Halloooo everyone.
Just taking a quick poll to see if anyone would be interested in the following setting. Just a few notes! This will likely be a one-off RP. One character per player. Waffles are fantastic. The writing style will be paragraph to multi-para, so if you can't maintain a decent post length probably look elsewhere! Don't worry, though, I'm not too anal about it. Magic is rare here, so if you want to play a spell-caster or a magically-involved character just be aware that such powers are few and far between, and are far weaker than traditional high fantasy. IE No fireballs, you pesky wizards.
The setting is Steampunk, but I want to keep tech to a slightly lower level. Guns are traditionally revolver-based, semi-autos are extremely rare and experimental. Be creative with it, though. Creative means interesting.
Setting: This story takes place in the land of Karad'Gor, a swampy region on the northern side of the continent of Raael. The landscape was once a bustling metropolis of road and railways. Eight years ago the Plague-Storm, a horrible catastrophe of chemistry and magic, overtook the land. Nobody knows what happened for sure, but we do know that the epicenter of the event came from the capital city of Havarstein. A pall of dark clouds lay over the land, and those that lived there quickly withered, rotted... and died. Karad'Gor has since been considered a cursed land, and the gloom still hangs. Nobody lingers long under the dark clouds, for to do so invited destruction and death. Bandits roam the land, preying on travelers brave enough to pass through, as there is no law here. Darker things lurk in the swamps and ghost towns, mutants of the plague-storm. Some stories even claim that the dead come back to life at night.
Our story takes place as a group of travelers looking to make their way through the lands. An ambitious architect has hired the players to scout a route through the swamps and mires, so that he may attempt to build a railway that passes through the land, offering safe travel through Karad'Gor for the first time since the plague-storm.
So let me know what you think, and if anyone is interested. If we get say... 5 or more people who can commit to regularly writing (Once every 2-3 days at minimum) I'll throw us up a thread. :D

Name: Ayllaina "Laina/Trips" Tripenka
Race: Pine Marten
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Primary Combat Style: Marksman/Stealth
Description: Shoulder-length blonde hair frames the face of the marten, highlighted with streaks of dark red and brown. Two small ears top her head to either side, both having small nicks along their rim. Slightly wavy bangs fall across her face from time to time, obscuring the gentle blue of her eyes and the soft curve of her cheeks. A tiny light brown nose tips her short muzzle, a pair of small whiskers poking from either side. Her mouth was often set in a neutral expression, flashing small bubbly smiles whenever anyone looked her way.
Her shoulders are slender, and combined with her long torso make her appear almost lanky were it not for the graceful way in which she moved. She often wore a dark leather jerkin that covered most of her modest chest, under which she always wore a grey-white tunic, small frills of fabric at the wrist, and a simple rawhide string keeping the garment closed in the middle. Similar dark leather covered her legs and wrists, the hardened material acting as a weak sort of armor. Metal plates were affixed at the shoulders, hips and thighs of her garments. No doubt the metal was almost as much as a decoration as for protection. Strapped diagonally across her chest is a belt of several pockets, both of her bracers also having slots for storing bullets. Her paws were dainty, though quick, and her feet are by and large covered by a heavy set of boots. Jerry, a heavy carbine rifle, is typically held at the ready or strapped across her back for travel. A second belt around her waist showing the handles of both a smaller gun and some type of blade.
Personality: Friendly, bubbly and generally shy. Laina does not work well with groups because she has a hard time communicating with the others on anything other than a surface level, and often people feel she is distant. In battle she is quite fierce, and it often catches allies off guard how the small marten can switch from almost painfully introverted to a violent killing machine.
Background: Trips comes from a poor and violent family of thieves and scoundrels that was both a bad environment and a good training ground for the young marten. She learned how to fend for herself at an early age, and despite being regularly abused both emotionally and physically by her family, she vowed to never become those she hated so passionately. As soon as she was able, she stole away one night, taking most of the family's money with her. One of her greatest fears is that her family is still trying to find her for her betrayal. After a time of living as a highway bandit, she made an enemy of the wrong noble. He dispatched a squad to arrest her, and while she was captured she managed to barter for her freedom by offering her services as a body guard. She was forced into this role for some time, but eventually the honest man allowed her her freedom, claiming that her debt was paid. She now works as a freelance mercenary, making an honest living with her rather dishonest skill-set.
Prevalent skills: Laina is an excellent marksman, and while her weapon of choice is a short-range carbine, she knows how to shoot most gun with a moderate proficiency.
Laina is also an excellent pick-pocket, and is able to pick most simple locks with basic tools.
She is naturally good at climbing, able to scale most grippable surfaces easily.
Her small body and innate quietness make her excellent at sneaking around and avoiding notice.
She is serviceable in melee combat, though will avoid it if at all possible.
Gear: Jerry- A modified heavy revolver that has been outfitted into a carbine rifle with the addition of an extended barrel and a hefty wooden stock. The gun's name has been scratched into the barrel, though if Laina named the gun or it was the name of the previous owner was unknown. Fires 7.62 rounds. The user of this weapon has to be careful where they're holding it, as the revolving chamber is not shielded and the large rounds cause quite a bit of blow-back. Jerry is loud as hell to boot. 30 rounds -> 18 rounds (after rat fight)
A single-barrel shotgun pistol. With only a 6" barrel, this gun is practically useless unless you're within 5 feet of your target. However, it will punch a hole in just about anything at that range, and Laina usually loads it up with slugs or heavy gauge shells. The gun has a typical loading style and needs to be reloaded after each shot. Typically used when her position has been compromised or if she runs out of bullets with Jerry. 12 rounds
A simple steel knife, used as much as a survival tool as for combat. This is a last resort weapon.
Boiled leather armor, capable of stopping most blades at the right angle, but certainly not a bullet or a well-placed strike.

Description:
Kaz is a bit shorter, if heavier, than the average coyote. His fur is a combination of earthy tones with a slender patch of white down his middle. The yote is well marbled with a layer of flesh spread evenenly across his body from his chin to flank, accumulating the most in the form of a pot belly over his waist.
A wide brimmed cowboy hat adorns his head with a red bandana around his neck. He wears a dark grey vest over his torso, leaving it open to expose his stomach.
A belt runs across his hips, holstering two seven shot revolvers. A custom shot gun hangs at his back. A large bore weapon with a clock work powered revolver to hold 4 shots.
He wears an ammo bandolier across his chest over his vest.
Personality: Happy, excitable, cocky, gluttonous, lazy, arrogant, possibly insane.
Background: If one were to ask Kaz where he came from they likely would get a different story each time. In reality he came from simple beginings. The son of a potato farmer who desired something more in life. He didnt have the skills or money for propper education so he joined the local militia of his home city at a young age.
He didnt have the patience to deal with his fellow guardsmen so he turned to mercenary work.
When a ressession hit his home lsnd he turned to a life of crime.
He ran with a gang of bandits for a year, traveled by himself for two. Kaz was forced to take a break from his dangerous life style after getting shot in the rump while stealing sheep for dinner.
Anymore he spends his time drifting from tavern to tavern looking for mercenary work. In the last year or so however the yote has spent more time in taverns retailing his adventures rather than having them. Iits not just his skills that have grown softer...
He currently works as a guide, explorer and gun for hire.
Prevalent skills: small arms. Explosives. Minor mechanical repair. Feild guide and exploration.
Gear: trusty bandana and hat.

Name: Nemael "Nihlus" Feray
Race: Natavathi

Description:
Quadrupedal form (commonly seen):
At home under the sea or in the air, Nihlus is a visual mixture of his ancestry and relation to the mythological dragon. A quadrupedal beast of bone, scales and feathers, he is a visual force. An abnormal skull gives way to what looks to be a singular, oval gem set into the center of the head, flanked by bony protrusions that protect the cheek and spiral out into downward-set horns. A plume of feathers is set on either side of the horns, enhancing his hearing while maintaining aerial stability. Like all Natavathi, the so-called gem 'eye' changes color which emits a certain signal for unspoken and long-range communication. A scaled nose, wide nostrils that can be shut when required and a fanged maw finish off the draconic look.
From the neck he bears a pair of visible gills that almost appear to be similar to slats and an anatomical anomaly in the form of tubes from either side of the throat connected to the back. Further down the body is a set of four wings; one primary pair with a secondary set that almost appears to form a massive tail rudder. His tail is somewhat think and tipped in a flexible fin that appears similarly to a lunar butterflies wings, made especially powerful for underwater strokes. Powerful legs bound by cuffs with a single hoopt ending before a somewhat large dewclaw that can grip objects or enemies unfortunate enough to be within range. Visually, he is colored similarly to dusk, bedecked in shades of purple, pink, blue, white and black, allowing him to blend in seamlessly with the night sky while scouting or to attract prey from underwater. Various scales on his neck, legs and tail glow a deep purple to further the illusion of night, as well as white spots and luminescent blue streaks on his head feathers and wings. Main form (uncommonly seen):
When he turns into his humanoid form, he is basically an anthropomorphic variation of his draconic appearance, though with the gain of three-fingered hands and a thumb that are tipped in thick, cutting claws, as well as feathers extending from the arms. In this form he is 8'2".
In regards to clothing, he chooses to wear nothing, ignoring the pouch he carries on his back that retains all of the tools he requires for tinkering, fixing or making blueprints. He also carries a pocket watch that he tends to fiddle with often in this form. As in his quadrupedal state, there are cuffs attached to his upper arms and legs, a single loop for hooking chains or other manner of things attached to it. They can never be removed. Always wears a simplistic key around his neck.

Personality:
Compare him to the ancestral dragon and he will likely tear you apart, desiring to have nothing to do with the species and their ill-earned namesake. Otherwise he bears an incredibly strong sense of integrity and works tirelessly in aiding others achieve their dreams. The precise reasoning for this is not entirely known, but he will go out of his way to aid any stranger, so long as they show a love for their work. Incredibly intuitive, but also quite sensitive when his own capabilities are put into question, he is actually rather quiet and reserved when not participating in events or conversations that pique his interest. Or if he feels that it is not deep or intellectual enough for him to join in the first place. Although this may seem to stem from an inherent dislike of people, his gregarious nature towards those who strive to achieve their passions and who share a similar love of astrology, among other things, disproves the theory.
He does not enjoy nor entertain small talk, instead finding it preferable to either remain silent or participate in discussions that go well beneath the surface. Thus he is incredibly selective when it comes to sharing his most intimate thoughts and feelings, so far having reserved them solely for others of his kind.
Background:
Raised in a fairly eclectic family, it came as no surprise when he wound up following in the steps of everyone. From his mother who built strange and unusual machines, his father who proved to be a fan of ferrying messages between secluded peoples, his twin, elder sisters who were fascinated by their history and astrology--he was constantly surrounded by unique circumstances. However, what truly drew him in and made him choose to practice each of their professions instead of just one, was when he happened upon a bundle of letters that bore a symbol he had never seen before.
Ever curious, he carefully opened one stack after the other and read about the cities and towns that dotted this side of their world. He learned of the machines that had been created to make the citizens lives easier, of the breakthroughs made in astrology and the rich history that seemed to be prevalent wherever one dared to look. Yet his family had been completely unaware of any occurrences outside of the Natavathi homeland. Although they had certainly made huge developments that branched away from the rest, there was information within these simple little letters that could have easily expanded their horizons.. When he asked his sisters why, knowing they would be far more open to answering such questions and unlikely to take his nosiness poorly, the answer they gave was actually quite simple. Due to their belief systems, most Natavathi were notably worried about their culture becoming diluted or growing unable to think for themselves. If they used the discoveries of other people to spring from, they feared they would never recover what made their minds work in the way it did. His sisters also stated that they gave little water to such ideas and tried to collect as much information about the outside as they could. Unfortunately, it was hard to learn anything when every Natavathi, to the slight exclusion of their couriers, were so exceedingly insular.
That day he made a pact with his siblings. In return for becoming a courier like their father and speaking with the people he came across, they would teach him everything they knew. From there the work proved simple enough, though he would eventually need to learn from his mother how to create various devices in order to protect himself when flying beyond physical reach was not enough. She also taught him how to tell scrap apart; what was wise to keep and what was best discarded, although her teachings were slightly lacking as they were based off of old information.
Time passed, Nihlus grew and would eventually happen upon a letter from a man who desired to build a railway through a land he had heard of only in tales. Interest piqued and seeing the inherent possibility of participating in such an endeavor, he gained the approval of his family before setting off to speak with the architect. However, his eventual joining with the man and his endeavors was not entirely by free will, noted through the cuffs that have been crudely attached to his arms and legs.
Prevalent skills:
A tinkerer and astrologist, he has learned how to repair a small pool of weaponry as well as how to be guided by the stars. He has also been known to work up blueprints for seemingly unusable or ridiculous contraptions based off of the history of his people, bearing an intense desire to create what he has heard of only through fables. He is also a well-learned scout, venturing ahead silently through the skies or water when able, returning with pertinent information to both cartographers and fighters. The last is less prevalent and noticeable, but a feature known to every Natavathi. Within the wings are tiny, near invisible slits that can either release heat or maintain it, primarily used in winter weather when there are no thermals to soar on or to warm the body. The latter can be used either solely on the Natavathi or encompass several people within the wing span.
Gear:
Almost always seen carrying a lantern in his maw that has two ceremonial pieces of a sheer silken cloth attached to it. Bears a key necklace around his neck and two bells that have been tied to his tail in a similar fashion to the lantern. The bells a gift, he has come to refer to them as his 'lucky chimes', though he will remove them when stealth is of the utmost importance. Wears a band of cloth strapped to his chest in which he attaches both home made and purchased bombs, using them to harass enemy forces with their shrapnel. Also wears a bag attached to his back in which he carries his clothing, tools, lantern and piercings, always keeping it on hand for when he changes to his humanoid form.
Magic (If applicable):
Solely capable of shifting into a more humanoid form, allowing for deft use of hands when working with small objects or creating a new blueprint.

(Okay, sorry it's also a bit long, writing detailed character sheets is too much fun XP I wanted to try taking a stab at this character who I kinda used a little once before... Hopefully the Magic-School of Metallurgy fits with your RP setting Xavier, I noticed you said you wanted magic to be more low-key so I figured this might be the best bet for a steampunk setting
I tried to give a good description of it, along with its shortcomings and abilities. Please tell me if anything needs changing and I will do so!)
Name: Katyusha (or just 'Kat' for short)
Race: Lynx
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Primary Combat Style: Scout / Support
Description: Fairly typical of her species, her thick grey fur is mottled with sandy browns and darker spots while a splash of white fur covers her stomach, chest and muzzle. Like most lynx her build is fairly short and stocky, although Kat is a little more 'ample', shall we say, than most in this matter. Even accounting for the thick fur of her species she tends towards a slightly full-figured nature, particularly around her waist, hips and thighs, in what some have described a classic 'pear-shape' body, about which she still feels rather insecure. Kat's dark hair is cut simply from around mid-length bangs at front to a short crop at the back.
In terms of clothing Kat's wardrobe is practical, but rather worn and even scorched in places due to the nature of her career as a Metalmancer. She wears rugged boots and soft grey jodhpur-type pants reinforced with sections of metal-lined leather over the knees and shins. A dark brown bomber-style jacket is worn over the top buckled around the middle with a belt and similar sewn in patches protect the forearms, shoulders and chest. She often wears a scarf that covers much of her muzzle when pulled up.
The only hint in her clothing to any magical ability is a pendant of gold hanging from a chain around her neck, inlaid with a finely etched silver dragon which constantly shifts and moves as though alive, the symbol of a Metalmancer.
Personality: Relatively timid, though persevering and hard working despite her lack of experience. She is a quiet but no-nonsense sort of person.
Background: Kat's story is one which she rarely recounts to others. From a young age in a family of great wealth she was bought a place into the college of Metalmancy by her parents, a prestigious and demanding application. During her years of teaching it was often remarked how she did not seem to have the natural aptitude for magic, and indeed instead she often found more enjoyment reading in the vast libraries or sneaking out to shoot with the royal archers and hunting. As such she was eventually thrown out of the college on the basis of poor discipline and study. Unable to face the ridicule from her parents she knew she would face Kat fled the capital, spending the time since always on the move, seeking work where it came. It was only recently that she found employment with the railroad company investing in a project through Karad'Gor, where after showing her skills at map-making (which would be of the utmost importance in laying the rail lines, she argued) and a rather flashy show of Metalmancy was figured to be of enough use to send out on the railroad trail-blazing team.
Prevalent skills: Tracking and Scouting, Minor mechanical skills, Archery, Cartography (map-making), Alchemy of compounds such as black powder.
Gear: Unusually Kat eschews the use of black-powder firearms in favour of the silence, reliable mechanics and re-useable ammunition of a compound bow, a choice that primarily came from her experiences hunting and shooting. Such a bow is far from old-fashioned however and has kept up with advances in technology, its mechanical cam-wheel pulley system producing a high draw weight and power that can punch through even thick animal hides and armour. Such a weapon also provides an opportunity for unique arrow-head payloads, from explosive black powder to even more exotic choices.

Besides this Kat carries a long-handled hammer, just as much a tool as it a weapon, held on the back of a bandolier that crosses her chest which also supports a quiver of ammunition and various pouches for odds and ends. Clipped to the belt around her waist at her back she carries a pack with several cylindrical cases for various map scrolls and writing equipment.
Magic: Metallurgy, the school of metals and alchemy~
The mages of this school go by many names to the engineers, mechanics and railroad workers of Raeey: 'Metalmancer', 'Alchemical Mage', 'Metalurgist'... They are all are one and the same, and all are shown a general feeling of distrust and caution. Despite this a Metalmancer is always highly sought after amongst companies, particularly when working around the finicky new railroad engines.
A Metalmancer's magic, as their name suggests, is limited to elemental control over metals and alchemical compounds. These magicks often work best through direct contact with the metal, and given enough time a practiced Metalmancer can alter and repair the inner workings of machinery without the necessity of taking it apart. Such control is mostly limited to changes in a metal's temperature, warping of its shape or even shattering, but despite rumours a Metalmancer is no less able to make metal from thin air than the next man and turning lead to gold is a challenge even for the most highly trained in their order.
Although a school of magic ill-suited to combat it is a foolish man who would attack such a mage and consider his metal plate-armour to be protection, rather than a weapon in the hands of a skilled Metallurgist.
Extra: The most distinguishing features of Kat are perhaps those that she tries to keep hidden. The practice of Metalmancy does not come without its costs, which manifest themselves the longer and deeper a person delves into the magic.
Perhaps the most visible is that the irises of her eyes glint a deep golden colour, having overtaken the natural blue of her eyes. Less visible, though far more worrying, is the slow spread of change to her hands and forearms as the once grey fur has turned a shining gold. This is not just a problem with colour as the flesh beneath has suffered the same fate, turning to the precious metal which she sought to control and shape, such is the curse of a Metalmancer. While she retains her sense of touch in her hands the conspicuous nature of such a change is enough that Kat wears long gloves of tanned leather at all times when around others.

Name: Volt
Race: Shark/Wolf
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Primary Combat Style: assassin
Description: Volt is a very short man, light on his feet. He has the face and nose as a shark but wolf ears, he has dark blue skin like a sharks. Volt has Dark black hair , often hidden from the long cape and hood that has a magical spell making it hard to detect him. He has jagged teeth like a shark with three sets and a bad overbite. He has a long shark tail that has scars running down the skin, and a torn fin. He has a right purple eye while the other is black. He has tattoos on his arms and back.
Personality: Volt is a very quite man, but has a very hot temper. When angered he can stick his foot in his mouth and often swears up and down. He can hold a grudge you until you both die. But when Volt is not mad he is very nice, guy. Feeling as no one should be left behind and he tends to fight for everyone, when he likes you.
Background: He was born in a family of assassins, as a kid he was trained, everyone knew the blackwings as the braves and best assassins around. They fought for what was right, and he was happy to be trained as one. But as he aged his family become greedy for money and soon the blackwings name was hated. They would do anything for money even if that means killing the blood of the good. He soon fell into the hate of others witch turned his soul cold, often getting into fights with others when bring up his family name. At the age of 15 he became the last blackwing all the others were hunted down and killed, the symbol of a wing on his chest was scared with the many times he tried to cut it off his skin. Then he gave up at the age of 17 trying to not become a blackwing and went for trying to change the name of the blackwings for good and not evil.
Prevalent skills: Sneaking, lock-picking, close combat, specking,speed
Gear: A long dark black coat with a dark hood covering his face. dark black pants with two daggers stuck in a belt holder hidden under his dark coat that goes down to his feet. Dark black boots, with chains on them. His coat has a red black wing on the back, with swirls on the lining. He has finger cut gloves on and chains falling from his jacket. other then his two daggers you can find throwing knifes in his boots and a number of small trick found in the inside of his coat pockets.
Magic (If applicable): He really only knows a spell for making him self un seen and heard by others but thats it.

My only concern Dexter would be if you could keep up with the quality of writing in the thread, based on the grammar in your CS. I will openly admit I'm a snob about word quality in my threads, but if you're confident you can write good posts regularly you can join. Also keep in mind this is steampunk RP, the image you posted has a lot more modern/futuristic armor. I'm hoping that was just a general idea for his looks.

@Xavier: Oh, gosh.. Kitt is probably just fine xD I really don't mind which you use though, I kind of amalgamated the two together because I like Kit Kat chocolate wafers here in the UK and it seemed to fit :p

Farore, that would be both humorous and awesome, haha. I must also say I am extremely excited for this RP! We already have quite a unique band of writers with some fantastic perspectives, quirks and wonderful critters; hopefully soon a couple more when Drake chooses his and if Dexter decides to join. Ahhh, there needs to be a term for when a writer completely geeks out.
Anyway! Do not quote me on this, but in another RP Xavier runs, he welcomes it when we introduce new NPCs to add a bit of spice to the game. However, it may be different with this one seeing as he has quite a bit more down on the story and overall theme.

I would prefer everyone to just run a single character as far as that goes, but introducing NPCs is entirely fine. I encourage everyone to contribute to the story as they see fit. :D
Luckily Kitt put her character up for our cartographer, which is really the only thing we absolutely needed. ^^
I'm trying to still find a few people if anyone knows anybody. I love having lots of players because it allows us to throw much more challenging obstacles in the way. Plus inter-group dynamics get more complex.

Name: Zachary Evans
Race: Raccoon
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Primary Combat Style: Close range agility based combat. very aggressive.
Description: Zachary is a lean individual standing at 5'7". his fur is sand colored with his markings being a dark brown. his face has some soft features for a male of his build making him seem friendly. his clothing is some nice black dress pants with a button up white dress shirt. over top of the shirt he wears a brown leather knee long coat that is loosely tied around his waist with belt to prevent it from being a hazard in combat.
Personality: tends to be a bit of a joker with anyone and is generally friendly. he can be serious if the situation is absolutely dire but will generally keep his aloof personalty at all times. he is also very intellectual able to gauge scenarios fairly well. he also adores a good fight.
Background: Zachary has had a... interesting life leading him to this situation. his life was actually a little more mundane than you would like to believe. nice home, nice family, nice town, everything was nice making him restless. the mundane life was boring and he wanted something more exotic. he did everything he could to get out of the town he was raised in but because he was loved by the town it was difficult. he actually resorted to sabotage making the town turn against itself making every one point fingers towards neighbor and friend alike. machines would inexplicably break down, furnaces would erupt making the town become something a little more unfriendly. causing his family to move fairly quickly.
in the next town he met a mercenary and heard his stories of adventure and conquest. as soon as he came of age and able to carry a firearm he bought his revolver and hit the road as soon as possible. making few friends and sharing stories to other hopeful mercs in the future. as he traveled around he learned always wanting to know more, learning new skills that could be useful and such. he actually bought switchblade from a skilled craftier and made some modifications to it so only he could use it.
Prevalent skills: has a large arsenal of skills from different paths of lives but he generally is very good at stealth, scouting, planning, survivalist, and for this job the cartographer.
Gear: a .32 caliber dual action revolver with a ten bullet magazine. his holster that is loosely slung around his hips that can carry spare bullets. his one of a kind contraption called switchblade. it attaches to his left forearm and has three devices added to it. the short sword blade that is the length of his forearm. when it is active it juts strait out and stays there until recalled the blade is also located on the top of the arm. on the underside of the arm is a powerful little grappling hook the cable is fairly thin but is fairly strong able to lift both him and maybe like... two other people... one of them being fat. the last feature on switchblade is the single shot gun on the outside of the arm lined up with the little finger it uses the same caliber as his revolver. he modified it early on so his telekinesis is the only thing that can operate it with small pieces that he can move. sometimes the sword might spring out unexpectedly because of this. he also has a satchel with a wooden box that has all the spare parts he needs for switchblade, paper, ink, and some rations for the first few days.
Magic (If applicable): a weak telekinesis. he can move small light objects but it requires a bit of focus to do. he cannot catch moving objects with the telekinesis.

I hope things are looking a bit better on your end, regardless if you were close to your uncle or not. I was not remotely on the same level with my mums mum when she passed, but it can hurt regardless, especially when you see how those you love respond. So take as much time as you need; we're fine waiting over here as everyone else has stated.

I sent Kaz ahead a little bit from the party and decided to toss in a potential conflict / character flaw where Kaz just does tbings and assumes people are on the same page and follow suit. That and he has grown soft, both literally and metiphorically but has yet to realize it :3
Kaz is a Dynamic character so feel free to spoof stuff happening to him short of dismemberment, eye gouging and death XD if needed.

Name: Olaris Foxtrot
Race: Artic Fox
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Primary Combat Style: Close Quarters Fighter/Berserker
Description: Olaris is by all means a runt when it comes to what he does. He stands at a meager four feet, seven inches. He has an ironically feminine build. His body is slim all around, with a thin waist line, and curves in the wrong places for a male. His voice happened to be a saving grace to his masculinity, if barely. It’s soft when he’s calm – but in no way deep. But fiery and fierce when he’s riled up.
He is covered in a thick white coat of fur, with the only deviations of color taking place around the rim of his ears, and down his muzzle in a triangle like pattern. These are of a black hue. His ears are large like a fennecs. And the thickest part of his body could probably be his large voluminous tail. Once again, just a solid color of white. And then finally blue eyes.
He dresses in functional, but overall very lightweight clothing, and equipment. He wears a gray undershirt, with a hardened leather vest on top, with a “cowboy” collar that folds out and downwards from his neck. Over that is a light brown waistcoat featuring thin darker brown stripes running vertically. Over his forearms are metal gauntlets that covers his fingers, the back of his hands, and forearms. Hitched to his right shoulder is a hardened leather pauldron. On his legs are matching brown dress pants, followed by heavy dark black travelers boots. A few loops of gold earings hangs from his right ear. Then lastly, he carries a greatsword in a sheath that is hitched securely to a messenger bag.
Personality: Fiery, fierce, but also passionate. Olaris has been known to have quite the bit of an anger problem since his childhood. He’s not afraid of solving a problem with aggression and needless violence; this seems to be his common solution to everything. Quite a large number of things can send him into a mouth frothing frenzy, but probably one of the easiest ones is how close to a female he looks and sounds.
History: Olaris hails from a noble family with some Nordic origins. It was an incredibly wealthy family with a ranking that was not something to laugh about. However, as the fox grew up, he quickly became annoyed with his life. He utterly despised the pampering. Grew annoyed with allowing servants to handle his soup for him. And most importantly, aggravated with a life style that made him redundant. What was he in his family? His oldest sister would be the next heir to take over when the staff is passed down. His second oldest sibling had become a religious monk. That left him, the baby of the family. Even with all of the private lessons from top tier scholars, he was entirely redundant. No way for his name to be known to the lime light.
At early ages, he had his family sign him up for sword play lessons. And he practiced each day with great ferocity. Finally, when he became old enough to be considered mature enough to leave the city to procure his own devices, he took it swiftly. He left, and never looked back.
Prevalent Skills: Olaris is an excellent two-handed sword fighter, and a brawler who’s seen a ring more than enough times.
Olaris is quite good at negotiating. Something he’s picked up from his pampered life. Though, when negotiations fail, he’s very much capable of intimidation.
Small body: While not always a good thing. It does give him a few advantages. One his opponents tends to underestimate the four foot tall fox with a sword as big as he is. And two, it makes him a target that’s difficult to hit.
Berserking: When this fox looses his freaking mind, he tosses away all sense of reason, and relies on some primal instincts. Well... the instincts of a rabid wolf and a bear put together, instead of a fox. He tends to be much stronger and faster in this state... but again... he looses the ability to reason or rationalize.
Gear:
A standard looking great sword with rivets in the blade closer to the handle.
A highland dirk, with one side of the knife carefully smithed to give the dagger the ability to be used as a slashing weapon as well.
His boiled leather armor. While it’s not fully capable of stopping most strikes… it’s certainly better than nothing.

Race: Undead mutt
Age: Undetermined
Gender: Trans masculine
Primary Combat Style: Close quarters/melee
Description: Medium sized, green, and fluffy. Jude's anatomy is much like that of a werewolf in that his arms are meatier and longer than his legs. He is stockier for his build, sporting a small gut. His fur is green and clotted with dirt in various places, and often time he smells vaguely moldy, earthy, or like rain. Generally, his fur appears to be a sickly green, with his underbelly a shade darker. The left side of his face is a darker blue-green, along with his right arm and left leg, evidently stitched together like some sort of frankenstein's monster. Eyes are a brilliant neon green, as well as the inside of his ears and inner organs. Various injuries/scars attest to his durability, most notably a hole under his left arm on his torso that exposes his ribs, a bandage that likely holds his tail together, and a few slashes on his cheeks that look like a makeshift grin. In addition he has two scars beneath his pectorals and a nose ring. Maggots seem to thrive near some injuries and occasionally are seen clinging to various parts of his mouth, and a few flies circle him. Personality: Generally friendly, curious, and somewhat clumsy. He has no problem playing the role of dumb monster when it suits him. He can have a mischievous streak in him, especially when it comes to the living comparing him to the usual dead suspects.
Background: Little is known about Jude's background. All that can be said is that he wanders the wastelands as a scavenger, as if he is driven by the maggots that infest him. He seems to retain some residual memory of his form, though it seems alien.
Prevalent skills: Given the maintenance he keeps to his form, he has rudimentary medical skills. He is also a very durable and strong fighter in melee combat, seemingly able to survive more than any living thing can. He has enhanced senses of smell and hearing, as well as enhanced speed and strength, which make him a formidable foe and scout.
Gear: None aside from tooth and claw.
Magic (If applicable): Infested by maggots affected by the plague storm. They seem to be endless and disposable, much like some kind of hive mind inhabiting a body.

Hey guys, just an update. I was laid off from my job last night so my posting time is going to be sporadic for awhile, potentially. I'm certainly going to try and keep up my presence here, but I now have to deal with finding a job again and all that jazz.
