked at him. "I'm sorry I'm this way. I don't want to be a burden to you. Also, I'm sorry if I woke you." She turned her head back in the direction of the fire and stared into it again. It was hard to look at him. She was a soldier. She was supposed to be tough...but she just wasn't. She could kill the enemy and watch her allies die but when it came to her past and her emotional ways, she couldn't act tough if she tried. She felt so weak and pathetic when she was this way. She sighed again, watching the flames dance.
-
"Saphir? You need to rest. Stop fighting the recovery."
"D*** you to HELL!!!" She cried vehemantly.
-
"I have no title, no place. I am merely a wolf named Buiolupo. My family is dead. I travel alone." on the last words I shot a glance at Theo.
"And...I'm Theo...I'm...a soldier....and a lynx..." Theo stuttered, upsetted by Buiolupo's evil glare.
-
"You're no burden at all." he replied. "I'm glad to be of use to SOMEONE... seeing as I no longer have Fyroh to help out." He cursed under his breath, and apparently threw a few sparks into the fire, again increasing its size. "I'm sure you'd give anything to have him back. I watched my best friend become victim to the knife, and another of mine, guns food." He looked to the ground. "It was years ago... it still somewhat pains me now, but what can we do? Trudge on through the dirt path of life..."
-
His face was pretty much unreadable. He studied the lynx carefully, slithering over to him. He circled around him while letting his webbed spines flare out menacingly inward. "Soldier, is it? You fight alongside the humans? Word to the wise... they will betray you once these outsiders are gone. -Most- humans are spineless, without honor. Why would you side with them?"
-
She smiled slightly, the tears had stopped falling after a bit. It was good to hear that she wasn't a burden. It made her feel better and that hadn't happened a lot after her brother's death. Her parents had basically thought of her as a burden. Her head moved back slightly when the fire got bigger, just out of surprise. When he mentioned his friends' deaths she turned her head and looked at him, seeing him looking at the ground. Her expression was a caring one. She put a paw on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry. I..." She didn't know what else to say, realizing now that she had never really had chances to express how she felt so she couldn't conjure up the words. She would've hugged him but she didn't because she wasn't sure how he'd react.
-
"Don't worry about it. My lifestyles always been a rough one, I've grown used to seeing people fall victim to death, friends and foes..." He looked up again. "I need to stay strong... because if I fall, then there's one less person to defend the innocent... and one less person to help cure Vlaardi..." He shifted about slightly. "For all I know, though, it's hopeless. Vlaardi could already be dead..." He shuddered at the thought; and stared into the flame.
-
She made an unsure face and looked back at the fire, removing her paw from his shoulder and letting it fall to her side. "You know...I admire that about you." She said while staring into the flame. "You seem to always be able to find it in yourself to stay strong. It's something I have a hard time with but I'm getting somewhat better at. I sometimes wish that I could forget the painful memories...but I don't want to forget my brother and when I think about him, I think about the good things but that one memory is always there too. I'll never forget it, or his last words to me, which he seems to be holding true..." She looked up at the sky through the trees, thinking about how lucky she was that she wasn't dead yet and how her brother must be protecting like he said he would with his dying breath. No tears came to her eyes while she was looking up. In fact, she actually...smiled...
-
"That's the spirit." Olhal replied softly. "Almost always, you can find good of something... even if the event is tragic, the mere words of one precious to you can turn that memory into a beautiful one..." He paused, and looked to the ground. "The memories which can only hurt you are the memories hardest to leave behind... but with enough strength, you can shift them." He joined Shana in gazing into the sky. "One of the first ladies I met... she was a true warrior... she also lead me to a trail of murders of the innocent, then stabbed me in the back... I was lucky to survive it. I don't know why, but one... one of my enemies protected me. Whether for his gain or my own, I'm not sure if I'll ever find out..." He almost fell asleep again as he began imagining painful pieces of his past... and joyful ones too.
-
She continued to smile while he first started speaking. But when he mentioned being stabbed in the back, she winced slightly. She knew that feeling but she wasn't going to start on why/how she did. It'd just be another unjoyful thing to listen to for him and a bad memory that actually coincided with the other for her. Neither of them needed that so she didn't speak of it. She glanced at him for a second and saw him gazing at the sky too and almost falling asleep. She didn't speak, just chuckled softly and looked back at the sky. The nighttime sky could always make her feel better. The moon and the stars were like comforting companions to her. She loved the night.
-
Theo spoke with fear, he could not tell these strangers the truth, "I....I wish to defend my planet...it seemed...right..." He stared at the ground as he spoke, not wishing to look Remmith in the eye...
-
rem was no sucker. He grabbed his head and forced Theo to face him. "You're lying." One of his webbed spines arced a electricity threateningly. Rem narrowed his eyes and said in a frightening tone, "Try again."
-
Theo was terrified. Did he know? He couldn't, wouldn't, tell Remmith. "I speak nothing but the truth. Believe me." He tried to look into Remmith's eye this time, but failed and continued to look away. He could never find out what he was. The worst part was, Theo had never done anything wrong. He had just found something he wasn't meant to...
***
I was now suspicous of Theo. Remmith knew Theo wasn't telling the truth - and I trusted his instincts. Standing behind Remmith, I smilled menacingly at Theo and bared my fangs, just so that he was familiar with his consequences of lying.
-
Rem shook his head, frowning. his thinner pair of arms crossed for a second, then one reached out. They sizzled with electricity. He kept it a bare inch from Theo's skin. "And now I'm curious. I will get the answer, even if I have to turn you into a cooking hunk of meat in the process. Choose wisely and tell the truth, and you won't find out just how much pain I can deal."
-
"Very sweet of you. now sleep."
"I HATE---" She stopped, crumpling to the ground in a useless heap.
"Jeez you're a pain."
-
Theo held closed his mouth, showing that he refused to talk. Remmith wouldn't really hurt him, would he? It was probably just a threat, right? Even if he would, it would be nothing compared to what they would do. And then there was Buiolupo. And Theo knew that she would hurt him.
-
"Now where was I?" He looks around and smiles. "Ahh, now for the 'Fyroh'."
-
letting go with his primary arms, he grabbed Theo's wrists, and stretched out his arms, so he couldn't thrash around as he enveloped Theo's lower half with his massive tail, squeezing them tightly and painfully, his spiral hold with each loop pulling into opposite directions. There was muffled popping noises as theo's legs were dislocated from the hip. Then Rem stuck his charged hand into Theo's gut, sending blinding pain through his body. He stopped after a second, waiting for Theo to regain his senses, and the white hot pain from his legs became blinding as Rem pulled on the dislocated legs again, and they popped back into place. Rem asked calmly again, "Now. The truth. I can do this for days, and I will if necessary, nonstop until you speak the truth. So many joints to pull apart, so many bones to break, and so very many times I can shock you. How long can you last? one day? Two? I can do this for a week solid before I so much as need to sleep or eat."
-
Theo collapsed in pain...it was worse than he could ever imagine...he couldn't keep up with this - he was a coward, and knew it...he couldn't speak with agony. It would get worse if he didn't speak...but it depended on what he preferred....death, or this...
Theo decided to talk. But he didn't neccesarily have to explain it all....maybe he wouldn't be killed by the others...and maybe he would be hurt by Remmith. Still in pain, he struggled to talk, "I...was....a normal...person....who found...something....he wasn't meant....to...."
-
"Congratulations. You just eared a reprieve. Now start explaining, or it will be worse." Rem squeezed Theo's legs just to make a point but at least he had crossed his lower set of arms. "And in the end, if I'm none too pleased with your answer, I do have room in my stomach after the deer I had earlier. I'll consume you while you scream and beg for mercy." Hem's face was unreadable, it looked dead serious. He had never so much as blinked since the interrogation had begun.
-
Theo was terrified. Now he had seen what Remmith could do, he didn't know what to expect anymore. He just wanted to die right now, no more pain...He didn't know whether, or how to explain.
Buiolupo was looking towards him. Her eyes seemed to have softened, if only very slightly. He knew that she wanted to hurt him...but maybe not...kill him...
"I was a scientist...well....studying to be one..." he paused between gasps of pain from his injurys...they felt like they'd never stop hurting... "I was...watching a more experienced....scientist...he was experimenting with something...he left...he was talking....to someone...."
Theo stopped. He couldn't go on. The pain was too much, and he blacked out, and collapsed.
-
Rem uncurled, slinging the unconscious Theo over his back and said to the other, "Come on, there's water back over there so we can wake him up for the rest." He motioned down the hill the way he had came.
-
I didn't say anything, but nodded, and followed. I was scared to say anything wrong. I wanted to know about Theo as much as Rem, well, maybe slightly less, but I wouldn't go about killing him for it. Maybe he had a good reason for not speaking, or maybe I was just going soft...I hated the thought of that...
-
Rem led her to the river, and threw Theo carelessly off his back onto it's shore. he reached in the the water with his tail and splashed a lot of water onto the unconscious Theo to wake him up, then pinning him to the ground with his massive bulk. "Wakey. Wakey. Rise and shrine, or whatever you surface dwellers say."
-
Theo felt a rush of cold to his face and body. He didn't open his eyes, and didn't know where he was, or what was happening. There was a pain in his sides, and he kept his eyes closed, trying his best to look unconcious. But he was never a very good actor...
-
He gave Theo a mild shock, what would be no more then a bad static shock, and said, "Sorry bub, time to wake up and start singing. What else was there." He shifted around uncomfortably, shifting the weight onto Theo's legs.
-
'DON'T YOU DARE HURT HIM!!' She yells, struggling back up on her feet and to lean on an oak tree. "I won't let you." She whispers, scowling in concentration.
'Why must you fight with me? Do I have to kill you?'
"You can't. I'm stronger than the first time. I know what I'm vcapable of. You can't control me anymore. I 'm done with you." Saphir growls, smiling as thoughts of her friends fil her head, forcing her attacker to cringe.
'NO!! THEY ARENT YOUR FRIENDS!! I AM!! ONLY I!!' He screams, dissolving into a hazy dream locked up in her nightmare keeper.
"Never again. You thought you were stronger but I'm through." Saphir mumbles, smiling at herself proudly as she looks into iher reflection on the surface of the pond.
-
He gave Theo a mild shock, what would be no more then a bad static shock, and said, "Sorry bub, time to wake up and start singing. What else was there." He shifted around uncomfortably, shifting the weight onto Theo's legs.
Theo groaned. He still wanted to die...
He had to tell Remmith, but suddenly reaslised that he had forgotten what the whole thing was about...
He groaned once again, and put his hand to his head. "Wha..what?"
-
Rem growled, but it was more of a thudding sound like a saltwater crocodile. It reverberated through the air, and the pair could could feel it more then hear it. "The Scientist. Who, and what was he talking about?"
