Title: Short stories
Post by: Farewell on September 16, 2015, 03:56:55 PM
Share things that had happened in your life, like a short story I guess you can say.  Have fun.
Explain however you like it just has to be a REAL LIFE event is all. ^^

(Ooh~ I like this! Can we put our sonas in our place as main characters? I have a few good stories that are rad as shit ((i think so anyway)) but I feel like it'd be less painful if Acon was living them rather than myself XD )

Pretty sure she meant actual events in real life.

I went snorkeling with my dad off the Napili Bay in Maui several years ago. We were going to an especially rocky area of the bay where large sea turtles tend to congregate and eat the seaweed growing on the sharp volcanic boulders. The current was extremely strong in some parts, and there was no real way to tell before it was too late. I got caught in a current, and if I had not swam out to the side of it, I would have been forced against a rock completely covered in sea urchins. In my haste to get out of the current, I kick a rock, slicing the top middle joint of one of my toes. The cut was really clean, thanks to the rock's volcanic formation. However, you'd be just as surprised as I was to see how much blood could come out of a toe when I got inside our apartment. A considerable amount. It ended up leaving a distinct scar where the cut was, and it will probably never fade by the looks of it. I have no complaints, since it could have ended a lot worse.

((No shit. I mean, are we using ourselves as our main characters in our stories or ourselves? Obviously our sonas would represent ourselves.))

I got pressured into trying snowboarding (I'm normally a skier) and happened to fall and break my arm on the last run of the day, just as I was getting back to normal from the last time too  >.>

Here's a touching story. Once upon the time me and my cousing wanted to snowball fight. But it was summer. We had to improvise. Bricks seemed to be a reasonable substitute for snowballs. And then the fun began. Good thing I scored a headshot first. He bleeded hard, really hard. His whole face and shirt were cover in blood. We never used brick for that purpose again.

Good times

This happened today in class, so the teacher was rambling on bout something but then he goes off topic randomly and asked who knows what anthropomorphic means. And with out thinking I shot my hand up and answered "too give animals human features" and everyone just turned round and stared at me. I was like oh shit they know!!!! X3

So I was about 19 I guess and I had done cross-country skiing before but not downhill and I went on a trip with some friends.  The beginners slope got close for a short while and since I was doing really well I thought I'd give it a go.  Anyway I met a random work friend at the top of the chair lift and followed him down.  But he was more familiar with the run and I was going to fast and went over a small jump and fell breaking my ankle.  As I lay there in pain and small kid, maybe 6 or 7, grabs my lost ski and drops it back to me without missing a beat and she says "There's your ski Miss!" with such a friendly voice.  It was unfair but I really wanted to punch her in that moment! XD

Anyway, it wrecked the trip and my friends bailed on me.
