The midday sun sits high in the sky, the smell of the ocean hangs in the air. Fisherman and merchants go about there day as a bustle resounds across the peir. The royal forces can be seen here and there in there silver cloaks and steel helms as they keep watch over the city swords at their sides. Ships sit off shore as boats make their way in and out of the peir. And you find yourself here unsure as to why but your here. Something unsettles this town as though a rot has crept into it. Before you lies the city a small fishing village, the streets lined with various shops and filled with furs going about their day. At the citty center stands the monolith that is the cathedral.

Angder glances around, grinning. A nice peaceful place... Angder loves traveling. and places like this remind him why.
The smell of fish was a little unpleasant though, he could do without that.

Maxwell looked around at the small fishing village, glancing at all the furs going about their business. He watched as they did things he didn't care about with people he wasn't particularly interested in. He sneezed at the strong scent of sea salt and fish, sniffling slight;y afterwards.
The sight of the cathedral was a bit of an eyesore, he could without that.

Geoffrey gazed about his new surroundings with a mix of excitement and anxiousness. Perhaps it was a stupid idea to spend so much of the little coin he has just to travel around, but the thrill always kept him in better spirits. He had very little in his pockets now, and he knew this was going to cause issues later, but at the same time he felt it was worth it. He was in a new place with new sights to see, and he was surely getting his money's worth.

As angder took in the view a group of children can be seen playing in the street, an old female cat sits in a chair and watches them as they play
Lucifer notices the stall keep approach as he stuggles to get up
Maxwell is struggles to get up aswell in obvious suprise as he is barreled over
The sounds and smells of the peir washed toward Geoffrey enticing in nature a small shop set up on the edge of the city held wonder in beauty with its quilts of many colors and sizes. A seemingly grumpy badger sat behind it

Maxwell yelped as he fall to the ground, he gently rubbed his head as he sat up. The world seemed to be spinning. "Ow...what in the world?" He was momentarily dazed and had to shake his head to clear his mind a little. He glared at Lucifer. "Mind explaining to me just what that was?"

Angder snarls and starts to move into the streets, but promptly turns a corner to avoid the children, he never liked kids much.

Maxwell slowly stood up and started to walk to walk towards Lucifer. The white wolf was wearing a black robe and his hood was still up, obscuring most of his face. All that could be seen was his muzzle and the sneer was plastered across it. "I'd suggest you apologise." He slowly started to approach Lucifer.

Geoffrey examined the quilts, noting their various patterns and work put into them. His hands weren't steady enough for sewing and similar crafts, so he had much respect for people's patience with such works. Drawing and carving sculptures was more of his thing.
The grumpy-looking badger made him feel a little nervous, but he pushed that aside and continued browsing.

Angder rounds the corner and sees two rough looking men at in the streets they see him and began to approach
Three soldiers appear in the alley when they hear the comotion swords drawn "whats going on here" the biggest one in the middle ask. "hes stolen a fish from that one has" the stall keep points at lucifer
The badger watches Geoffrey "see something you like" the badger grumbled

Angder looks at the two... "Good morning." he states. They looked a little thuggish, but he doubted they would start a fight in the middle of the day. so for now he was fairly calm. "can I help you two?"

Maxwell gets right in Lucifer's face. "Trouble with authority you say?" He thinks for a moment, looking over his shoulder at the soldiers and the stall keep. "Now then gentlemen, I don't see any reason for a commotion. I feel the boy must just be poor and hungry. Look at him. Let him have it, I say."

"Uh, y-yes, but I don't have the money right now," Geoffrey replied to the badger, trying to hide his discomfort. He wasn't ready for conversation.
Now that he thought about it, it would have been useful if he did have the money, for the blanket he brought along with him was pretty worn out. But he'd need to save that money for more important things, like food.

"yeah have you got any money on you" the smaller of the two took the lead as they approached angder. As they got closer he could see that the smaller one was a gator and the larger one was a bull. "he looks like hes got lots of money on him eh" the gator said to the bull
The lead soldier resheathed his sword "you still got the fish young man, you return it and I suppose theres no harm done" he rubbed his chin and looked at the stall keep times are hard after all, especially since..well you know. The stall keeper nodded in agreement if he returns the fish I suppose
The badger got noticeably upset if you havent any money then... the badgers face went blank and his voice took on a cold flat tone watch the soldiers they're looking for you all of you. He shook his head as his expression returned off with you then

"All I have is my axe..." Angder states. "So I am 'fraid I can't help you there."
would be mad to rob me, middle of the fecking day.

Geoffrey lowered his ears upon hearing the badger's words. "o-okay... I-I'm sorry sir..."
He walked away from the shop.
The soldiers are looking for me?, Geoffrey thought, For being without money? Is there a law against vagrancy here? Just my luck...

Maxwell hesitantly shook Lucifer's hand. "Yes...Quite." He pauses as he wipes his paw on his robes then give Lucifer a polite smile. "I don't drink, sorry. You can repay me some other way I'm sure."

The two men approach angder obviously intent on trouble. A tingle runs up angders spine and through his arm. The fur on the back of his arm stands up and a push and pull can be felt in his paw.
A pub can be seen at the end of the street lucifer and maxwell find themselves on
As Geoffrey walks a cold shiver runs up his spine and from seemingly nowhere he hears ever so faintly is it them have they returned, has the blood line come back

Angder tenses, and glances behind him to check behind him. he does not reach for his axe though, that would be overkill. "Look. Middle of the day. Ya really want to try something?" he crouches slightly, ready to fight if he needs to.

Maxwell gently shrugged Lucius's arm off of his shoulder. "The robes? None of your business to be honest. As for why I helped you, that's simple. I do not like the soldiers and I do not like authority being given to those I feel have yet to earn it." He paused for a second. "And please, don't touch the robes. They're expensive and cleaning them is less that fun and you were just holding a fish."

Geoffrey stopped and thought about the words of that voice with curiosity and turned to see who it may have come from.

A faint glow begins to appear in angder palm as glowing bright as the men approach. A whisper runs through the wind use it use it push dont pull. The two men seemed to have not heard it.
Geoffrey sees nobody close enough to have stuck out from the noise of the city the cold tingle returns
As the two walk the the lights flicker on around them breifly and flicker off. Its barely noticeable in the midday sun

Angder jumps back waving his paw around towards the potential attackers. "GAH" he waves his paw about in front of him. "what the hell did you do?" He asks, panicking.

Geoffrey frowned and continued walking. Now he was uncomfortable. He wanted to find a safe place to rest, but since the soldiers are apparently looking for people like him, he had to keep watch.

Maxwell just about notice a slight flicker of the lights, he doesn't react to it. "I don't know why I'm here either. But I am and that's all there is to it." There was a long pause. Maxwell felt it too, thee was something vaguely not right about this village, and he had an idea what it was. "So...about that cathedral..."

A cloacked dragon was praying in the one of the ails. He was kneeling and praying to whatever god would listen to his prayer. His tail swayed ech second in rythm to Drago breathing, his body ached fron the travel but he neverthless ignored the aches and pains. His bow and sworda were concealed behind his massive cloack and his eyes were hidden behind the large black sunglasses that his his scarred eyes.

The glow flies forth from angders paw, a bright light errupts on impact causing a loud chrashing noise. When the light fades the two men are gone as is part of the wall in thenalleyway.
An old sheep approached Geoffrey you're one of them arent you
As maxwell and lucifer walk they notice a dragon praying

Angder yelps, jumps back, and stares at the damage he had done for about 5 seconds. He then runs, terrified, from the alleyway.

Maxwell stared at the praying dragon for a moment, he didn't care much for what he was doing and actually kind of wanted him to stop. He glared at the dragon, eyes boring holes into the back of his head. He cleared his throat loudly.

Geoffrey blinked. "Uh, one of who?"

Drago stood up, but did not turn towards the people who arrived.
" this is a place of holiness and purity, mages have no place here, the ones that rule over do not speak to those who corrupt and decieve".
Drago warned while looking at the centre isle towards the empty tabanacle.
" what is it that you wish to talk about" Drago asked as his clocked body turned and faced the newcomers. His grey cloacked moved with him. The dragon wore a pair of black glaases that obscured his eyes, however there were signs of massive scarring across the young dragon.

Angder flees but runs headlong into a soldier coming to invetigate the noise. whats going on here, who are you what was that noise? he makes a grab for angder.
As the the three chat a strange looking creature approaches. It has a hood pulled up hiding most of its face but you can see a canine like muzzle sticking out.
The old sheep began inspecting Geoffrey. yes yes yes your one of them id recognize a weilder for sure. she suddenly looked around panicky you mustn't let them find you now go go, find the others they need your help. she pushed Geoffrey towards the center of town.

"A-a-Weilder?" Geoff asked as he went the direction he was pushed, terribly confused. "I-I don't understand..."

"Nnnn-nothing" Angder stammers. "I mean... erm" he jumps back dodging the grab, he glances around. "A pair of thugs tried to attack me... so I ran away." He states, backing away.

Drago looked at the newcomer and just ignored them. He walked by them without a second glance, but as he reached the massive oak doors he stopped and looked over his shoulder, " i am not from here, fate has intertwined me to this place, i have no idea why so i was hoping that someone from up high would answer...but there is nothing, so there is something coming that's for sure".
Drago opened the doors like it was nothing and walked into the street. Drago fixed his large cloak and Sunglasses to conceal more of his body and looked around.
'Now then fate, would you show me the path i need to follow' Drago thought.

Maxwell stood there for a second, waiting for Drago to leave. He held his hand out to Lucius, flexing his fingers. "You, hand me your blade." He finally lowered his hood with his other hand and smiled widely, glancing around at the inside of the cathedral. "I have an idea thanks to that gentleman's kindly tone." His words were filled with biting sarcasm. "He shall see what I think of his deities..."

The soldier draws his sword and moves toward angder. thugs, show me where
The sheep pushes Geoffrey into the crowd go go find the others watch out for soldiers. Youll know when you see the others, dark times these you can change them all of you. The sheep seems to vanish.
Two soldiers stand outside the cathedral when drago emerges, the hooded figure sits down on a bench in the back of the cathedral and seems to be praying but not in a language known to any.

Nervously, Angder leads the soldier back to where the thugs were. "Erm... they were right here..."

Maxwell gripped the knife tightly in one hand, slowly pulling up his sleeve and places the blade to his wrist, slicing his wrist. His blood started to trickle down his wrist and onto the floor. He winced in pain but the grin still remained. The blood started to pool up then seemed to twitch. It slowly formed a ball and floated into the middle of the room Maxwell pushes his hand out and the ball exploded, blood hitting most of the walls, windows and the floor. He then pulled his sleeve back down and handed Lucifer the knife.
"Thank you, friend"

Drago could smell the blood, and feel the magic of the darkness, a magic that just corrupt a place of purity. Drago turns around and looks up at the ornamental windows that showed various religious events and images.... but they were splattered with the accursed blood of the mages, who had defiled the cathedral.
Drago could barley contain his fury, " i will kill all the Dark Mages even if it will kill me, they are all the same" drago muttered angrily and began walking back up the steps of the cathedral slowly and precisely in his movement. He began drawing his crystal and steel sword as he moved forward. His cloak parted and two swords began scratching their sharp edges as drago dragged them through the open door.
The Dragon entered the cathedral and stood at the entrance, his eyes burning with rage, his grip held his swords so tightly it hurt Drago alot.

" What have you done" Drago demanded

Geoffrey continued walking aimlessly not too far from the cathedral.
How the heck am I supposed to know who I'm looking for?
He shook his head. The other command, though, he understood and was already doing that. Watch for soldiers. Can't be caught.
And sure enough, he looked toward the cathedral and noticed the soldiers standing outside. Uh oh.
The bear turned away from it and kept walking along with the crowd like a normal civilian.

Maxwell did not turn to face Drago. "I merely repaid your...Kindness. I very much feel that this should teach you to watch your tongue and especially around those who may be quick to anger. He only asked you a question, there was no need to be so...hostile."

by the gods what happened here. The soldier stood mouth hanging open surveying the damage to the the wall and alley. He knelt down and looked at the ground were two boot impressions had been burnt into the ground. thks could only be one thing. He swung his blade around and faced angder.
A ball of hot blinding light flies past the group and explodes on the wall blowing it outward with a loud bang as bricks and mortar come tumbling down. The explosion is felt throughout the city as half the wall crumbles. The stranger is now standing with his hood pulled down revealing a twisted grotesque werewolf looking creature. His still smoking palm directed at them. He opens his mouth and roars revealing rows of razor sharp teeth. A cold seems to settle over the group.
A cold tingle runs up Geoffreys spine as the city is rocked by the explosion

"Wh.... what... I... I did not do anything I swear." Angder raises his paws in the air and backs away.

Geoffrey jolted at the explosion and he turned to stare in awe at the damage. He could just see the figures in the wreckage, and he was pretty sure they had something to do with it.
This is about the "weilder" thing, isn't it? He thought in terror, What in the world is up with this place?!
He began to run away from the area.

Maxwell stared over at the newcomer and the wall he had just recently destroyed. He looked a little disappointed. "I just made a mess of that wall...and you went and broke it. Ah well." He was doing his best to ignore the cold feeling of dread settling over him. "So...What was that for?" Blood was still slowly dripping from Maxwell's wrist.

It had been a relatively good day for Perry Walker. The sun was relatively shining and the wind had been blowing relatively towards the ocean. He had also been in relatively less trouble than any other day where someone would try to steal from him and he would have to do things that apparently didn't work in a court of law. The new sword on his belt seemed to be part of this new luck? It was big and shiny and made people think twice perhaps about wrongdoing him.
A few street or two back there has been a kerfuffle with someone and a few soldiers but didn't seem like anything worth stopping and interrupting this relatively good day. Of course suddenly there was a loud explosion from a few streets back. Perry turned to see what was going on. The rest of the crowd seemed to do the same and some people were even running away from where the explosion had happened.
Perry ran to see what was going on. With an explosion that big, there's going to be survivors that need help.

*Zane walking around after getting off a ship. His shadow swipe some Apple as he walk by. After he gotten far enough away, his shadow hand him th apples that it grab fo him. He seen there a major blood damge to the Cathedral. He look up at the building and shook for a moment. He spoke to himself lowly* Well. It was either me or someone. Hehehe. *He look around for something to do.*
*As he look around, there was explosion shook him.* What in the mud? *He seen someone running toward the dirtecion that explosion happen until he stop and went into the pile of rumble. He help someone out. Zane figured to help out and find out what goin on so he began to walk closer. His shadow start to bring him in to his ankle in case he need to beat it in hurry.*

" you speak of kindness, like your kind even knows what that means...." Drago coldly replied, his swords were shaking, not in fear but in anger.
But Drago gave a small smile, " however i to am quick to anger, and i hold grudges better than everyone".
*Lucifer made his move*
Drago smile disappeared, and his face darkened; Drago then himself made his move against his foes.
For a Creature of his build, Drago was faster than most, and his skill in combat is what saved him many times. Drago dashed forward and used his crystal sword to send the bayonet and its blade upward away from him, and thus allowing him to pass lucifer without a glance, he was just in the way, and dashed forward quickly towards xandar.
All external elements were blocked by Drago, he only cared for one thing, and one thing only at this point, and that was to kill the Mage.
Drago used on of the wooden pews as a launch pad, his clawed feet steped on the seat and sent him forward towards Xandar. Drago drew back his swords and prepared to use both of them to scissor Xandar's head from his body.

The glow once again returns to angders paw. It rockets forward into the soldier, the explosion seems more controled this time incinerating the soldiers and only partly damageing the alley. A cold wind rushes over him in the enclosed alley "its him theyve returned".
As Geoffrey ran a gust wind struck him. A voice he recognized as the sheep from earlier came from nowhere. dont be afraid young one you have more potentail than you realize, they need you its gonna take all of you. the voice was calm and soothing
As perry and zane approaches he can see the front of the cathedral completely collapsed a loud roar can be heard inside. Furs run in every directions. The tower threats to topple over.
The creature roars and jumps covering the distance in one move kicking drago. He lands and turns his attention to maxwell, he sinks his rows of teeth into maxwells shoulder. Lucifer turns invisible but doesnt seem to notice it

Angder stares at his paw. "I.. I just... no... NO." Angder stands there, staring at his hand. It was him... he had murdered the thugs... and then the guard in cold blood.
He did not even know how.

Geoffrey stopped in his tracks and thought for a long moment. He took a breath.
"Y-yeah..."
He wasn't defenseless. He at least had some experience in magic, and he could put it into good use here. Besides, he didn't have anything to really lose.
He began heading back to the ruined cathedral, making sure not to run too hard. He needed all the energy he had.

Maxwell yelps out loudly, blood rising from his shoulder then splashing itself right in the beast's eyes, a move which should blind, even if only for a moment. He then drew his sword from it's sheath. "You vile creature...How dare you even lay a paw on me, let alone ruin these robes!" He was going to kill this beast, it had offended him.

*Zane watch the large creature fight with the other fur. He sank into his shadow to move out of the way as he move to the rubble shadow nearby. He wait for a chance when the creature get near him and watch to understand how the creature fight.*

Perry gasped at the destruction, a loud roar offsetting him as he approached the crumbling cathedral, leading him to draw his sword.
"What the hell is that?" he thought to himself as he gathered his wits.
A sharp chill shot down Perry's spine as he gazed upon the cathedral from a distance, another roar bellowing from inside.
People were still running away as chaos ensued. Several bodies were strewn across the street, trampled from the rush to get away or from falling debris as others were simply crushed by it.
The tower would soon collapse either over the remains of the cathedral ,or the street, or both.
There was no turning back now...
Perry ran up to the cathedral to face whatever was within.

Drago slammed into one of the Cathedrals hard walls, he slammed right through the front of the cathedral and onto the streets, with Drago was winded from the impact and started to see stars in his peripheral vision as he steadied himself by using his crystal to dig into the hard cobblestone road. His swords, thankfully, were still in his hands. Drago looked and snarled at the cathedral, " i cannot catch a break it seems" Drago gasped as he slowly rose back up, and gave a loud roar in challenge.
Drago began making his way back into the Cathedral.

A cool settled around angder they need you, beware the threat is great. Not with out them all, no chance with out them all. Do not be afraid young one.
Geoffreys muscle tense as he runs, it seems as though he is becoming stronger, the cool surrounds him.
The gust of wind strikes maxwell blood, burns fire changes, crimson freezes.
To lucifer the wind rushes look within see what they do not
As perry approaches the tower shifts several feet towards him and zane and several furs fleeing in terror. Perrys blade glows a crimson red. Six soldiers approach zane weapons at the ready, the wind batters against him. you know already its there use it, in the dark is found the answer.
The cold settles over drago. give it to him let him see. his muscles burn and appear to swell the street give slightly below him.
The creature jumps back howling in pain. His eyes burst into flames and burn a cold blue. He open his palms and expose razor sharp claws as he advances on maxwell

Geoffrey arrived at the cathedral, somehow feeling energized. Right as he approached did he see the creature leap at Maxwell.
The bear held his hand out.
"ZAKROR!"
A bolt of lightning soared toward the beast.

Maxwell backed up slightly, his sword raised, ready to strike if the beast got too close to him. He glanced around for Lucifer then barked out for him when he couldn't find him. "You! Did I not help you earlier? You still have a debt to me that you have yet to repay. Do it now!" He groaned as he tried to ignore every impulse in his body that wanted him to just neglect Drago's help in anyway. "And you, religious one! We may have our differences but this is a real problem. Act like a grown up and help!" He looked a little confused as he heard the voice. Erm...Excuse me? Okay what the heck was that? What does that mean? I'll...keep note of it.

*Zane shook his head to rid the voice in his ear as he pull out a flash launcher as he shoot it in the air. Blinding the soldiers as he move toward them to blend into their shadow. One by one, they disappear into their own shadow to never be heard again. Zane shook his head from the aftereffect of using th flash launcher. (Basilly a gunpowder mix with other in a bag to make a big flash and the launcher is a crossbow. It alway in his bag if he need it). He thought to himself* <What was that voice talking about?>

The cold settles over drago. give it to him let him see. his muscles burn and appear to swell the street give slightly below him.*
Drago stopped and looked around for the source of the voice, but saw nothing that would indicate who it was, the ground began cracking under his weight and Drago looked curiously down.
' Have the gods answered finally", Drago thought confused, , i shall make him see the errors of his way as i show him my abilities to end those who are evil'. Drago smiled as he began to enter the Cathedral. A shot rang through the holy place and the wall was hit by a speeding bullet, Drago glanced over and just kept walking now, his eyes squarely on Maxwell.

"Afraid..." Angder mumbles... "I... you... Someone just murdered 3 people..." Angder carefully places his hands in his pockets. "What... do you want with me?" He whispers.

Perry was close to the cathedral when he saw someone get flung out though a wall before brushing it off and walking back in. The wall must have been load bearing as the tower started crumbling. It was going to fall on the street and the few stragglers that were trying to see what was going on.
"Get off the street!" He screeched, "The tower!"
He didn't even notice the glowing red of his sword.

The creature is sent flying acrossed the catherdral as Geoffreys lightning strikes it, it bounces off some pew and falls behind them.
one of them one of them, they need you. the gust brushes over angder again. A small light appears before angder and hovers in front of him, it slowly turns and takes the form of an old sheep. what are you waiting for young one. she smiles and looks toward the cathedral.
The blood maxwell splattered on the wallls began to smolder and slowly begans to burn igniting seemingly on its own.
Shadow come from all corners and surround zane. The seem to bend to his will.
Perrys swords glows brighter as he spoke the aura began to cut into the street as it grew.
The wind rushes over lucifer calm, focus you must focus a small group of soldier enter the catherdral and stand directly in front of him gasping in horror at the sight before them. They do not see lucifer.
The creature burst forth from behind the pew and charges toward Geoffrey shouting in a strange langauge. Geoffrey is able to make a few words kill them.......no surviors............king.......reign............forever
Drago is batter by the wind once again choose wisely your enemy young one. a soldier charges at him weapon raised

*Zane Look around in confuses at the amount of shadow that grew under his power.* That way more then I ever could do. *Zane smile and look toward the other fur fighting* But I take it. *He yell at the other fur as He ran toward one* Yo. Who need help? *He sent some of the shadow toward the beast in hope of slowing it down.*

Geoffrey heard the words but didn't have time to try to piece them together. He leaped to the side, tossing a fireball at the beast.
"FYOH!"

Maxwell spotted Geoff and watched as the beast charged at him, he assumed that he was the person who just helped him out, whether it was an accident or not he decided he should repay the favour. He thrust the arm he cut the wrist of outwards, sending what can only be described as a blast of his own blood at the creature with enough force to make it stumble, maybe even fall. He wobbled a little and his head started to feel light and woozy. "Oh...I think I overdid it." He looked up at the walls and saw his own blood burning for no reason that he could figure out. "Yeah...Yeah, I definitely overdid it..."

The tower started collapsing on the street. Perry screeched to a halt as the small crowd realized their doom and demise as they ran to any shelter they could find.
It was in this moment that Perry's sword felt very still, almost as though it was so sharp that it was being supported by the air it was cutting. Time almost slowed for him as he examined the situation and the great tower bricks fell to crash into he street below.
Perry held his sword and with a great shout slashed at the horizon towards the falling debris.
"Ei!"

Angder gulps, and follows the sheep. Unsure what to think... As soon as this was over he was leaving town... He had to make sure he murdered no-one else...
Whatever had happened, he had to understand it before endangering more people.

Drago merely galned over at the charging soldier and Drago knew how to defeat the foe.
As the sword came down, Drago stepped backwards and flicked his wrist upwards, sending his blades upwards to parry the enemies blade and send him flying upwards into the air spinning. In quick succesion, Drago used his right foot to attack the Soldiers knee by hitting behind the knee and sending him to ground. Drago then smashed the soldiers face in with his handle of the Crystal blade, knocking him out and causing his nose to break, " sorry" drago whispered to the unconscious soldier.
The enemies blade landed next to him, its blade embedded in the stone, but Drago just ignored it and instead looked at one of the stained glasses that was untouched by the mages defilement,
"Make up your bloody mind, you are trying to stop me fighting with the SOB but for God's Sake, forgive me ( he speaks apologetic and quieter), what in the world do you want" Drago yelled.

The creature struggled against the restraints of the shadow that bound it, it hissed and roars as it stood helpless to fight back well Geoffreys fire ball slammed into it send it and the shadows sailing back into the cathedral. Maxwells blood ignited and burned as the creatures pass through it sticking to the creature as it did.
As the creature flew back into the crumbling catherdral the shadows rush backed to zane.
The creature narrowly avoids maxwell as it flies past.
A cold force swells up in Geoffrey and appears to draw his attention to the cut on maxwell.
As the sheep leads angder to the battle raging outside the cathedral she speak fire burns, water flows,earth shifts, air moves. as they arrive at the battle she turns to angder and smile. She lifts her arm and points to a pile of rubble. earth shifts, do not fear your power young one
Perry swings his blade unleashes a blade of energy that widens and grows as it flies in an arching path toward the rubble incinerating everything in its path. The remaining rubble crashes to the ground causing very little injury to the fleeing furs.
they mean to kill you. the wind rushes over lucifer as he stands watching the soldiers. They appear to be frozen in fear wtching the fight. Their nerve seems more unsettled as the creature is sent flying back into the crumbling catedral.
The wind moves past lucifer and continues its journey to drago youll need him and he'll need your strength
The creature burst forth completely engulfed in flame as a large group of soldiers storm into the cathedral square. Their attention shifts from the creature to the group fighting it.

Angder snarls. "My 'power' killed innocents. You know that right."
Reluctantly, Angder raises his hand, and points it at the rubble... waving it slightly. trying to affect the rubble somehow...
He still had no clue how his powers worked.

Geoffrey took note of Maxwell's cut and wobbling, then looked back at the creature and soldiers around them. Too many.
Far too many things going on around him. That cut looked easy enough to heal, but he needed to stay focused on the spell, which was pretty much impossible when he could be attacked at any time.
He backed up closer to Maxwell and turned to him, gently grabbing his arm. "L-let me..."
He hovered his hand over Maxwell's cut and tried to tune everything out for a few moments. The wound stung a little as it gradually began to seal up.

Maxwell panted heavily, his posture was getting sloppier, more amateur, less guarded. His vision was starting to go fuzzy and blurred. All the sounds around him became dulled. He tried to reach a hand out and draw back some of the blood he already used but it wouldn't come. He was already too weak for that. He glanced at Geoff as he healed the cut on his wrist. He tried to shake his head and put an arm on Geoff's shoulder. "B-blood...Need..." The words collided with each other in his mind as he tried to form them, causing him to merely confuse himself. This was serious, he had **censor** up. He needed to fix this fast. He spoke more insistently this time. "Blood. Give. Me. It."

Geoffrey shook his head as he continued to concentrate on the spell. The situation made it difficult to heal well enough, but he aimed to at least stop the bleeding. However, the healing seemed to go faster and use less energy than normal. Apparently he was getting better at it.
"I-I know, I can't do that..." he answered Maxwell, not understanding what he actually meant. "wh--j-just, let's--sit down and rest."
He gently tried to push him toward the nearest a pile of rubble for cover.

Maxwell groaned and went to grab Geoff by the collar, fumbling as he tries and just smacks his head into Geoff's shoulder. "I need it for magic. So if you could...just please let me have some." He didn't have time for this, Geoff pretty much just looked like an obscure shape to him at that moment.

"O-oh-oh! Uhh..."
Geoffrey tried to think of something, his gaze bouncing around the ruins until it fell upon one of the dead soldiers.
"H-here," he said, pulling Maxwell toward the body. "there's blood here, th-this guy, h-he dun need it..."

Drago's head lowered to the ground, as if comprehending something, he was torn. He stood there for a few seconds, ignoring the conflict and destruction and then suddenly rose his head in a roar his mind made up. He ripped of his massive cloak by the shoulder and threw it to the ground, then he grabbed his glasses in his left armed hand by his thumb and index and crushed his suunies shattering them and letting them fall to the ground.
Drago stood there for a second, and looked around at the battlefield.
Drago eyes were blood red, no irises or no pupils, just blood red were his eyes. His face was a mess with massive scars marking his skin vertically over his eyebrows and eyes, all the way down to his cheeks, they were both precise and ragged, there were eleven scars in many different sizes.
His chest, his legs, his arms, his shoulders, his back, everything oh his scaly body was covered in black and white tattoo's with alchemy and spell casting related stuff littering his body, with horrendous scars also included in the mix. Even Drago's hidden angel wings were covered in this writing, the wings that Drago hid beneath his giant cloak. His scales were completely black and occasionally white in certain areas, their were shapes, images and words written in calligraphy. On his back was a giant circle with the number 44 clearly written in bold black writing were eteched between his two wings.
Drago made his choice, he would help but he needed answers and he was going to beat the bloody Defiler until he remembers Drago's harsh lesson.
Drago looked over at the defiler, " you want blood you can have it" Drago called Angrily. Around where his heart was, was a massive scar surrounded by two circles on his scaled skin, one inside the other. Between the circles was these words, "But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being". The scar began seeping red blood, as if obeying the command of Maxwell, his need for his magics source of energy, and the circles began glowing a feint white, and appeared to be spinning, like they were alive. The blood began seeping and slithering its way over to Maxwell, dodging the people and the wooden pews of the cathedral as well as the rubble, and it surrounded its masters body, like a snake, curling and slithering over his body.
Drago then glanced over Geoffrey, " you'll need this to" he yelled. His hand rose up and his palm was pointed directly at Geoff. The Tendrils that covered his arm glowed red and steam began being produced, the words “Energy is the essence of life" were appearing on his palm, written in small calligraphy, it seemed to emit steam like it was some burn. A steam began bellowing to the call of the exhausted mage and began seeping into the skin of Geoffrey and began rejuvenating the Anthro with new energy.
Drago warmed his body up after the great strain and began walking towards the center of the battle, ready to kill, his hands gripped his blades as his battle would commence. He was going to kill the Monsters with his bare hands if he had to, that's what the voice asked.

*Zane saw the shadow rushing back toward him. He put his arm in front of his face out of natural instinct. When the rolling shade connect him, he was thrown back into a wall.* ..........ow.

Perry's mouth gaped open in disbelief of what he'd just achieved. His sword still glowed, however now dull unlike the brilliant red from before. He would need to figure out what happened and ignored the fact that he possibly just saved a bunch of people.
"Cool sword" he thought to himself, suddenly feeling slightly fatigued and unable to come up with an interesting thought.
Perry held his sword to his side and caught his breath as he affixed himself towards the cathedral.
There were sounds of battle coming from inside, however not the typical clash of steel.
"There will be answers inside" he said to himself under his breath as he walked on towards the source of the destruction, his sword glowing a shade brighter.

As angder watched the rubble shifted slightly and the pile stirred like a sleeping giant. focus young one. the sheep seemed to have vanished but her voice remained.
As Geoffrey tended to maxwell blood began to pool in his palm seemingly floating just about his skin. The blood from drago merged with it. The gust of wind returned this time with no voice. The blood of all the fallen seemed to stand out in sharp contrast against the rest of the world to Geoffrey.
The creature moves slowly toward Geoffrey and maxwell. Suddenly the creature stopped, it stuck its nose in the air and sniffed aking in the scents of the blood in the air. It roared a foul roar as it turned on its pads and charged toward drago. It dropped down an all fours as it ran roaring exposing it rows of razor sharp teeth.
The shadows wrap themselves around zane pulling him back up to his, as he watches one even seems to smiles at him. Well as much as a shadow can smile. They surround his entire body leaving a shadow with dimmension standing where he was.
One man steps forward from the group of soldiers. its them, by the gods the king isnt completely mad its the weilders. he 4urned and grabbed the nearest soldier by the collar of his armor, pulling him forward he gave him a shove towards perry. get him kill them all, you there he pointed to 10 of the soldiers see if theres more in the cathedral. the men ruched into the cathedral weapons at the ready. The others followed their commanders lead as he advanced on maxwell and Geoffrey. The lone soldier cautiously approached perry

Drago stopped his advance and turned to face thr monster, Drago's blood red eyes showed no fear. His blades lowered until they were at a depression of 45 degrees pointed towards the monster, his blades were steady and shown brilliantly in the light that poured through the cracks of the cathedrals broken ceiling. " i never feared death, but i fear the darkness that shrouds it" Drago whispered, "but as long as their is light to shine my parh, i will never faulter and never die.
Drago charged towards his foe, his blades trailed behind him kicking up sparks as he moved, the surface of the cathedrals floor was being destroyed as the blades carved into the hard surface.

Angder focuses, then turns to the monster, and attempted to fling the rubble into it. He was still scared, and had not noticed the city watch closing in around the other Weilders, he was focusing entirely on his powers

Maxwell almost instinctively drew in the blood from Geoffrey and Drago, it flowed into him through the wound in his shoulder, the recovery was almost instantaneous. His sight and hearing became sharper straight away and he sat up swiftly. He stared bemused at Drago for a moment. "He actually helped me? There goes my world view." He noticed the tattoos all over Drago's body and his eyes went wide. He grinned widely, he had to know what that was about, he had to learn to use it. Maybe it would make him powerful, extremely powerful even. He gave the soldiers that had advanced on him and Geoffrey a dismissive glance. "Excuse me gentlemen, but I am a busy man and you're being a bit of an annoyance." He as much blood as he could from the dead bodies near him and sending it crashing into the soldiers like a wave in an attempt to sweep them off their feet. He rolled his eyes as he heard what Drago's little religious rant, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Could you not? Just for this exact moment in time?"

Perry paused at the Soldiers coming from behind him.
"Weilders?" He thought to himself as he turned to face the soldier that had been shoved towards him.
"I'm not your enemy" Perry said as he assumed a defensive stance. He didn't want to have to hurt or kill the protectors of his home town as his father has been a part of the guard before an untimely death.
The soldier was also probably better trained with a sword than Perry and would be more steadfast, but seemed startled when talked to of the weilders.
Perry would have to disarm and knock out the soldier.
"I'll end you before you bring your darkness" stuttered the soldier as he lunged his sword towards Perry who parried it, surprisingly with ease, and grabbed the soldier's sword arm, tripping him to the ground.
"I'm sorry" Perry said as he stomped on the guard's helmet with all his weight, knocking him out.
Perry gathered himself and made another move towards the cathedral.

*Zane smile back at the smiling shadow as he welcome a familiar but loving feeling as they covers him. He seen one of the guard nearby. He quickly move and caught that guard. Zane pull the guard into the shadow.* You have few moment before the shadow around us eat you. If you tell me what goin on. I let you go and I swear that on my mother. *He listen while watching the guard grew scared but not answering* Tick tock-*He said as the smiling shadow open their mouth to show many row of sharp teeth waiting to devor him.*

Geoffrey stared as the soldiers approached and looked every which way, growing panicked.
He still couldn't understand why they were attacking them, especially him. What the heck is a weilder? What does that have to do with him? He was just a pathetic vagabond with a weak grasp of magic! Why did he of all people have to get wrapped up in this?
"Wh-wh--I--"
He took a breath and exhaled. He had no time to worry about that. The soldiers likely would not listen to him, but he did not want to fight them unless he had no other choice.
He held his hands up in the air.
"Please! I don't understand what's going on! I-I m-mean no harm!"

With a quick push off of its foot the creature luanched itself at drago its teeth snapping as it snarled at him.
The pile of rubble shifted and several pieces lifted and wobbled in the air. As angder focused they flew threw the air into several soldier, one piece flew towards the creature and drago.
Maxwells blood burned as it travled sticking to the soldiers burning them. More blood pooled in his palms
A small detachment of soldiers changed their course as they moved towards perry. kill the weilder! the commander shouted after them. One man approached carrying a large steel hammer. He raised it on high and swung at perry.
A stone tablet can be seen from where lucifer stands below what was once an alter.
please no I have children, your one of them. The prophecy said you would return. The weilders, the king has no intentions of giving up power. the soldier thrashed wildly as he watched the shadow approach.
The commander looked over at the soldier as they surrounded Geoffrey. what are you waiting for kill him now. the soldiers raised their weapons and charged at Geoffrey.

Peering at the surrounding soldiers, Geoffrey finally realized his fears were true; he really had no choice in this.
He pushed his hands outward, casting his fire spell through each palm.
"FYOH!"

Angder snarls, he had hit another batch of innocents. He lowers his arms. "Screw this magic." Angder grabs his axe off his back, and charges at the monster. for the moment he would not use his magic except in emergencies. He swings it down at the creature. "DIE FIEND" He grins as the Adrenalin takes over.

Leave this battlefield now and you will live for another day. *The large blob of shadow move away but it turn smaller until it was Zane body as it left the pale shaken guard. He walk until he was in the building shade. Watching the battle around him to understand what goin on. Listen for any other info*

Maxwell sighs and raises a finger as if to say something to the soldiers just as Geoffrey cast his fire spell. He lowered the finger and looked down at Geoffrey. "I feel you were slightly rash but you tried. No matter. They were in our way." He quickly rose to his feet and pointed at the commander, his dull green eyes filled with fire as he glared at him. "You there! I have no respect for you, or your men. However I would appreciate it you stop throwing them at us as if they are fodder like the coward you are. Stop wasting men and call off this farce immediately. That or try to kill us yourself and die. It's as simple as that. We aren't your enemy, in fact we aren't even an organised group, we are a bunch of confused idiots caught in a situation we have little control over." He paused, staring at the blood in his hand, willing it to ignite like the rest, hoping he had some semblance of control over that, it seemed he did as the blood set alight and boiled in front of his hand. "I ask you again...Call off the attacks, or fight us yourself and die like a man."

Drago kept charging at the monster and when the beast was in the air, it exposed itself, unable to move in the air, Drago couldn't help but show a ghost of a smile. Drago rose up his blades and directed the both of them so that the beast would run itself through them and impale itself. The crystal blade was more forward then the steel but they were even leveled, and created a triangle.
But something big flew towards him, Drago saw it as a excessively large piece of ornate stone, rubble from the cathedral it seems. Drago had to make a split second decision. As the rubble came within his reach Drago dropped his left blade, steel, and managed to punch the rubble exterior towards the Monster and away from Drago, he had not enough force to completely change the trajectory but he certainly was able to send the rock straight at the creature skull, where it smashed into the beast and send it flying into the cathedral wall.
' hope the things dead, Drago though as he gripped his blade of the floor and looked at the soldier, contemplating whether to help them or wait to see how the situation unfolds.

"Damnit" shouted Perry as he narrowly evaded a swing from one of the soldiers' hammers.
"I'm not the enemy!"

Fire twisted and burned its way through the soldiers as Geoffreys fireballs level every soldier in thier path bringing a quick death to many. Fear began to get the better of many of the soldier as they dropped their weapons and ran in terror. Some stood in defiance, other stood outta some sense of duty.
The soldier snarled watching zane walk away from him, his pride had been hurt and he wouldnt allow for that. He gabbed his weapon and made a quick dash for zane thrusting theblade at his gut. die you damn weilder.
Whether it was stupidity or duty it was unclear but the commander raised his weapon and leveled it at maxwell. first I kill you than every last one of your filthy friends, the weilders will never stand in the throne room. he looked to Geoffrey, im gonna cut those hands from you.
The creature creature stood once more, it roar came as little more than a half hearted attempt that could scare no more than a mouse. It switched is gaze beween angder and drago clawing weakly at the air. Blood ran heavy from it soaking the floor beneath its feet, it wobbled several time before collapsing in a heap in its own blood.
A soldier that had snuck into the cathedral during the fighting stood and watched as the tablet appeared to move on its own. I know your there, he resheathed his weapon as he spoke, not all here are your enemy gather your friends and meet me at the stables in the north of the city. he turned and strode out of the cathedral watching for fellow soldiers as he did.
The soldier spun his hammer around through the air and brought it back down towards perry once again. Two more soldiers approached him from the sides.

Maxwell thrust the bloody fireball in his hand directly at the commander's face. "What a pity. I hope you find that you have no regrets as your life amounts to nothing." His words seemed to ring hollow, his face showed no signs of despair at the fact the commander had rejected the chance to surrender. He glanced in the direction of the creature and drew a large amount of blood from it's wounds, the blood thrusting through the air past Drago and Angder and slamming into the commander at high speeds. "I don't have the time, nor the patience to play this game, sir."

Angder slams his axe into the thing... the head comes off. Angder nods satisfied, and then glances around at the rest of the chaos. "w... what the heck?" He blinks, having no idea what to do, or whose side he should be on.

*The shadow that covered his body told Zane that danger behind him. His tail grab his sword and jab outward into the guard belly.* I gave you a chance. I guess that family you were talking about wasn't important enough. *He turn his head to look at him before he die.* I be sure to let them know that. *He spin as his sword rip out the side. The guard knees down, trying to hold his part inside of himself. Zane walk to him as th guard slowly look up at him.* You are one the worse on my list as you just made your children fatherless. You live.......ling enough for the pain. *The shadow on Zane body reach out and pull the dumb fur into the shaded world with it. The mouth open to slowly devor him. The guard scream as he pull in and slowly ate. Zane turn and walk away, leaving a trail of blood* Little fool.

Drago glanced at the monster impressed, but as tge creature fell yet again, Drago's face turned sour, "bloody pussy" he muttered.
Drago surveyed the battlefield, "now the question i must ask is what the hell is going on" drago asked to no one i particular.

Perry wasn't sure if he could take three on at once. It wasn't like he could distract them and he wasn't sure that submitting to them would be the best idea. He needed away to take them out without hurting them if it meant knocking them out or evading them.
Perry dodged the hammer as it came down and used the split-second opening to ram himself into the soldier and grab him around the neck with the pit of his elbow and pivot into a sleeper hold. The other Soldiers wouldn't attack with fear of hurting their comrade.
"Take one more step and I break his neck" Perry said, trying to stay as calm as possible, his heart racing. He was of course bluffing as he didn't want to hurt them. If they made a move, he would finish the sleeper hold and run for it.

Geoffrey disliked fighting and especially hated killing, and saw no direct attackers. He took this chance to flee for cover and rest for a moment. He would have tried to flee, but apparently he was supposed to stay with these people, and given that they were in the center of town, he would likely be destroyed if he attempted to leave alone. He mentally prepared himself for any healing he may need to do.

The commander screamed andhowled in pain as he burned. He took several steps towards maxwell as he did, defiant to the end.
The wind rushed through the area. The group heard the voice as a whole this time. follow the helper look to the thief.
The soldiers seeing there commander burn and fall to the ground fled in terror. Many scrambling over each other in panic screaming about the wielders. The soldier in perry grip struggled and pleaded for his life.
Lucifer felt the cold settle over him as his form slowly returned. when you need it focus will be the key.

Angder watches Zane... he was torturing his victim... sadistically destroying him, and letting him feel the pain. In an instant he knew who to side with. "Oh. You are going down." He holds out his left paw, and tries to pull out the ground below Zane... or disintegrate him by accident. Angder really did not care which.
He then looks at the fleeing soldiers. "Oh... well..." he smirks. "I have had worse odds."

Perry maintained the hold on the soldier who seemed to be starting to panic as his comrades abandoned him.
He lightly tightened his grip "Answer me one question then I'll let you go"
The soldier gagged and flailed his arms a bit "ocgggghkay" he spluttered
"What is a Weilder?"

Drago strolled towards Perry, his blood red eyes fixed on him, his swords trailed behind his as he approached, Drago ready for anything.
" let him go, i doubt a simple grunt knows anything of worth, asking a random child on the street will get you the same result no doubt" Drago ordered, his tone was serious and agressive. He was extremly pissed the cathedrals once holy and sacred structure jas been defiled and destroyed.
"Also" Drago begins looking skywarda, "who is the bloody help and who is bloody theif Almighty, make sense for gods sake".

Perry gave a stare of death towards Drago. Who the hell was this guy? The audacity!
"He knows what it will take for his freedom" Perry said very directly. trying not to show the sudden anger in his voice. He momentarily tightened his grip. This was probably the only chance of finding out the King's intentions and what he had against the Weilders.

Maxwell was at the end of his tether, his patience had finally ran out. He raised his sword and held it horizontally, level with the commander's chest. he thrust the sword forward, aiming to pierce straight through the middle and into his heart. The attack would probably be easily blocked or even dodged, but this man was burned, it may have shaken him, so Maxwell decided to take the chance. The sword went straight through the commander's chest and out through his back, skewering his heart in the process. "I gave you chances."
Maxwell kicked the commander off of his sword and looked over at Drago as he scolded Perry. "I think you'll find that you can find valuable information in even the smallest of sources. Let him question the grunt if he wants you fool!" He was scowling at the dragon. "Take you for example, you have what looks like a trove of information etched upon your skin! Why would a self righteous religious nut such as yourself have that?"

Geoffrey peeked out from behind a pile of rubble at the remaining people in the battle zone--his new friends, it seemed.
"D-do--is anyone injured?" His slight lack of confidence softened his shout.

Drago looked rather coolly over to Maxwell, " for the LOL'S" he replied sarcastically, " mind your own god damn business, however you killed someone who would probably have had more information than the grunt, you gutter magi, Mental case".
And Drago turns to Perry he had struck a nerve, even when the cathedral was defiled he was not this angry, " are you always so stupid or is today a special occasion, seriously who are you to talk about freedom and life" Drago roared his blade was raised and Drago stepped back into a fighting stance, " are you depriving a village somewhere of an idiot".

Maxwell just sighed and rolled his eyes at Drago's comments about how he killed the commander. "I gave him several chances to surrender. He should have. It's not my fault the man threw his life away. It's almost not even my responsibility. I killed the man because he gave me very little choice. It's a pity but what can you do." He gave an elaborate and exaggerated shrug accompanied with a deadpan "Ho hum."

*Zane felt his hair stand on end as his shadow scream at him to move. He jump as He seen the ground disappear. He look around until he saw Angder had his hand toward him. He yell at the fur* WHY YOU DOING THAT TO ME!?!

please, please hes right I know nothing. th soldier pleaded all I know is the king as dispatched battilions of men to search for you. He's said a fair amount on a tablet long lost, the tablet of prophecy.
The man was shouting now. he's gone mad, he's created dozens of creatures. the mans eyes went wide and he clap his paws over his mouth.
As the ground below where zane uad been standing a fireball ball slowly forms in angders palm

Angder leaps towards Zane, Fireball ready. Right now he had surprise on his side, soon the rest of this group. (He thought he heard the term 'Weilder' being thrown around) would turn on him. Still, if he took out the shadow mage that would make the rest of the fight much easier. He throws his fireball, and leaps across the rubble, axe at the ready.

*The shadow suck Zane into the ground as the fireball in Angder hand get near. After he disappear into the shade worls, the shadow pile on top to give him a shell to protect him. His voice hiss out the shadow.* Stop now or I feed you to my friend. I have nothing against you crazy fool!

"Well I have a problem with you! I saw you kill that guy... I saw you tear this place apart!" Angder is still running towards the Shell. "I saw that poor guy you TORTURED."

*Zane harden the shell as he hate to fight unless he have to.* If you were watching then you would had seen that after I let him go, he tried to attack me. He told me that he have children so I spare him and told him to leave. But he didn't and tried to kill me. I don't take kindly to someone spit on my mercy.

"Children please! The adults are trying to think!" As Maxwell shouted this a glop of blood smacked into Angder's face with the force of a slap, causing his head to jerk to the side. "We don't need to babysit the two of you to make sure you don't kill each other whilst we do." He took a deep breath, letting it out slowly, calming himself. "Now...Who here knows what a Wielder actually is? We should figure that out pretty fast, then get going so that we don't die." He glared at Angder. "That includes you, moron. If you haven't noticed those guards wanted us dead, not the other way around!"

Angder just snarls, not believing a word of it, but pauses a moment, dazed. "I am afraid you made a mistake. I am NOT a Weilder... all I know is you slaughtered the town gaurds... and you sick bastards ENJOYED it."

Perry gently let go of the Soldier.
"Go home to your wife" he said calmly before turning a stern gaze towards Drago.
"We now know that the king may have created that abomination that destroyed your holy place. Don't insult my judgement"
There was almost poison in his words.
"Stop this senseless fighting" he said at everyone with a harsh tone.
"Now what did he say about a tablet of prophecy?"
Perry looked at the strangers around him. He'd figured out who he liked and disliked, but there was something more as to why they were together.
"And whats with the voices in my head and the hell is a Weilder?"

Maxwell squared up to Angder, pointing to Zane. "That sick bastard enjoyed it. I gave the commander chances to walk away and he gave me little to no choice. And yes, that is blood, if you have a problem with that I suggest you keep it to yourself as I usually use my own until it's necessary to use someone else's! Now shut up, sit down and stop being a child! We defended ourselves against an unprovoked attack you fool!" Maxwell was snarling, he hated when people didn't think about anything and made judgments on a situation too quickly, like those religious bastards.

"LIARS" Angder staggers forward towards Maxwell. The blood had hit him in one of his eyes, and stung badly, but he could not let that get in the way.

Geoffrey stayed silent as he ignored the fighting among the group, staring up at the sky so he couldn't see the fallen soldiers and trying to push any thought about the lives he just had to take. Never in his life did he kill another fur before. He had to remember that it was self-defense. Only self-defense.

Maxwell sighed as Lucifer spoke and turned around. "I may be' obsessed with blood'. But you make me sick." He walked away from Angder and Lucifer. "Someone deal with him. I need to think about what the insane one said."

Geoffrey gritted his teeth as the group's arguing grated his ears. Many more troops were sure to come for them, and if they didn't leave soon, they'll be goners. He didn't want to fight anymore.
"Stop!" He shouted suddenly. He took a breath and tried to speak as calm as he could. His body was shaking somewhat from holding back fear, made audible through his voice.
"Please. Seriously. Relax a-and let's get out of here. W-we're not safe here..."

Drago walked to one of the pew and began lounging upon the wooden chair.
"I am tired of all this bull" Drago lazily commented

To the south a horns blow can be heard and the sounds of troops marching on the the wreckage of the cathedral
To the west the mighty gates of the city can be seen closing
The wind rushes through the cathedral you are not each others enemies. this voice sounded heavier more aged.

Angder glances around angrily. the group barely seemed to care about him, he was hideously outmatched... and something was telling him to be friends, he growls, and pauses. He hears the troops approaching. for the moment he was better off talking whatever the facts. "OK. Seriously, I will hold back on attacking for now. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"

Geoffrey shook his head. "Save that! We need to move now!"
He began moving out of the area, looking back and waiting for the people to join him. They really couldn't be stupid enough to stay here fighting despite the warning. If they didn't budge, he will have to leave without them before it was too late.

Maxwell's ears twitched as he heard the horn and the sound of marching. He nodded. "Look whatever the hell that voice is is right, and as much as I don't want to admit it, the crazy murderous thief is also right. It seems our only option really is to head to the stables and see if we really do have allies." He walked past Drago and patted him on his back. "Oh and I would like to examine your tattoos once we have a moment of rest. It may give us a moment to...bond, so to speak. As much as you might not think it, I want nothing more than peace, and I want your people to stop branding my people as evil."
Maxwell approached Angder. "I am going to say this slowly. We are being called something we aren't. We are being attacked because of it. We don't fully understand it. We are hearing a voice in all our heads. Now, let's go to a stable so we don't all die in a broken cathedral." As soon as he finished speaking he followed after Geoffrey. "Indeed. Let us go."

Angder begrudgingly glances around, rubbing the blood from his eyes, he was surprised how genuine the groups looked, if they were as cruel as they appeared, why did they not just kill him and be done with it? Angder sighs, and follows after Geoff, hanging back still not sure what to think, but also painfully aware of what he saw, the look on the guards face as he stumbled in pain.
The shadow mage was a villain, there was no doubt in Angder's mind about that.

*Zane seen the group leave after hearing the horn blow. He sank back into the ground and swim in th shadow behind the group.* Well. First off let get safe as we can then find out what goin on or what the mud was the voice talkin about and what is the voice? *He swim up next to Lucifer.* By the way....what you drinkin? It smell interesting.

Drago responded angrily but with a slight bit of humor to the mages request, " **censor** of, at least buy me dinner first".
Drago stood up and placed both of his blades in their scabbards he was satisfied with the current situation.
" Our fist objective is to get out of the city, and we need suppliesas well", Dragp began moving, "the almight wants us to get out of here alive and thus all agression i held to you is now void" drago spoke loudly to everyone.
" i need a mage and i shall head towards the approaching enemies, you can hear them marching, another group is to head for the nearest gate and secure it for us, and the remaining is to acquire supplies" Drago had put forward his idea.
He to followed Geoffrey as he spoke, his eyes scanning the area for anythong of interest or danger.

Maxwell cleared his throat and glanced at Lucifer. "I'll admit I never really liked you. But you are getting on my nerves, you seem to excel at it." He paused, slowly lifting his hood beck over his head to conceal most of his face. "I'd say that everyone is correct in saying we should head to these stables first, then we rest and sort this all out..." He grimaced and thought for a long while before stating dryly. "Then we...'address' certain issues within this group. I do not feel comfortable being around undisciplined murderers who relish in taking the life of another. I doubt anyone else does either. It will need to be dealt with or the two of you will be. Is that clear?"

*Zane blink for moments while they traveling.* Just one question, why you saying I torture someone? I didn't torture anyone. I let my friend feed. I don't take pleasure in hurting. Geoffrey's ears sat low on his head, not enjoying the discussion. He already felt awfully guilty about having to kill anyone, and Angder's ranting was only making him feel worse. He had to stop thinking about it and focus more on fleeing the city. Self-defense. It was self-defense. Nothing more...

Perry reluctantly followed the group. He personally wanted to pay a visit to the king and figure out what was going on. Having felt the power of his sword, he felt like no harm could be done to him. Perry had also been too focused on other things to notice who had killed what and how, but all that mattered is that Perry hadn't.
"I think our priority would be to find this tablet. The king is obviously upset about what's written on it and willing to kill us because of it" he said dryly
"And is walking along this street such a good idea? The soldiers will, if anything, be on the streets."
Perry wasn't ready yet to introduce himself with a name.

As the group walked the sound of approaching soldier could be heard behind. To the north the stables came into view, the soldier that had spoken to lucifer could be seen standing in the door. Just past them massive gates stood closed. They appeared to be made of wood with iron bandings. When the soldier saw the group come into view he motioned for them to hurry.

*Zane grab and drank some of he spices rum and put it back on Lucifer belt as he move quickly as He not fan of prison or death. He made inside the stable and hang in the back. He disappear in the shadow but the feeling of his eye watching around him is thick in the air.*

Maxwell made his way into the stables slowly,he left his hood up once inside. He stayed close to the horses in the stable, slowly reaching his hand out to one to let it sniff his hand. Once it did he softly touched it's cheek and patted it. He smiled under his hood, not paying much attention to the others as he did. He seemed more at home with the feral animal than he did with other furs oddly enough. "Such noble creatures." He continued to remain in his own little world for the time being.

"They are," Geoffrey replied with a soft smile while petting one of the other horses. He was also more comfortable with feral creatures than people. He was already starting to calm down thanks to their company.

Perry hung around close to the entrance of the stable and kept his eyes on the lookout for soldiers while trying to look as casual as possible while listening in on what was to be said in the stable.

Angder stumbles into the stable totally lost by now, but also concerned. He still had no idea who the right side was. He just had to hope for the best... "OK... What now..."

" we ride" Drago answered and began riding out onto the streets on his horse he turned and faced the stables, his left holding the rigns and his right holding his crystal blade. " seriously come on" Drago spoke annoyed, " we ride together, we make sure the soldier die together".

In the back of the stable three soldiers were preparing 7 horses in a frenzy. The soldier that had motioned them in spoke first to perry. close the door. he moved to the back of the stable and looked over the group with a smile. I never thought in my day id see the return of the blood line. he tooka breath of relief, the weilders have returned. No doubt you wonder what you're here for. The king that sits on the throne is not the rightful king, he has taken the throne by force. Some say he has surrounded himself in dark magic. What we do know is he wants the tablet and you, all of you. he looked to the men preparing the horses. we dont have a lot of time I will answer what questions I can. outside soldiers could be heard rushing past towards the gates. it is unsure if the king is still alive but his son is and he's prepared to step in and take the throne once its empty

Perry glared at Drago
"Get off your high horse and get off that damn horse. Come in and close the door behind you. You can do that?" Perry said sternly as though scalding a young child.
He continued inwards to listen to what the apparently "rebel" soldier had to say. It certainly left Perry gobsmacked.
"Yes, what is or what are weilders?" he asked, continuing after Zane.

Angder sighs. "I honestly don't understand what is going on. But we are not slaughtering a bunch of guards for doing their duty..." Angder states. "Lets just aim to get out of here... no more killing."

Maxwell glanced over at Angder, patting the horse on the cheek. "You know chances are we will have to kill again. I doubt no matter what we are not going to be taken in alive, so you better be prepared to actually defend yourself. If not the door is over there and there is an army of soldiers waiting for you. Be my guest to go and die pointlessly achieving nothing in your life." He then turned to the soldiers. "What does this whole king business have to do with us?"

Geoffrey continued to pet the horse while leaning against the wall with drooping eyes. If they really did have no way out of fighting, he needed at least a decent meal and sleep before doing so. Fighting is tiring enough, and his magic also greatly consumes his energy. He had yet to fully grasp efficient magic use, plus combat isn't his strongest suit--perhaps unexpected, given the bear's large and strong appearance. He could handle his own in a general fight, perhaps, but dealing with an army of trained soldiers would be insanity. After what happened at the cathedral, surely the next round of foes will be much larger and meaner. He didn't want to think about it.

The soldier sighed, you, you are the weilders. When the elfs left this land near on a thousand years ago they left a magic free to roam these lands. They prophesied then should darkness ever descend on the land and cropput that magic the weilders would return. It is in your bloodline to weild the magic, most dont even realize its there but it said you can feel it everywhere around you. It is said you can hear the spirits of the past. the soldier looked to perry, the exact numbers are unknown but in the far north the kings son is gaurded by a garrison of a almost two thousand strong, are best estimates would suggest nearly five to six hundred more are scattered acrossed the land. Its not exactly easy to get a count. the man chuckled. He walked over and put a paw on angders shoulder. killing is never easy but kow this, the dark king has used magic to twist the mind of many of his soldier, killing them is a release for them. Some men I see are barely even human anymore. Ive turned against the king because he is not the true king. I swore an oath to the king before him. he moved to the window and peered out. the king wants you all dead, he knows youve returned by now andnhe will send more of his creatures. They were mortal being before he worked dark magic into him. Now they're twisted forms corrupted by dark magic both mind and body. They have only one purpose in life and that is to kill, more specifically all of you. he took his paw off angder and moved to the back door. the tablet is the tablet of prophecy. It fortells your return and the king thinks he can change his destiny and stop you if he has. Some say it was in that very cathedral that now lays in ruination, hmmm I guess we'll never know. More than likely its just an ordinary peice of stone with inscriptions on it. the man opened the back door and looked out, he motioned to the horses and to the packs on each one. you'll find everything you need including food, ride at least half a days north before resting. Ill provide a distraction long enough to slip across the open area between the edge of town and the gates. There at least two feet thick so hold nothing back when you attack them. Wait for my signal you'll know it when you see it. he took one last look at the group with a smile. good luck and may the nine gods keep you safe. with that he and the other soldiers slipped out the back.

Angder shakes his head. "I will not take a life unless I have to." Angder states. "I want to save as many people as possible when we deal with this guy. By the sounds of it the guards are as much victims as we are."

Maxwell spat on the floor as the soldier mentioned the nine gods. "Thank you for taking your present company into account." The words were filled with venom and spite. He crossed his arms and tapped his chin as he thought. "So we can just kill the guards indiscriminately then? I doubt this. I'm certain I heard one of them beg earlier, plus those soldiers didn't seem to have their minds altered so that's a little odd. Either way, it seems we have to kill the king? Frankly, I don't much care for such a task. I see no reason to want to over than he wants to kill me." He slowly shrugged and let out a sigh. "I suppose that will do for now. Until something more interesting comes along. At any rate, I can't take my eyes off of a certain someone." He glanced over at Drago quickly. "Not for the moment, anyway."

"W-wait, we're going now?" Geoffrey asked. He felt he still needed to rest, but he didn't want to argue against them. If it really is that urgent, he had no choice. It was going to be a long trip...

*Zane growl then hissed out* I not going to lay down and let that son of failed king kill me. I will stop him. I just came from a war with similar effect of ruler and I hate those typed. They don't care about people and sent them to their death like a chess piece. Along with killing family after family and if they didn't already drain the family to th point that only the thing they can do is fight. No! *Zane step out of the shadow* I will stop them. *He look at the group.* Y'all may not like me. But that son is worse then me. I will kill him for the family throughout this land that need safe life. *Zane walk over to the horses and talk to on of the gaurd* Hey. You can put the stuff on the horse for me. I have my own ride. *Zane stood and wait for signal before he call for his riding partner so he won't scare the horses*

The sun had begun ots descent in the sky but it had lost no power as it baked on the stable. Several minutes passed as the group stood waiting for the signal from the soldier. Outside soldiers could be heard milling about near the gates, on occasion a conversation would strike up between to or more of them. They learned a small amount more about the weilders as they listened.
ive heard that tablets got more power in it then evennthe king realizes. Some say its there a gem set in it worth the kings treasure room. Ive even heard with it he can take whats theres. one soldier chimed in
Another spoke of the creatures there's at least two dozen of em he's made, poor souls. I could imagine such a thing the twisted state their minds must be in.....whats that.....no, no I would imagine that one was from his early workings much a bit before he knew what he was doing.
At last the soldier appeared on the wall the three others that had been with him joined the ranks infront of the gates. The wid ran through the stables as the soldier put a horn to his lips and blew.
TO THE WEST, LOOK TO THE WEST. THE WEILDERS ARE IN THE CITY, MOVE OUT YOU DOGS TO THE WEST.
the men guarding the gates began moving in the direction they had been ordered amd the archers atop the wall changed their watch as they looked to the west.

Maxwell cleared his throat loudly to get everyone's attention. "I believe that's our cue gentlemen. If we are to leave we should do so now and make it quick." He paused before speaking. "And if any of you say let's ride I will be claiming your food, just warning you." He mounted one of the horses and softly stroked it's mane before grabbing hold of the reigns. "So, what are we waiting for?"

"We Journey!" Perry quipped, leading his horse out.
"We should head to the North gate. They won't move troops from the east because it's too far. We'll break through a the North gate and bolt for the mountains."
Perry looked up north along the street and kicked into a stride. Shadows were cast along the wide street by the slowly setting sun. Perry did his best to keep the them.

Geoffrey certainly wasn't going to say 'Let's ride', for he didn't want to get any of his food taken--though he wasn't planning to do so anyway. He was far too self-conscious to attempt shouting such a cheesy one-liner. Knowing his luck and awkward speech, he'd flub even that.

Drago was slightly depressed, " fine then yeeeeee haaaaaaa" he shouted and sprang his horse into action as he followed the others, slightly behind the pack of horses that thundered down the street.

"Lets travel by horse!" Angder says, climbing onto a horse. "Though I swear if this is some kind of trick..."

Maxwell glared at Perry, Angder and Drago for a long while. "This is a terrible start to our time together as a group... He let out a long sigh before swallowing his dignity. "Let us proceed by equine mammal!"

Geoffrey wasn't terribly familiar with horse-riding, but he did his best to keep up with the others.

*Zane dive into the shadow to get his riding friend. As the group was riding, the shadow was next to them and keepin up. Slowly Zane head cane out as his partner jump out. Zane was riding a large dire wolf that seem to be part shadow much like Zane.* Heya boy. Let ride wild. *The wolf pant with a smile on him.*

As the group nears the gate, they can see as the soldier said its at least two feet thick with heavy iron bands nailed across each individual side of the door. They start at the bottom and and rise a foot wtih every. No more than two feet separating each band. A solid wooden beam two feet in diameter spanned the length of the gates. The wind over the group from behind stirring the horses and sendig them rushing towards the gate. blood freezes crimson, from the earth comes the trees. And so bends the earth

Angder points his paw at the gate. He tries to bend the earth, though he suspects he will need help from someone else, this needed more precision than he was used to.

Maxwell thought hard about the words the voice said, trying to focus hard on their meaning. "What does it mean? Come on think, think Maxwell." He began to look frustrated then glanced at Perry's sword. "Hey, you! What do you do? If I recall right I think I might have put what the message means for us to do!" He points at Angder. "You, foolish one, I think it might involve you as well, I don't know how any of this is going to work but trust me on this. I think we need to work together somehow."

Hmm. *Zane thought as he rode.* Hey blood mage. Can you shoot some of that blood magic and chills it? And one with the sword. How about take a swing at it after blood cover? Then the dirt mover can push up some tree to break the rest. Any leftover I could ram it with my boy. *Hr lean down as he ask* Can you do it boy? *the dire wolf bark as he seem to call his shadow to covers his head to harden for impact*

Well. I didn't see whoever did it but I seen a odd sword swing bleam like from one of you. If you the one then sure. Otherwise my bomb in my bag won't be strong enough

Then it probably be him. But I might need you as after we ram it. Both of us will be dizzy and out of it. So you might have to make sure we stay with the group and not let any guard get cheap shot in.

Drago was staring at his left arm, near his shoulder and read aloud, "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better, okay then makes sense, i think this is what we could do, but i doubt any of them are that into reading", the words were sketched onto the image of the Tarot Alchemy tree that took up his entire shoulder, the words were etched into one of the branches.
Drago got of his horse, in one fluent motion, and ran to Zane and Lucifer, " okay, if any of you know alchemy than you guys could transmute, we could create trees, convert blood into a solid and lifting earth would be a cinch".

"My sword glows red and seems to cut through anything" Perry shouted back at Maxwell
"Do you have a plan?"
However he realised himself what half of the task surely entailed
Just as was with the last time he used his sword, time seemed to slow down for him. He could feel the wind from behind him, rustling his neck feathers as it pushed him onward and filling him with energy.
Perry drew and raised his sword up as is glowed again with a brilliant red, almost crimson. His horse seemed to feel the energy too and raced at a full gallop towards the gate.

"Alright I'm still piecing this together but if I have this right, then I turn my blood to ice, then you hit it towards the gate, shattering it in the process." Maxwell hel out his hand and drew blood from the bite in his shoulder from earlier and let it collect into a ball above his palm, he concentrated on the blood ball that had formed and watched as it slowly solidified then froze. "Alright then. I can do that now as well." He thrust his arm out and sent the frozen crimson ball in Perry's direction

Perry cut diagonally, rising from his left, through the frozen blood and towards the hulking gate.

Angder continues to try to rip the ground up from under the gate.

The crimson waves merges with the frozen blood as it travels on its path to the gate. As it strikes the gate it spreads out freezing the timbers to their core. They egan to shatter and crack as angder focuses on them. Small cracks began to form and spread pulling the timbers apart. A loud snap echoes throughout the area as the timbers shatter and fall to the ground. Soldier in the immediate vicintiy scrammble out of the way as the peices of timber fall to the ground. The soldier moving to the west stop and face the gate aww struck at the damage.
Above the wall the archer struggle to maintain their footing as the wall shakes and threatens to topple.as the group nears one of the archer begans screaming at the other regrouping them. The soldier from the stables draws his swords and plunges it into the nearest soldier. With the gate less than a hundred feet away the archer draw back and fire raining a volley of arrows on the group. The soldier continues to cut through men atop the wall.

GO! GO! *Zane told his wolf as they mowed through the rubble on the ground and guard. They burst through the gate and the group of guard on th other side. As they ran, it was easy to tell that they were out of it as they didn't ran straight. The wolf might as well had star. Floating around his head as Zane wasn't making sense* Ow. That hurt was bad on me upper belly.

Angder kept going, Head down... the bloodshed up on the walls was unnecessary in his eyes... but there was nothing he could do about it so...

Geoffrey held tight on the horse as he guided it through the gate at high speed, focusing on the road ahead.

Maxwell kicked into his horses and yelled at the top of his lungs. "Go!" Commanding the horse to enter a sprint and charge towards the gate. He rode alongside Angder. "Good work, maybe you aren't an absolute fool after all. No, you just need to learn to trust us a little. If we have to be a little coalition of magical misfits then we may as well have each other's backs and not be at each other's throats. Makes sense doesn't it?"

The arrow was knocked out of the air by Drago's sword, the next one that came to him, Drago dodged it with ease. His horse was galloping forward . " Maxwell, i have serious doubts we all have each others backs" he yelled as he continued forward, defending himself against the attacks that were now coming behind him. " Now where do we go, do we just continue forward," Drago shouted.

Perry felt a small rush from the power he felt he possessed.

Perry raised his sword up like a beacon and pointed towards the mountains at his 2 o'clock on the other side of the forest. There was a lake that supplied the area with water that was at the base of the mountain and would probably be good to restock and refresh.
"Into the forest, there's a lake at the other side at the base of the mountain!" Perry shouted behind him as he turned away off the road into the wilderness.

Behind them on the citty wall the soldier from the stables screamed as a barage of arrows tore through him. Off to the west soldiers shouted atop the wall soldiered made ready to pursue but were stooped at the gate and turned back into the city. From somewhere down the wall tomthe west a loud roar shook the ground and toe through the air.
hold your arrows a man on the wall screamed
To the west a 20 foot section of the 30 foot wall swung outward.

Angder keeps riding. Secretly he was loving this daring escape. though the loss of the soldiers lives numbed that enjoyment somewhat

Maxwell rode after Perry towards a forest. He glanced back to see the section of wall swing outward. He cocked his head, his eyes going wide. He'd seen some strange things before but never had he seen a wall of that size move like that. He was utterly bewildered. "I don't mean to worry any of you, but a large section of the wall just opened! I don't want to know why that's happening and I think we should get as far away as possible before we learn!"

*Zane shook his head as he finally got his bearing. He look back to see what Maxwell talkin about. His eye almost pop out.* Oh mommy. *He turn to his ride* Move your dumb tail before you lose it *The wolf was about to snap at him for calling the wolf dumb but he seen the wall. He tuck his tail inward as his back leg began to move faster then his front. Yipping as he ran and almost threw Zane off his back.* GO GO GO GO FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR STEAK! JUST GOOOOO!

Perry broke into the forest, the trees obscuring the sights from behind.
He sheathed his sword and kept low as they raced through the brush.

Geoffrey refused to look back. He kept staring ahead hoping to get as far away from the battle as possible.

Another roar ripped through the air as a wolf standing nearly 15 feet tall burst out from the section of wall that had opened. The beast stood clad in heavy armored plates. Its eyes glowed a bright green as it sniffed the air.
The scent of the group filled its nose as it howled and took off after them. It covered the distance in a few long strides and zeroed in on luccifer. The beast swung it massive tail around revealing a blade affixed to it. Trees stood as no resistance for it, it tore a path through the forest with remarkable ease.

Drago halted his horse and jumped of in one fluid motion. He landed on his legs and bought out his swords at the same time. He ran forward between the beast and lucifer and faced the creature.
As it swung, Drago dived out of the way, rolled and then got back up. His blades were in his hands and Drago was ready to attack the Monster.
" Lucifer aim for its eye's" Drago yelled, " come on you son of a *cenosr* i will beat your ass".

*Zane notice that the great wolf were after Lucifer. He have his dire wolf went into the shadow with him. The shadow on the ground move very quick over to the great wolf. Zane and his partner shot out of the shades ground and onto the back. The dire wolf latch on with his teeth as Zane stab with both of His sword on it back.* MOVE IT MAN! WE WILL SLOW HIM DOWN! NOW TAKE YOUR SHOT!

Angder turns his head to face the wolf, then grins. "Now this is more like it!"
Angder stops his horse, climbs off, and readies his axe. he charges at the wolf.

Maxwell stared up at the wolf in amazement. He'd never seen something so huge. He didn't really know how to deal with something like that not at the moment. He kicked his heels into his horse again, making it sprint, trying to keep ahead of the wolf as he thought of a plan.

Geoffrey had stopped his horse and stared in awe at the beast. He was tired, but if he stayed generally calm and focused, he may be able to squeeze out some spell power.
He watched the battle ensue, waiting for the time to strike. That was when he saw Lucifer fall to the ground. That was his cue.
He ran to the lynx's side and checked the wound. It was a little too serious for him to heal completely at this stage. He had to wait to use his spell. For now, he focused on tending to the wound, grabbing spare cloth from his bag to wrap it up, trying his best to tune out the battle and hoping the others had it covered.

Perry turned to see what was going on.
Trees were falling down and a clearing was formed with a hulking monstrosity in the centre of it.
Perry drew his sword and redirected his horse to ride towards the others.

"No," Geoffrey replied, half-lying. It certainly could have been worse, however. He tried his best to wrap the wound properly, though being rushed by the surrounding sounds of battle.

The beast flung itself around wildly howling in pain. It dug its back claws as thrashed as it tried to loose zane from its back turning it massive head in an attempt to catch him in its massive jaws. As it did its taill swung around moving the blade at high speed towards angder. The beast snarled as it swung its paw at drago, still fighting to get rid of zane.

Angder spots the blade approach, and tries to stop it with his powers... but he lacks the control needed, at the last moment he drops to the ground, falling on his back as the blade swings over him, leaving Angder flat on the ground

Maxwell frowned as he thought. He decided to try and experiment with his new found frozen blood power. He wasn't sure how it worked but he felt it wise not to question at this time. He drew some blood from the wound on his shoulder, which he noted he should tend to soon, and formed the blood into the shape if a small shard, a bit like an icicle, then focused on making the blood freeze, as soon as it did he threw the blood red icicle at the wolf's paw as it swung to Drago, the shard embedding itself in it's paw. "That should be bothersome for it...Now to see if it gets distracted or just get angry."

*Zane and his wolf move their body to side to side to avoid the claw or the tail blade as they come near them. It cause more damge that they didn't even have to do. Both had a smile on their face/snout* YAAAAGHHOOOO! HAHAHAHA

Drago saw the icicle as he was readying himself to strike the creature. As it embedded itself and allowed the warrior a small opening, Drago took the opportunity to slash its hands with both his blades simultaneously at the creatures forearm, slashing vertically upwards in an attempt to amputate or damage the giant wrist.

Geoffrey managed to cover and wrap the wound to stop the bleeding. "I'll heal you when we're safe. Hang in there, alright?"

Perry faced the monster from a distance. He had no idea what to do...

They beast roared and dropped the ground and rolled trying to loose zane. It sends drago flying through the air as it does, the sound of bone snapping can be heard. It rolls back to its feet and roars in pain as I favors it broken leg blood dripping from its wound that maxwell had given it. The beast roared again as it ran towards angder on three legs. Slobbers dripping from its armor. The ground below angder quivered and shook.

*Zane and his wolf was rolled into the ground. They were deeply imprint.* .......ow. *Zane lift himself on his arm as he seen the Great wolf running to Angder which was laying on the ground. He was being help by Lucifer but neither one look to be good shape. He have to think fast, he turn to his wolf which had star around his head* Hey boy. Let ride. *Both of them disappear into the ground shadow As it shot toward the wolf and past it in blink. Near the the two that was about to b ran over, Zane and his wolf jump out of the shadow. Zane rode his wolf as they run toward to the two. His paw reach down to grab Angder and Lucifer.* Come on or you Will be flat road kill for that beast!

Drago crashed into the ground his body
Drago spat blood and felt his chest become inflamed, ' well there goes a few of my ribs' Drago thought as he got back up slowly and carefully, his blood red eyes were still fixed on the Beast, he was quite surprised at the creatures strength as it was by far difficult than first expected, and Drago felt the thrill of the kill course through his tainted body.
Drago stepped towards the beast and grinned, this is what he was born to do he was going to fight, his tattoo began to glow white hot as his blood-lust rose and began morphing, changing, and moving around, like white snakes, his body. Drago ignored the pain from his broken ribs and began jogging towards the beast, both his blades ready for action as they were in his hands quivering for blood.
" We will be chased down if we run" Drago yells at the group as he passes them, " as long as we have life coursing through our veins, not even Death could stop us, lets show them who we are".

Maxwell drained the blood dripping from the large wolf's wound and willed it to set ablaze. The ball of blood burned intensely as he launched it straight at the beast's face. The flames set it's fur alight.

Angder gets to his feet, and readies his axe "we fight". As the beast approaches, he brings the axe down, hoping to chop into its head, and stop it in its tracks.

Meanwhile not to far from where this fight was taking place, a small Nimbat with green fur and was only a little over a foot tall was tending to some wild flowers. She heard a roar off in the distance and looked up from what she was doing.
"What was that?" She said and turned to one of the trees as if it was talking to her. She put her ear to the tree and listened.
"Uh huh...I see...Oh no they will need help. Thank you Mr. Widow." After looking completely insane as she talked to the tree, she gathered her stuff in her bag and flew off in the direction of the combat.

Geoff stared at the beast, unsure if he should use his energy for magic now or save it for healing Lucifer and the rest of the group later.

The beast collapsed and rolled across the ground as maxwell set its face a blaze. A cold wind settled over the area as the shadows seemed to come rushing from everywhere, the trees the rocks even the clouds gave up their shadows. They mlved quickly and surrounded the beast pulling it down . It thrashed wildly swinging its tail in every direction, threating to disembowl anybody that got in the way of the blade. As it began to sink into the ground panic set in and it swung its tail with directed force at the approaching drago

"Look out! Stone Spiker!" A voice cried out as the tail swung at Draco as a flash of light came from the bushes. All of a sudden a mass of spiked stones pushed themselves out of the ground and in the way of the tail.

Angder slams his axe, using the side of the blade, into the things head, hoping to knock it out.

"I-I'm Gidget...but you should really focus on the monster." The tiny nimbat came out of the bushes where the light came from.

As the large wolf fell to the ground Maxwell moved himself and his horse just out of the range of it's thrashing. He pointed to Geoff. "You, bear, check to make sure if anyone is injured, if they are do what you can for them. The beast is thrashing now, that may be a sign this is done, might not be however." He glanced over at the newcomer who had burst onto the scene. "Brilliant. More to join our coalition of strange people. We should start touring as a freak show, we'd become rich."

Zane was workin hard with his power as sweat rolling down his face. He yell to around him "SOMEONE GET ROPE AN THROW IT OVER. I ALMOST DRAIN FROM HIS THRASHING. PULL HIM DOWN!" Zane began to shake as few drop of blood was trailing from his nose.

Geoffrey scowled, holding his arms out at his sides as he stared at Maxwell.

Drago guarded from the attack, but as the newcomer helped him, he merely looked at her and nodded in thanks, and turned back to the beast
Drago ran towards the monster and embedded both his blades in each of the creatures hands, to hold it down. Then Drago jumped on top of the beast and began pounding its head into the dirt furiously, his fists began to draw blood from the attacks but Drago hoped that the same would be said for the monster. " Everyone stop having a bloody tea party and help us, hey stoner ( Talia) help us out or watch, and Max.... shut-up, your remarks are pissing me of" he yelled loudly as he tried to subdue the beast, " and kill the son of a....".

Maxwell shrugged and rolled his eyes. He let out a hearty laugh. "But you look like your having so much fun, my friend! I would hate to end it so soon. It would be like taking a toy from a young one, and oh how I hate the sounds they make when they get upset. In all seriousness, I am not the most proficient fighter, whereas you yourself seem to be very well...equipped for such a thing, especially as a man of God. In short, you kill it." He paused. "Oh and it's Maxwell. Not Max. No one calls me Max."

Geoffrey drew his bronze sword and waited for a possible time to strike. He was far from a swordsman and preferred keeping his distance in combat, but it was better than using up his limited energy for magic.

The beast gave one last trash of its head sending drago flying and knocking angder to the ground. It collapsed on the ground and howled in pain. From atop the wall shouts of horror and disbelief errupted.

The soldier from the stables emerged from behind a panel in the wall and sunk his blade in another soldiers chest, only to be met with a barage of arrow in himself. He looked out to the group run get outta here before they muster a a pursuit force he shouted out before collapsing

Angder climbs to his feet, nursing his arm. "Ok... I am OK..." He limps back towards his horse. "Lets get... out of here."

Geoffrey made note of Angder's apparent injury and hopped onto his horse. There were multiple people he needed to split the rest of his energy on. He hoped he could manage the job.
"Let's go!"

Maxwell watched Angder limp to his horse, shaking his head slowly. He rode over to him, stopping in front of the blue wolf."Damn fool. If you need help just say so. Can you still ride in your condition? If not..." He extended his hand to Angder. "Then get on, we cannot waste time, no matter your current condition."

*Zane stood where he was. For moment, he was panting too hard. He whitle as the wolf came up under him from his shadow. "Follow the group. Either up here or down below I don't care" he fell asleep from overused his power. The wolf began to follow but only halfway sunk into his shadow in case he would need to fully sink.

Angder growls at Maxwell. "I have my own horse." He glances to Lucifer. "The countryside! we have no other choice"

Drago was sent flying, but as a creature with the ability to fly it wasn't that much of a convenience. Drago was on his horse already and followed after the group, not before getting his swords of the dead creature.
His horse trodded beside lucifer's, Drago clutching his chest, where his ribs were broken, his face was very irritated from the pain, but he wasn't going to be showing weakness next to that ahole of a blood mage, one of these days he was going to beat the crap out of him, " we head for a dense forest perhaps or somewhere where we could evade easily and hide out for a while" Drago put forward, "but i have no idea about anything in this country, do you guys".

"I do. The forest is the best option in my opinion." A small voice said from Drago's bag. Gidget poked her head out out of the bag and pointed towards the forest.

The city wall becomes alive with action and noise as troops can be heard mustering for pusuit inside. The occasional arrow is foolishly launched from the wall with no hope of reaching the groups at such distances.

*Zane barely crack his eye open whilr he laying on his wolf.* I don't care where to go. As long we get somewhere with a lot of shade and food soon. Otherwise I not going to be able to control my hunger very well. So the forest sound good as it shaded and lot of hiding room. Gidget eyes went wide as she saw the soldiers begin pursuit.
"Uh...I suggest we move faster. I know a really good hiding spot that we can go to, just follow me." Gidget hopped out of the bag and started flying towards the forest at surprising high speeds.

Drago looked at the others and shrugged, " well i guess we follow the newcomer, i trust her as much as i trust all of you guys, but at least she made up her bloody mind" he spoke and galloped after her.

Angder climbs on HIS horse, (not accepting Maxwell's help) and gets ready to ride. He did not know or care where they are going, and wait for the others to make a decision

Gidget lead the group down a winding path through the forest that had many turn offs and forks going along it. It was actually pretty dark in the forest as trees didn't let in much sunlight but Gidget had a light spell up to help show the way. In the distance were the ruins of what looked like an ancient temple with a giant tree growing out of it.
"Where almost there. Also don't hurt any plants when we get there, Barbuda doesn't like it." Gidget said as she heads towards the temple.

"Barbuda." Gidget points at the tree top that is poking out of temple as she heads towards the entrance. The entrance is blocked by huge vines, but they part as gidget approaches and she heads inside.

Geoffrey rode his horse along with the others, his body aching. This journey didn't pick a good time to sweep him up, for his lack of decent sleep and nourishment lately limited his capability. But thankfully they were on their way to safety, and if he didn't think too hard about their quest, he will be able to rest with ease among these strong figures. He was going to need it if he wanted to keep everyone healed.

The inside of the ruin was huge and was well lit by magical lights near the roof, but that wasn't the most impressive thing about this place. Dominating the center of the ruin was a enormous tree ent that made the party look like ants. It watched them with big glowing green eyes and it's bark look ancient and crumbly with many long roots that it had planted in the walls and ground. Around the ent was what looked like a very impressive garden that had many wild flowers and plants native to the forest. Gidget flew right up to the tree ent's eyes with a big smile on her face.
"Barbuda, I brought guests and they need healing...yes i know where the healing items are, they're old but they should work...oh really, ok I'll tell them." After seeming to having a conversation with the tree ent, Gidget turned to the rest of the group.
"Welcome to temple of...I forgot what this temple was to but anyway Barbuda has asked to speak with you and I have healing items that should help your injuries. I'll go find them and to talk with Barbuda just touch one of the hanging vines to your head." Gidget pointed to vines hanging off Barbuda and left deeper into the temple.

Maxwell scoffed when Angder spurned his offer to help him. "You need to learn when to admit you need assistance, then accept it. But fair enough, if you feel you can still ride then I won't stop you. Just don't expect me to catch you if, or rather, when you fall."

Maxwell looked around inside the temple for a moment before staring up at the large tree ent. He examined the large tree creature as Gidget spoke before finally turning towards the rest of the others once she had stopped speaking. "Is this normal here? Just, huge tree that people say they can talk to in the middle of temples, or is the women insane?"

To the south west a plume of smoke could be seen rising on the horizon, it appeared that a city was burning but from this distance it was hard to tell. In the west troops prepared to move. Word begans to spread of a sizeable force moving from the north. And amid it all stand 7 warriors stand, a hope alive, a hope to stand against the king. Perhaps the hope for the future. But for tonight they need rest, ahead lays three days hard ride. Likely more than one fight and countless soldiers, at the end lies a fight for the throne and a mad king.

Maxwell slumped onto the floor, gesturing to Geoffrey. "You can heal right? Heal the bite on my shoulder, as convenient as it is for my powers, I feel it may become infected soon without treatment. Show me what you can do to deal with it."

Drago followed Maxwells example and sat across from the injured anthro. Drago himself cringed as he moved, his broken ribs weren't helpful, " Hey Geoffrey, would you mind if i ask you to do some of your magic to help with the healing process, please i am sorry to be such a nuisance, and i know you are just as tired as the rest of us, but i don't want one of my ribs to poke the squishy parts" Drago asked kindly to the healer.
Drago inspected the ruins and his companions with his blood covered eyes, " anyway, anyone got a lighter, i think we should stay for the night, we are to beat up to get far tonight so i say we start fresh in the morning" Drago put forward casually,

Geoffrey's concerned gaze switched between the two, as well as the other injured in the party.
"I... I dunno who to heal first," he admitted sheepishly. "I-I should start with the worst wounds, but at this point I might not be able to heal them enough..."

" Hey Geoff, just heal as much as you can today and then get some rest, i ain't going to die anytime soon so leave me for later" Drago warmly smiles at Geoff, " i am sorry to be such a nuisance, but i am incapable of magic like the rest of you Mages".
When Lucifer gave Drago the slightly heavy satchel, he couldn't help but show slight concern at the unusual weight of the item. He placed his hands in the bag and explored its contents. There was something large in their, but right now he needed to focus on the others well being before his curiosity. Drago removed the lighter and slung the satchel over his back as he painfully got back to his feet. Drago looked around for firewood and kindling and saw a substantial amount, but he was so confused with the newcomer, a gut feeling made him want to exit the area and search for more appropriate materials in order to create a appropriate and warm fire.
As he walked passed everyone, thoughts passed through his head on the nature of everything that was happening, he still couldn't grasp what had happened today. Someone powerful spoke to him and Drago couldn't decide of it was a Celestial Spirit or a Powerful Mortal of this Plane. He was also very curious of the others, and who they really were after all, how many people had died today because of them.

"I going to disappear for a bit but I will be around as my friend can help me with my damge." the wolf went into the shadow with Zane. The shadow stay then began to move around everyone as now and then the wolf pop his head out to smell someone or something then disappear back into the shade.*

Angder just stays back, watching. He still did not feel comfortable with the group.

Barbuda observed the group as they mingled in front of him. He couldn't help but feel tired though even though he had never slept a day in his life. Slowly the glow from his eyes began to fade and a slight tremble could be felt in the ground.

*Zane head pop up and float in shadow with a smile on his face much one would be in warm bath* "So......how about talking to figure out the chaos that we just got out of?"

Drago had collected a small collection of stones and kindling, but right now this didn't interest him in the slightest. On the floor, near his feet he was looking curiously at the tablet. He had made sure to be quite a distance away from the rest of the group. He had Lucifers lights in his claw, inspecting the entirety of the artifact.

The rest of the tablet was too badly damaged to be readable short of a few words here and there
At the bottom however an a short inscription was carved into it in an ancient langauge that was far to old for all but a linguist with knowledge of the past to read, it read

Maxwell cocked his head at the slight tremble but ignored t as he spotted Drago reading the tablet. He shifted over to him, making a last remark to Geoff before he moved. "If This bite wound gets infected before you get to me and you can't fix it, I will be more than a little irritated." He peered at the tablet. "What's this th- Oh, well that's interesting."

Geoffrey scowled. Well, if the wolf was going to keep acting like that, he didn't really want to heal him. Drago was nice enough about it. Might as well try to heal him or Lucifer up first. He walked over to the two, taking a look at the tablet as well. Noticing the foreign words...
"Oh hey," he mumbled, "That looks familiar..."
He leaned closer, squinting his eyes as he read each word carefully several times, trying to pull the limited knowledge of the language from his brain.

*Zane began to feel better* "What you guy talking about that stone? And I getting hungry so anyone want something to eat?

At the mention of eating, Geoffrey's ears perked up, distracting him from his translation work for a moment. "Yeah, could use some dinner," he muttered.

"Sure. What you eat? I mainly got meat but few veggie green."

"I'm a bear," Geoffrey chuckled. "If it's edible and fits in my mouth, it's fair game."

"True. Hahaha. It also for anyone else here as well. Well let me check my bag for the size for you." *Zane pull out his bag and look through it.* "let see...hmmm. Ah. Here it is." *He pull out few full pound of ribeye steak out.* "These do for you?

Geoffrey stared at the steak in awe. To a vagabond like him, it was like being presented a king's feast. "That's... That's great. Thank you!"
His eyes shifted between the steak and tablet. Now he couldn't keep focus on translating; his mind kept rolling to the thought of tearing into the juicy meat...
He shook his head and continued reading the words, pressing his finger under them as he tried to translate each part.
"Seven... one.. when... wi--When seven... become one, one... will be seven."
He smiled a little.
"'When seven become one, one will be seven'."

Gidget came back with rustler medal rods that slightly glowed at the tips.
"Got some old healing wands, they are a little rusty and make take a couple waks but should work... does anyone else feel that?" The trembling increased as barbuda eyes started to dim.
"Barbuda! Wake up! Wake up!" Gidget flew in barbuda's face and smacked his bark skin with a wand of healing, dropping the others by Geoffery. Slowly Barbuda eyes glowed brightly again but he looked tired, as tired as a tree can look anyway.
"What's the matter Barbuda, you never fall asleep on the job. In fact you never sleep at all."

" So is this thing such a stereotype" Drago moans as he magically teleported to where everyone was, " i am not a brute, i don't kill anyone anymore, i killed that monster, but i doubt it was sentient".
" But i must ask Lucifer and Geoff, what are your stories" Drago asked polity, but his eyes were staring at Maxwell and the others, the ones he hated the most and didn't trust at all, " we have time to kill".
Drago fished through his cargo pants and bought out one of the cigarettes he had bought in town, he had five left. He used Lucifers lighter to light one of the cigarettes he had withdrawn from the pack. Drago then placed the cigarette in his mouth and began drawing in the poisonous smoke.

Geoffrey was zoning out while eyeing the steak, and it took a few moments to register what Drago asked.
"Oh. I'm just a wanderer," he replied, "Stayed with a mage for a while. Began learning the ropes... Then... things happened..."
He looked down at the floor and sighed. "Don't really want to get into it..."
The bear carefully plucked up the healing wands and examined them. "Hmm... might as well try these first, then I'll try to heal anything they miss."

"They work fine but are kind of old. I wish they would help Barbuda though, he is old and I fear he may be dying." Gidget rubbed Barbuda's bark and a vine came to rest on her shoulder.

Angder really had no idea what was going on. So he went over to Geoffrey. "is that steak?" Angder asks. "Finally. Something happening today I understand." He slumps down next to him. At this stage he just wanted to eat something, then sleep.

The sun began to set below the horizon painting the sky with beautiful hues. The sky betrayed the war that was ragining acrossed the lands. A cold breeze wafted across the area as a wolf howled to the south. Soon the the night would allow for brief rest before the campaign to the west continued onward.

"Well. Let start up a good camp fire and talk. If I understanding that weird stone right. We all in this together at the moment. And I learn from past fight and war that It help if you know your group good enough to fight. I can bring out more food if needed as I alway carrying food and I think I might have a tent or two in my bag." * Zane held his small bag.* "And boy come here and give me a gas." *The wolf walk over to Zane as he just got done stacking pile of dead wood in circle. The wolf chest grew until he belch. Zane had a match ready and lit as the gas hit and the effect of flame thrower was made.*

Maxwell sighed. "So it's story time now, is it? Fine, I guess I'll take part. We need to be able to trust each other and having secrets is no way to promote trust." He tapped his chin in thought as he wondered where to start. "First of all, I'm not really from here. I'm from a very small nearby kingdom, if you can really call it that. Over there pretty much everyone has some kind of magical capabilities and they are encourage to choose a type of magic they want to pursue from a young age. I was slightly different, I suppose. I didn't choose to pursue my particular brand of magic, I just could always do this. I did however choose to learn more about it. I was actively dissuaded from doing such but I chose to ignore what people told me and wanted to see what I could do. My powers slowly grew as I did and I gained a passion for obtaining knowledge. I guess one could say I had a rather cold approach to the pursuit of it too. I didn't care who stood in my way or how I had to manipulate them, as long as I learned what I wanted then it was all that mattered." There was a long pause, as if Maxwell didn't feel like continuing with the tale.
"Some people took offense when I did not grow out of it and decided it was much safer for the people to ostracize me from the community. They are alway hungry so more we kill better power control we have. In end, my clan love to kill. I didn't."

I mainly help family and try to end the war fast for the lesser two evil side. And one of the war. I kinda save him when he was a pup" *point to the wolf.* "And now the war stopping program I making lead me here. So hi." *Zane wave with a smile.*

Drago just watched with slight interest, " you all are getting buddy buddy, yet we were all on the brink of conflict hours ago....." Drago Trailed of as he interjected into the conversation, " a young dissent nerd, a dreamer and a serial killer who never wanted to kill....." Drago chuckle as he thinks of his statement.

"So we're telling about each other are we. Well I don't think I have much to tell, mostly because I have forgotten so much." Gidget thought for a moment to tried to recall a great deal of things.
"Well let's start from the beginning...at least with what I remember. I summoned to this temple a long time ago, like more than a million years ago...maybe even longer. You see I am something called a nimbat, a guardian that meant to protect things of great importance. My species can live forever you see, well as long as no one kills us or destroys what we are summoned to protect. I don't remember what I was summoned to protect...it could have been this temple or something else. There also used to be a city around this temple but the forest and time has claimed all of that. The race that built it hs disappeared without a trace leaving just me and Barbuda as the only surviving beings. They were strange creatures, without fur except for a little on their head and pink looking skin but they are gone now so it doesn't matter. They gave me Barbuda to plant and he has been a great companion and my only real friend. Barbuda is the only reason I live now, I protect him which gives me purpose to live...but that my time is coming. Barbuda is ancient, he has survived a million years with me but now I don't think he can survive another couple of days. When he falls so will this temple, and in turn so will I."
As she finished her story Gidget looked depressed.
"I haven't seen much beyond this forest and the temple...helping you guys escape was the furthest I have ever ventured. I can't explain it but there something about that tablet that seems very familiar...like something I haven't seen in...I don't even know how long."

Geoffrey tapped a healing wand against Drago a few times, and continued with the rest of the lot that needed healing. It wasn't perfect, but should do well enough for now, so he used the rest of his energy to chow down on some of the steak. Once he was better rested, he would go back to heal the rest of the wounds with his own spell.

"I'm a vegetarian...and actually I have been hearing weird voices recently...I think they told me to go find you guys. I just assumed it was the trees talking again, but now that I think about it they didn't quite sound the same as they did before."

"Err...thanks but I just pick some stuff from my garden." Gidget flew over to her garden and gathered some fruits and vegetables.

Angder listens to the conversation, then sighs. "I just arrived here looking for work..." he says with a sigh. "I have fought before, but its what I came here to get away from..."
