Title: What is your favorite Japanese food?

Well, if you bothered to read the title I just wanted to know what some of you guy's favorite Japanese food is. Mine for example is Takoyashi especially with extra sauce.  ^_^

The thing is, ive only been exposed to "Japanese" food in America, which i know isn't true Japanese haha. I don't know, there's this one place i go to for Teriyaki Salmon, not sure if thats authentic Japanese but the place seems to be. Also, matcha Kit-Kats  :* miso (?) soup is delicious too.

I go to Tokyo for my Friends birthday and stay with her for a few weeks. IDC what the food is called or tastes like it all tastes like ...Amazing! I love going there and ordering something new. But I think my favorite thing was BBQ eel her mum made with sprouts and homemade sour sauce! She's also the reason I know how to cook authentic Asian food <3 can't wait to go back!!!

Well it may not be authentic I do enjoy sushi very much and just recently had some Eel sushi and it was really good!

I always appreciate sushi, but spicy ramen dishes are my favorite <3

There's a specific meal I really like. Double quarter pounder w/ large fries and Coke or Dr. Pepper.


They have a lot of McDonald's establishments in Japan.

Please keep it into Japanese foods only, and also McDonalds doesnt really count for Japanese food even though it has many franchises around the world.
