Furry society was changed forever after an apocalyptic war that brought the world to ruin. Pollution has weakened the environment. Governments have fallen. Chaos rules, with huge mega-corporations battling and destroying each other for shares of the world’s wealth. In this bleak world, a single corporation, Typhon Inc., rises above the others. Rather than joining in direct battles with their competitors, Typhon Inc. has profited from their suffering by selling them the very weapons they use against each other. Sales of weaponry are not the only source of profit for Typhon Inc., however. Their entertainment division produces the top rated television broadcast of the future, simply called "The Arena", which also serves as a testing ground for Typhon Inc.’s weapons. Here, fighters from across the globe are chosen to compete in the tournament and fight other competitors. The winners of the tournament are promised whatever they desire. The losers suffer a significantly poorer fate.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen!" A handsome, suited husky said to the wild crowd, holding a microphone while standing on a hoverpad, "Welcome to tonight's Arena battle!" The bleachers were cheering wildly as armed Typhon troopers stood around the arena, making sure the crowd didn't go too wild. The arena itself was circular and twenty feet wide, and the floor was made of a strange flat surface with hexagon patterns in it. "TO start off today's match, let me introduce you folks to our first contestant! Heeeere's Pain!" With that, a door on one side of the arena opened as four Typhon troopers led the first fighter out.

*Pain walked out, handcuffed. They kept remote handcuffs on him, to make sure he didn't kill the troopers. He looked up at the crowd, spitting at them as he walked towards his starting point*

"And at the other corner, we have one of Typhon Inc.'s most fearsome products! We give you, the Riptor Assault and Infiltration Unit!" With that, the door at the opposite side of the room opened as a feral, cybernetic velosiraptor was brought into the arena in a remote control cadge. If there was one thing that made these creatures feared, it was their mindless and brutal nature to kill everything in plain sight. The Riptor snarled and roared as it bit at the cage, seeing Pain as it's meal.

*Pain, simply looked at the monstrosity, his expression still emotionless* Inelegant. Untrained. Cocky. This monster shall see a loss, because it lets itself down.
((Feel free to include more backstory. I'm gonna head off to bed))

"Alright, with our contestants ready we will begin the fight. Starting now!" With that, the cage opened as the Riptor charged straight towards Pain with it's teeth and claws bared.

*Alka's handcuffs detached and fell to the ground, but he picked them up. A weapon is a weapon. He began swinging them around like nunchaku, waiting for the Riptor to come within swinging range*

Eventually, the Riptor leaped in the air to rake Pain with it's razor sharp claws.

*Pain jumped over the Riptor, and swung the handcuffs at it's spine. He put quite a bit of force behind it. Definately enough to break the spinal chord*

The beast let our a yowl of pain as it landed on it's feet. Although it's back had been damaged, it's anger was only fueled as it then tried to hit Pain with it's tail.

*Pain stamped it's tail into the ground, breaking the bone in their as well. He then jumped away from the beast*

Making a furious roar, the Riptor charged at Pain to dig it's teeth into his flesh.

*Pain launched the nunchaku right into the left side of it's jaw. He followed up with a hit to the right side as well*
((Heading off to bed. I like where this RP is going. Night~))

The Riptor reared back and gave a snarl, and tried to blindly bite at Pain again.
In a long hallway in the Typhon HQ, two troopers led a wolf to what looked to be a tall door.

Angder glanced around, and snarled as one of the troopers pushed him "Hey! Keep pushing like that and..." Angder paused, he was in the Typhon HQ, he was a prisoner here, there was not a whole lot he could do. "...Well I am sure I would find something to do to you" He mumbled as he was shoved through the tall door.

The troopers led Angder to a large, ominous office. At the other side of the room sat a desk with large monitors behind it. A figure sat in an desk chair that faced away from Angder and the troopers. "Come in." A feminine voice spoke.

Angder walked up to the desk, he moved to sit down but one of the troopers stopped him. Angder sighed. "You asked me... well, forced me, to come talk to you." Angder stated. talking to the figure behind the desk

"According to the data given to me, you bare a great knowledge over demons." The voice said in a deep, yet calm, tone, "Knowledge in which we could utilize for the greater good of society."

"We?" Angder tried not to laugh "I was doing that before you decided to force me to come here" Angder glared at the chair on the far side of the desk, and sighed "Your about to explain how I can help YOU for YOUR greater good." Angder stated "No need distort the facts here."

"True, being the CEO of Typhon Inc. it is my soul purpose to lay the foundation for the perfect future." She admitted without hesitation, "But then again, how could one achieve such a feat without powerful allies?"

Angder glared at the CEO "Just, get on with it already. What exactly are you asking?"

"We need your knowledge of demons to help us in a certain... project... we're working on." She then said, "This project will not only save billions of lives, but will also stand as another step in our goals to create the perfect future."

Angder smiled, and sighed "this is Against my better judgment but... Explain?"

"In this project, we will be developing a new strand of products what will help rid the world of demons." She said, followed by a chuckle, "Being the demon hunter you are, I can imagine that you can relate to this project."

"What your talking about is genocide" Angder stated flatly "Not all demonic creatures are evil."

"Genocide, maybe." She said, "But demons have no place in our future."

Angder paused, and sighed "What will happen if I refuse?"

"Simple," she replied, "You will either become one of our test subjects or put in The Arena."

*Alka jumped onto the monsters back and began strangling it with the nunchaku*

Angder stared at the floor for about a minute. Part of him wanted to take option three, tear the CEO's throat out. but he knew he would not get half way across the desk before he was killed..
"Test subject" he said at last, looking down at his feet "In the arena I could be killing innocents... in the labs at least..." Angder sighed. "Just use me as a test subject"

After a short silence, she then said, "Such a waist." With that, the troopers took Angder away. After a while, the troopers led Angder to a prison-like room full of cells and prisoners, where they shoved him into one of the cells.

*Pain eventually crushed the creatures windpipe and jumped off of it*

The Riptor struggled to breath, before collapsing onto the ground, dead.

Angder sat down quietly, What the hell was he THINKING. suddenly it occurred to him he could have simply said yes, and sabotaged them from within...
Ah well, to late for that now. he slumped against the wall, and waited.

The CEO still wanted to gain access to Angder's knowledge to use it for Project Hellfire, but knew that it wouldn't be easy. She sat at her desk, pondering in what to do next...

*Alka threw the nunchaku at the beasts head, to make sure it was dead*

Angder dared not attempt an escape. Doing so would probably kill him and his friends... he had to just wait and hope he got an opportunity to do...
Angder sighed. right now he did not even have a goal. he just had to wait...

As the crowd cheered, troopers began to the guide Pain back through the entrance and into his cell, which was where Angder was.

Angder watches Pain as he enters, but remains silent.

*Pain didn't pay Angder any attention. He simply sat with his back against the wall, like he always did*

Angder crawled over to the newcomer, he had little else to really do right now. "hello?"

The door to the cells opened revealing Zarco being escorted by guards
He had pawcuffs on aswell as a magic restriction band to ensure the guards were safe
The guards locked him in one of the cells

Angder. Renowned Demon Hunter. Known for his clean streak of never missing a demon the second he sets his eyes on one. *Alka turned to Angder, finally giving him some attention* If you expect small talk from me, you will not be satisfied.

Angder did not notice Zarco and continued talking to Pain, "So... why are you here? what did you do to piss off the company?"

I'm here because the people who run this Typhon are sick, twisted and cruel. I was picked up after scrummaging around for scraps and taken in for extreme testing. A project called "Mega-Soldier." The worked here call me Pain. Mostly because I can't feel most of what is dished out to me. After being tortured and beaten to within an inch of my life, over and over and over again, I was ready to put to the test. That's why they've signed me up for "The Arena."

Zarco sat at the edge of his cell and he looked around at the others
he then sat completely still, staring at the wall awaiting his fate

*Alka turned to Zarco, and just stared at him*

*He looks Zarco up and down, carefully analysing every single body trait he can*

Something like that. If we meet up in the Arena, anything I can know about you before hand will make it easier for me to win.

I just took down a Riptor, in a one on one fight, using nothing but makeshift nunchaku. If you don't know what a Riptor is, it's one part velociraptor, one part cybernetics, and 1 part cold-blooded, mindless killer.

*His expressions suddenly gave off a bit of anger* Don't apologise. The last thing I need is pity. And friends. *He stood up and punched the wall, cracking it before sitting down again, no longer looking at Zarco*

Angder glances down at his paws. not cuffed. not collared. they didn't need to do anything to keep him here... escaping was too dangerous, he leaned back. "Just wish they would hurry up already." he said.

*Alka sighed as he proceeded to do pull ups on a bar they had on the top of his cell*

*Sighed and sat back in his cell, staring at his paws and looking to be in deep thought*

"SO... what is your story then?" Angder asks, glancing over at Zarco.

*looked towards Angder*
I'd rather not talk about my past but for now I'll just say that I got captured by Typhoon,
I have no idea what they have planned for me yet, but be on your guard if we enter battle.

"Its not me I am worried about... Its my friends..." Angder said mournfully "Typhoon went after them, and I gave myself up to protect them..."

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that
..someone rather close to me got captured so I came here to save them
I havent seen them since and now.. I'm stuck here too

Suddenly, two guards came to Zarco's cell and opened it, saying to him, "Alright, it's your turn, newbie."

Angder sighed. "Good luck." He said, flatly.

I'm surprised they aren't using me to heal damaged combatants but ah well..

Another guard then came to Angder and said, "Your coming too."

Angder shrugged, he did not have a whole lot of choice, he left his cell, and followed the guard.

Izumi knew the moment she was taken into bindings and heard the words test and subject together that she was in trouble. She sat waiting in a corner of a dark room, waiting for those voices to come back and retrieve her.

The guards then took Zarco and Angder to the arena where the crowd was. "Alright folks, this is the second match!" With that, the bell rang and the fight began.
Two furs in lab coats and goggles came to Izumi, accompanied by four troopers. "Good evening, ma'am." One of the scientists said with a grin, "Are you ready for your examination?"

Izumi scoffed in reply, keeping her eyes turned down and away from the looming scientists and their accompanying forces. She stood up slowly, figuring it would be better in her favor to comply then to fight back. Just in case, she she scanned the area with quick glances just looking for any possible escape.

She stood up slowly, figuring it would be better in her favor to comply then to fight back. Just in case, she she scanned the area with quick glances just looking for any possible escape.
Two of the troopers led Izumi to the genetics/cybernetics experimentation wing of the facility, which was filled with horrifically deformed test subjects and other unspeakable atrocities and weapons. Izumi was then led to a metal table.

Only glancing momentarily at the grotesque forms around her, Izumi quivered in fright and whimpered softly to herself. Again, she scanned for partially open windows or cracked door that might give the quick fox a chance to escape, but much to her dismay none were available to her. She stared at the cold, metal table- unwilling to get on the table unless instructed to do, inwardly hoping the table wasn't for her as she tried to block out the pained sounds of experiments gone wrong.

Angder sidesteps, and takes a swing with blizz, aiming to hit Zarco with the flat of the blade as he moves past

*Moves his shield around to the side but gets hit, knocking him slightly off balance*
*Fires a small energy pulse to throw Angder back in the hopes of allowing himself to re-gain his balance*

The blast of magic surprises Angder, He is pushed back and almost drops Blizz, he steps back and prepares for zarcs next attack.

*Throws his axe directly up and fires a volley of low power energy bolts at Angder, mainly to fear him*

Angder tries to dodge, but one of the bolts hit him, he looks down at his leg in astonishment. "Is... Is that it? Angder charges at Zarco, completely unhindered by the bolt that hit his leg.

Angder ducks as the axe goes over his head, he then rolls, and gets up facing Zarco
"how do you expect to fight without a weapon though?"

With a snort Izumi struggled momentarily before deciding to save her strength. For one of the first times, she spoke up with a snarl, "Don't touch me... please." She thought to add in at the last moment so as not to make them angry. She moved as far away from the scientists on the table as possible considering the straps.

*Fires a powerful beam for a split second towards Angder*

Angder dodges the beam, and hears the crash as it hits the wall behind him. "AH... right"
Angder runs in a curved line towards Zarco, and swings at His legs with Blizz.

"I know!" One of the scientists then pulled out a long needle with a strange green substance in it and held it up to observe it, smiling sadistically.
The crowd cheered from Zarco and Angder's battle.

*Lowers his shield to block the attack*
*The axe hits the shield and Zarco is thrown back a bit*
..I need to lose the extra weight..

Angder immediately swings his axe again, swinging it down at zarco's arm.

*steps to the side and unhooks his shield*
*Takes the impact with both hands holding the shield and Kicks Angder*

Izumi started struggling harder, glaring up at the scientist standing over her. "What is that??" She glanced at all of the grotesque experiments and frowned, thinking that could be her soon.

Angder swears as the kick hits his leg. and then limps back slightly, before taking another swing, this time at Zarco's legs again.

"A serum from the archives of Babylon." The scientist said, "We use this to dull the brain so that the body doesn't feel any pain while we perform experiments on it. A temporary lobotomy you could say." With that, the scientist went over to Lzumi to inject it into her. However, one of the straps on her left arm was loose.

*Throws the shield at Angder but gets a slice in one of his legs*
ARGH!..

Angder gets hit solidly across the face by the shield, he drops blizz as he clutches at his wound. momentarily stunned by the blow.

*Quickly fires a large energy bolt at Angder, using up most of his remaining mana pool but just enough so that he can continue incase things don't go well*

The crowd cheered wildly, chanting Zarco's name. However, a clocked figure watched from the bleachers.

Angder recovers just in time to see the bolt. "Shi-" *WHAM* Angder is thrown, landing flat on his back, and sliding across the ground.

Angder slowly climbs to his feet. "not... over... yet..." He states, clearly still slightly dazed. He then charges at Zarco, with nothing but his claws.

She had realized the loose strap earlier and saw this as her chance. Although she was not big nor strong, she moved quickly- surprising the scientist as she knocked the syringe out of their hand, watching it crash and shatter. She quickly started reaching to try and untie herself to get away.

*gets back to his feet and ignites his paws*
*to himself* I've got about half a minute untill I'm out..
*Readies himself*

One of the troopers was about to hit Izumi with the butt of his gun when a voice called out. "Stop!"

Angder leaps at Zarco, claws outstretched. He hoped to land on Zarco, and from there to grab him by the neck.

*Steps one leg back and holds out his claws, hoping for the best*
*his back leg collapsed as he did this due to it being wounded*

She froze as the trooper did, gulping slightly as she turned to see the source of the voice. Izumi feared the worse- feared she'd be punished for not obeying as she should have.

Angder lands on Zarco, pushing him to the ground and pinning him, he places an arm over his neck. "Sur... surrender" Angder struggles to speak, clearly out of breath "You... are... are... beaten..."

*stabs his burning claws into Angders chest in the hopes he will get off*

Angder looks down at his chest. "Well... Crap..." Angder collapses onto zarco, and blacks out.

*pushes Angder off himself and breathes deeply, lieing on the floor*

She froze as the trooper did, gulping slightly as she turned to see the source of the voice. Izumi feared the worse- feared she'd be punished for not obeying as she should have.
A short, brown bear stood in a lab coat and goofy looking eyes. "Mr. Brown!" One of the scientists said, having a worried expression, "I-I thought you were-"
"Well I'm back!" The bear said in a stern tone, "And I demand that you let this woman off of that table!"
With Zarco being the victor, troopers led him back to his cell while Angder was taken to the infirmary to recover.

Angder woke up, and glanced around, the room he was in seemed was a blur that seemed to spin and turn as he watched... "wha... where the hell am I?" he blinked and tried to rub his eyes, as his vision began to come into focus...

"Ah, the specimen is awake!" Five scientists surround Angder, who was on a steel table. next to the table was a table full of bloody syringes and tools.

Angder tried to lift his arms, they were strapped down, so were his legs. "Right... Specimen... I assume you are not just going to heal me then..."

"We did heal you." The scientists replied, "We just had to... replace... a certain something inside of you though surgery."

"Replace what exactly?" Angder said, almost scared to know the answer...

*Walked back to his cell with the guards*
..I'm surprised how good of a shape I'm in..

"Why your heart." They replied with creepy smiles, "When your opponent stuck his claws into you, he'd punctured your heart, causing you to bleed internally. You would have been dead if it weren't for our technology. Congratulations, you now have a cybernetic, enhanced heart."

"Huh... right thanks... whats the catch?"

"Since your new heart empties a waist-like substance into your body that can poison your basic functions and immune system, you must drink these to kill the waist." With that, the scientists gave Angder a box full of potions with strange gray substances in them.

Angder eyed the potions, and then slumped back onto the table. "And I am guessing the only people who make those potions are Typhoon..." Angder swore.

"That is correct." With that, they gave him the potions as two troopers led him back to his cell.

*lies down in his cell and tries to rest to get his mana back up*

Angder sits in his cell, and drinks the first potion. "Word of advice over there" he gestures at Zarco "... don't lose"

Huh..?
ah, sorry about the damage I did to you..

"Its worse than that" Angder said He glanced mournfully down at the potion bottle, now empty.

I'd offer to heal you up but I cant reach you from here

"Its my heart" Angder stated "You clawed it, and now its been replaced" Angder dropped the bottle, and rolled it to Zarco "The heart is also gives off a deadly poison, that is the antidote."
Angder slumped back. "Typhoon owns the potion, if I don't drink it I die."

Oh god, I feel terrible for you! I'm so sorry..

Angder shakes his head, and goes quiet. looking at the crate next to him.

The doors to the prison open us as a new male fighter was led to his cell by six armed troopers.

Hiyate walk into his cell and sits down in silence.

*Looked over at the newcomer*
..Hey there..

Angder glances over at Hiyate, but remains quiet...

*He looks over and tries to smile*

..A bit of advice, don't lose, take it from Angder..
*pokes at the slice in his leg*

*Hiyate begin smile uncontrollably, but quickly takes a deep breath*

Angder glares at Zarconite. "The same will happen to you... or similar anyway..."
Angder turns to Hiyate "So... why are you here?"

I got off lightly compared to Angder.. but it was fairly close to say the least

"Company don't like me much, threw me down here either to get rid of me, or to make me reconsider a business offer" Angder stated. "...Oh wait, you mean more recently? heart got damaged, they replaced it, but now I need to drink these" Angder nudges the crate "Or my heart kills me."

"Oh man... I wish I could help in some way..."
*he took a deep breath*
"To be honest I'm a bit scared"

"Don't be..." Angder stated "Be terrified. this could happen to you"

"Hmm..." *Hiyate nods* "But we can't change where we are now... So we might as well face it in confidence"

Angder sighs "I guess your right..." he chuckles "don't know why I am telling you that though, should really give you all the false information I can... we will probably end up fighting after all..."

..I'm kind of glad that you didn't get me in the heart Angder..
My blood is what gives me my power and I'm not sure if they would have to replace my blood if I got a new heart..

"Well I guess you're not really the type to make friends then Angder..." Hiyate sighs, "of course you probably aren't the only one playing off others"

Angder sighs. "Your right... pain went against some kind of raptor" I point at pain. "its not just fighting each other..." Angder sighed "I guess losing my heart and any hope of ever leaving this damn place..." Angder goes quiet....

There could still be a way to modify the heart not to secrete toxins

"Yeah! There's always an upside to everything. You just have to look for it."

..I'm still looking to an upside to coming here to rescue someone who's probably dead by now

Angder moved to the corner of his cell. "The upside, my friends are alive" Angder states "That is the only reason I am even here. to keep them from being bothered by the company..."

Troopers came to the cells as they pulled Zarco and Hiyate out of their cells. "Alright, this is the last match of the night."

"This match is gonna be different, from what I heard," one of the troopers said as they took the two out of their cells, "They could throw out a pair of Riptors." The troopers then brought the two to the center of the arena as the announcer said, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last match of the night! May the best fighter win!"

With that, the bell rung and the fight began, with the crowd roaring.

Angder sat in the corner, and watched them leave...

Hiyate smiles, readying his poll and slapping it against his hand

Two doors opened as two cybernetic, feral veloviraptors charged out of them, snarling and roaring.

One of the Riptors charges at Zarco with it's teeth bared as the other leaps at Hiyate to rake him with it's claws.

*Positions his shield infront of himself and swings his axe at the riptor*

Hiyate waited just for the right time before swinging his poll up into the raptor's jaw, he ran at it at started whaling on the raptor

"Yes, it was." The bear replied, "And I doubt that you would want to upset her, now would you?"

Meanwhile Angder curls up, and tries to get some sleep...

Hiyate slammed his a poll into the first raptor's leg braking the bone. He then pushed Zacro out of way barely avoiding catching fire.
The first Riptor makes a violent snarl of rage and pain as it fell to it's side. The other Riptor ducked it's head to avoid the axe as it began biting at Zarco's force field.

*jumped back and dropped the barrier*
*hurled his shield at the riptor and began to channel energy into his next attack*

The shield hits the raptor on the nose, causing it to step back. It was distracted and dazed.

*fires a high powered beam at the riptor, using the rest of his mana pool to make the shot*

The attack hits head on and the riptor is sent flying to the wall of the arena, hitting it's head hard against it.

I hope.. that was enough.. to finish it..
*breathing heavily and looking very weak*

Runs over to Zacro, "That was awesome! But are you okay?" He said ready to support him just in case

Angder glanced over at Pain "God, do you ever get tired? you have been doing that for hours"

If I can't out punch an enemy, I can outrun them, until they tire themselves out. You better get serious about the games, if you plan on winning them. Bad heart or not, sitting on your ass doing nothing won't help you in a fight, "oh mighty Angder" *He said the last bit, sarcastically*

Angder growled at Alka, but could not help but feel he was right. Angder WAS wasting his time moping. He got to his feet and started to copy what Pain was doing.
Of course, he suspected this would also have the effect off pissing Pain off... Fine by him....

*Alka just continued doing what he was doing, in fact moving over a little to allow Angder some room* See. Noooow you're being productive. Now you're getting one step closer to not losing a match.

Angder had no trouble keeping pace with Pain. "So I can kill you guys easier now... YAY" Angder said sarcastically. "I held back against Zarco, went to disarm and knockout. that was my mistake"

You'd be surprised just how much this helps. And, personal tip from me to you, don't make mistakes you can easily not make. The faster you finish a fight, the faster you get out of the ring, the faster you get out of this hell hole. Unless...you want to get out another way...

Angder shakes his head "Not an option for me..." Angder states sadly "Even before my change of heart doing that would be death sentence for my friends..." Angder looks up at Pain, and smiles "But... that does not mean I can't help you escape, if that's what your suggesting?"

If I wanted to escape, I would've done so already. There is something surprisingly satisfying about beating the ever living @#!$ out of another person. If you want me to help you get out, I won't mind busting us out of here

Angder sighs "Sadly, I can't" Angder states "If I do, my Heart kills me, Typhoon kills my friends." Angder shakes his head again.

Pity. It's times like these I almost feel lucky that all my friends, family and loved ones are already dead.

With the last fight over, troopers led Zarco and Hiyate back to the prison. However, they then had the two line up as two other troopers opened Angder and Pain's cells. "Alright, everyone get in a line."

"Think that one back to it's cell." One of the troopers led Zarco back to his cell to rest while the rest lined up.

*Staggered back to his cell and collapsed onto his floor, sound asleep to recover mana*

*Alka dropped down from his bars, and got in line*

Angder also comes out of his cell, and gets in line

*Alka looks to Angder* If we are going to team up, follow my orders.

Angder snarls at Pain "I work better alone..."

*He glares deep into Angder's eyes, giving off a large amount of hostility* I can see how well that worked out for you before. But if you want to die an idiot, be my guest.

Hiyate stepped in line feel somewhat uncomfortable about the conversation between Pain and Angder. He tried to catch his breath and recuperate as much as he could before something else happened

*Alka then looked past and then to Hiyate* Are you going to be smart and follow my lead?

"Umm... Well so long as we you tell me to do won't lead to inevitable death... then sure" he threw back a witty smile

The troopers then led them to a simple, unsanitary cafeteria.

"Well he fainted after blasting a raptor in the face with his laser beam" sat there for a second "it was pretty awesome"

I'm not 'unfriendly'. I'm realistic. Whether he's a nice guy or not, we're going to fight him and we have to win to progress. The earlier he's out, the better.

"It sounds like it's pointless talking to each other then... Since everyone plans to kill each in the end." He begins to eat.

"I don't want to kill anyone" Angder states "We only have to defeat our opponents, no one needs to die!"

That's what they tell you...But with what I've seen, death is a mercy. Also, I do know how I can get the 4 of us out of here. It will require all of us to be at the height of our condition though.

"Okay so kick everyone's ass and if you lose try not to get to hurt... I think I got it."

That's pretty much how the arena works. But trust me, it's not easy to "kick everyone's ass" I've failed in the arena 5 times already.

"I can help you escape, but I must stay here..."
Angder pauses and thinks, he then leans forward "Stay quiet about this... but if you are planning to escape, there is something you can do for me... I have some people who I need to contact."

A trooper, after drinking a can of soda, dropped it on the floor next to a recycle can and looked at the trooper next to him, chuckling. He then turned to Pain and said, "Pick it up."

Angder sighed "I will do it" Angder got up and picked up the can, he crushed it in his paw, and looked at the trooper "I believe this is actually yours though"

Angder sighed "I will do it" Angder got up and picked up the can, he crushed it in his paw, and looked at the trooper "I believe this is actually yours though"

"Excuse me?" The trooper said in an intimidating tone, reaching for his baton.

"Well..." Angder throws the crushed can to his other hand. "I saw you drink it and drop it on the floor, which means either its your can, or your a thief" Angder moves to sit down, still holding the can.

Fulling pulling out his baton, the trooper said, growling, "Throw. It. Away."

Angder slumps down in his seat with his can "Well if you insist" He throws it over his shoulder, bouncing the can off the wall, and into a bin opposite the one the troopers indicated.

With a growl, the trooper put his baton away and walked off to get another soda.

Angder tries to stop himself smirking as the trooper leaves, but he carefully makes a note of his face. "arrogant or mad with power... actually probably both" he mumbles to the other fighters.

"Isn't corruption a beautiful thing? Actually we could probably take them" A smug look fall onto his face

"Yea... probably. but Something tells me he won't be the problem, its the ones with guns I am scared of"

"Yeah... I'm not so good at sucking up bullets..." Hiyate quieted down and slouches in his seat.

"Don't give up hope... just don't be stupid about it. memorize everything, and don't die."

Kro sat in his cell, watching the dust glide by his face. An eye wandered, looking down the hall, at the other cells.
He gradually whistled a quiet tune to himself, hoping to pass the time. He had no idea of where he was, or how he had gotten here...
Only that he was in the Arena. And that was all that mattered.

Within the shadows of the cell across from the group a pair of crimson eye's would open up; glancing at the competitors.
A masked fox with white as snow fur stood against the wall; arms folded. His attire would be in all black, looking like a ninja-of sorts. Upon his hips were a pair of long thin knives that were curved.
Remaining silent; he'd just glare at them...

Kro looked at the person talking... He stopped whistling, and shook his head.
He thought that to show himself meant weakness. And he couldn't show just how weak he was.

Kro walked to the back corner of his cell, and sunk down onto the floor. He was screwed, he thought. These fighters were trained and dangerous. Who knows what other kind of fighters lurked in their cells, waiting like he was.

Kata slowly reclosed his eye's; slowly tilting his head to the side before bring it back.
Giving a small flick of his ears and a swish of his tail; he did little as the guard took care of the other combatants.

"...lets just get this over with..." muttering to himself.

Two troopers entered the cells and said, "Alright, it's next match." The first trooper opened the cells that held Kro while the other one opened the cell of the masked fox.

Kro stood, and silently walked out of his cell. He took a quick glance down the hall and then waited for further instructions.

Kata would peer to the guard; picking himself off the wall before calmly following them to the arena in silence.

Kro continued to the arena, slightly shaking. Who was that, he thought as he walked.

Kata stepped into the arena and glanced to Kro. His expression would be hidden by his masked as he eyed him down. Slowly the shinobi would simply begin to pace in a slow circle around him.

Kro walked to the far side of the arena, trying to slow his breathing and lessen his anxious expression.

Kata would simply stop after a moment before huffing.
"Nothing personal. If you'd like; I can make it painless. Choose to fight back however and I can not promise this." lazily folding his arms as he continued to stare him down.

Angder lies there, twitching on the floor, and watches Tybalt leave.

Kro shook his head, and raised Spaz and Ret into position. These blades had been forged by a close friend, and now they were his lifeline. He decided to let his opponent take the first move.

Kata would sigh; unfolding his arms to reveal a black-like egg. "Have it your way." quickly tossing the black orb at him. Upon impact a thick smoke would began to fill the arena; Kata letting the wave of smoke envelop him.

Kro coughed, and started to step towards the arena edge.
"That will not make a good spectator spectacle, will it?"
He raised Spaz and ret into a defensive position, awaiting attack.

Kata remained silent; twitching his ears as Kro spoke out; quickly drawing a shuriken and tossing it with great force at the voice.

Angder lies there, twitching on the floor, and watches Tybalt leave.
Hiyate ran over to help Angder up "Are you okay?" He asked in disgust of what he just saw

Kro flinched as the shuriken cut into his shoulder. Luckily, it had been his right one. He held the blade in its wound, and crouched lower and looked to the direction it had came from.

Reaching behind him quickly, Kata would toss a handful of caltrops among the ground before huffing, "Wanna try talking again?" saying simply.

For a few seconds Angder continues to twitch, staring... he then blinks and begins to climb to his feet "What... what did I say... that last guy... not who I am worried about, the deer though..." Angder sighed "I will be fine" He staggered slightly before sitting back in his seat "bloody psychopath..."

Kro kept silent, He had heard the opponent, and turned to face him through the smoke. He stood his ground- there was no way he would just run at the enemy.
His shoulder bled profusely.

Kata dipped his head hearing no reaction. Dipping low, Kata quickly drew his knives before calmly making his way to his opponent; watching his step as to not step on his own caltrops. Slowly the smoke would begin to disapate; the silhouette of the ninja starting to show as he made his way closer.

Kro blinked around as the smoke began to dissipate. He held back, as the area ahead of him was almost certainly going to be some kind of trap.
Raising his hand from his shoulder, he readied himself again.

Kata began to inch closer as the thick smoke began to vanish; Kata catching a glimpse of Kro. Growling a bit; Kata quickly sheathed a knife to draw a shuriken. "Enough." quickly tossing another shuriken at him.

Kro quickly heard his opponent speak, and the whirring of a shuriken. Instinctively, he leaned to the left of the blade, and charged in the direction it came from, claw gloves pointed towards the sourse.
His shoulder ripped a bit as he did so.

Kata groaned as Kro charged; whirling his knife before tossing that towards the charging challenger. "Best watch your step. My caltrops will rip your feet to shreds lest there protected." watching the ground carefully; hoping the knife would stop him.

Kro stopped after rehearing the word caltrop, and the knife landed in the centre of his chest, embedding deep into his flesh. In reaction, he fell to the floor, faced down, breathing shallowly as the caltrops he landed on cut through him. He swore loudly as this happened.

Angder finished eating, and then glanced around. he would have said something, but after what had just happened he chose to stay quiet and wait.

Kata sighed as Kro fell, stepping towards him slowly. "I'm sorry it has to come to this." leaping slightly to dodge his own caltrops. Upon making his way to the down Kro, Kata would pull his second knife; whirling it about quickly. "Please understand. This is for my clan. My family." kneeling down ready to give the killing blow.

Angder glances over to the kitchen, but chooses to ignore the voice, he hated to admit it, but right now all he wanted to do was to return to his cell...
He swore as he realized that. This place really had broken him...

Quickly, he turned over, bringing his claw blade down on his opponent, hoping it would at least buy some time.

As Kata kneeled, his eyes would go wide as the claw blade swung across the shinobi's face; ripping his mask from his face and stumbling to the side. Drips of blood would leak from the ninja's face as he turned to glare at Kro. "Enough of this." taking another shuriken from his belt.

"You can't blame yourself, blame Typhoon. and blame the sick people behind the attack." Angder stated "And remember that at some point... we are going to find some way to hit back where it hurts." Angder spoke quietly, careful not to let the troopers hear him.

Angder glances at Alka, giving him a look that says: What the hell are you doing? Then prepares to defend himself, picking up his chair as a weapon.

Hiyate watched eagerly, awaiting a blood bath

"Hey!" A group of guards gathered around the guard that was injured, all of them holding batons. "Get the medic!" When two of the guards ran off, the other began walking towards Pain and Angder, their batons flowing with electricity. "You've got a lot of nerve to do that." One of the guards said in an intimidation tone.

Angder can smell the blood, and he can see tybalt, he snarls, and charges at him, pushing jumping on the table and over the troopers heading their way...
he tries to slam the chair down on tybalt's head.

Kata growled putting a hand to his belt; noticing he was out of supplies except his knife. Flipping around rapidly, Kata quickly made a beeline to Kro. "I will. For my clan... YOUR DEAD!" rushing in to take a diagonal slash at him.

Angder sees the taser coming, and tries to twist himself out the way, slamming sideways past Tybalts arm, but still getting a minor shock. he yelps and drops the chair, then digs his claws into Tybalt's shoulder

*Alka proceeds to take one of the guards out and steal his baton* This'll be fun

Hiyate caught Angder and processed to ran at Tybalt at full steep, trying to strike at his legs

*Out of nowhere a baton hits Tybalts rifle, sending an electric current through the metal parts.*

Angder lands on his feet, and, not having time to think what he was doing, Charges with Hiyate.

Angder grabs Tybalts arm, and bites down hard on it. digging both claws and teeth into it.

Hiyate attepted to pull himself to his feet before the sharp pain in his shin cause him to fall back down.
He searched for something to prompt himself against for support

*Alka made haste with taking down the other guards. It didn't look exactly difficult for him, as he dispatched each guard in one to two strikes*

In the CEO's office, a small robot probe came to her and said, "There is a prison riot in section 6, ma'am." With a growl, she got up from her seat and went off to deal with the situation personally.

*Alka was able to wistand the pain of the electrical shocks, allowing him an easy edge in any fight. He moved over to Hiyate and hoisted him onto his feet, using his other arm to take out any of the guards* You ok?

*The bullet hit Alka, but he remained vigilant. He is capable of wistanding bullets to the knee, as he has done so before. He moved Hiyate to saftey, handing him a pistol he stole from another guard. He then looked to Tybalt* How about you stop being a coward and fight with honour!

WHAT THE HELL IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?
The voice of the CEO echoed through the chambers as the rest of the guards went silent.
In the arena, the announcer said, "Oh uh, th-there seems to be a situation with the other contestants."

Ahhh, Mrs CEO. What a pleasure it is to meet you. I was simply bored and decided I wanted a little bit of practise before my next fight. You're guards are much worse trained than I expected.

The CEO was a seven foot, cybernetic velociraptor who wore a nave blue trench coat and black pants. Her arms, feet, and entire tail were robotic and the back of her head had four metal spikes. She had yellow scales with black stripes and blue, glowing eyes. She stared at both the guards and the prisoners coldly and arrogantly, folding her arms.

"And yet you lack discipline." She then said coldly, "As well as the knowledge of the severity of the situation you've gotten yourself into." She then turned to Tybalt and said, "My command is that you get these fools back to their cells before I call in the robots."

Seeing him on the ground, the CEO walked casually over to him and picked him up like a piece of trash. "Such a waist indeed." She then said as she flung him against the wall with little to no effort, "You could have aided in the advancement of our great future, but now you thrive with these lesser beings."

Kro lunged forward, snarling, his teeth bared in a sadistic grin. Aiming for his opponents chest, he threw his good arm forward, his claw blade flashing in the light as he did so.

Glancing forward at the last second; the ninja grunted as he attempted to block the blade. As the blade struck; Kata's arms would produce massive wounds as he fell among the ground. Panting out in pain; Kata grunted. "Got... to... get up." huffing.

The guard unlocked the cell to let him in. "My work here is done." The CEO said as she began to walk away, "Also, after the tournament I would like to speak with that ninja." With that, troopers made their way to the arena to wait for the battle to end.

"Run then."
His right arm was covered in blood, and barely still attached to his body. The only thing keeping him going was adrenaline. And even that would soon run out.

Huffing, Kata slowly forced himself to a foot; his other foot ripped up by the caltrop. Glaring to Kro; Kata spun the knife once. "I'm... not going anywhere." panting as the ninja grip lightly tightened around his last knife; his other arm too damaged to move. "You wish to kill me?" taking a moment before growling out, "THEN COME ON!"

*Alka lowered each person carefully, deciding he wants to keep Hiyate in his cell with Angder and Zarc* So...You guys preformed pretty well out there, I must say. Fighting is a bit sloppy and filled with first moves, but we can change that.

Before I came here, I was just simply killing, stealing and scavenging. I was randomly picked up by Typhon and taken to spend the next 4 years tortured into what they called "The Mega Soldier". I'm called 'Pain' because I'm extremely resistant to all types of it. But, since it was under a project they conducted, they basically consider me their property.
*Alka then looked to Zarc* Sorry sleeping beauty, but don't get pissed at us because you ran out of mana.

just to give you the heads up, there are two other fighters here, one looked to be quite shy and nervous, the other kept his cool and seemed to be almost ninja like.

Even if I die; I 'will' be there to protect them!" pausing as he yelled out, "DO YOU HEAR ME?! IF IT"S MY FATE TO DIE IN YOUR SILLY GAME... THEN... Then..." pausing, "...so be it. I will still protect them..." and with that; Kata tossed his last knife; aimed towards Kro's throat.

Thanks Zarc. If you don't know why we all look like we've been in a fight, we've been in a fight. I killed a guard, which then turned into those to trying to take down the main guard, while I dispatched of many, many smaller ones. I almost wanted to charge the big one, but I waited for his first move. Which was unfortunately a gun shot to my knee, the bloody coward. At least the other ones fought me with pride.

As the probes healed Kata, the guard led him to the very top of the Typhon Tower before entering the CEO's office. "You put up quite a show out there." She said with a grin.
Kro's body was taken to an infirmary as scientists surrounded it, with tools and cybernetics parts and organs.

As long as you can disable robotics and anything electrical, you'll do great. As for killing the CEO, I'm planning to shut down Typhon once and for all. They have a nuclear bomb underneath the arena. Once you guys are out, I'm going to go and set it off. The blast won't be big enough to take you guys out.

"With the performance you demonstrated in The Arena, you were a specimen that we just couldn't lose, having demon genes in you." The scientists grinned, "We just had to replace some of your organs with cybernetic ones."

"That thing inside me is never getting out of its cage. And cybernetic organs? How screwed up did I get?"

"You were in very bad shape." The scientists said, "Also because your organ secrete a poisonous waist into your immune system, you will have to drink special potions." On a nearby table was a small flask full of Kro's blood.

"Great, so I'm even weaker now. Let me guess, you plan to throw me back into that damn arena?"
He stared at the flask, wondering what they planned to do with it.

Just stay brave for me, okay honey? Dad needs to... 'work'... a bit and then we can go home, alright?"> brushing her hair back a little; unable to keep from looking a bit worried.

Angder blinks "Wait? really?!" Angder facepaws "I thought they had more imagination than that..." Angder gets up, goes to his crate, and passes a bottle to Kro "Look familiar?" Angder sighs "I had my heart torn out and replaced, same thing happened to me."

"Yeah, that stuff. And they never told me what I got replaced, but a heart? Thats kinda... Well, impressive really."
Kro leaned, seeing if there was any other cells occupied, except for the blue and grey folf opposite.

Katie would obviously look at bit scared as her father was pulled away; Kata struggling light before drooping his head as the guards pulled him away. Upon Katie being out of sight, Kata would hide his eye's behind his bangs as he growled, <"...I'm going to stain this place in your blood... all of you..."> turning to get a finally glimps of the CEO, <"...and then your next..."> speaking in his language as he was guided back to his cell.

In the hallway of the prison, two troopers sat on chairs as they watched a hovering screen project the news, like a TV. On the screen, it was showing huge, Typhon weapons and robots destroying a city as a voice said, "At this very moment, Typhon Forces are liberation this city from it's corrupt and unjust dictator." Although the speaker was speaking of justice and liberation, the screen showed the death and destruction the mega-corporation was responsible of.

The shield hits Hiyate and he staggers backwards. He grinned "I'm ready to start when you are" he mocked and began to laugh, his psychopathic tendencies began to surface

*Fires two medium strength energy bolts at Hiyate and starts charging towards him*

He dodged the bolts, but when he regained balance he noticed Zarco was right on top of him. He attempted to throw a punch at his head

*Sidesteps the punch and swings his axe at Hiyate's polearm*

The axe struck deep breaking his arm, Hiyate let out a yell of pain dropping the poll. He spun around to kick Zarco's arm taking the axe with him

*Drops his axe and trips up, falling to the floor*

he rushed in down low grabbing pole with a his other hand. He raised it up and swung it downwards at Zarco

*Rolled over to dodge the attack*
*Aimed his paws up at Hiyate and fired an energy pulse (Pushing) to try to give himself some time*

The pulse threw Hiyate into the air and he landed on his broken arm. He stumble to his feet and looked at Zarco. He breaths heavily

*Starts running towards Hiyate*

Kata sat upon his knees within his cell; glancing to the wristband upon in annoyance. Closing his eyes to think briefly, Kata huffed getting up to step by the bars of the cell; testing to see if he could get a arm through. If successful; Kata would look around before speaking out. "Guard! I require food! I haven't eaten since I got here!" hoping to catch someone's attention.

Angder walks to the edge of the cell, and looks across at Kata "... when did you get here?"

"Ah calm your horses, dinner time is just after this match." the troopers said.
When the match ended, both Hiyate and Zarco were brought to the infirmary by troopers to rest.

Kata perked his ears from Angders voice; peering to him briefly before huffing; returning his attention to the trooper. Scoffing; Kata simply stepped to rest upon the walls; eyes sharp as if deep in thought.

"So... your the one who killed kro then right? whats your story?"

Kro got up and walked to the bars beside angder.
"Good fight."

Kata would keep his gaze forward; flicking his ears to Angder and lightly swishing his tail about. "Kro was his name?" taking a long pause as he closed his eyes, "Your a prisoner as well. Meaning sooner or later I must kill you next." saying sternly.

"I doubt it..." Angder said, amused "I think Kro is going to be the one to fight me next, and I think your against pain. so I will never get the chance."

The cells then open as the prisoners are led to the cafeteria.

Angder moved so he was next to Kata, "Seriously, why are you here? we all have our reasons... most of us like to share ours" Angder smiles sympathetically "Most of us are forced to be here, may as well be open about it"

Kata perk his head, "Kro will be... 'next'? He's still alive?" thinking, "Let me guess. The CEO and her lackies. I take it it wasn't out of the 'goodness of there pitch black heart'." picking himself off the wall to look to Angder, "Pain? Who is he?" glaring. Kata would then blink as the cell opens. "Huh..." looked as Angder moved closer; lightly growling as the shinobi went to grab his arm to twist it into a lock. "Listen and listen closely. I'm not your friend. I'm not your ally. I'm a guy. Your a guy. I'm going to kill you and the other, rescue my daughter and save my clan. And right now, killing you early on will make it easier to do so... convince me otherwise."

Angder yelps as his arm is grabbed. "I... I have people being threatened as well... we are both in the same boat here..."

Kata would hold the lock; studying Angder for a moment. "The difference is that I'm not afraid to do whats needed to protect my daughter and family. If we fight... I'm not going to die." huffing before tossing him away a bit. "I'm not pulling my punches."

"Oh... so letting Typhon win is the solution then?" Angder states simply "Look, you have your daughter, I have my gang, if I mess up and piss off the CEO enough, attack drones go out to kill my friends. I can't let that happen. but I will be DAMNED if I am not going to do what I can to resist the sick **** in charge here"
Angder glances at Tybalt, grins, and licks his lips before disappearing round the corner.

In the kitchen, a chubby, four foot, indigo gerbil was cooking raman, as usual. The gerbil had an almost permanent smile on his face. He also has white fluffy hair and buck teeth, with spiral-designs on his cheek and also seems to have eyes that extend off of his face but with his skin and eyelids come out also. He wears a black shirt unbuttoned, revealing his chest, a yellow scarf, black pants with an orange belt, and roller skates. The back of his jacket has the Typhon symbol on it
"Paya-Paya-Payahaha!" The gerbil whaled gleefully like a goofball, "Raman soup is coming up! So eat now or starve!"

"Err, thanks" Angder goes to grab his soup

"Hey Tybalt!" The gerbil said loudly and obnoxiously, "You wanna try some of my raman?"

Tybalt? so thats his name.. Angder sits down to have his soup.

"Oh yeah, but what 'bout my raman?" The gerbil said with a goofy grin.

The gerbil boasted with a wide, smiling mouth and said, "My raman is the best in the world!"

Angder picks up the bowl, and pours the soup down his throat. he then passes the now empty bowl to Tybalt. "Here ya go!"

Angder picks the bowl up, and lifts it a little, and then drops it on the floor, so it lands upside-down "oops..."

Angder glances down at the taser. "Huh... your right... I did miss something" he then bites down hard into Tybalts already injured arm.

Angder snarled. "No way in hell"

"Payahahaha! I can take the wolf if you want!" The gerbil laughed obnoxiously, roller skating his way to the two.

*Pain walked over to the two* You've done enough Tybalt. Don't think I can't/won't intervene.

Angder is now grinning like a madman. "I thought you wanted to share? maybe that's yours over there?" Angder points at the spit. "go on, I was kind enough to give you some after all..."

*Alka looks to the girbil* I've yet to have some soup chef. Can you put some in a bowl for me?

"Look slave, lick it and I promise I'll get our Gerbil friend to give you a good treat as a reward, seems fair, right dog?" Tybalt says as he pulls his taser out of his belt with his other hand and presses it under Angder's chin

Hiyate jolted up as he awoke, sweat dripping from his fore head and breathing quite heavily. He quickly searched his body for any signs of something being replaced before finally checking the arm Zarco had broken in during their fight.

Kata huffed as he quickly began to train within his cell. Palm strikes, sweeps, swift foot movements.
"Don't worry Katie... I'll be there shortly." pausing in his training as he came up to his cell bars. "Hey! I require a new set of weapons for he next fight guards! Your boss whats me to show you what I can do? Then provide me with what I need." huffing.

There was a cybernetic armor pad on the elbow of his broken arm.

Kata would huff as the guards went off; resting a arm against the cell before taking note to the arm pad. "People today and there machines." turning to walk around the cell. "I should focus on defeating this 'Pain' if what that man said was true." folding his arms. "I'll make quick work of him..." looking to the wristband, "...hopefully quick enough to not show them too much." sighing before kneeling, "...Sadie... everyone... I promise I will protect you." closing his eye's.

*Alka grunted out the words* Burned Tybalts face, and possibly broke his arm. Training now for fight against Kata.

"You were listening when I was talking to Kro then..." Angder sniggers "I remember that guys face, totally worth getting tasered" Angder crawls over to his crate, and drinks one of the bottles. "Well, I need to prepare to fight Kro I guess!"

Kata huffed as he got back to his feet looking over to Pain. <"If that's him then he'll definitely put up a fight."> speaking in his foreign language as he walked to examine him closer. <"I wonder if he has a trick or two up his sleeves?" tilting his head before placing a hand upon his cell. "Hey... Your Pain, are you not?".

Kata would dip his head. "I take it I can't convince you to accept a painless death if you are." shaking his head, "Listen..." showing off the wristband, "... You see this? This place is forcing me to give them data on my... 'skills'. I can't risk them knowing too much about my abilities and from how I see it, neither should you." huffing.

Kata lightly growled to Pain, "I can't risk losing!" looking to Angder and closing his eyes; a small worried look overtaking the ninja, "...they... have my daughter." falling silent before turning his back, "I have to do what they say lest they..." trailing off before peering back to Pain, "So be it. "Oh... oh MY GOD SON OF A B~" Angder punches the bars of the cell "~ITCH" Angder clenched both paws into fists, and stepped back, fuming. "Thank you Kata... that was very... informative"

Kata would simply fall silent as he returned to the center of the room; getting back to his training. <"I should have known it wasn't going to be that easy. I'm getting desperate."> growling a bit as he began to pick up the pace out of frustration. Kata would pause mid punch to briefly gaze to Angder, "That's... none of your concern... I will overcome any challenge that dares to stop me. Even your friend there." returning back to training.

Two troopers came to Kata's cell with shurikens, throwing knives, smoke bombs, and a katana in it's sheath. "Here you go. "The troopers said, "Next match starts soon."

Kata would blink before huffing, "If there was any doubt of me going easy on you; it is now gone 'student of Hoyitsu'. I hate to give this place any data on myself..." folding his arms, "...but I'm taking you out with all I got once we enter that ring." swiftfully taking the weapons and placing it upon his person.

*Alka brought a weapon he had hidden in his cell. A long, bamboo pole, about his height. It had been dipped in metal at both tips, which has cooled and dried off. He swung it and played around with it before taking a stance* No mercy.

Kata would glare at Pain before using his off hand to reveal a black egg. Quickly tossing it towards his opponent and upon impact the black would explode a thick cloud of smoke throughout the arena.
"If I do what I did last match; they won't learn anything." thinking quickly to himself.

*Alka's ears perk up. His increased listening is able to pick up on the faintest of noises. Including anything moving through the air* I better get this over with. *He closes his eyes to concentrate for a second*

"Not talking, huh? I give it he's not as flawed as Kro. Still..." quickly unsheathing a shuriken and tossing it towards the last place he saw Pain.
"I wish them damn guards gave me my caltrops..."

*The shuriken came flying back at Kata, faster than he threw it. Alka had finished concentrating and open his eyes, muttering* Sacred Technique: Mach 1 *He flew out of the smoke at the speed of sound, just suddenly appearing out of the smoke*

Kata's eyes went wide as the shuriken quickly sliced the shinobi shoulder; Kata grunting, "Ho-How?!" blinking as Pain suddenly appeared before him. "Da-Damn it!" quickly attempt to leap back to get some space; placing a hand upon his katana yet again. "This is trouble." muttering.

*Alka charged at Kata, still at the speed of sound* 4 and 1/2 minutes *He begins barraging Kata with his pole, mostly going for pressure points and his shoulder wound*

Quickly unsheathing his blade; Kata grunted as the first hit connected quickly flailing the katana about him in attempts to parry some of the blow before his wounded arm was struck. "He's... Too fast..." coughing before glaring at him, "...I... have no choice..."

Spork watched from the bleachers. Since the CEO allowed him to fight in the Arena, the goofy looking gerbil was waiting for the right moment to jump in.

Kata exhaled as he was given a chance to breath. "Alright... Enough of this." taking a finger as the shinobi began to trace the air. "NIN, PYOH, TOH, SHA, KAI, JIN, RESTU, ZAI, ZEN!" yelling out incantations.

*Alka opens his eyes again* Mach 2 *He charges and begins barraging Kata again, this time 2 times as fast*

Kro sat at the back of the cell, looking at the ceiling, while whistling to himself.

Kata huffed as a small whirlwind spun around his feet. "Kitsune Ninpo: Zephyr Stream!" sweeping his hand horizontally as the whirlwind quickly expanding; creating a brief wall that would toss anything that got too close to Kata; dissipating the smoke and hopefully pushing Pain back.
"...I... shouldn't be... using Ninpo... so early on..." huffing out

The vision of Kata would go blurry as he simply turned a head to try and keep up. "It's... no use." clenching a fist, "I... I Can't Die Here!" struggling to get to his feet slowly.

All of a sudden, three razor sharp strands of raman come flying directly at Pain, followed by an obnoxious laugh. "PAYA PAYA PAYA!!!"

*Alka grabs each one and throws one into each of Kata's hands, nailing them to the ground, and one back at the Chef*

My clan... THERE GOOD AS DEAD!" tears beginning to build up within his eyes, "...I... can't stop fighting... I gotta..." grunting as a jolt of pain shot through his hands. Kata was pinned; losing blood fast...

Spork jumps down from the bleachers with a wheel barrel full of large sacks of flour. "Hate to interrupt in your fight, but now I'll gonna be your opponent! Paya Paya!"

"Even if you kill the ninja, Typhon can just revive him!" Spork laughed, "In fact, I recall that Typhon had to revive you when they first found you in the worthless waist land you called home!"

*Alka's fist clenched as he muttered out* Mach 3 *He then flew at the speed of sound at Spork and began pumping him 3 times as fast as the speed of sound*

Remarkably, Spork was able to swiftly dodge all of Pain's attacks as he roller skated to Pain's side at the speed of sound to deliver a powerful wind kick.

Kata grunted as the damage to his body began to cause him to blackout.
"Ka-Katie... I'm... sorry..." tears rolling down his cheek before finally passing out.

Troopers quickly brought Kata back to the infirmary while the fight between Pain and Spork began.

((Can I just state, that this is a chubby guy travelling at the speed of sound. While that is still slower than the speed Alka is going at, that's a remarkable feat for someone slightly over weight))

When Pain finally flung him into the air, Spork took advantage of this by pulling two kitchen knives from his coat. Then, by eating a bag full of flour, he began shooting noodles from his nose. As he shot them, he furiously sliced them to create an overwhelming rain of razor sharp noodles.

*Alka dodged each one before flying through the air and knocking Spork backdown. Upon impact Spork broke the arena floor, creating an extremely large crack in it

Despite being hit with tremendous force, Spork was far from out as he then, with incredible speed, latched onto Pain's waist and did a massive suplex, slamming him against the same spot Spork landed. The force of the suplex was great enough the crack the floor even further. He shouted, "PAYA PAYA!" As he did this.

*Alka simply got up, not having broken any bones* Mach...4... *He then began launching increadibly powerful ripples through the air at Spork. They where too fast to dodge, at 10 came at him ever millisecond*

Spork is hit by the ripples of air and is sent back. However, he only suffers from bruises as he then creates a long spear made of noodles and flung it at Pain at great speeds. "You can hit me all you like, but your no match for my ultra secret techniques!"

*Alka then launched a ripple at the spear sending it back to Spork* with power like yours, I'd be insulted to only be the chef of the prisoners. You're so great and mighty, you should try to take over Typhon

Spork catches the spear with his mouth and eats it, "Ah, but why would I when I am loyal to our great CEO, Zanthus Rex!?" With that, the gerbil created friction on his skates, lighting them on fire, and dashed towards Pain at great speeds to kick him in the chest.

In the CEO's office, she was debating whether or not it was a good idea to allow Spork in the Arena. "That moron." She said as she looked at the battle through a monitor, "Although he supports my goals and ambitions, Spork was a waist of time and money since the day he joined my company. Even when we equipped him with cybernetic bones and downloaded fifteen different fighting styles into his brain, he still waists his time with what he calls, "Raman Kenpo". Oh well, it seems that his cybernetics are doing just fine against his fight again Pain, one of our most successful products. If Spork dies today, it will be a great relief."
The scientists came to Hiyate and Zarco and said with smiles, "Your awake!"

On Zarco's broken arm was a cybernetic elbow plate with the Typhon logo on it. One Hiyate however, he had a small metal plate on the back of his head.

Without a word, troopers began to bring Zarco and Hiyate back to their cells. However, while they were going back to the prison they passed two janitors trying to wipe off a strange, orange symbol off of a wall.

"I need to be eliminated from the arena, preferably in a slightly humiliating way, from there... well..." Angder grinned "I think I can access the labs... I had the plan for a while... but now the last thing holding me back is gone, my friends are either safe or dead, Typhon was bluffing. the only hold they have over me, is my bloody heart..."

Angder glanced at the other cells "it might be worth hiding that from the others... to make sure everyone else buys it..."

"...I'm... alive..." taking a second to think. Slowly as to not draw too much attention to himself, Kata slowly tried to move his wrist and legs to check to see if he was binded. "...I... need to get out of here..."

One the troopers looked over at Kata and said, "I think he's awake!" The troopers then came to Kata at a strangely relieved pace. "You okay bud?" The tallest of them asked.

The troopers took their helmets off to reveal their true faces to Kata. The first was a green female cat with black eyes and purple, pixelated pupils. The second person was tall, brown male wolf with blue, highlander markings on him. The last person was a tan lizard with red feathers and orange eyes. "Don't worry." the green cat said with a smirk, "We're the good guys. We're here to bust you and your friends."

Angder gestures at his stomach, and neck, showing the scorch marks "Also how do I know your not just going to tell the CEO EXACTLY what we are planning the second I let you in on our little plan?" Here," The tan lizard then showed a tattoo on his arm that resembled a claymore with wings on it. "The name's Sky. These are some of my comrades, Pixel and Tusk." Pixel gave a cheerful wink as Tusk remained silent. "So you gotta daughter?" The green cat then asked, "We could help bust her out of you want."

*Despite himself, Alka had a feeling he knew where this match was headed. In his defeat. He decided to use his most powerful technique, capable of breaking through steel. It would cost him his life, although he just assumed they would bring him back. Alka muttered out* Mach......5.....*He then sent a punch in Sporks direction, his entire arm exploding into a bloody mess. The punch itself caused an explosion where it ended, sending killer waves directly at Spork at Mach 7 speeds.*

Just before Spork could react, the attack hit him right in his gut, creating a hole though him. However, wires and metal could be seen within the gerbil as he collapsed on the grown, twitching a sparking. Spork was a cyborg all along.

In the wing Pain entered, there were a number of small offices and meeting rooms, along with holographic writing boards with notes scribbled all over them. There were also a number of doors that were greatly separated from one another that had the labels of different projects on them.

Then Nitro, who should have placed explosive devises all over the facility, will detonate them after we've taken all the data and rescued all the hostages. Should be easy as cake. That is, unless the CEO is here, which I doubt."

Eventually, the four came to a large computer center, with Typhon staff working. Pixel, taking her glove off the touch the screen of a nearby computer and began absorbing data from it cautiously.

Kata simply gazed around before feeling around under his new clothes at his belt. "Knives, Shurikens, Smokebombs... gahh, lost the katana..." thinking before peering around the room in search of a new weapon, "...I'm rather defenseless. I'm going to search around a bit for a new weapon..."

The alarms went off as Typhon soldiers began to love into the room the four were in. "Looks like we've got company." Sky said with a grin. With that, Sky, Pixel, and Tusk tore off their suits. Sky wore brown shorts along with red goggles and a long red scarf. Pixel wore a purple tank top along with purple tight jeans. Tusk appears as a barbarian tribal warrior, dressed only in fur leather boots, a belt with a skull for a buckle, a fur-lined loincloth around his waist and had blue tattoos covering his body. "Hey Kata, help us fight the troops off while Pixel hacks into their mainframe."

Gritting his teeth; Kata peered back to notice the oncoming guards. "Great." quickly tearing off the suit to reveal his usual shinobi-like attire. "Lets take these guys out quickly." drawing a pair of shurikens before tossing them towards the necks of the oncoming guards.

Kro's eyes darted open, peering around the cell. There seemed to be an... alarm, ringing a little ways away. He got to his feet, and circled the edges of the cell, waiting to see what would happen.

Sky was delivering a fury of powerful kicks to income guards as Tusk slashed at them with a large claymore. Pixel was absorbing as much data as she could as the fight began.

"What's happening?" Hiyate asked in confusion running up to the bars of his cell

The facility shook as a bomb hit it from the outside, causing the cells to open up. Troopers rushed down the hallways to deal with the threat.

Thinking quickly; Kata rushed over to quickly grab at them. Picking them up; Kata huffed as he pulled them apart to realize they were connected via electricity. "...it's like a kasurigama..." swinging it around a bit before peering back at the corner as the guards stepped forth. With a skillful swing; the electrical wire would extend to strike the guard with the bladed end of the kama; Kata quickly pulling it back to gaze at it yet again. "...and nunchucks combined. A fitting weapon..." getting it a quick spin before placing it upon his belt; the weapon latching to it tightly. "Huh... won't lose this so easily...".

Angder Moved through the corridors, and then turned to look up a flight of stairs. "Kro... I will be a minute..." Angder dashes up the stairs, into the office portion of the arena.

Kro watched the corridor, in case any guards came down.

Angder headed down the corridor at the top of the stairs, he was trying to work out where they broadcasted the Arena from. he needed to send a message...

The broadcasting room was being guarded by three troopers as the announcer was cowering under a table.

Angder peered through the door, he then passed to the other side, and entered one of the offices. checking the desk, he found a small laser revolver. smiling, he went back to the room "Not as good as mine..." he mumbles, "Ok... lets do this" he jumps into the room shoots the three troopers before they can react. three shots, three troopers.

With the three troopers dead, the husky tried to flee the room, squealing like a girl.

Angder slams the door "Your not going anywhere" He points his gun at the husky

"W-what do you want with me!?" The husky whimpered, "This whole place is being attacked!"

"I want to send a message to some friends... and a message to Typhon" Angder grinned a twisted smile "Show me how this stuff works..."

"Well you just push this button here and speak into the mic." The husky pushed a button with caused a small, hovering microphone to pop out.

"No I mean how do I redirect the signal? I don't want to... actually is this live television?"

"N-no, jut to the arena." The husky said, "But you can redirect the signal to anyone by pressing this." He then pointed at a screen with buttons on it.

Angder moved over to the panel "Ok... not done this in a long time..." He pressed some buttons, and pulled a lever. "Ok... I think I am set." He lowered the gun "If you tell anyone I am here I will find you and blow your brains out. GOT THAT?" He glared at the husky, and then smiled "Other than that, feel free to leave! I don't need you anymore!"

With that, the husky fled out of the room to escape the facility.

Angder walked to the Microphone "yind evna Angder Erinda err... Arena" He stated simply. He then walked back to the buttons, pressed a few more, and went back to talk on the microphone a second time. "Typhon? this is Angder. I am currently escaping your facility... know that what you have done to me means war! I will hunt you down if I have to. I am a demon hunter. from now on, you are my target" He shot the microphone, shot the panel with the buttons, and then threw the gun away "Stupid piece of junk" He then walked back to Kro. "All done"

Kro checked the hallway.

The troopers were too busy rushing to the front line to pay attention to Kro and Angder.

Angder suddenly swore He dashes back to the cells and comes back with the crate of potions "We will need these..." He watches the troopers "OK... lets sneak through to freedom"

*Re-awakened after fully recharging his mana and looked around*

*Alka passes by Zarco, stopping as he notices* We're having a jailbreak. And I'm pretty sure you don't need that. *He pulls out a sharpened knife and turns on Mach 2, cutting away at it*

Kata huffed as he turned the corner to regroup with the rebel team, "You got the things you were looking for, yes? Then lets hurry and get out of here. I want to see this place burned."

"Right, let's move out!" With that, Sky, Tusk, and Pixel began dashing to the main exit of the facility, fighting off guards along the way.

*Alka ran for the main exit, the Kata's daughter in his arms, still unconscious* Ok...Just a little longer and you will be out of this hell hole. Just stay unconscious for now, so you won't have to see me punch any guards to the ground *As he says this a group of guards approach him* I had to open my big mouth...

Kata would quickly slash at a pair of guards with the techno kamas before making it through the exit; peering around quickly, "Where to now?" looking back towards the corridor. "...sooner we get out of here, sooner I can track door Katie and kill the CEO... if these explosions don't kill her first." huffing

"Let's just head outa this place and let the reinforces to the dirty work!" Pixel chuckles as she shot lasers at guards, "Besides, the CEO could have went off to the Pinnacle by now."

Racing off through the corridors; Kata followed the group before noticing a armor truck with Tybalt upon the wheel. Glaring, Kata quickly raced towards him. "DIE, pawn of the CEO!" linking the kama's with the electrical wire.

Outside the facility, rebels and Typhon forces were clashing with heavy artillery, robots, and gunfire. In the broadcasting room where Angder was, a message was trying to get through...

*After taking a serious beating trying to protect Kata's daughter, Alka finally made it to the main exit.* It's been a while since I've seen the outside world. Wonder how much worse things have gotten... *He decided it would be best to keep Katie for now. Until he found Kata.*

Kata huffed as he threw the kama's up in attempt to block the oncoming tazer; growling out, "Where is Katie?! WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?! ANWSER ME!"

*Alka heard Kata yelling for Katie, and gave an annoyed look as he slumped his shoulder looking back into the facility* God F-....There's a kid here...I can't swear. Ugh.... *He sighed as he charged back into the chaos and headed towards Kata's voice*

Sky looked back to see that Kata wasn't with them and said, "Where did the ninja go!?"
Since the three rebels were extremely close to the exit, they could see the chaos that was happening outside the facility as Typhon Forces bombarded their allies with robots and explosions. "Damnit! I gotta go back!" With that, Sky ran back into the facility, taking flight through the hallways.
In the CEO's office, she stood facing her monitor, observing the chaos taking place. "This is a shame." She said with a growl, "It seems that creating the perfect future. Oh well, we have plenty of facilities as of now." The velociraptor then pulled a device from her desk drawer, with transformed into a portal that led to the Pinnacle. "The Mistress must know of this."

*Powers up and fires a high powered beam at the wall*

*Alka huffed, as he stampeded through a bunch of guards. Kata was coming into view but he was still quite the distance away. Alka's voice bellowed towards the two* KATA!!! I HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER!!

Kata growled out more; forcing himself to raise the kama above his head as the jolts of the tazer rushed through him;attempting to swing, "LIAR! ALL OF YOU!" pausing as the voice of Alka made him slowly turn to look; dropping the kama's in awe at his daughter, "Ka.. Katie..."

*Alka continued running towards Kata, raising Katie in the air with his two arms. He was bleeding profusely, due to multiple bullet wounds, but Katie did not have a scratch on her. She was still unconscious*

Kata panted out as the effects of the tazer surged through him; slowly looking toward his passed out daughter. "Katie..." closing his eye's before slowly looking to Alka, "...thank you." watching as Alka went to stay behind before huffing, "Don't. I wish for my daughter to meet the man who saved her. Despite our clans differences; I honor you with that moment for what you've done." turning to Tybalt, "...I... apologize..." huffing before taking his daughter to take a seat within the vehicle; resting back a bit with her in his arms. "Your... safe now, Katie." closing his eyes.

*After Alka noticed they were a decent distance away, he began channeling his energy* Mach.... *He brought his arms close to his chest and leant forward crouching (Kind like he's turning into a super saiyan)* 6..... *He spread his entire body as far as he can, streaching himself as much as possible. At that instant his entire body exploded and liquified into a mass of blood, and he sent waves of particles away from him at mach 10 speeds, creating a vacuum around his body for an instant. The particles broke at the internal structure of the building, causing that part to collapse. The vacuum allowed for a domino effect to happen, and the entire building collapsed inwards, turning into a mass of rubble and dust....But....Alka was no more....And he was damaged beyond repair...both by Typhon...and magic....*

The rebels cheered as they watched Typhon Forces retreat from seeing their facility crumble to the ground. Sky, Tusk and Pixel watched with the other rebels, greatly relieved with their victory. However, Sky was unsure whether or not the prisoners had survived the destruction, and was left slightly troubled.
In the truck the gang was in, a message was trying to get through.

"Yes, It's me!" Today said in a greatly distressed tone, "Look, some really bad things happened while you were gone!"

"While you were gone, Typhon troopers came into our town with their large trucks and robots and started taking people away! The team tried to fight them back, but the trooper took them in too.... they then..." Tears begin to form in Toby's eyes as he started to sniffle, "They... they burned the whole town down." Toby then began to cry into the speaker.

As the gang drove off to rescue Angder's friend, the CEO was dealing with other things at the Pinnacle.
"I have come to you with upsetting news," She said, kneeling down. The velociraptor was in some kind of strange, dimensional pocket and was on a small platform made of stone. The very cosmos surrounded her, with stars, galaxies, nebulas, and the void of space stretched across the farthest reaches of the strange dimension the CEO was in. "One of our facilities was attacked by rebel forces, and a number of projects we were working on were destroyed. Because of this, I feel that it is necessary that we commence with your plans."
After a long silence, a deep, echoey voice said to the CEO, Oh no.... Not... Just....Yet...
