Let's say you join an RP based on a subject you generally admire and know well. Things go fine, RPers write fine, everything starts off okay. But then an innocent series of mistakes forms a snowball effect. Discontinuity is abundant, scenarios come up which would never occur, objects appear and obstacles disappear without any explanation. Say this RP was based on a book, so it is a fact as to what would happen realistically. If I were part of a Harry Potter RP, and Voldemort dies, only to somehow miraculously revive and drop a nuclear bomb on Hogwarts, am I allowed to make a seperate thread with new and more refined rules, but under the same related context? Could I start another Harry Potter RP if the one which already exists makes no sense?
Harry Potter is just a placeholder. I don't plan on doing a Harry Potter RP just to be clear.

Do you realise that there are still some people that haven't readed the series yet and plan to?

I am not saying he actually dies in canon. I am talking about an RP scenario.

With permission, definitely!
without permission?
Ehhh... only if you make it different enough that it is for a different group of people.
