So, I am 19 years old, and I am starting classes at my local community college this summer. I have some people I hang around, but nobody I can truly be myself around... Truthfully, I have a pessimistic viewpoint on the world around me, but I'm trying to surround myself with the more positive, which is why I am a brony, as well, MLP is so positive and just brightens my day. I am a fursuiter, and I love furry art in general, but I have no friends who share the same interests, and all the people I know believe it to be quite odd, which, I am aware, it is strange, but to have nobody to share the interest with is incredibly alienating. There is a part of me which is being repressed............

Hi there! I know exactly how you're feeling. I have no friends who share my fur interests either. We can be friends if you'd like! You can message me anytime n____n

Eventually you reach a point where you're not sure if being alone is even a bad thing anymore... It might even be better.

Never
Being alone, at least in my case, causes more harm. I wish I spend more time with my friends, but I'm too shy to ask them.

Hope I'm not too late replying.
I suggest you plan some time out of your busy schedule to search for and get out to furry conventions or to see if a furry meetup would be possible around where you live. While it is disappointing that the immediate world around you is not so accepting and understanding of furries, it's clear that you haven't gotten the chance to see the world beyond that yet. It is much bigger than you imagine so there is a reason to have faith you will meet somebody with your interest someday.
If nothing else, remember this: there is so much more to the furry fandom than a computer screen. You are never really alone in anything. You just have to look around a little.
