*Nucleon was waiting at a small inn not far from the stronghold, he told people in the advert to meet here before attacking to group up*
*Looking around*
Okay.. I'm hoping I'll get a few people here to help out

A robed figure walks towards the inn, his staff held in a burnt hand, his black robes obscuring most of his shape. he looked old, but in truth was only in his thirties... years of magic had taken their toll, and yet ironically he had the potential to outlive almost anyone. two yellow eyes glared out of his robe's hood, cold and calculating, the eyes of a serpent.
He enters the inn, taking in everything inside. He moves briskly towards Nucleon.

*Nucleon looked over at the robed figure*
<thinking> hmm.. I can sense quite a bit of power.. he must be one of the people here to help..
*signaled for him to approach*

Drago bought down his hood before he entered the establishment, he still kept his dark glasses on though. He inspected the entirety of the individuals who were here, he was acting cautious and as professional as as he could but he really had no idea who was out to get him and who was not. But Drago just shrugged and walked in and strolled over to the bar, he needed something to quench his thirst.
He felt the air quiver as he entered, and drago smiled, the energy that some of the people were emulating from their bodies was beyond the norm.
This is going to be fun, Drago though to himself with a bemused smile

Drago saw the signal and stopped, he was torn.
' I need to consume something cold, but i also need to see what this dude wants... could he be the boss should i get him something .... and if i do get something what should it be..' Drago was having a battle in his mind.
Drago walked over to the Anthro and stopped about a metre away not looking into his eyes, drago was leaning casually against ( whatever surface near him).
" Do you want anything" Drago asks Nucleon staring at the door.

<quietly to Drago> Are you here because of the advert?

The snake stayed back as Drago approached Nucleon... he could sense something... demonic... in Nucleon... It would not be the first time something like this had been a demonic trap. For now he would stay back and listen. Just to be safe.

" so your the boss then" drago asked quietly staring at the door still, " yeah i heard you needed someone to kick-ass and i am here, i doubt the other won't be here for a few hours though... "
" Anyway the names Drago" introduced himself, again not making eye contact, " the Energy Mage".

A wolf wearing a white hoodie and a plain black buttoned shirt entered the inn. He had a sword upon his back. His white fur would almost look majestic if it wasn't for the fact that it was so scruffy and untamed, instead it makes him look like he spends most of his nights on the street. He didn't give off the same sense of power as the others who had already entered, he wasn't a magic user, his strength lay with something else. He looked around the room, searching for the people he was meant to meet.

I'm not sure how long we should wait, bit the stronghold is about a mile away from here
One thing that I ask of you, is that you don't underestimate our opponents

" And i ask that they don't underestimate me" Drago responds with a slight hint of anger

Xander spotted the other two and made his way towards them, looking from Zarc to Drago then to Grunan. So let's see here, there's at least going to be two hooded figures here already, all together in the same place... He spoke quietly. "Well...Don't we all look inconspicuous right now?"

*Nucleon nods*
The stronghold itself has over 20 powerful wizards, archers, and warriors.. if we can stop their super weapon than you will be paid.. sound good to you?
*to xander* hmm? Oh, this is none of your business citizen..

Drago smirked loudly at the last comment.
" what the citizen crap you a noble mate or am I to take you as someone with a...Nobel Heart...." Drago mocks Nucleon while making a heart shape over his own heart.
" seriously though who cares" drago tells Xandar.

*Nucleon rolled his eyes*
<thinking> someone has gone crazy since they have gained power..

Xander scoffed and frowned at Zarc, flexing his fingers. "Oh I'm sorry, I swore I saw some of of advert from something going down here but I guess I was mistaken then." He didn't even attempt to hide the snarky sarcasm in his voice. "Don't judge on appearance alone, friend. It upsets people."

*A masked wolf entered the inn and took a seat, somewhat away from the others. He looked dangerous, having multiple knifes as well as two sheathed blades attached to his kimono*

*Nucleon looked back over at Xander*
Hmm okay.. you must just be trying to blend in

" and with that i think we need to eat and wait for the others, my shout too" Drago interrupts the two he then walks over to the innkeeper and begins seeing the prices for drinks and food.

The snake grins at Drago's bravado... overconfident? or trying to make up for something...
He steps forward towards the potential demon. "Nucleon I assume?" The snake grins. "I am Grunan. I am here for the... well... I think you know." This close, Nucleon could make out the snakes head, and the fact his face is badly burnt on the right hand side. His hand is also horrifically burnt... even someone without magic could sense something odd about this snake.
Perhaps even something fundamentally wrong with him.
Grunan turns to Xander. "So... Its us 4 then?"

*Alka was listening in on the conversation, not turning over look at the others* Looks like I'm at the right place. But... I didn't expect to see this many people claiming they could fight... I'll have to see it for myself, but for now... I'll continue to listen

Xander sighed and just shrugged. "You know what? I'll try to take that as a compliment." He folded his arms, he was clearly irked. He watched Drago as he walked off. He shrugged as Grunan spoke to him. Unable to take his eyes off of the snake's burned right hand. "Wow...That looks...sore."

"Trust me. I have inflicted far worse." Grunan says with a smirk.

*to grunan* hey there.. I'm assuming you're a magic user then.. it's nice to meet you
Erhm.. is your arm alright?

"Well i think i would take a barrel of the coldest water you can muster and you know kegs and bottles of your finest bevergaes for those guys with me" drago explained, he then opproached the bartender" they seem to be a cautious bunch and uptight to, alchol always works better than magic".
Drago then begins talking about the qualify of food

*Al's ears perked up* Magic users... Can't ever trust 'em. Best introduce myself to the boss. The shiftier I act, the less likely he'll trust me.
*Al walked over to the group and took a seat close to them, remaining silent*

Ah, hey there.. are you here because of the advert?

Xander nodded at Grunan's comment. "I'm sure you have..." He watched as Al sat down next to the group silently. "Erm...Hi there. You lost?" Looking over him and spotting the knives. "No, you're definitely not..."

*Al looked over to Leon* I'm here... because money was promised... in exchange for blood... I so happen to specialise in transactions of that form... Would you happen to be Nucleon Blitz...?

Drago walked over to the group his wallet feeling significantly lighter but Drago still had a hugh grin. " well, what we talkibg about" drago asks

Correct, I'll pay you as soon as we take out the group in charge of the stronghold..

*Al kept his gaze on Leon. He seemed a bit intimidating, and it was difficult to tell what he wanted* Al: I think... a proper explanation of who we are up against... is in order... I'm not sure anyone here... even 'casuals' over here... would like to walk to their deaths... After all... can't get paid in hell...

Xander glared at Al for a few moments, boring a hole into his head with his dull green eyes. That's two people in this group he knew he didn't respect already. That'll make it hard to work with them. His glare grew more cold as he was refereed to as 'casuals'.

Drago looked at the two agrivated anthros and made a small sign.
Drago grabbed the piece of paper that was the advent notice from his pocket and slammed it onto the table
" tell us everything we need to know".

"Just going to hell stops you being payed?" Grunan says. "Well. That's one difference between those with magic, and those without."

Drago just gives up and sits down defeated. Drago looks at the innkeeper and hopes he will bring the food and drinks quickly.

*Al pays Xander no attention, and keeps his eyes fixated on Leon* Al: Satan would probably employ me to do dirty deeds for him... But... even if I did get payed... I'm already dead... What's the point in money and material if you yourself are no longer a physical being...

Okay.. We're up against at least 20 skilled fighters.. I've lost a few scouts that tried to gather information but here's what I know..
There are a couple of groups of archers on the walls of the fortress, the fortress itself doesn't seem to be finished. there are alot of workers around
There are two layers to the stronghold, the inner section seems to be defended by a forcefield.. any attempt to break through it has failed
Other than that I don't have too much more information as of this moment

Xander stopped glaring at Al as soon as Zarc started talking. He may not respect the guy for his comments earlier but there was no doubt the information was important. He sat there quietly as he took it in.

Drago looks at the leader of this group then at the group themselves then back at the boss giving him a very concerned look
" well plain archers i can handle, but this forcefield tell me about it".

"If we can't break through the field, what about going round it?" Grunan asks. "Don't worry about information gathering. as long as there is a single Crow in the area, we will have all the information we need."

" crow?" drago asks.

Great. He doesn't even have proper intel on the asshole's we're fighting. I'm walking into a death trap. And there is only one person here who looks like he actually can fight. Ugh... The things I have to do to get by... *Al sighed* And we... a group of 5 killers... assassins... fighters... are expected to take down 20 people... who could just as well be able to take us with their pinkies... This just gets worse by the minute... When do we start...?

"Type of BIRD" Grunan states angrily.

Xander glances at Grunan. "I doubt you're that dumb. Answer the question he was really asking. What do you mean if there's a crow in the area? What does that matter?"

" yeah i get that part you ass but what i don't get is the significance" drago angrily retorted .

Its a huge dome.. the shield itself is visible and sort of a deterrant it seems
I believe it isn't magic based, but electrical..?
they must have a system for letting people in and out in there
Trust me when I say this.. but our group here seems to be about as powerful as the stronghold..

Grunan sighs. "I can use the Crow as an scout. I can see through its eyes!"
Grunan turns to Nucleon. "Could we just gate around it? A magic door to go past the field?"

*Al snickered sarcastically a bit behind his mask* Al: Sorry to judge a book by it's cover... But I count 1 other person who I would be able to trust with my life... If this group is as strong as the stronghold... then there is a huge imbalance of power here... *Al turns to Xander for a second*

" you know we actually don't have anu intel so i would like to propose that we actually reach the facility and observe this sheild and thus eliminate all the stupid ideas we are making" drago interrupts everyone.

Xander leaned in close to Al. "And I see at least two pricks I won't bother to watch the backs of. One of them is supposed to be the guy leading us, the other is the guy in this only for money." He voice was harsh, he jabbed Al in the chest to emphasize his point.

*Al grabbed Xander's finger before it reached his chest and turns his gaze, focussing it on Xander* Al: And you're the angel here doing it purely because it's good? Or am I mistaken?
*Al then turns to Drago after letting go of Xander's finger* I've bled quite a bit recently, so yeah. Second option.

Grunan can't help but smirk at Al's response to Drago.

I'm afraid that the shield is a solid barrier.. you can't walk through it
also, I can only account for magic here.. I can't accuratly from a distance, I'll re-asses when we're closer

"No." Xander growled. "But I've learned that you usually can't trust the type of man who does anything just for the money. So my point still stands, unless you have any other motive for being here, I don't trust you." He leaned back.. "But please, do me a favour and prove me wrong."

Drago was conemtemplsting setting there clothes on fire now it woukd stop there childidh conflict but there would still be a chance they would be do big headed and ignore it and thus keep fighting, also they were both users of some sort of magic which put himself in a major disadvantage, since they probably aren't kinetic users espicially and he wasn't even close in having a full tank of energy so he would fight them with fire.
Drago looks at the boss with amazement he was very relaxed snd kept speaking like the conflict was like a squabble among children

*Glancing around at everyone*

Grunan shoves Xander back. "I would not taunt me if I were you... not unless you want a lighting bolt to the chest."

Drago had a nagging feeling of danger maybe or just hungry, and thus undicided he began drawing his right blade halfway from its sheathe

Xander smirked at Grunan. "I feel so threatened. It was in jest, calm yourself." He looked up at the new person, wondering who he was.

??? - *Got up and walked over to the bar to get a drink, he didn't fancy chatting to the others*

Dragi was very concerned, and it obviously showed in his face, he was looking around quickly but casually, the feeling was there and he was dounting his gut though.

*Al shrugged* Al: Fun...? Considering what we're walking into... this won't just be a gaggle of laughs... no... this'll be a blood bath *Al glared at Grunan* Don't waste your energy on him... Save it for when you can make it look like an accident...

Xander leaned back in his seat and let out a long sigh. He just decided to ignore Al until further notice. "This is gonna be the best worst attempt at doing anything ever..."

*Al pulled out his knife and stabbed it through the table, taking a deep breath out afterwards and returning his blade to his kimono* Al: Do not refer to me as a "child", Nucleon Blitz.

I managed to create a map based off what our scouts found

Xander allowed his seat to drop down onto all four of it's legs and glanced at the map. He only really had a basic understanding of how to read maps so he hoped it wouldn't confuse him.

*Al pulled his mask down and went to the inn keeper, asking for some whisky* Al: I'm going to need a bit of alcohol for this...

"Its a bit... basic... for a map" Grunan states uncertainly.

Zarco - Yeah.. sorry about that but we lost a few scouts just getting that much information..
but they may have more buildings now as there was a large construction workforce there

*After Al got some whiskey in his system he returned to the table* Al: Sometimes... knocking on the front door... works a lot better than you'd expect... But... I'm guessing you've already tried that... hmmm... *Al's blue eye begins to scan the map looking for anything of interest*

Nucleon - We haven't yet.. we've only really been using flying scouts and stealthy scouts
but going in through the obvious way is a potential method

"How are they hiring their defenders? could we pay them to betray their leaders?"

*Al eventually shakes his head* Sorry to break it to you... But your map is shitty... No labels... No key... Not even a compass... We need better intel... to make a better attack... I can scout for you... But, I'll need at least 2 other people accompanying me...

Zarco - Well.. I'm more of a magic user than a warrior but I can change my size to make myself smaller

Xander had slumped onto the table and seemed to be getting close, his eyelids drooping. He was incredibly bored. He was tapping his fingers against the table in a very simple rhythm.

Zarco - Hmm.. I know of a small place closer to them
As of recently we've been working from my forge which is about 2 miles from the stronghold

I need a chalk board... numerous punching bags... and 70kg weights... I also need pieces of paper... and a pen... we're going to test everyone... and we're going to plan everything... If these people are as skilled... as you say they are... we need all the prep time we can get... *Alka looks up at Zarco* Al... Al El-Kina... Congradulations... You're the first person here that I even remotely like...

Xander sighed and grumbled to himself, he glanced over at the menu and reached out his hand in want. He needed coffee, that'd make his day a million times better.

Drago was still suspicious, he just couldn't shake a feeling of danger, he was more interested in what was going around him rather that what is happening at the table

Nucleon - Hmm.. so while we're waiting, does anyone want a drink? or anything to eat?
Also, if anyone wants paying part of the sum before we get into this, I don't mind doing that..

Xander slowly raised his hand, making a small grunting sound as he does. "Yes to all of that. I need coffee so badly right now. Must have some."

"given money is the main reason for some of us being here. I would not trust some of us not to run off with the money." Grunan looks to Al with a scowl. "Thankfully my reasons are my own. And I do not need your money... A coffee would be nice though."

Nucleon - Alright.. Either way the money isn't a big deal as long as I can get some powerful fighters to help
*He reached into his backpack and pulled out a 24 carat gold ingot and handed it to Xander*
That's worth £25,000 ish..
*He got up and walked over to the bar to get a coffee for Grunan and Xander*

*Al folded his arms* Al: I trade blood for money... But I am no thief... Thieves are cowards and have no honour... Running off with a sum of the pay is nothing I would do... Running off with any pay, is nothing I would do... Besides... If you're allowed to have your reasons... I'm allowed to have mine as well...

The innkeeper bought over a barrel of water along with three legs of ale and 6 bottles of red and white wine and placed them on the table, he then also bought over a large selection of meats and vegetables and they to were placed on the table.
Drago relaxed a little but he still kept his blade half unsheathed and began consuming the small barrel of water.
" well I don't drink and I am not that hungry I bought it so you guys would enjoy yourself since we could be dead tomorrow" Drago explains after he had drank his full.

"Possible. But I doubt it." Grunan states. "Thanks for the food though." Grunan grins at Drago, appreciating the gesture of goodwill from him. he then starts to eat.

*Al looks at the food but decides to pass* Al: I appreciate the offer... But I'll pass... My diet is fairly specific....

Zarco - *walked back into the inn with a chalk board, some weights a stack of paper with a few pens*
Sorry that took so long, The punching bags are just outside the inn

*Al looked at the weights* Alright... Seeing as how you want to come on the mission with me... I want you to lift those weights until your arms are too tired to continue... no added magic either...

Zarco - We may be here for a while, I work as a blacksmith so I've got decent upper body strength..
*Zarco placed the items down before starting to work out with the weights*
Also, I need to be with you to show you the way to the stronghold..

*Al continues writing* Al: The enemy... will know my insides and outs... soon enough... I'm writing this down now... so I can copy it to paper later... Paper documents... If they find it... it'll just be allow them to know me earlier than they would've anyway... And I'm not the only one doing this... we all are...

*Al turned to the unknown guy* Al: Because, if I was with the enemy... at least half of you would be dead... the other half with injuries... and none of you would know any name of mine besides "The bloody"... "either way" you don't get a say in it... We can't plan out missions... unless we know what you're capable of... so unless you want to be the bench warmer, since that's the only thing you genuinely look good at... I'd get writing... *Al gave a stern look to Grunan as well before placing the chalk down next to the unknown guy and walking back to Zarco* Besides... Why would I give up my talents...? Just make it easier for you all to kill me...

I hate to say it but if anyone got access to this information then we could be killed much easier

*Al placed a paw to his forehead* Al: Do none of them know how to plan assaults? It's not like any of us know each other back to front. I'm not getting payed enough to work with these idiots... Anyway, I best try to get some plan down on paper. *Al began pacing back and forward, trying to plan out how he is going to scout the area and he suddenly gets an idea. He walks over to Grunan* You said you can see through the eyes of crows... correct...?

Zarco - Yeah
??? - Take me to it.. I can turn completely invisible to avoid being detected
I'll go gather some intel and return back later

"No. But I can take direct control of one, or even a group... with some risk of course."

Al: Right.... You're going to take control of a group of crows... survey the various areas of the stronghold... and then draw out a proper map... or at least describe it to me, so I can draw one out... Sound doable...?

"Perfectly." Grunan says. icily.

??? - Okay.. Lets go now, I will able to provide more information as well as your surveillance of the area
Zarco - Alright, I'll be back shortly

Al: Alright... That makes things easier... But... You said there was risk... If you're going to be put in harms way... may as well have a healer on you... or at least someone who can neutralise pain... Know anyone here like that?

Xander had been happily drinking his coffee whilst the others did...whatever they were doing. He let out a contented sigh, it was pretty much exactly how he liked it. He was not paying any attention to the others and it was pretty obvious.

*Zarco and ??? leave the inn to go to the stronghold*
Nucleon - I can heal injuries, I'll be on hand if I can help

*Al grinned* Al: Alright... Seems we have a team... We'll head out now if everyone is ready... *Al looks back at the chalkboard* Nobody realises what I've written is actually fake. Even my own teammates have fallen for it. Perfect... *Al then picks up pieces of paper and a pen*

A reddish-brown black bear walked into the inn. He wasn't entirely sure of who to look for, but when he focused he could sense some powerful mages hanging out. That certainly must be his party.

Grunan examines the Board. Al the bloody... Grunan did not know much, but he knew one thing.
He is not this stupid.
Grunan grins slightly, but then immediately goes back to looking annoyed, he turns to the newcomer. "Looks like we have another member in our group"

*Al turned to the bear* Here for a drink...? Or about an advert...?

Nucleon - *Looked up at the newcomer and signaled them over to the table*

Xander glanced up at the bear, then went back to absentmindedly drinking his coffee.

Geoff noticed the annoyed expression on Grunan's face and lowered his ears slightly.
"Y-yeah, I'm a bit late, aren't I? Sorry about that..."
He looked at Al. "The advert," he stated.
These people already seemed a little intimidating. He thought they were likely stronger than him and they could probably tell. He hoped he wouldn't mess this up.

*Al's left eye looked the newcomer up and down, his right eye resting on eye contact* Al: Alright new guy... The boss is over there... I suggest talking to him first... *Al pointed over to where Leon was sitting*

Geoff nodded and walked over to Nucleon.
"Uh, hello, I'm here for the... party."

Nucleon - Hey there, welcome.. better late than never
I think we're preparing to move out now so you're just in time

"The sooner the better." Grunan states.

*Al turns to Leon* Al: I agree with... *He turns back to Grunan* What was your name again...?

Nucleon - Well, Zarco and that racoon should be over at the stronghold now..
we should be able to meet them over there
by the time we're there they should hopefully have some information for us

Al: If they manage to allow... simply being invisible... to pass by them... I'm going to seriously start doubting... the difficulty of this task....

Xander had finally started paying attention as he finished his coffee, setting the mug down on the table. He shrugged. "Why complain? I mean if it's not difficult then you get your pay for less trouble than you expected. Surely that only benefits you."

"My name is Grunan." Grunan states. "I thought I had said."

Nucleon - Hmm.. Okay we better get moving
*Nucleon stood up and grabbed his staff*
Is everyone good to go?

*Al ran a quick check of his weaponry* Al: Yeah... I'm ready...

"Wait" drago orders everyone "first thing first though"
Drago turns and faced the racoon and smiles politly and offers his hand to him.

They were still constructing areas inside the stronghold
I believe they have archers on the walls.. but they are lesser skilled than their main units
The main gate seems to be the least guarded for some reason, they seem to be expecting us to go around

Nucleon - Considering that they killed the mage who was guarding the artifact and have killed the scouts we sent.. We can take a pretty good guess that they aren't open to negotiations

"Born ready." Xander listened carefully to Nucleon as he spoke. He arched an eyebrow and cocked his head. "The main gate is the least defended part? That's either a trap or a slip up right?"

Grunan shakes his head. "They must be hiring somehow..." Grunan states. "so there must be a way to talk to them and to get inside through stealth."

I, for one, am not physically capable of feeling empathy or remorse... So, I have the best chance.... *Al then turned to Xander* I don't doubt that you've killed people... But the people you've killed were probably armed... Probably capable of defending themselves... I am no pawn... I need to get by, and I can do something well... Put 2 and 2 together, and you have a business which keeps the lights on back at home...

*There were a couple of powerful looking warriors on patrol, one was a bear with a sword and shield, the other was a dragon with a large 2 handed axe. Both were heavily armored*

Althalos - It depends on what you're assigned to, the boss normally asks for your specialties and then he will assign you a role
For me I'm the tech guy, I got given a workshop to work in and get given tasks to make stuff
Its quite nice here when you get used to it!

*In the non shielded side of the room, there was a doorway on one side of the room and a screen on the other*

Grunan grins. "Execute?" he dashes forward, knees the poor fox in the stomach, blasts lightning through her so she collapses, and then grabs the Fur on the back of her head. He then grabs her face with his burnt hand, and starts chanting... After about 30 seconds of screaming, the fox seems to evaporate into thin air, leaving nothing behind.
"I can do far worse than that." Grunan said, a mad look in his eyes. His right arm seemed to steam slightly after casting his spells

After a long silence and some deep thought Xander slowly raised his hand. "I've had to break into quite a few house for a multitude of reasons and so I'd say I'm at least semi decent at stealth. It may not be the type of stealth we need as it'll be amateur but if it's the besy we got.

Grunan sighs. "Then you might have a problem with Al." He blasts the Fox with lighting, killing him instantly. "There. I tire of such pointless cruelty... Ok thats a lie. But I tire of AL's pointless cruelty."

I've been feeling a bit pent up as of late... and taking my time... hearing them scream in pain... it really makes me feel relaxed... *Al's tone sounded very convincing and genuine *

Xander thinks for a moment. "You said this thing is under construction, right? Then maybe there is a way to scale it and gain access from somewhere higher up with less risk, maybe even without alerting anyone to our entry to start with. That would give us a bit of advantage and maybe even allow us to do what we need quickly, just get in then get what we need."

*Al nodded* Al: Guess it's your unlucky day Althalos... *Al looked up at Malek* Your front guard... is sloppy... He got Althalos to fill in for him... And even then... Althalos didn't do a good job of making sure we were disarmed... *Al tensed his two arms and blades popped out of them, before he relaxed allowing them back in* I suggest... for the safety... and security of your super weapon... that something is done about it... Nucleon - I think destroying the walls would create a bit too much noise.. it is a possibility though
I know that the walls are done, last time we checked, the doorway wasn't even started.. it was just an empty gap between the walls

Grunan follows, his face falls as he leaves the room, losing his grin, and turning to a disgusted scowl.

"The way I see it then, we have a couple of choices. We go in through the front door, which may be a trap as far as I'm concerned, a nice funnel to your death. But I'd be willing to try and sneak in there. If I do then Drago can either stay here, come with, or try to break that hole down himse..." Xander paused for a moment. "Actually that may not be half bad. If Drago is breaking down the wall it may distract them, might make it easier to sneak in. Right?"

Nucleon - Or even better.. I could be a distraction by destroying the archers on the walls.. while you enter the stronghold via drago's plan..

He was trying to picture Drago as someone he really hates, no, utterly despises. Al? No, I don't hate him nearly enough, hmm...Dad? eh, close enough, it'll do for now. Xander brought his fist back then slammed it right into Drago's chest as hard as he could. "Was that enough?"

Geoff was perfectly capable of stealth, especially with his invisibility spell, but he chose to say nothing about that. If something were to go wrong with that, he didn't want to be the first one to die. Plus he wasn't entirely sure of what to do once in there.

Drago jumped up and brushed himself of like nothing had happened, he even rubbed the blood under his boots, and began channeling the power he was given and began merging it with the other energy he had stored within him. The energy was then directed to Drago's left arm that began to radiate a green substance as well as causing the very air around it to become electrified.

"I work better when I have a wizards lab." Grunan declares. "Mere guard duty is below me." He scowls at the Tiger.
"Still... good to have the band off."

Grunan exits through the shield, grabs his staff, and heads off to do... 'Gaurd duty' He could not believe it... and it also scared him, if Grunan could be wasted on such stupidity, who was further up the ladder? how strong were the Wizards further up?!

*Al's weapons were all neatly laid out on a piece of protective foam* *The guard patrol of the two heavily armored warriors walked past* *The outer fortress was still alive with construction workers*

*Al picks up all his knives and straps them to his belt. He places his scroll on the back of his kimono, as well as his glaive-erang. He also puts his two blades in their appropriate spots on his belt before heading off to his station* Al: This place is fairly work in progress. If I manage to catch them off guard, I could probably do some serious damage. No... That would get me killed. I need to wait until I can do something without getting caught... For now, you work for them.

Grunan heads onto the walls, and heads for an outer tower, it was empty apart from him from up here his powerful magic could decimate attackers, It would also give him somewhere calm to rest, and to trance...
He sits down, and shuts his eyes... drifting off to a far off world...

A Strange bird, a snake with wings, flies across the ever-changing landscape, Towards one small bastion of sanity... a small wooden cabin that defies the rest of the world, small, pleasant, inside is a female fox, cuffed, and blindfolded. The snake seems to transform, becoming a version of Grunan with Crow wings... he opens the front door, and walks in... "Sophia? I... need to talk to you..." he leans down and removes the blindfold.

*Al took a seat at his station. He was inside the inner area, fairly close to the construction. He closed his eyes and began thinking* Al: I wonder how the girls are doing... and my little boy... Mitts.... I hope they're all safe... Knowing Debra though... Heh... *Al chuckled lightly with his eyes closed* They're probably up to no good whatsoever... Apple doesn't fall far from the tree... ey, dad?

"Dead" Grunan states. "there was nothing I could do, I took a huge risk saving you... I am Grunan, I am the person who was told to murder you..." Grunan lifts the fox onto her feet. he then grabs the cuffs, and tries to break them. Swearing he realizes he can't. "Damn... Give me a second..." he moves over to the fireplace and grabs a firepoker.
The lodge is small, with only one (fairly large) room acting as bedroom, and kitchen. Grunan grabs the cuffs, and forces them apart with the poker.

Grunan swears under his breath. "Damn... well... I have something I want you to do..." Grunan grabs some chalk and starts drawing on the floor. "I need you to deliver a message for me... Do you know of the~" Grunan names the inn Nucleon had started the group in. "And to tell them Grunan and Al are in..."
"The portal will take you anywhere you imagine clearly enough... but you MUST go through quickly... unless you want to be scattered across everywhere you have ever been..."
Grunan starts chanting... it takes about a minute for the portal to open... "Nucleon blitz... Tell him Grunan and Al are in, and undercover, then VANISH. DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE SEEN OR WE BOTH DIE." Grunan states. Grunan shuts his eyes.

He walked into one of the buildings, its a trap building.. designed to lure the enemy in then kill them with spiked walls

Drago walks up to the giant wall and begins inspecting it with his hands, he was gliding his hands over the surface looking for anything that will give him an advantage.
' That damn fighter, good swing for someone without any magic, but its not healthy to reveal your weaknesses to those people, they could get the wrong idea that i am a softy when it comes to conflict... ' Drago was thinking though he looked at his hand that was covered in electricity and highly powerful radiation, ' damn this attack will increase my cancer cell count by a even larger count... i hope it takes months and not years of my lifespan, but its up to the man upstairs to decide'.
Drago feels an irregularity in the surface, a small seam between the mortar, and Drago gives a small smile; " i am the Dragon that knocks" he muttered.
Drago walked back a few steps and swung his fist against the crack. The power of Xander plus an extra boost from some of the energy he stored was amplified, and all that power slammed into the wall. The wall shook under the release of energy, shock-waves visible across the surface of the wall. causing their own cracks and seems in the surface. The air around Drago was struck repeatedly by lightning and then the was imploded inward. Unable to stand the combined power of a Energy mage and a Champion fighter.
" Well all yours" Drago told no one, but he meant the others who were waiting patiently for him. Drago turned to the massive hole and began to assemble his master weapon, his bladed staff. He unsheathed his blades and began attaching them to each end of his staff.
After the preparations for the coming battle Drago then bought his flame magic onto the blades and coated them in a fire like substance, that didn't affect the metal or produce any heat, but there was certainly flames.

Grunan stands up, hearing the commotion... He stares out. grins, and fires a fairly wimpy bolt of lighting.... in the opposite direction. "WE ARE BEING FLANKED! LOOK OUT!!" He yells, blasting Lighting at a hill opposite the actual attack."

*Al felt the shockwave and heard the attack begin* Al: Already? Jeez, some patience please... Ugh, this means I'm going to have to fight them if I want to stay a spy. Well, best get into it... *Al cracks his neck and stretches his arms a bit* Well... Best go check it out then... *Al begins walking over to where the attack was happening. The shockwave was much more worrying to him and so he headed to the gaping hole in the wall*

Xander walked over to Drago and patted him on the back as he walked past him and through the hole he had just created in the wall. "Good job big guy." He slowly drew his sword once he was inside. "Well then, let's get started." He looked around at surroundings. "So where about are we in this place and where should we go next?"

Drago then began a massive coughing fit and fell to his knees. Drago Placed his hand over his face, and saw that his hand was covered in a dark red liquid...Blood. ' I think that is god saying that he is screwing me over and took a year of, damn expensive that prick is' Drago was thinking and looked at the floor in a daze.

Xander looked surprised for a moment. "This was not what I expected on the other side of this wall." He didn't notice what had happened to Drago and started to slowly proceed further into the fortress, glancing around at the fleeing workers. "All of them are running? Well that makes this easier."

Grunan heads along the wall, he grins as he approaches the hole, before long he would be back on the right... He glances down at his band... That would be an issue.

Xander looked behind him as he walked, smiling at Drago. "Hey once again, good job there. Was impressi-"He paused and stopped in his tracks, staring at Drago's hand. "The **censor** happened to your hand?!"

He ran in front of Xandar and lowered his staff at the new threats, the flames turning Crimson, highlighting Drago's mood of anger.
" No time, we have company" Drago's eye narrowed at the new threat

*He stepped to the side of Al and swung his axe at the floor, sending a shockwave towards the breech*

It's go time, Geoff thought as he stayed hidden behind a tree. He took a naturally fearful breath, but refused to let himself lose focus.
Good thing he prepared himself. He had the perfect amount of energy to use his abilities, and he brought his khopesh sword as well. He never really got much use out of it in combat, and this is the chance to see just how much damage it could do.
He really did prefer stealth, but in this case he can use his invisibility spell to surprise the enemies.
He took another, more relaxed breath, and his visibility faded.

Grunan points at the wolf mage. "SHAMNDEN*"
"There, let that be a lesson hmm? We are going to die, may as well die with dignity."
*(Dispel magic)

Drago, gave a smirk at the shock-wave and placed his unarmed hand on the floor, ' i needed a refill thanks'.
Drago felt the energy from the shockwave impact against his body, but his magic absorbed the pitiful attack and stored it inside Drago.
" Well i guess its a Dragon/Dragon fight" Drago commented lightly, " non-magic enemies is my specialty.
*Nullify then Store Energy combo*

*Al took note of what Drago just said* Al: He can absorb attacks and convert them into some form of usable energy. Best make one on him to kill. *Al began walking towards Xander, his red eye moving spastically up and down, analysing every detail of what Xander presented*

*Started raining arrows down on grunan, she seemed to be firing three arrows at once*

Xander watched as the wolf dropped from the wall. He barely had enough time to even register the shockwave and was about to make a clumsy attempt to dodge out of the way when he saw Drago just take the impact. He stared at him for a moment before readying his sword. "You beautiful bastard, if we live I owe you a drink. Remember that we are kinda out numbered so work together okay?"
Compared to Drago, Xander is considerably smaller, and is clearly nowhere near as brutally strong, He has no magic but that's not to say he doesn't have natural strength, he has plenty of that. His chest and forearms are heavily scarred but those are usually hidden by his hoodie. It would be easy to assume him an easy target.

"DON'T YOU SEE THEY LEFT US TO DI~AGHHHHH" Grunan takes an arrow in his left leg. Swearing, he fires a bolt of lighting back, he tries to back up, but there was little cover, desperately, he limped for the nearest tower.

" Xandar the Damn Drag Queen is a traitor, prepare yourself" Drago warned as stared at the al, wanting to rip the traitor into pieces with his bare hands.
He then looked at the Dragon and smiled. The flames around in his staff began spreading all over his body, like a, well fire, consuming his entire body in crimson flames. Drago felt his skin begin to fell uncomfortable and hot, as his flame Armour began to consume him.
" i am so pissed now" Drago roared and charged forward.

Xander shrugged slightly then stared at Al as he approached. "You act like I'm meant to be surprised that the guy loyal only to money is a turn coat. They probably only had to offer him dental." He stayed put, getting ready to dodge if Al made an attempt to throw one of his knvies his way. "I must say Al...I thought you'd prove me wrong but instead you're just a disappointment."

*She then turned her attention to the rest of the group, but decided to move before attacking*

*The word disappointment rung in Al's ears, and his left eye then turned black* Al: I'll put that on your tombstone... *Al then instead instead of throwing his knives at Xander, smirked and threw them all in the direction that Drago was running. Al then pulled out his scroll and opened it up* Time to bring out ol' Bessy...

Grunan leans against the wall... he pulls out some chalk, draws a simple circle, pulls out the arrow, then traces over the circle with the arrow. He then shuts his eyes far a second, looking for a Crow to give him a birds eye view of the complex... all while talking into the radio.
"While the others retreat, he leaves us to die, the force far stronger than ours... I am not the traitor, he is, he wants to thin the crowd... So he has all the power to himself, we mean nothing to him..."
Whatever the result of his bird searching, Grunan opens his eyes, and limps for the stairs, wanting to get to the top of the tower...

Drago send a pulse of energy from his unarmed palm, only a small amount, but enough do redirect the flames to the right.
" Paybacks a bitch" Drago retorted and gathered a small flame in his hand, then he crushed the flame in his hand and caused the flame to burst into a pure purple energy..plasma, it curled around his hand like a snake, until it turned into a sphere in Drago's now opened hand.
He then threw the bomb at the Dragon, straight as the floor where the axe dragon stood.
But he felt something pass threw his Armour and felt multiple objects embed themselves into his skin across his back and right arm, dropping his staff in reflex.
*minor energy release and a plasma bomb*

Geoff managed to stay invisible as he channeled a propulsion spell to hop up the wall. He grabbed the ledge and pulled himself up, then peered over the ledge.
Alright, let's see how well this works...
Geoff tossed a fire spell at the fox with the bow and ran, flopping onto his stomach just before his invisibility spell wore off, hoping the edges along the top of the wall were high enough to shield him for a moment. Using two spells at once is hard enough, but another two-spell combo right after that was a bit much.

Xander approached Al. "That's big talk for the guy who decided to attack someone else besides the guy he just threatened. Make true on your promise big man. Come kill me, I welcome it. But I promise this, I'd enjoy nothing more than dragging you to your own grave as you do. So please, make my day already, you piece of filth."

??? (Dragon - 2h axe) - *dodged to the side and hit the plasma orb with the flat of his axe*
*The axe seemed to glow yellow for a second*
*The Dragon grinned and turned back to face Drago and Xander*
??? (Wolf - Staff) - *made it to the wall and walked through the shield barrier*
??? (Fox - Bow) - *She noticed the fireballs from above the wall*
*Dodge rolled to the side and leaped to get away from most of the damage*
*Some of her fur was singed*

??? (Bear - Shield/sword) - *Noticed Nucleon just outside the main gate and moved in to attack him*

*Al looked up, and gave a devilish smile behind his mask* Al: With... pleasure... *Al pressed his hand to a circle on the scroll, and instantly a large cloud of smoke popped out. The smoke dissipated quickly, and left Al standing with a hammer beside him. The hammer was about Al's size, and looked a bit big for him to be able to carry, but he quickly disputed this as he lifted it with ease. He then continued to casually walk towards Xander, his black eye continuously spastically looking around*

Grunan limped to the top of the tower, and watches the fight... "Al... WHAT THE **censor**!?" Grunan could not stop himself raging, and then... his eyes hardened. "Choosing a side..."
Grunan checks his range... too far away...
He snarls... He would rip out his spine... and feast on his flesh... and DEVOUR H~
Grunan sighs... Anger always brought out the worst in them.

Drago was looking at both combatants and then looked at the now extinguished blades. His arm felt lifeless and Drago felt no control over the Arm.
' i hope their is a healer or i am going to suck as we continue' Drago thought.
Drago began circling the dragon until he could see Al, and any knives he would throw at him.
" Nice axe, i think i might take it for a trophy later" Drago taunted the Dragon, " would look good along with all the trophy i was rewarded from my many bounties"
Drago launched a three Fireballs at the Dragon.....No two were heading for Al.

Xander glared at the hammer and cocked his head as he saw Al lift the thing. "Well, if I've ever seen overcompensation then this is most certainly it." He stopped walking and got into a defensive stance, it was noticeably loose, like there was no tension in his body at all. He took a slow, deep breath. Just let it all come naturally.

Geoff quickly pushed himself up and shot a few more fireballs at the fox.

*Al spun the hammer around himself, creating a very strong gust of wind. The wind pushed on everything going against it's direction, much like a tornado. He unintentionally extinguished the two fire balls before he threw the hammer towards Xander. The hammer came speeding and would cause major damage if it did hit. But... Al had other plans, and the hammer was thrown a bit to the left of Xander, allowing for an easy dodge*

*He started charging towards Drago*

??? (Fox - Bow) - *Leaped behind a building to dodge the fireballs*
*she fired a few arrows over the building towards Geoff*

Xander quickly dodged to the side, glancing at the hammer then back to Al. That was too easy, he did that on purpose. What the **censor** is he up to? "What are you up to?"

Grunan angrily scrawled a large circle with chalk, and began to decorate it, He had never done this ritual, but the idea just sort of came to him... usually that would make him suspicious of it. and it did.
Right now he really did not care though...

Geoff dodged out of the way, with one of the arrows nearly hitting his face.
"Fuh!"
He rebalanced himself and prepared to channel.

Drago just stood there, frozen, awaiting the enemy.

Xander stared at Al for a moment, genuinely considering throwing his sword away. "I don't nearly trust you enough to believe you even know what that word means. Why exactly would you give a shit about honour all of a sudden?"

Al: You said I was filth... and so, I want to *he puts emphasis on this next part* send you a well deserved message... *Al began circling around Xander, still in his offensive stance*

??? (Dragon - 2h axe) - *Swung his axe short of drago and let it plunge into the ground*
*He then used the axe to propel himself towards Drago for a high powered kick*
??? (Fox - Bow) - *moved around the outsides of the buildings to get herself into some better cover*

Xander sighed and threw his sword to the ground, returning to a defensive stance as soon as it hits the ground. "Fine...but I swear, this turns out to be a trick, and I survive it, then I'm gonna turn your ribs into dust."

Smoke began to rise from the tower where grunan's ritual was taking place.

Geoff spotted the fox and shot a bolt of lightning at her. He was done with the stealth thing, it was unnecessary at this point.

*Al smirked and slowly approached Xander. He decided to use his basic fighting knowledge because he was not actually trying to kill Xander* Al: Right. Now... I need to make this concise and make the fight look believable. Think about what you're going to say... *Al threw a quick light punch at Xander*

' Kinetic..., and you are in my ignition zone, you just died' Drago chuckled as he thought at the fruitless effort.
Drago rose his hand up and caught the kick like it was nothing, " ignition and redirection" drago announced.
The air around the impact zone began creating friction and mini flashes of lightning were swirling around the Area and the floor and ceiling began to crack by the amount of pressure building,
Every area of the dragon seemed to burst into flames, and thus, with a smile, drago redirected the kick back to its source.

*Al grabbed the punch and leaned in close* Al: Their boss is exactly as we would've expected... an evil and blood-driven psychopath... *Al then backed up and threw another [more forceful], punch towards Xander's stomach, but took one of the fireballs to the arm and pulled it away* Argh...

Grunan moves to the edge of the tower... Drago was able to get Al, who was unarmed... those arrows though...
He points to the Archer's location. "Seek... destroy." He states. A ball of lightning, discharging at the tower randomly as it moves, moves past Grunan...
Grunan then realizes what was happening to the right of his body... it was like the burns were brand new... letting off smoke. he clutches his arm but that makes the pain worse... he collapses, panting...
"Son of a BITCH!" He yells, seemingly at thin air.
We try. You should win the battle now though? Hmm?

Xander's eyes went wide and it took all his willpower not to facepalm himself at the moment. It seemed he had proven he wasn't exactly the brightest bulb. "What...?" It was lucky Al was hit by the fireball as Xander was a little too taken aback to have responded to the punch in time.

Grunan continues to pant, eaning against the battlements, if anyone came up here he would be dead.
The lighting ball however, flew towards the fox, blasting at the buildings as it passed... homing in.

Drago just shrugged and looked at the Dragon who was retreating more, " you chicken" Drago shouts at the Dragon.

*Al noticed the shaking and gripped tightly at his arm* Al: Run... while you can... *Al then retreated to behind the dragon, picking up his scroll as he ran*

Xander looked confused as Al retreated. He stood there for a moment before snapping to his senses and noticing the shaking. "Wait...what? ...oh shit that can't be good." He grabbed his sword and moved a bit further away from the breach and closer to the dragon. "Drago, need some help?"

*A very large feral Snake/Worm hybrid shot up through the floor and quickly started to coil itself around Drago*
??? (Dragon) - Aha haa!

??? (fox) - *Failed to notice the lightning ball as she was still focused on Geoff*

*Al pressed his hand back to the circle and the hammer burst with smoke. The smoke returned to the scroll and Al quickly rolled his back up. He then released the burnt arm which was scarred* Al: I'm... going... to kill him... I'M. GOING. TO KILL HIM! *Al's left eye turned black with bloodshot, activating his over-clock mode. Al then drew one of his two swords* No. This snake will die if it get's in my way. I will have his blood. And my nine knives *Al began charging at Drago, fully prepped to kill*

The ball 'Senses' its target... and heads for it, blasting the building as it goes past, a tendril of lighting extends towards its target, preparing to Zap the fox.

Drago just stood there an shrugged, " we can't take these people one on one, thats for sure, i think we need to find the others" he told Xandar, " i am so pissed at Al, once we meet up again i am going to teach him how to treat his friends".
Then the snake curled around him, ' well time for some lightning' Drago began to release small, but strong amounts of electricity through the body of the hybrid, hoping that it would be unable to move as it would constrict him more in reflex, he then gave a quick glance at Xandar, " halp" he gasped as he croaked.

*Al continued charging and aimed his blade right for a clean stab through Drago's skull* Al: Yes.... Yes.... YES!

Geoff noticed Al and moved closer, shooting a bolt of lightning at him.
"A-HOLE!"

Xander stared at the weird snake/worm thing currently coiled around Drago. "What. The. Hell!?" He looked from the creature to the dragon. He then raised his sword and attempted to plunge it into the beast, meaning to try and cut Drago out just as Al approached.

??? (Dragon) - *Turned his attention to Xander*

*He raised his axe*
??? (fox) - *looked behind herself*

*She slowly stepped back, knowing she couldnt dodge in time*

The Ball blasts the fox with a blast of lighting, and then powers up for a second blast... Its orders were to destroy, that was exactly what it was going to do...

"Please let this work!" Xander wrenched his sword as hard as he can as he jumped back, away from the swing of the axe. He hoped that this would cause the sword to tear out of the side of the large snakeworm and free it, allowing him to keep it as he dodged and maybe even help free Drago. Two birds with one stone. If it din't however...well then he was in trouble.

*Alka was quickly approaching. He managed to take the bolt Geoff had shot at him, due to his current blood rage. The chances of Drago getting out alive was slowly decreasing, as Al's sword aimed to get him right between the eyes* Al: DIE YOU SCALEY F***!!!

Drago saw the blade approached and closed his eyes, he was going to do ot but he was worried that xandar would get cuaght but the positives outweighed the positive at the moment, 'hope al and xandar are touch cause this is going to hurt.
He began to create more fire amour first and began to consume himslef in order to burn the slithering hybrid.
The air became static, the ground began to crack and radiation began to pool around Drago....*Release* all the enegy he had been stoing burst out from within Drago. The dome shockwave of energy launched itslelf outward from Drago, more like a wall moving wall wpuld best describe it.

*The snake/worm hybrid was tossed aside and injured*
*It tried to burrow into the ground*
??? (Dragon) - What the?!
*Jumped back and tried to hold his position*
??? (Fox) - *The fox was electrocuted and dropped to the ground from the shock*

The electric ball shocks the fox again.

After shooting the bolt, Geoff's body felt cool and he began to feel slightly lightheaded and jittery. He dropped down for cover until it passed. Luckily it wouldn't take long. Once again he fell into the habit of putting too much power in his spells, but since he caught that early, he can prevent himself from doing that onwards.

*Al was stopped dead in his place from the pushback. He was very close by to Drago but stopped walking forward.* Al: Nng-..... *He panted heavily and his sword and arm dropped to his side. He kneeled down and coughed up a bit of blood. The electric shock from Geoff had shorted out his eye, and did minor damage to his neurological implants. The eye returned to it's natural blue colour, and Al just continued to pant* This... is bad. I need another plan... Wait. My Glaive-erang.... This may be my last chance... Just got to wait for the right moment...

Xander was pushed back a little by the energy burst, almost getting knocked down as well. He managed to keep stable and glanced over at Al. He was panting, not due to fatigue but more due to frustration and slowly building rage. He pointed at Al with his sword. "Don't even try anything! So help me, I'll pull you apart with my bare hands!"

Drago began to puke blood and fell to his knees again, ' damn it there goes more of my life' Drago thought

*Al looked up at Xander, his vision blurring slightly out of his non-mechanical eye* Al: Don't... get involved... in this... you're bite... is no where near... as strong as your bark.... *Al coughed up a little bit more blood and began backing away slightly, hand behind his back and rested on his glaive-erang*

Geoff got himself together and stood back up, peering down at the battle and preparing to cast a spell at the next opponent to make a move.

*Al was enough away to monitor his surroundings. He'll have to do so manually... something he hasn't done in a long time* Al: 3 people who want to kill me.... only 1 I actually want to kill... the dragon isn't doing much to help, and I'm certain we're not getting any back up anytime soon... I've got to escape while I still can. *Al grunted as he slowly stood. He wasn't in as much physical pain as he was disorientated*

Drago saw the flames heading towards his friend and rose back up and moved in time to conjure his own flame from his bloody hand straight at the Dragons flame, " xandar the Dragon is mine but you need to help Al, now more than ever we need him" Drago roared.

*Al noticed a loose sheet of paper on the ground, which looked to resemble some structural plans for the building site. He forced himself to cough up more blood and wrote on paper with it* Al: Head... throbbing... got to... get the message... while I still can.... *Al threw the glaive-erang at Leon and it hit the wall just beside him, the note facing Leon*
"Look, I'm going to fight for them, but only because I'm going under cover. So far I've found out that their boss is the only one that seems to be doing this out of pure evil. Some of the others are just mercenaries looking to get by. As for their boss himself, I haven't got any intel on him, other than his name being "Malek"... Throw this back and know that anyone I kill is a strategic move which will benefit the group in the future."

Xander yelped loudly and dived to the side. He looked confused and stayed on the ground for a moment, looking up at Drago. "Well...thanks." He scrambled to his feet and glared at Al. "You want me to help the man who seems to want you dead? Oh...I'll help the **censor** alright." He picked his sword up, having had to drop it as he dived. "Giving you one more chance to stop Al."

*Al collected himself a bit more and slumped a tiny bit, pulling out his final katana* Al: Over... my cold... dead... body... *Al gripped the Katana in both hands and took a defensive stance*

*The dragon started to spin, leaving his axe held out*

Geoff had attempted to toss a spell at the dragon when he first attacked, but the spell failed. He tried again now, shooting another bolt of electricity.

Xander stepped up to Al. "Indeed..." He readied his sword then stepped within arms length of him and made to sweep out Al's legs with a kick. Hoping that it wasn't what he was expecting.

*Al kept his position strong. The kick hurt and he grunted a bit, but it didn't change his defensive stance.* Al: Just... like I said... *Al a quick of his sword, purposefully missing to throw Xander off guard, before taking 2 steps back*

Grunan opens his eyes... he could just sense the Orb still...
"Oh..." he gulps. "Sss-top...." The orb dispels. And Grunan lies there, back against the wall... "Fortunate... no-one found me while I was out..." He wheezes. He glances around, and then climbs up so he can look over the side of the tower...

Xander dodged away from Al's sword unnecessarily. He knew the miss was on purpose and it confused him more. What side is this **censor** on?! If he's still undercover then what does it matter? Surely, they've heard us call him traitor. They should know by now! This confusion was just making him angrier, he was snarling at Al now.

*Al wasn't a mind reader and was going off of instinct at this point* Al: Everyone besides Leon will want me dead right now. I need to fight back. *Al took a more accurate swing of the sword, aiming for Xander's blade*

Al's blade hit Xander's mid swing. Xander resisted and kept pushing his blade against Al's, causing the two blades two push against each other and link and cross at the hand guard. This was now about who was not only stronger but more stubborn than the other.

*Al leaned into it slightly actively pushing backwards. He was slowly regaining his strength, and his head was no longer in pain* Al: This is about technique. I direct the sword where I want it to go, and force him into pushing into an unfavourable direction *Al began to push Xander's sword downwards* I can catch him off guard with my arm blades as well. Just got to wait for the correct timing....

Xander got extremely angry at this point, he leaned in as well, trying to force both of their blade's up. He roared out loudly, listening more to his anger and instincts then anything. Xander attempted to bite Al's shoulder and sink his teeth into it.

*Al saw Xander's mouth as an invitation for an attack, and actually forced his shoulder into Xander's jaw, with enough effort to knock out a few teeth. As a result, Xander's mouth was embedded into Al's shoulder and he let out a short gasp* Al: Argh, **censor**....! *Al continued to push Xander's sword downwards*

Grunan notices Alka and co, its a long way away... "No..." Grunan tries to use his Radio... He then realizes, he can force Al to switch sides again. "me and... Al... I think we failed... Our betrayal was a mistake... but we were in it together... We needed that weapon... WE NEEDED IT... we thought we could take it from you... From Nucleon... from everyone..." Grunan growls... "And that's what we intend to do."
Grunan grins. Misinformation, distraction, and of course, an end to Al's betrayal. Even if he kills Drago, Xander, Geoff... he would never return to the enemy. They probably knew anyway, after all, he was a traitor, if Grunan was a traitor, his friend probably is already known as a traitor... in a strange way he might have just saved his life.

Xander roared in pain at the few missing teeth, his mouth filling with blood. This only fueled his anger more and he bite down as hard as he could. Growling loudly, he tried to push his weight onto Al, aiming to cause them to both fall down to the ground.

*the Dragon slowly started spinning towards Drago*

*It didn't take much to begin to feel bone through the muscle. Al responded by growling, pain burning in his shoulder* Al: Fah-k..... *Al entered another blood rage, much like Xander and also pushed back with all his might*

Geoff growled.
Stupid. Metal Armor. I keep forgetting that...
He began shooting fireballs at the dragon instead.

Xander wasn't going to give up, he heard what the others had said and he just did not care. He gave an extra hard shove as he wrenched his jaw from Al's shoulder. The shove seemed like it would hopefully be enough to give the two some distance from each other.

*Al moved back with the shove getting a little bit extra distance. He was panting heavily, his shoulder now bloody* Al: Gah..... *Al looked up, locking on Xander. He wasn't finished. Not by a long shot. He was going to use every last ounce of blood in his body to kill Xander, even if it killed him as well* RAAAAAAAAARGH! *Al charged at Xander and swung his sword from right to left. The swing was hard enough to penetrate through armour*

Xander scrambled backwards a little before using a little sense, even in this state he could tell trying to attack would get him killed. He desperately dived to the side and tried to scramble to his feet quickly. "**censor** son of a bitch!"

*Al followed up his swing, charging at Xander a second time. This swing was a bit weaker, but would still cleanly cut through flesh* Al: My thoughts... exactly....

Nucleon - * started running over to the breach/battleground where Xander/al where*

Xander raises his sword to block the attack, intending for the Al's blade to bounce off his. Knowing that will probably cause his sword to fly out of his hands in the process and leave him defenseless afterwards.

Geoff stopped focusing on the dragon and tried to shoot a fireball at Al, pleading to himself that Xander won't get hit as well.

Grunan swears. "AL YOU SON OF A BITCH." he yells not even over the radio. He grabs his chalk, and tries to draw something on the wall, but he is too weak, and after a few wobbly lines, he collapses.

"NO." GRUNAN YELLS. "NEVER. NEVER..."
Then watch your friends die... helplessly... Like Seth... gutted like a fish. Unable to do anything but end the torture early... a single lighting bolt... did it hurt?
Grunan stares at his feet.

*A loud clang was heard through the battlefield. The two swords clashed, but Al's did not falter. His grip on his sword was unnecessarily strong. But he let go of his sword and grabbed Xander. The fireball could be heard flying through the air, so Al moved Xander around so he would take the brunt of it*
