Title: Family traditions?
Post by: Eclipse1 on June 21, 2015, 03:45:36 PM
Does your family have any traditions? It can be anything.

Every Sunday my mother makes pancakes and it's always been a personal favorite of mine. There's this sense of unity.

My mother ends up giving me Christmas/birthday presents a few months in advance. She is the only one in my family who does this. I will not complain.

On new year's eve, we all watch "Dinner for One" together, since it only airs once a year.

Also "The last Unicorn" airs once a year and we watch that together too <3

Every Sunday we eat arepas (they're like patties made out of corn flour and are similar to tortillas except a lot thicker, smaller and tastier) stuffed with cheese along with fried eggs and hot chocolate with bread for breakfast. Don't really care about being together with the family but I love the arepas, so it's always a favorite.
