Title: I'm Sigah, a socially awkward tiger AMA!
Post by: Sigah on April 04, 2015, 05:46:39 AM
Well, I have decided to keep this new trend going, because I like to fit in, and im bored / can't sleep. So go for it, ask me questions. The forum rules are your only limiting factor.

Hi Sigah!

Is this your first fursona?

Yes, Sigah the tiger is my first and primary fursona. I have a second one I rarely use anymore, because I no longer do rp's. He was/is a brown pitbull named Mikkel.

Double question:

What sort of comedy do you like?

How awesome is this artist?

My favorite type of comedy is Stand up. I have always enjoyed the work of Gabrielle Iglesias, Jeff Dunham, and Aziz Ansari.

That particular image done by that totaly random artist is pretty awsome. All the other art in that artists gallery is great to, im kinda jelly of their skills.

Ooooh!  Do you like Parks and Rec?

And thanks *blush*
There are only so many opportunities to show off my collection of white tigers XD

I keep seeing it on Netflix, but I have never took the time to watch it. Am I missing out?

Your white tiger collection is awsome. White tiger = best tiger!

Totally missing out!

Aziz' character is funny, but they all good

I adore Nick Offerman's character

Hmmm... when you chose a white fursona did you ever consider how hard they are to colour? XD

I did not consider that. I have had one artist who gives me commission discounts since my character is mostly white, and I have another one that is annoyed by the white x3

I picked a white tiger, because it was the first animal to pop into my head that I felt somewhat portraits myself.

Mikkel was born out of my imagination for what I want to become rather than who I am.

Where does the name Mikkel come from?

Thae name was chosen after MMA fighter Mikkel "The Viking Warrior" Kessler. He won 46 of his 57 fights. 35 by way of knockout. Mikkel being the character whom I hope to be is nammed after him because he is fit, strong both mentaly and physically, and all around a cool dood.

What consoles do you have, Sigah

Currently, I jist have my ps4 and my sega Genesis 16bit. I had to sell off most of my consoles to pay bills.

About a month ago, I had a Sega Master Sysyem, Atari jaguar, nes, snes, n64, gamecube, ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, xbox, modded xbox that had emulators for almost every "old console", and a mw3 edition 360.

Very aware.  :'(

I bought if from a well established secondhand game store. Full working condition for $75. Told them afterwords how rare and expensive they are.

I sold it to a good friend under the condition that I will buy it back from him for doubke what he paid me, as soon as I can.

Take out my lip rings so I look "professional", and finally get a new job. Seriously though, piercings made job hunting extremely hard. I have a very strong work history, and even stronger skills, plus management training/experience, and I still cant find a new job.

Well, I have never had a problem in finding a job before I got facial piercings. However, there are other options that keep me out of a boring "suit and tie desk job"

In short, yes. However, I will never turn back from the pierced life. I love it.

My main reason is that it was somethimg I had always wanted to do for as long as I can remember.

The second reason is because I enjoy helping and to get certified and full time employment in the shop she worked at, a friend had to do "x" amount of piercings in "x" amount of time. I was almost her last three piercings before she became certified to do it without someone who was certified taking half the money for "teaching" her. I am now a canvase of her art work in the body modification field. It woukd be rude to basically be throwing away her artwork.

Thirdly, and most strange, I enjoyed the pain of it then the rush of adrenaline afterwords. I am a masochistic of sorts and with each run through of the needle it was very satisfyimg both menatally and physically.

Keep them questions coming man. You are asking great ones.

Tattoos for the masochistic reasons aforementioned. That was yet another great experience.  Though I guess that could be lumped in with "body modifications".

Other than that, I keep pet spiders.... I have a Rose hair tarantula,  who is very un-originally named Rosey.

I also used to feed a spider that lived in the corner of our laundry room till my roommate sqashed it. His name was Bernard.  The running joke with him was that we found change at random times while he was living in that corner, so my roomate said "As long as he keeps paying rent, he can stay".

Nope, not at all.

Funny enough though, I used to be absolutely terrified of spiders. A buddy of mine and myself went to a local pet store to buy some goldfish for his snake. We happened to see one of the associates free handling a tarantula.  Being the stupid teenagers we were at that time, we decided to buy two spiders, and keep them as pets. It wasn't till we got home that we realized we were both absolutely terrified of spiders, and neither of us wanted to transfer them into theor respective homes.

Long story short, neither of us are afraid of spiders.

We are now looking at bees to start a bee colony for honey, money, and to get over an irrational fear of bees.

Not at all. Doesn't mean I cant be around them. I have to deal with it somehow. I deal with most of them by squishing them, asserting my predatory dominance over them, in hopes that their friends will witness and leave me alone.

Im very weird in some of my doings, but hey, it's what makes me unique.

I can only hope they view me like some sort of Attack on Titan murder. To clarify,  I hope they see me as the titan and they are just the villagers who have no training on how to take me down.

So yes, I kinda hope their families fear me as the murder of their brethren.

I did not know, but if you dont show dominance over them, whats to stop them from becoming some sort of supreme overlord, whom rise up and overthrow the globak government as we knkw it?!

I like to think of myself as a funny person, but a lot of people dont seem to see it in me.

Im actually wide awake at 3:22 am. I haven't slept for about 20ish hours, but such is life in soviet united states. All those typos were from being on mobile, and I fat fingered the touchscreen. Usually I'm pretty good at catching them.

Unfortunately,  no. If I was being worked to death I woukd have lots of money to feed expensive hobbies such as vaping, gaming, and model tank/aircraft building.

Also, I would have an employer,  which would be nice.

When I had the funds for it, I would buy, assemble, and fit r/c electronics into balsa wood airplane models. Sold a few here and there, but now all my stuff is at my grandparents place 30ish miles away, so I haven't been able to continue since I moved out over a year ago.

At the same time I was doing balsa planes, I was doing plastic tanks for my own personal pleasure. Lost my pictures of them when I got a new phone a few years back though.

How exactly does that whole piercing prejudice stuff that makes it pretty hard for you to get a job make you feel?

My pg-13 opiniom of it, is that I fail to see how piercings should dictate the quality of work/work ethics of said pierced person. It comes from a fear of "different". Funny thing is that ot is not so "different" anymore,  yet the previous generations that set silly industy standards still holds onto their unfounded belifes.

I was threatened with termination of employment at my last job, when I originally started seriously talking about having it done.

I also had a job interview for a local company that paid decently but not well, and they told me that if I wanted it I had to take out the piercings. I asked for a middle ground where I could just use clear retainers, and they said "no".
