Is it worth to create an account on FurGather?
I don't know nothing about it, except the fact that it works like a Facebook clone.
-
Yeah, you should consider making an account. I's not as busy as Facebook but it's a neat site. If you want, you can add me there at: https://www.furgather.com/VoodooMax (https://www.furgather.com/VoodooMax)

I guarantee you this site will be dead within 2 years. There have been several precursors to this like Furbook.

Why ya say that?
-
I have an account. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.
-
It is extremely dead. Like spooky-dead. I'm not really sure why i'm even there. 90% of accounts are abandoned and just drifting. And it's not exactly user-friendly.
-
I feel that the site would be much better off if it actually gained a bit of publicity within the community.
Of course, one of the main issues that prevents it from becoming popular is the lack of user-run pages, and as a result, a lack of content resulting from such pages.
-
So best thing to do is leave it and forget about it? Or is there way to save it? We don't really have alot of furry friendly area. And facebook version is nice. Or is there better website to check out?

I don't see why anyone wants to depart from TFF in the first place

Sign up, bookmark and tell your friends

A friend of mine from IT took a look at it's source code once and says it's even worse of a security wreck than Facebook and Google combined. He recommended using an email where you don't mind spam for registration and using a password you use nowhere else.
That's also the reason why I don't have an account. I have a furry account on Facebook and that's enough for me =) They caught me once but yeah. Still there.

Good to know

Sometimes members of the community can be toxic, or someone came for something that wasn't really big on here (like fursuits), or the threads can be really sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww to get replies. I hadn't heard of FurGather before this thread, so that tells me it might be a bit empty too.

TFF and Furgather are night and day. Regardless of what you go there looking for, you will not find it.
