I'm very new to all this and still a bit shy, but I am glad to have found what looks to be a very friendly community.
I have been a closet furry for a while now, but have always been scared or worried about what people would think of me. Very few of my friends are even into the same things I am (games, sci-fi, technology, space), and as a result I have never expressed my true colors. On the exterior, I have always been a very confident person who stays fit and healthy, and I have always worked out to help boost myself, but it never fulfilled me because of what I knew I could not share. I tried to test the waters once and share some things with my previous girlfriend (not about furries but about other things in the hopes I can eventually talk about it) and she was very critical and abusive to me (she was very abusive in general), so I have never truly felt comfortable as a furry, having only myself to share it with.
But I feel things might be on the up for me... yesterday I told the first person I have ever told in my entire life about my love for furries (my current girlfriend), and she showed nothing but complete support (she may not fully understand, but she accepts me which made me almost want to cry), which has now given me the confidence to share it more openly. Hence my coming here. It is going to be a long journey, but I am so relieved to be able to make a start! It's like a weight off my shoulders where I am free to be who I really am.
I am so happy to have found this place and look forward to getting to know everybody in time. Please feel free to get to know me too... for starters: I am an Australian who moved to the United States, and I work in the gaming industry. I'm sure more will come out eventually.

P.S. If you are wondering what an Arcadian Wolf is: I write a lot of science fiction stories that take place on a planet called "Arcadia" and often escape there myself when I need to feel safe.

You will come to notice that everyone around here is very nice and awesome. I have fun with these guys around here. If you ever want to talk about computers and technology gadgets I'm all ears.
On the forums you will typically find me in the random topic threads. To be honest it gets very entertaining in there. I've laughed so hard many times in those rooms.

And scifi! Scifi ish FUN! I just love coming up with scifi tech, it's rather fun. I like to keep it sorts grounded too, which is why most of my stuff uses MAC cannons (of which we have areal, working one today) and use photonic molecule shields! (we've only made like reeeeeaaaly small photonic molecules, like one or two photons, but it's a thing!)
