Title: Any suggestions on the moving mouth base?
Post by: KurochiSuzuki on August 07, 2015, 04:37:10 PM
Well, I started on my very first fursuit and I'm not really confident in how it's going. Right now, it looks like an executioner duck. But I'm trying to shape the mouth like my fursona, AshFrost. I'll add the cheeks and ears later, but I need advice on this.(https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ouE6JJRfLak/VcTczYiPfZI/AAAAAAAABNQ/kl7IBhMYPn8/w957-h631-no/15%2B-%2B1)(http://pre02.deviantart.net/0d0d/th/pre/i/2015/216/5/4/ashfrost_by_gammie0324-d9492pr.jpg)

Please do not clutter other boards with multiple topics regarding the same project. You should only need one topic to seek advice on how to refine this fursuit.

*Note that I only have theoretical experience and have never actually built a suit myself*

The shape looks good as far as I can tell, tho it's hard to say for sure from only one angle and picture.
Tbh, all heads look like they're beyong saving before they're furred, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Also, you're not going to add "eyebrows"? I'm not 100% sure, but I think the face might end up looking a bit flat.

Yeah, I'm going to add elastic, cheeks, a brow, and ears. Thanks for the advice, btw!

I would say make the muzzle a little smaller, furring makes everything look huge, and you don't want it to be too bulky! Everything else looks fine from the angles I can see.
