Hey guys, I'm maple_bacon but you can call me by my RL name Lacey, or my fursona's name Melinda. I respond to both.


I'm 18 (turning 19 in October), and I live in northern California. I've been into the furry fandom basically since 3rd or 4th grade but didn't really know what the fandom was until I was in 7th grade when a friend told me about it and I was like, "Oh wow, there's a term for that?"


Since I've had really bad art theft problems in the past, I probably won't post my art here. Describing my fursona in words is that she's a white lion with long brunette hair and blue eyes. That's really all that's to her since simplistic characters are easier to draw in my experience.


Anyway, some stuff about me outside the furry fandom. As my profile picture suggests, I LOVE Canada. I've loved Canada basically since I was 11 years old and I've always been a huge fan of the country's history and culture, and some of my favorite things in the whole world are Canadian. For my 19th birthday, I'm getting a maple leaf tattooed on my left ring finger. <3


I'm also a HUGE hockey nut and I've been an LA Kings fan since middle school. I haven't actually played ice hockey before but I've played street hockey a few times and it was pretty sweet.


I could go on forever but if you want to ask me anything else, go right ahead. I don't bite. :3


EDIT: I should also mention that I don't have a Skype and I probably never will.
