You find yourselves separated from the group, unbeknownst to you that the others have gotten themselves lost in the blizzard as well. All you have to aid you is; A pair of snow goggles, a flashlight, a compass, and a poorly hand drawn map. The wind is howling, making hearing each other especially difficult. But it would be best to decide to not yell among the wilderness, there may be something out there that will harm you and the others if you are too loud.

[/size]A few rumbles and cracks from the mountain above sets in a reason to worry, it could crumble at any second and bury those beneath. Luckily there are few scattered base camps around the mountain, and on it itself, that have very little supplies to help travelers survive. The blizzard is blinding and the cold weather was enough to make skin blister.

(Alrighty)
Zaida her head tucked into her fluffy scruff, her ears leaned back. The hybrid walked in the snow her eyes looking down at a small compass she held, the snow crunching under her boots
-
Alistair inhaled deeply, things didn't seem right around the wilds lately. As if other furs had been in the area as of late. Following what he believed to be an internal compass he moved through the blinding blizzard.
-
Zaida stopped huffing most from her nose her looking around sometimes her head fully turning around just to be sure, she then continued forward her glowing eyes squinted from the blizzard, she looks seeing a fairly good cave, however it was deep but just enough to rest at for now, she pranced due to the high snow until arriving in the cave and sitting down closing her eyes and her head tucked in her fluffy scruff, keeping her best to stay warm.
-
Alistair kept trudging forward, a paw stamping directly in front of the cave Zaida was in as he stopped to listen and sniff the air. His thick black mane being blown in the dictating direction of the wind. Giving a small groan he sat down, there was no sense in trying to continue trekking on through the blistering cold even if he were a beast that was meant for this.
-
Her clothing made her camouflaged with the dark area in the cave and her white fur with the snow until she opened her eyes a bit looking at the large feline, not showing any emotion but studying it while her tail wrapped around her.
-
Alistair looked around a bit more, huffing as he began to roar periodically. It was clear he was marking territory, and made it a mental note to circle back around to this location in case he found any unfortunate travelers in the cold.
-
Zaida didn't know what to do, hearing the roar made her grow cautious the hybrid wasn't sure what to do but got up slowly
-
Alistair sniffed at the frost bitten ground at his paws, gently pawing at the ground as he didn't hear Zaida just yet.
-
The saber a bit too close made her snarl a bit her tail swaying up and down and her eyes glowing brighter looking at the large feline

Name: Naismith
Age: 32
Sex: Male
Species: German Shepherd
Anthro
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 73 kg
Appearance: german shepherd, with a full coat of black fur
Attire:US army Field Jacket, pants, and combat boots.
Personality: self serving. Smart. Stubborn, and patient when he needs to be. He has no patience for "idiocy" as he tells it. He is quick to forgive, but not to forget.
-
The saber a bit too close made her snarl a bit her tail swaying up and down and her eyes glowing brighter looking at the large feline
((Yeah in all honesty we were trying to wait for more people. Feel free to jump in whenever.))
Alistair jumped back, spooked by Zaida as his quick movement uncovered some winter crops which he was trying to dig from the frozen ground.
-
The black furries shepherd walked. It was all he could do. In this blistering cold, he could barely see, let alone get any sense of bearing. So, he pulled the hood of his field jacket up to the cold, extremely glad for his winter coat. Though, with the wilds like this, it didnt help much. He needed warmth. Now.
Wait... was that a cave?
-
Zaida looked at the saber her head still in her scruff and her tail wrapped in her as she looked at the large pink feline and sniffle studying the feral, looking at its large paws a bit curious of what it was doing
-
Alistair pawed at the ground again, this time digging his claws in and uncovering some radishes.
-
Zaida's ears perk up looking at this and back at the saber surprised. 'Food?' She though to herself
-
Alistair nodded, stepping back for the sergal to take the radishes. The saber thought to himself, "This sergal must be lost. Perhaps there are others?"
-
The hybrid's long tail unwrapped feeling more comfortable around the feral feline, and she grabbed a radish and taking a small bite from it, she was a bit hungry from the journey.
-
Geoff couldn't see a thing as he wandered through the thick storm.
"CIARAAA!" he called out repeatedly, the desperate cries broken by the howling winds.
He continued to wander until he stumbled into a rock wall. He patted his gloved paws at the surface, and after a while found a crevice he could squeeze into. Exhausted, he huddled up and waited for the storm to pass.
-
Zaida continued to eat the radish, pleased that the saber allowed her to have some. She sat back down crunching on the somewhat frozen vegetables
-
Just as soon as Alistair had appeared, he had left in search of others; leaving the sergal wondering if the saber was real or not.
-
Zaida continued eating radish. "could be another delusion" she said in a calm whisper.
-
Alistair squinted through the storm, hours later stopping at the crevice Geoff was inside.
-
Geoff had fallen asleep.
-
At this point Alistair had to lay down, covering most of the crevice Geoff had taken refuge inside. Snowflakes accumulating on his thick mane as the storm kept raging on.
-
A lone siberian tiger powered on throught the storm he white hide nearly blending with the snow as he moved. He was given away only by his black stripes
-
Alistair eventually had to move from his spot, it was either lay there and freeze to death, or move along and hopefully find shelter.
-
Beryl stopped and stuck his nose in the air. There he smelled it another cat close he couldnt tell how close. He padded on his large paws barely making any noise. He kept his nose swinging from side to side he didnt know where this other cat was but he didnt wanna bump into him if this was his territory. He needed shelter and fast
-
Alistair looked around in the storm, barely able to see anything in front of his nose. Disliking the fact that there hadn't been a storm this bad in years, not since the last extinction.
After trudging through the storm for awhile he saw something standing upright, he wondered if the animal had got them-self lost. The saber pushed through the deep snow with a slight calling groan, to see if the other was really there or not.
-
Beryl dropped to one knee and looked around he heard something but where. He looked through the blizzard and saw something large shillouetted in the snow. Do I run I thought can I run.
-
Alistair finally moved within view, his eyes going wide as he saw the other feline. Black sclera's showing well through the raging storm.
-
Zaida stopped eating she began to drop the vegetables in her bag, it wouldn't go bad. The blizzard would keep things cold especially if it was in her black backpack.
Sitting down she sighed letting mist show her exhale, before she scooter back against the rock wall keeping her head close to her scruff, she was warm and hidden by the dark small cave.
-
Beryl froze the eyes drawing his attention. What are..he broke off mid sentence as panic set in. This is the biggest cat ive ever seen he thought. Fear set deep in him
-
Alistair bared his large maxillary teeth, which didn't need much baring to begin with since they already went past his jowl line. Seeing another feline was cause for excitement and worry.
Wondering how the sergal (Did I spell that right, Zaida?) was holding up in the storm. There were a few scattered shelters on the mountain, with little supplies; and perhaps electricity unless the below zero temperatures had frozen the lines. Which seemed rather likely.
-
Beryl pulled his backpack off and opened it slowly showing that he had no weapons of any kind. "Easy big guy im just lost in the storm, im not gonna hurt you unless you start it". He knew he couldnt win but he wouldnt go down easy. "Im hungry and cold buddy" he put his hand out in front of him.
-
Alistair proceeded to stick his muzzle in the deep snow, moving away from Beryl. It seemed he was looking around for more wild vegetables that grew in the cold. Even after an hour had passed he came up empty, groaning in an irritated manner.
-
Beryl moved slowly away from the large cat he grabbed his bag and inched his way through the storm hoping to find shelter
-
((Yeppers, although she's a hybrid, sergal or Synx is fine))
Zaida closed her eyes, and drifting off in a nap. She mutter lightly while doing so and kept her tail wrapped around her for safety and warmth
(Sorry about delay)
-
((*Thumbs up at Zaida* If this role-play continues its gonna be fun.))
Alistair moved back out and into the storm, the night turning into day. This didn't improve any on visual conditions, if anything it may have made it worse.
-
Beryl worked his way through the snow he pulled his down tight. "If I didnt kow any better id say this storm has it in for me" he grumbled. And that ca what the hell was that thing
-
Alistair shivered, this weather was even too much for a prehistoric animal such as himself. Many miles ahead he found a moderately sized cabin, the power lines had frozen and fell into pieces. Great, no power equaled no heat.
Wondering if there was anything inside he hooked a claw on the metal ring, tugging the door open. Inside was untouched, not much else besides one emergency blanket, a small table, a futon, and a few cabinets that could have emergency rations.
-
As he continued on his path beryl came upon a hybrid sleeping. I wonder if she has any food. He studied her for a long time before dedideing he was gonna find out. Slowly he crept in looking for her bag.
-
Zaida ear's flicked a bit, she was a light sleeper naturally and didn't want her items to be stolen... Nor attacked by whatever was near her. Zaida's eyes shot open, glowing sea green and her faded pupils concentrated on the fur, narrowing her eyes at him.
-
"Jesus" beryl stopped "what the hell is with those eyes?" He backed up a little bit. Im just hungry and lost is all
-
The large saber squeezed himself inside, closing the door with his hind paw. Laying down with a small huff and curling up into a ball.
-
"Doesn't mean you go snooping around...especially when someone is sleeping" She hissed in a light calm tone to the fur.
-
Im just lost is all, he put his hands up, if you have any food to spare ill just be on my way
-
It seems hours had passed, the storm lifted some; but just enough for travelers to see ten feet in front of them. The mountain the saber and the students had been on for approximately half a day so far let out a low, but loud, rumble. There could be an avalanche any moment now, best not make any loud noises lest the snow come tumbling down from the top to bury those beneath it.
Temperatures not warming any, but seemingly cooling down even more. Soon any inhabitants would have to seek more secure shelter, or get lucky enough to find a small campsite to retrieve emergency supplies. One could only hope and pray at this point that things took a turn for the better and not for the worse.
Alistair awoke and shivered, bowing his front half, and stretching out until his claws had unsheathed. Clawing the floor a bit left a clear indicator of his presence in case he decided to leave the small cabin. With a half-hearted yawn the saber stood, blinking out the yawn tears before giving a huff to adjust his body to a more awakened state of being. Scanning the room he decided to try and sit in the chair to stare out the window, just another fruitless effort to pass the time until he had to go back out into the storm to continue with his monotonous life. Even though he looked rather ridiculous sitting in the chair, since his hind legs hung off the sides of the chair, and his front limbs were on the floor.
Deciding against staying, which could possibly have provided him shelter until others discover it, he squeezed out the door after opening it and back out into the blistering cold. Trudging through the snow didn't take that much effort since he was born in this region, he crossed by the caverns again; hearing a little bit of commotion he trotted over to the crevice the two furs were currently residing in. Only able to squeeze his head in to watch the two squabble.
-
Beryl backed up slowly. "Alright well im gonna just be on my way then". Be backed away and stood up thinking to himself I need food
-
The tiger would find himself blocked from the exit since Alistair stood in his way, the large saber looked down at Beryl with a snort. It was obvious that he may be friendly regardless of their odd first encounter. Even though he wanted to be selfish and keep the small cabin for himself, he turned his ears back and decided he would lead him there.
Its the least he could do for the feline who had gone astray in the blizzard.
-
Beryl stopped when he saw the saber. Lets try something differet he thought. He slowed raised his paw and held it out for the saber.
-
Alistair thought for a moment, then gently nudged Beryl's paw with his nose. The saber was showing acceptance of the tiger, pulling his head out of the crevice with little effort as he motioned for the other to follow.
-
She finally opened her eyes, must have fallen asleep which wasn't her intention although it was refreshing. She yawned and checked everything seeing the tiger she saw earlier didn't steal anything she had.
-
He looked back at the hybrid and pulled his scarf back over his face before following the saber back out into the storm. He looked aroud and was relieved to see the storm has slowed ever so slightly.
-
The saber kept close to Beryl, even with the storm still blowing there could still be other predators out and about. Squinting in the cold weather he turned his head, sniffing the air as something; or rather someone; approached. Alistair braced himself, since he was one of the top predators, knowing that what lied beyond the wall of white could be taken down with ease.
-
Beryl moved up cautiously and placed his paw on the saber. "I'll follow big guy." He wasnt sure if the saber planned to eat him or not but he didn't have a choice.
-
Geoffrey awoke, unaware of his brief visitor. The bear peered out from his hiding spot into the frigid, blustery abyss. He wished to stay in his shelter until the storm calmed before setting out to look for everyone. He was growing peckish, but he wasn't terribly worried. He had a few snacks in his backpack, and if he ended up stuck here and couldn't find more food, he could handle hunger for a while. Of course, that was just in the worse case; chances are that he could find the others and get to their destination. They couldn't be too far away...
-
Seeing a figure approach through the wall of white he recognized him slightly, the saber squinted, and carefully stepped forward until he was mere inches from the Geoffrey. Letting out a surprised snort he backed up, accidentally pushing Beryl over and into the snow. Although the startled saber could be enough to scare anyone, his appearance said otherwise; light pink fur and thick black mane billowing in the wind.
Storm now thickening back into what it was before, the wind gusting faster; Alistair knew he would have to get the two to safety lest they freeze to death in the blizzard. Even thought the small cabin had no heat it would be some relief from the cold for some time until the two would need to find their way back to civilization.
-
Harmony grumbled. She had somehow weathered the last storm, and was just venturing out to look for the others when the wind had begun to whip up. Little snowflakes peppered her coat, dusting the rusty fur with white. She squinted against the storm, raising a hand to try and keep the biting wind away from her eyes. What was that? "Hello? She cried out. Were there furs over there? She could hardly see, and considered turning back. But when she turned to look, her footprints had been filled in. Harmony sighed, and trudged through the thick snow and howling wind towards whatever it was she thought she saw.
-
Geoffrey jolted at the beast he could barely make out in the blustering snow. He held his breath and backed away. The last thing he wanted at this point was to anger a predator. He turned around and attempted to run as silently as possible, not that it mattered with the howling of the storm.
-
Standing, Zaida felt the snowflakes blow against her fur. Beginning to walk she felt the crunch of snow beneath her, the hybrid was hoping to find a better area than a cave to go to even an old shed would do. Taking her chances in the woods covered with snow, Zaida walked north. Keeping her head against her fluffy scruff and paws in her pockets. Mist escaped her mouth by each breath.
-
Seeing as how the familiar figure retreated he picked up Beryl by his scruff, being careful to not pierce his neck with his long maxillary teeth. The pink saber had to trudge his way through the snow despite being the biggest predator in the area, panting through his nose after some time from carrying the tiger with his mouth rather than carrying them by allowing them onto his back.
Alistair's loud crunching footsteps could be heard a small distance away just in case anyone had been in the immediate area. Small cabin coming into focus once they were a very few short feet in front of it the saber set Beryl down in front of it, gently nudging him to urge that he go inside instead of stay out here.
Although it seemed a foolish idea he turned and bellowed into the white abyss, hoping that if the others were surviving they could hear his calls and follow the sound. Having doubts that anyone could hear him except his new found friend at this point in time. After calling five times he had to stop to catch his breath, feeling that all his efforts were for naught and that the survivors would perish in due time.
-
Geoff heard the bellowing of the saber, but didn't interpret it as a signal, but a warning. He felt he had to stay far away from the feral's territory and ran the opposite way, looking for better shelter to stay in until the storm calmed. It was obvious he didn't have much time left.
-
Harmony's ear perked up. Something ahead was making noise. She started to run through the blizzard, calling out as she went. "Hey! Is anyone there? I'm lost!" She crunched through the snow towards the noise. The closer she got, the more she could distinguish the sounds over the wind's howl. Something was roaring. Harmony stopped dead in her tracks, stumbling backwards into the snow. She shivered, the cold invading her fur. Only an idiot would run towards something roaring, but she couldn't stay out here much longer. She hunched up in the snow to think, the storm slowly burying her.
-
Geoff tripped at the foot of a mountain. He pushed his exhausted body forward, crawling on his hands and knees, his eyes just making out what appeared to be a small opening in the rock which dipped at an angle down into a cave. He poked his head in and reached his hand into his coat pocket to fish out a flashlight. At first shining it at the stone floor right below the entrance just in case, he gradually lit up the cave walls to check for any sign of a feral creature's den. The cave was apparently small, but larger than he expected from the opening.
He crawled through the opening and softly slid down the short drop into the cave. He set the flashlight on the ground and stood back up and turned to the entrance, packing the snow surrounding it to cover the entrance and block out the wind.
There was enough room to build a fire if he had the supplies. He had flint and steel, but nothing to light. Once the storm calmed, he'll try to gather some wood. But for now, he had to get more rest. He curled up against the cave wall, gradually warming himself up somewhat now that he was out of the wind and snow.
-
Hearing the noise of the saber. "Hallucinations?" She asked with a murmur to herself before there was a moment of silence. "It's better than nothing..." The hybrid said towards the roar. Zaida huffed and pulled the hood over her head continuing where she had heard he call.
-
She was getting too cold. Harmony stood up and shook the snow out of her fur. Going back wasn't an option, and she couldn't see anything trough the blowing snow. The storm wasn't letting up any time soon. Harmony took a few stumbling steps forward. The chill was getting to her, the wind was too strong. She pushed towards the last place she had heard the roar, hurrying the best she could.
She kept her head down and her ears back, shuffling through the snow for what seemed like forever. Her half frozen feet kicked wood, and she tripped forwards. Harmony squinted against the wind, looking up at a small cabin. She pounded on the door. "Hello?" She yelled. "Is anyone there?"
-
Alistair could be heard scrambling to get the door, his claws had definitely left a few more marks than the ones he purposefully left in the first place. Opening the door he saw the fur before him, cold and shaking. Although the saber being an abnormally large feral would not help this situation. Wondering if the animal at the door knew saber cats were extinct in the first place.
He reached forward and grabbed the fur with his jowls, pulling them inside. There was no heat and very little food, the most the cabin could offer right now was shelter from the wind; not the cold. Looking over to Beryl he gave a soft snort to make sure he was resting peacefully and had not frozen over from the blistering cold.
There was some tinder and dry logs left in the fire-place, but nothing to initially light it with. Perhaps with some patience and time one could light a fire the deep stone pit. The pink saber curled up next to Beryl since Alistair radiated his own natural body heat.
-
Harmony felt herself be dragged across the floor. She lay there for a bit, before wearily sitting up. Harmony looked around. There was a large pink saber curled up on the ground next to a siberian tiger. The wind rattled the windows. She shivered, there was a draft coming from somewhere. Harmony checked to see where it was coming from, and discovered an empty fireplace.
She crawled over to it and patted herself down. She had a flashlight tied to her, and some flint. "Oh no.." She muttered, groping around frantically. She groaned. "Seriously? I dropped the steel." She slumped on the ground in defeat.
-
Geoff struggled to stay asleep and simply waited for the storm to cease. The others had to be around somewhere, but he had no idea where to go. He didn't want to wander too far from this shelter and get lost.
-
The saber was willing to go back out into the cold to look for other survivors, but he didn't want to leave in case his new found friends froze to death while he was gone. Thinking quickly he nudged the flint with his large maxillary tooth, surprised when a small spark flew from that. Alistair soon groaned and huffed since he had no possible way to light the fire-place himself, gently pawing at the flint to scoot it across the frozen floor to the edge of the fireplace.
Storm only getting worse with time as day turned to night, the felid's ears perking as he heard strange howling and snarling; Folding his ears back as he bared his teeth, watching the door cautiously. It seemed they weren't alone out here in the mountainous region.
-
Setcho's body laid in the snow lifeless, he had given up hope awaiting his fate. His body was gathering snow every second and soon he wouldnt be visible to anyone, blending into the mountain side. He whimpered quietly curled up, as he couldnt feel anything as it numbed from the cold.
