Okay I understand if he is leaving Konami. I don't care but removing his name from Metal Gear? Like its always been "A Hideo Kojima Game!" Now its not its just "Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain"
Like what the ****!!!

This coupled with the fact that David Hayter isn't Snake anymore makes me worried for Phantom Pain

I'm done. I'm so done. I'm more done than done. First David Hayter, now
NO KOJIMA?!?
I'm done. I'm so done.

Is he actually gone now?
I thought that he was still going to be contracted by them.
Latest thing I've heard though is that he's actually disappeared.

I never liked Big Boss, the 80s.. screw that :3
I think Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Metal Gear Solid, was possibly the only good ones. Although its ironic considering i loved MGS2 as a 13 year old kid. But aslong as he gets inspired to do cool stuff then its nice. Maybe he just try to be less ego about it, by removing the label etc, even though i don't care much if he wants to call it that or not, aslong as the game is good.
But yeah, used to be a huge fan. But i do think Metal Gear Rising was actually fresh and unique to be a new game, it added some interesting concept to it.

Kojima has always joked around saying "this will be my final metal gear", but now he really means it! Its sad that the series is coming to an end, but after 25 years, i think kojima wants to move on. Despite Konami's bullsh#t, hideo is 100% committed to finishing the phantom pain. I think its going to be the best mgs ever and goty 2015 without a doubt. I cant wait to see BB's transformation from (sort of) good to evil. However, i fear for Silent Hills which Kojima was also working on with Konami. Does this mean it will be cancelled?
