Title: Rest in Peace
Post by: AngelWingsCreations on July 06, 2015, 12:13:47 PM
Last night I had to say goodbye to my best friend. After I went to bed Tucker was taken to be put down. I'll miss him forever and he'll always be my favorite dog.

I know the feeling... you can get through it, and I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you, Zaida. I will feel better about it in due time, but this week so far has been rough. Especially at work.

Yeah, this is one bad thing about having pets, especially dogs: their short lifespan.
You are so greatly connected with each other and suddenly BAM he's gone. This sucks.

Try to just get through it. :)

Yep, I know that feeling.
Happened three months ago and I'm still not over it.
My sympathies.

I am sorry for your loss. I've had several pets die of various causes before.

It is best to think less of his death, and more of his life and what you did with him.

I hope you find peace.
Best of luck.

I know the feeling  x_x, had 2 rabbits, 1 dog, and countless fish (if that even counts, R.I.P in peace pickles) pass away (Not recently to avoid confusion)

Just get through it, and like hollow said, think about what you did with him while he was alive instead  :)

Wow... Thank you everyone. All your kind words are helping me a bit. And that's what my mom and I are trying to do. Think of memories of Tucker's life. And it kind of does help.

I'm sorry too, it's always painful to lose a best buddy. When I was younger I lost two of my dogs within a few months of each other so I can relate a lot  :( I hope that you can remember all the fun times you had with him so he can remain with you even a little bit.
