Hey all!
My other thread got locked because of my inactivity on it.
This is the "Jazzy Stuff" thread continued."
So just a few days ago, I had my yearly audition for my high school's jazz band, and even though I didn't bomb it, I figured I was going to be in anyway. There had been a rumor that a trumpet playing friend of mine told me and that rumor was that a certain baritone saxophone player would have a very cool feature. Well, a couple of days later, it is confirmed. I will be playing a solo/ballad/feature this year for my jazz band, performing on the baritone sax. The song is titled "Lifelong Friends" by Kris Berg and I'll post a link.

There it is! Let me know what you guys think of it. I really enjoy the different styles that change about halfway through the piece.
I'll talk to you guys later!
Happy Trails!~

Well, I'm back with just a little more!
Jazz band starts in about three to four weeks, after my state's All State Music Festival auditions on the 24th, which I'm still not prepared for but oh well.
But I'm mainly just trying to keep this thread open! So please, speak of jazz and how Louis Armstrong is a fantastic trumpet player, though I, myself, prefer the King of Swing!
Happy Trails!~
