Hello there~
Welcome to Scarred. The world furs inhabit, Intaroth, is in ruins, thanks to the Accursed, beings of immense dark energy, this energy is known simply as Curse. Curse had spread through the world like a disease, nearly all but a quarter of the world survived and now live in a large colony of ruined buildings and roads, those who survived were lucky to not be infected with Curse, while few were stricken but seemed to have been able to withstand it, these Curse victims are known as Fateds, Fateds all have a black patch of coarse skin with no fur about the size of a quarter somewhere on the body known as Curse Scars, these Curse Scars allow them to imitate some ability of the Accursed, which lead them to be drafted into an army to defend, and someday defeat, the evil beings so that life can continue without fear of complete annihilation. Will you be part of the Fateds? Or will you try to survive within the walls of the colony?

Aiden looked out to the morning horizon, his fur tussled and messy, he blinked and stared out, lost in thought of what the world used to be, he missed it, he missed everything, his curse scar still where it had been, but every morning before he opened his eyes, he hoped anD prayed for it not to be there, for all of this to be just one bad dream.... But it wasn't... It was all very real, and very dangerous, the lightly warm wind flowed through his mess of fur, rustling it softly, he murred and sighed at the feeling, if only it could at least stay like this, he'd be content
-
The sun was rising already?
He glanced out at the distant speck that was the settlement.
Behind him a hulking and steaming body of a fallen Accursed target began to rapidly decompose.
U R Dead shone on the sunlight. Aaron twirled it over his head, faster and faster until it blurred away into nothing. His sharp eyes narrowed. Did he really have to head back? It wasn't like it was any home of his any more.
He sighed. He'd probably be scolded if he didn't report his kill to the wider Fated community.
"A regular band of merry men." H closed his eyes and said sarcastically, trudging back to the community.
-
Ani's mark pulsed, it was familiar, he looked to see the familiar sight of orange fur in the distance, he sighed, Aaron was out nearly all night again, it worried him the way the Curse Pandemic affected him, he frowned as the other came closer to the wall, Ani started to the Fated part of the Colony near the entrance, Aaron was still on his mind, they hadn't talked for the last few hours,
Did ani do something to upset Aaron? He wondered
-
Aaron didn't look at the settlement. He didn't see what he was walking towards as he easily hopped over what debris was in his way.
He eventually neared the gate after maybe half an hour's walking, shouting at the guards to have it open.
-
The large makeshift doors swung open slowly Ani saw Aaron, his tail perked slightly as well as his ears, his paws held together at his chest, he stood there waiting to follow Aaron close behind
-
Aaron's expression softened and he put his paws in his pockets.
"You're up." His usual disenchanted tone varied subtle unfamiliarity, though what that was nobody knew.
He closed his eyes and whistled a high pitch, crudely echolocating his way through the sickeningly familiar cage he called home.
-
"Youve... You've been up... Are you tired?" He looked to him with worry, wanting to hug him tight but knowing not to right now, he followed as close as he could, his ear flattened as he heard the high pitch of Aaron's whistle, "you need to rest..."
-
"I'm fine." Aaron said flatly. "So drop it."
He opened his eyes and summoned U R Dead quickly, hooking up someone's coffee and taking it in his paws as he let it coach the light only to disappear in the flash. He sipped at it.
"Ugh. Pseudo-mocha."
-
He looked down a bit hurt, "okay..." He said normally, he kept following, not really paying attention, a pebble flew out and hit Aaron square in the cheek,
-
Aaron stopped walking. He glanced down and Ickes the pebble irritably away. Where had it com from?
-
A large shadow slowly closed in on Aaron, BAM! He was hit in the jaw with incredible force, a large Wolf female's fist had made contact with its target, "don't you make little Ani bro sad you hear me?!" It was Aria, one of the leader's of the Fated
-
"Oh. You again." Aaron said, rising from the dust and struggling not to try and cut Aria into little tiny pieces. She was only trying to protect Ani after all.
"Don't you have people who ENJOY being bothered to organise and wail on? Or does your excessive obsession with ailing me continue to hold sway over your rational thinking?"
Aaron gave her a long cold glare.
"I eliminated two Accursed last night, one only a few kilometres outside of the settlement. I suggest doing something about it or Ani will have more than me to worry about."
-
Adria put her paws on her hips and nodded, "good to know, I'll send out a few others to check it out, but...." She poked his chest, "you are not allowed outside past midnight, that's an order, understand?" She then leaned in close, her look twice as sinister as Aaron's, "and if I find out you're out, I won't hesitate to kick your butt and drag you back her and lock you up... We don't need anymore lone wolfs here, and you keep ani up with worry, if you knew... " she leaned back and threw her arm around Ani's shoulder,
-
*Zane walking back pulling a wagon that he found after night of scavenging few building. He seen the gate coming in view* Yo. Open up. I coming in.
-
*the doors opened slowly allowing zane through
Ani stood looking at adria confused as to what she said to aaron
-
*Zane walk through the door as it close behind him. He pull the wagon over to a guard to have him check over the item He found.* So anything you think you might need? I found good amount of can food and they still good.
-
Ray stepped out of the small hovel he called his home, and looked about. "A new day." His voice was muffled, his mask obscuring his features.
-
"I'm not with you. I work for you at MY whim. I take pay for jobs I do. But make no mistake. You are not my superior. In ANY sense. If I'm out past midnight, than that's my business." Aaron strode away.
"I'm a fox, too, stupid!"
-
*Zane saw Aaron walk by.* Hey man. Found you a book that I though you might like. *Zane hold up a book on how to fight with blade master class.*
-
"Mm? I don't need this. I have U R Dead, that's all I need." Aaron said flatly though not cruelly.
-
That cool. Thought you might like extra idea on how to use your blade. Well take it easy. *Zane turn back to the guard inspection over His stuff. He just stood as he pull a headphone to listen a tape he just pick up.* Hmm
-
"Tch. Like I can with big sister dumbass on my hind all the time." Aaron grumbled.
-
Ray wandered about, looking for something to eat or something to do.
-
With that comment, Aaron collapsed on the ground unconscious, his atrocious sleeping and eating habits overcoming him.
-
Ani walked along not knowing of Aaron,
A large black wolf strode by and lifted Aaron onto his shoulder,
-
Ray spotted a large wolf transporting an unconscious male, and approached. "Y-You need help with that?"
-
The wolf looked down at ray and blinked, he simply pat ray gently on the head and then carried on
-
*the guard finally were done with checking over his catch of the day and let him by. Zane went to the group office people and began to either give out food or making trade deal for certain item. As well making a list of order that few people ask him to hunt for when he go out again.*
-
Ray blinked, and watched the wolf leave. He sighed, and began to wander around.
-
The black wolf had returned, he looked for ray, scoping the area for the little fur
-
Ray crawled out from under a tarp, and started to look for food.
-
"Hey little one. Here you go." * Zane hand a can of peaches to a child. The child smile as he ran back to his mom.*
-
The black wolf spotted the little scurrier and went to him, he blinks
-
Ray looked up at the wolf. "Yes?"
-
He reaches behind him into his waist pack and pulls out a clipboard with a paper chart labeled, "Soldier Fitness" on the chart was a checklist of requirements needed to be allowed to fight along side those with a curse scar
