Title: Drawings of Skael
Post by: Skael on March 19, 2015, 05:45:54 PM
This is my first [bad] drawing of my sona, Skael.

This is my first drawing. It's a bad one but if we'd all begin with Da Vinci's drawing skills, it wouldn't be funny...

So here's my first drawing of Skael

Hehe, your post made me laugh. It's optimistic and yet true and also perhaps 'depressing' in some way.
I'm glad you decided to share you artwork, even if you think it might look 'bad'. I myself wouldn't ever use the word bad for a drawing or any other form of artwork, but I could offer critique. Giving some handles for people to grasp and work on.

With most artworks, be it of young 'amateur'/hobbyist drawing artists to 'professional'/working artists, one can always give/get critique. No work (in my opinion) is 100% perfect.

With this long post, I guess I want to say that I'm happy you decide to share this picture, and that you do admit it might not be the best of drawings, it's still something you want to share and that you want to improve.

If you'd like any tips or anything, I can give some. Same with tutorials. Just PM me, and I'll reply :)

Anyways, good luck with your future drawings ^^
Hope you turn out to be a new Da Vinci ;)

So, I managed to draw a better one...

Not perfect, but still better than the last...   XD

You're welcome :3   It surely shows. And I really like you added colour too. A lot of people tend to avoid colouring ^^;

And maybe that's what you can do: Focus on one part of what you want to draw, and so therefor slowly build up your skills, until eventually you can combine it all and draw your fursona in one go :)
