Title: Would you like to be your fursona?

I've been thinking recently. One topic has already been made asking how would you react if one day you woke up as your fursona.
From that thread, you can understand that people have different points of view. Some would absolutely love it, and others wouldn't.
So, my main question in this thread is : Do you truly dream of being your fursona?

Would you really want to be, in a virtual/cartoonistic or in real life, your fursona or not?
After, I know some would not want to always be their alt and would prefer having a choice, when to be or when not to be your fursona.
You can also choose to be a shapeshifter.

I say that even realizing that there's complications to come with it (like, if i shower, it's gonna take me FOREVER to dry my fur). And my tail would get in the way of everything. And how will i wear sunglasses?? I think about this stuff regularly lol. It wouldn't be practical but i guess i would figure something out ;)

Also, i want to be the only anthro wuf in existence so that everyone can be jealous.

on one hand I'm enjoying being me right now,
on the other hand I'd love to be Zarco, but I wouldnt fit in with the current society.

If the choice was, be me in the current world or be Zarco in a furry world, I'd choose to be Zarco without the need to think about it
however if the choice was in our current world only, then I'd be a shapeshifter and have the best of both worlds

The only difference is he is a bit more attractive then my human form but the personality is exactly the same. I mean it's me after all.

The issue comes that if i were to spontaneously wake up as some sort of humanoid Vulpine, there would be so many issues to deal with short and long term.
What would i tell my family ? Seems like it would make most things overly complicated such as school, work, and so on.
I fully admit, i would capitalize on the event : Film a few naughty things and sell them online : instant bank roll, at a minor loss of some dignity. But hey people would pay big bucks to see a naughty vixen ^^;

Then we have the issue that you would be the only kind of your species... you might get captured and locked up as an animal for study.

And lastly of all, a humanoid Vulpine might be a lot more scary than it would be cute and sexy.

The reality is that I'm not sure the idealized furry in my mind, is what it would be IRL.

It is to an extent, but its not exactly my sona : my sona is a little more closer to realistic fur patterns and colours (black skin, light grey fur, rounder ears etc). I am not all that special to look at IRL.

but aside from that it'd just be plain funny... blue dragon flying over a building you get to the otherside and only see a lanky white guy standing their looking like a dork :P
