It was another morning for young survivor, Emily Amberfang. She was, as always, scavenging for food. Water was something she had plenty of, having access to a working tap. But food she struggled for.
Unbeknownst to her she was being watched, a silhouette standing high above her. Silently he watched the entire city. And silently he plotted.
Emily's tribe was a group of outcasts come together, this new world had safety in numbers, and barricades helped too, of course.
She soon was on her way home, having found a weeks-worth of food. But now, she would be, and was, a target.

Jacob sat up in an old church tower, his scoped rifle laying on his lap. He was on watch again, his tribe being extremely cautious of everyone and everything trying to steal their food. They had set up in an old time police station, finding the thick walls and steel bars good for protection. He let out a sigh and stood up, tossing a stone down into the street.

Emily paused, looking up. "Ahh, I see who it is!" Emily proclaimed loudly. "Jacob, you son of a gun!" she called, knowing the other from her time along side him - before being outcast.

Jacob looked down and a smile instantly creased his lips. "Emily!" He greeted back down to her. " Jesus, how have you been?"

Suddenly a bullet flew past Jacob's head, missing him by less than an inch. "Don't act like that, you moron!" she yelled. "Your my ally no longer!"

"Hey, you came to me first!" He yelled back, ducking into the tower. He scrambled over to his rifle and held it against his chest.

Emily couldn't really say that was a lie, after all; it wasn't.

"So is this how its going to be now? You and I shooting at each other?" She couldnt see it but Jacob had a big smile on his face. "I would hope your new tribe has better marksmen then that!"

(i'll join in tomorrow, but for now i'd like to just suggest you make an OOC thread on the page in the link. that way you can have people post their characters so everyone can keep track of them, the background story can be put up so people joining can get an idea of what the story is and everyone can talk out of character without filling up this thread. you don't have to though.)

Kalan chuckled watching the mortal bloods fight. He always founds something so primitive in guns, what was the fun in killing your enemy from a hundred feet away. No cold hard steel was the way to go you got to look a man in the eyes when you struck him down. He stood in the doorway of an abandon building listen to the sounds of the night, or at least he was until the commotion started.

The figure silently watched again, this time in full view. He was just a large black silhouette, looking down creepily at the squabbling tribes.
He spoke without moving. "Keep going. Kill eachother. Fight. Die!"
Emily fired at him, and he simply vanished!

Jacob heard the shot and crawled across the floor, quickly getting up and firing a shot. He shot far enoufh away not to hit, but still close enough to scare.

Remulus watched in confusion not noticing who she shot at. "So, can we get food now, Emily? Doesn't help to walk around starving. He teased.
I will find you, and I...will...HUG YOU!!

Emily looked to the group disgustedly. "Get lost! This is for my tribe!"
She continued running home, though firing on the group she once belonged to.

Jacob sat back with a sigh, tilting his gun against the stone wall. He didnt want to hurt Emily, that was the last thing he wanted to do, but had she not fired on him first? The fox tossed around an idea, knowing it could get him killed, butdecided to do it anyways. Getting up, he went down the church tower and into the street and following after them.

Kalan watched the the mortal blood run off. Thank the gods i thought i was gonna have to find a quiet spot somewhere else he thought. He returned to his meditation a bird sat on a nearby ledge a wind drifted through the ruined town the air smelled of rain but he doubted it would rain. He thought back to his childhood in the northern woods sitting on the edge of his father's glade meditating after a fresh rain enjoying the smell, he loved that smell. How the world had changed.

Emily fired again, her bullets missing by less than a hair. It seemed almost purposeful. She also threw several pawfuls of taps on the path way.

Jacob dove behind a ruined cat as the bullets wizzed past, feeling the wind of them against his fur. "Emily wait! I just want to talk!" he shouted, breathing heavily. It was obvious she didnt want to be followed and he doubt he could convince her otherwise.

Tim laid low behind a brick wall, hearing the shootout. He was carrying four small cloth bags of rice seeds. More than enough to get killed for.
"Uhhhmmm, It would be nice if everyone stopped shooting!!!" He yelled.
"Why can't we hold an alliance between leaders like we used too?...."

Alright enough was enough he moved away from the shooting maybe if they killed each other he could have some peace

Emily looked to Tim and back to Jacob. "Shut it. You two started this!"

Jacob sighed, willing to try one more thing. He looked over to Tim and peeked around the car to Emily, taking a deep breath."Here goes nothing..." He laid his rifle against the car and stood into the middle of the street, throwing his paws up. "Look, I dont want to fight. Im sorry you got outcasted, I get it, Jax is an asshole. But that dosent mean that we havw to be at each others throats now." Jacob silently prayed that his words worked, or at least his bulletproof vest would absorb the inpact.

Emily stopped firing, though she kept running. "Screw you!" is all Jacob heard in reply.

"Let's be reasonable...." He saw Emily running "or not."
Tim peeked up looking at Jacob. "So, usual day of farming?"

He sat on a chunk of concrete, he assumed once belonged to the crumbling building behind him, eating an apple he had found outside of town a few days earlier. He looked up at the sky as he ate a bird flew over head making a racket as it did. He could still hear the mortal bloods fighting but they were far enough away he could choose to ignore them now. He reached out his hand toward a small pebble and whispered come. The pebble resisted at first but surrend and drifted to his hand. He placed it between his thumb and middle finger giving it a flick he watched as the noisey bird fell to the ground quiet now. He stood pleased with himself, "now i have dinner" he smiled as he walked over to the bird.

"Damn it." Jacob swore, slamming his fist on the car. He grabbed his rifle and swung it over his shoulder. "Farming? No, just on watch. Find anything interesting? " (Im assuming me and you are in the same tribe Tim or nah?)

Not far away, someone was watching the exchange between Jacob and Tim. It was mole who's name was Borris Hill, a lone scavenger who has survived by living underground in the dirt as most moles do. He wore a black shirt and blue overalls, both extremely dirty. What really made him dangerous was the amount of explosives he carried with him and his military grade grenade launcher. As he listened to the two Black Corps. talk from the hole he had dug, he noticed that one of them had a four sacks of what looked like rice. His stomach growled as he had eaten very little over the past week and tried to come up with a plan to steal the rice. He pulled out a small pack of C4 that had timer strapped to it. "Distraction..." He whispered as he concieved a plan. He went back in his hole and quickly dug his way to a nearby car. While underneath the car he strapped C4 to the bottom of the engine and set the time for 2 minutes before pressing start. The C4 wasn't close enough to hurt anyone but it certainly would make a big bang. Borris went back in his hole and dug his way to safe distance that was also really close to the guy with the rice.

"There is no way this is going to work." "Sure it will, I was working all night on it""I fail to see how that means it's it's going to run. It's been dead longer than you've been alive."The three stood together in the remains of an abandoned barn, rusted parts and grease surrounding them and the old broken down car one of them was working on. "Would you two get over here and help instead of just staring at my butt and telling me it wont work!" "Fine Demi, what do you want me to do?" One of the two males walked over to the car, a tall lizard wearing a large sand coloured coat that hid most of his features. The woman he walked over to had slid herself under the car, her feline body covered in black fur and old overalls with a grease stained t-shirt over the top. "Just pass me the wrench for now I'll get you to try starting it in a sec." "You two have fun, I'm going back to the farm house to see if we missed anything." The other male, a thin white furred fox, walked out and headed towards the broken down farm house nearby, looking off into the distance as gunshots echoed from the direction of one of the faction settlements in the area, he didn't know who it belonged to and wasn't interested in finding out.

Jacob looked around, ears perked at what he thought was the sound if movement. But looking around yielded nothing but ruined street and he shrugged it off. "We should het back to the station. " Jacob said to Tim. "Jax is going to flip his shit when he finds out the other tribes are pushing closer to our territory. "

"...3...2...1...boom!" Borris counted down the seconds as he listened for that glorious sound. The timer on the C4 had hit zero and with that the car blew up with a huge amount of force that sent shrapnel flying in every which direction. The car was engulfed in flames and blew up again as left over fuel from the engine had also caught on fire and combusted. Borris burst from the ground next to Tim and quickly grabbed the bags of rice while he was distracted.
"Thank you, come again!" Borris said mockingly as he hurried back down his whole, with his tail just sticking out of the entrance to his escape route.

Kalan jumped to his feet ryegard in hand at the sounds of explosion, he looked around for any signs of trouble blade at the ready.

Tim reeled from the explosion and layed down for a few seconds. Little did he knows, he just got robbed.
" . . . Ahh, umm, yeah. We should leave and head to the station." Tim got up and dusted himself off, speaking to jacob.
"I think he'll feel a little better once we can get them off our backs for a while." He thought about all the rice seeds he had.

Borris kept digging as fast he could to make some distance between him and the black corps. When he finally reached his main tunnel deep underground, he stopped to inspect his loot. Still out of breath, he opened one of the bags to inspect his find. Borris couldn't wait to fry up some nice rice...seeds?!? He couldn't eat seeds! Out of frustration, he was about to toss the bag of seeds far down one of the many digging holes until he realized something. He was no farmer but there was a tribe not to far away from here with furs who were. All he needed to do was make a trade, and knowing how many people would kill for these, he figured he could get a decent amount of food back as part of the trade. The tribe was already familar with him as he has made explosives for them before, dohe wasn't a stranger. With that plan in mind he made his way down his tunnel that lead to the Outcast's base. He could almost taste the food.

Jacob had also been thrown from the blast, smackung his head off the ground and getting a piece of shrapnel in his vest. His vision blurred, but he could see a small glimpse of Borris retreating into his hole. "Damn Outcasts" He mummbled before getting up. The grayfox looked over at Tim and, once seeing he was alright, spoke. "I dont think thats whats going to happen. Knowing Jax, I fear once he hears about this he is going to do something drastic. Jacob turned and looked back down yhe street before turning to head back to the police station.

Emily paused, hearing the explosion. "Borris..." she muttered before continuing to run. She eventually stopped at the entrance to an old road tunnel. The other end had caved in, and housed her people's settlement. She quickly ran into the darkness.
She soon came across a small, shoddy town, built from wood and scrap. A generator powered the small base and a few farmers sat down in frustration. Another failed crop. "No food?" she asked.
"Nope... You?"
"Jackpot!" Emily proclaimed.

Borris climbed up the tunnel that lead to right outside the Outcast's base. While he was eager to trade the Outcast's, he wasn't stupid. In the wasteland, walking into anyones camp or base unanounced could get you shot. He put on his perscription shades, which he couldn't see properly without, and made his presence known.
"Hello! It is Borris and i have come to trade! Anyone there?" Borris shouted and waited patiently outside. He set the bags of seeds down gently and tried to make himself a little more presentable by brushing of some of the dirt off his clothes.

"We got nothin' to trade." Emily stated, coming out. She was armed.

Kalan had arrived at the seen of the explosion curiosity drawing him there. He kept a safe distance in order to avoid detection but close enough to hear.

"Well that's a shame, cause i've got something i know you need and for once it doesn't blow up in you face." Borris plopped the bags of rice on the ground and smiled. He saw that she was armed but didn't frankly care, he knew his services were far to valuable since he supplies not just the outcasts, but many other organizations and tribes with the stuff he finds underground and in the wastes. He was merchant after all and while some may not like accepting his services all the time, they will enventually and he always makes sure they don't regret it.

Emily sighed. "Can't afford it, sorry."

"Fine then, i guess will take my "rice seeds" elsewhere. I'm sure the Stormwinds will pay a fine price for them, or maybe even the Black Corps." Borris put some emphasis on the rice seeds, hoping that would peak her interest, and walked back to his hole, slowly.

"Sorry. Just not got the food ta trade." Emily stated.

Hearing that Borris gave and started walking normal pase now. "I understand, but you can't blame me for trying." His stomach growled and he jumped back in his hole, maybe the Black Corps, if they know he stole their rice, will forgive him and do a little trade to get there rice back.

"Bah, there better not be a hunt like last time.. I almost got killed by a wasteland gang in our last long travel."
Tim walked with Jacobs back to the Station and thought about how long they'd have to wait for their next good harvest.
"Food is getting rarer and rarer by the week. I blame the inconsiderate and wasteful gangs. Scum."

Emily waved Borris off. Then, slowly, she returned to her darkened home.

"They are just people trying to survive like us." Jacob thought back to the last hunt, which had nearly been a total disaster. "I just hope those seeds of yours will grow." Once they got to the gate, a guard let them in and Jacob went straight to Jax.
"I have two questions. What the hell was with all the gunglfire and explosions. And who was it with?" Jax grunted as soon as they walked through his door. Jacob stood at his desk, sorta nervous to tell him.
"We ran into Emily out by Trinity Church. Things got a heated and we exchanged some fire... " Jacob said the last part with a tinge of remorse. " The explosion however was from Borris, the mole. Not sure why yet, but it hurt."
Jax rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Thats the third Outcast that has approached our borders in less then a week. Please tell me you have some good news." He said, turninf to Tim. "Have a successful scavange? "

"Yes! I do!!" Tim felt his sides for the rice. o_0? Feeling nothing, he looked down to see it was stolen. Only one thing was left. His pockets and those had random dried out seeds.
"I... I, had them... I had them earlier! Wh-where'd they go?! I had four bags of Rice Seeds before we got here. I must have dropped them after that random explosion!!"

Borris climbed up to the surface once more, this time just outside the Black Corps. base. He stayed out of sight however, since he had just robbed them just a couple hours ago. He was getting really hungry and knew he culdn't escape if he presented himself to early. He thought about how to approach them and then he noticed the same furs he had robbed earlier and Jax standing outside the base talking about what thdy lost. Borris sighed. "Well if i want to continue trading i guess have to apologize." Borris took a deep breath and shouted from his hiding spot. "Well it would appear you gentlemen are missing something." Borris readied to jump back in the hole if they sounded hostile.

"Who the hell is that...." Tim turned with a sigh thinking it was a bandit, but saw a small creature instead, almost unnoticeable.
"Who's there?" He walked cautiously towards the voice.

Jax shoved both of them aside and wwnt up to Borris. "You got so realllll guts coming here outsider." He pulled out a pistol and placed it between the moles eyes. "Now give me a reason not to pull this trigger."

"I found your rice..." borris squeaked. He was expecting hostility, but a gun to his head made him drop the bags. "I'm sorry it will never happen again and shooting me would be the biggest mistake of your life..." the last bit he just barely managed to whisper.

Tim ran up near Jax but out of arms reach.
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa, Jax, sir... maybe there's a reason he's here. A good reason."
"MY RICE" Tim was so happy to see the Rice he scooped up the bags and hugged them.
"I'll make you a deal. Since you returned this, i'll give you a small share once it's actually cooked."
"I would've punched your snout in but his gun is big enough."

Jax released the hammer on his gun and pulled it back. "Well thats kind of you." He said gruffly. "Tim, you invite him in hes your responsibility. You and Jacob get this outsider some food then kick his ass out. I want you guys to meet me in the armory in 20 minutes, understood?" He didnt wait for an answer, instead just walked back into the station.

"Hrngh... fine.." He mumbled to himself before looking at the mole.
"I'll get you a small water bottle. I know it gets dusty at the surface."

Borris sighed in relief. "Thank you, i thought he would blow my brains out. I'm sorry about all this, the explosion was just supposed to be a distraction so i could steal your rice seeds. I couldn't grow them myself so i tried to trade them but there were no takers who could afford to trade. I figured my only option left was to give them back and maybe get forgiven."

"I had four bags. You could've asked. I was lucky to find all of this rice. I heard a rumor somewhere that there is a dead man's food stache somewhere in a bunker. And the only way to find it, is by nightfall."
"Just be lucky you're not a bandit. I woulda had Jax shoot you. Sorry if I seem hateful, I just don't like bandits or wasteland gangs."

"Well i'm a trader and a scanvenger. If i can i actually avoid killing, which is why i live underground. We all have our own ways of surviving, mine tends to be more peaceful. All these explosive are normally meant for mining any way."

Jacob had went back inside the station and retrieved a little food. "I know its not much." He said when he returned. "But its something. Honestly im surprised Jax gave this up at all, you must of caught him on a good day." He laughed a little and handed a few canned foods to Borris. "But yeah, next time id prefer if you asked."

Suddenly a paper plane landed next to Jacob. It had Emily's signature on one of the wings.
Then an energy pulse went off - three of them!
((New weapon being put in play, pulse rifles. You only get one if given one. You need to have one to give it.))

Something in the air caught Jacobs eye, and he caught it as it came down. It was a paper plane, one with a signature he recognized. "Emily?" He said confused. But the fox didnt have much time to question it further, because just then the sounds of pulse rounds pilled the air. His ears twitched as one of the lookout in a make shift guard tower began yelling, and, instinctively, he immediately dove for cover.

"Aaah! You can't have it!" Borris with the food and water in his arms tried to run for his hole. This wasn' his fight and he certainly wasn't going to be shot at over it.

Emily burst through the gates with a Pulse-Rifle in hand, along with two others. More outcasts were charging too. "Jaxx dies today! So will those that aid him!"

As Borris ran he heard, what Kalan said. "They all must..." Borris had no idea what had gotten into her, but he couldn't let that happen. These people just gave him food when they didn't have to, and they didn't deserve to die. "I may regret this...but screw it!" Borris dropped the food in his hole and pulled out his grenade laucher. He took cover behind a boulder and shot two grenades into a group of outcast that were charging the base. The grenades hit there mark and several Outcasts went flying as explosions erupted right under their feet. Most of them screamed in pain on the ground while two layed their unmoving. This was Borris's first kill.

Emily saw a grenade and kicked it back to the source.

"Crap!" Borris jumped out of the way as the second grenade landed right in front of him. It exploded and Borris felt a sharp pain in his right leg. He looked down at his leg amd saw a good sized piece of shrapnel stuck in his thigh. Borris clenched a scream as he renched it out and blood began flowing out of the wound at an alarming rate. This was bad, he needed to treat his wound and fast so slowly he crawled back into his hole, leaving a trail of blood behindhim.

Jacob was in shock to see the outcasts, The Black Corporation has never been attacked at their home base.
But there had always been a reason for that.
Jacob watched as all the farmers and field workers ran inside the station, the guards and the watchmen taking up position outside the doors. Up on the roof appeared a white wolf in combat gear, a microphone in hand. "You basterds just made the biggest mistake of your life!" Jax snarled. "But let me tell you something, living in an old time police station has its perks!" The snarl on his face turned into a grin as he spoke again. "Black Corp! Lets show these **censor** what happens when the step into our home!"
The enterance to the Station burst open and Black Corp filed out. Ranks of people clad in different peices of riot gear spilled into the courtyard. The first line of them held riot sheilds and charged straight into the outcasts.

The outcasts Pulse-Rifles tore through the enemy lines. Emily looked to Jax and snarled, "You c***, I'll rip out your heart!"
Emily lept at Jax, knocking his head of cleanly, in one blow - or that was what she had planned. She was knocked down by Jax, and the two began a one on one duel. "Kill only those who would harm you!"

As the first line went down, the second line picked up the shields and charged again. The lines behind them fired into the pulse riflers with shot guns and AR-15s. Black corp watchmen fired down into the crowds of outcasts with sniper rifles and grenades.
Jax saw Emily coming, and quickly stuck out and beat her down. He swung over the railing and landed infront of her, hands in a fighting position. "Well youre trying to harm me, so I guess ill take your words."

Emily quickly kicked Jax in his... Private parts - a cheap shot. She then jumped up and dug a knife deep through his back. "Retreat!" Emily ordered, though did not move herself. She placed her gun to Jax's head, breaking both his arms.
Then, she fired.

Jacob had been fighting, picking off outcasts with his rifle. But then he saw. The stike, the fight.
The fall.
He sprinted as fast as he could to where Emily and Jax were and tackled Emily to the ground. But the grayfox realized he was to late as the gun went off and Jax's body fell limply to the ground. Their leader was dead.
As this was happening, the Black Corp didnt let up. As the Outcasts retreated, the ranks followed, continueing to shoot into the mobs of their running foe.

Emily yelled, "Jax has fallen. We have no further dispute." she tossed her Pulse-Rifle to Jacob with a smile. "Lead 'em well."
And she vanished with her people.

Even deep underground, Borris could still feel small tremors of explosions. However he was more conserned about his own injuries then what was up there. He was losing blood fast, the shrapnel must have hit a vain. He had to work fast. He cleaned out the dirt that had gotten in th wound with the water bottle from his food pile, then pulled out some bandages and anti-bacteria spray. He sprayed the wound which burned like hell as the solution worked its magic, but Borris held his screams and continued. The spray had slowed the bleeding but he was still in danger of going unconsious, in fact Borris was already feeling light headed. He quickly wrapped the wound and wrapped it tight, but not to tight. The wound bleed a little longer before finally stopping. Borris felt really weak, but he knew he would live. He drank the last of the water bottle and considered going up to help, but discarded the thought. He needed to rest so his body could reproduce the amount of blood he lost, so he fell asleep right there next to the tunnel to the Black Corps.

Jacob sat there in utter shock, looking down at the pulse rifle. It took in a few moments to come around, but when he did he screamed "EMILY! " But she was already gone. He looked down at Jax's body, staring at it in horror and freaking out more and more. Emily had no clue what she just did.
The Black Corps were retreating now, pulling back after chasing the outcasts out of their territory. Once they came through and resealed the gate, the clean up procedure started.

A Black Corp approached Jacob and saluted. "Sir, unfortunately we lost eight. We took no lives ourself. Though the Outcasts got into a skirmish with Stormwinds on their return home."

Tim walked of the station and looked at the scene. "Is it over?"
Looking around, I scope for familiar faces. "Jacob..." Tim ran to Jacob's side and watched his expression.
"...yeah, I heard her from inside. I know you don't understand right now, Hell... im confused and shocked."
After a few moments of talking with Jacob, he scouted around looking for Borris. Soon finding the hole, Tim looks inside to find Borris lying there, unconscious.. or sleeping. Tim helped dig him out the hole (made a little room) and carried Borris into a tent with a bed, some heat, and water. (still inside the camp)

Kalan stood outside the tent, he didnt like being inside faction bases he could count on ome paw the times he had done so. He looked around at the chaos before speaking "this all looks terrible, but you have a bigger problem now when word of jax death spreads the you'll have war at your doorstep everyone out there is gonna want to test there strength against the new leader". he still wasn't sure how they would react to him entering there base without permission but it was a chance he was gonna have to take.

Borris sturred in his sleep. He heard voices nearby and slowly opened his eyes but was blinded by sun light coming through the tents entrance. He closed his eyes quickly and fumbled for his shades. When he had them on he realized he wasn't in any place he recongnized. His best guess was that this was the Black Corps. camp, but as to
how he ended up here he had no clue. He tried to climb out of bed but as soon as he moved his leg he felt a searing pain in his thigh. He grunted in pain and laid back down. He forgot that he was hit by his own shrapnel grenade and almost all the pain came back. He didn't try to move again.

Don't try to move yet... you're really hurt. You should rest first. If you want, I'll take care of you.
Tim extended his tail a bit from u deer him so it could stretch. He then gave Borris a bottle of water in case he was thirsty.

It took Jacob a while to realize someone was talking to him, the shock still not leaving his system. Tim had come, said a few things, but left, probably because of the foxes silence. But almost like a switch, he snapped out of it. He stood up quickly and slung the pulse rifle around his shoulder, then began barking orders. "Alright, I want our wounded to the infirmary right away,. The dead can be taken to the back for now." He went over and grabbed a raccoon, the one who ran the armory. "I want you to get every gun we have and distribute it. Reload and fill mags to, we are going to need them." She shook her head and went off.
Jacobs head hurt. He needed to get this place safe, and quickly before the Stormwinds show up and harvest what is left. His sights instantly turned to the gate. "Grab some of the old police cars and roll them infront of the entrance! We have to make sure no one else can get in!"

Two sets of pulse blasts could be heard, followed by a series of explosions. Looked, and sounded, like the Outcasts had run into the Stormwinds.
Suddenly a silhouette materialised next to a troop, though only Jacob could see him.

"Thank you..." Borris accepted the water from Tim and took small sips. "I had tried to help by shooting a couple grenades into the outcast, and you see how well that worked out." He gestured to his bandaged leg.

Jacob looked at the silhouette, a confused look on his face. "W-who are you?" He asked, a paw going down to his sidearm.
-
"I am... Everything..." the silhouette said darkly, a creepy tone to its voice.

Jacob, who was already on high tension, began to grit his teeth, his nerves becoming unraveled. "You better be a lot more specific or the next thing that will come out of your mouth will be blood.

"Hm.. well, you might be able to use your leg for a couple weeks. And in this wasteland, weeks feel like forever."
"Hhhh, If it helps, I can stay with your people and help farm for you. Unless you'd rather try avoiding trouble at all and just heal."
Tim sat in a small pile of pillows and ponders about his status in the camp.
"Great... people are gonna be coming from everywhere to try and take this place. We just started getting settled, besides the recent outcast spottings."
"Your people are lucky Borris. You don't have to worry about war and territory."

He let his gaze fall on tim as he slowly pushed back the opening of the tent. "May i come in".

"Ehuhhh, sure I guess..." Tim grabbed a knife with his tail, being safe.
He sat in the same position as earlier, not changing to seem unthreatened and not harmful.

He looked over at borris "you gonna live"? He switched his gaze back to tim, "i assure you you i mean you no harm in fact i need you war will come if something isn't done i fear jacob is even now preparing for a counter offensive, i pray im wrong but if he is than war is inevatable. A war that will destabilized what growing lands we have left around and turn this whole area into a desert wasteland". He paused for a moment imagining such a place. "Another way must be found".

"I know war will happen." Tim layed his head over Borris' stomach and listened closely

"Not necessarily a peace accord has to be struck otherwise war could be doom for us all"

TIm lifted his head off of Borris stomach, distracted by the conversation.
"Eh.. A peace treaty would be nice but everyone knows a treaty never comes without a backstab or doublecross."
"Honestly, I can't do much in terms of fighting. Im more of a farmer and scouter."

"But you can get me an audience with jacob can't you"? He loomed at tim with a serious composer.

Emily was returning to the gates, carrying an incapacitated scout from the Black Corporation. She found him injured in an old building. "Hey. Mind letting me lend a hand again? And I wanna explain somethin' to Jacob," she called.
She also happened to have a captive Stormwind with her.

Tim looked at the newcomer with an almost laughing face. "Yeah. I can get a quick conversation for you but I can't guarantee anything else."
"In fact, I think now is the best time. Stay here please, if you dont mind."
Tim left the tent and went looking for Jacob. "Jaaacooob! Oh, you never left this spot. I have a guest who would wish to speak with you. In my tent, he's there. He's not a leader though, just giving you a fair idea of what to expect."
TIm turned and saw Emily there at the gates. "Looks like we need a big meeting, boss. Emily is back. Lets have everyone meet somewhere diplomatically worthy."
Tim walked up to the gate and looked at Emily. "I see you've returned..... Alright, let's see what Jacob says."
Tim opened the gates and let her in, then closed it immediately after she entered.

Emily scowled at one of the guards who had swore at her. "Just because Jax outcast me doesn't mean I wanna kill you all."

The guard wasnt the only one to act hostile. As Emily entered the courtyard, people stopped and stared, hatred and anger in their expressions and paws gripped tight around their weapons.
Jacob narrowed his eyes at the figure. "Well?" He said, an edge in his voice. His paw was just about ready to draw his gun when he heard the familiar voice of Tim. His gaze shifted from the being to the person, but quickly back. Does Tim not see this? Maybe he was loosing his mind, but he had heard the silhouette speak hadnt he?
The fox sighed and massaged the bridge of his nose before nodding to Tim and following him over to the gate. "I dont think now was the best time to return Emily." Jacob said, looking around at all the staring people. "Couldn't yhis of waited for later? You know what, youre hear now so it dosent matter." Another sigj escaped his lips. "Tum, could you take everyone that wamt to talk to me and have them meet me in guard tower 3? I have something to take care of first."

"Alrighty then, sir." Tim looked to Emily "I think you know which one that is, if not.. i'll lead you there."
Tim then walked to his tent where Borris and the new guy were sitting. "Borris, you want to come with? We're having a small, personal meeting." He looked towards the stranger. "Sorry for the wait. Please if you would. Follow me to Guard Tower 3."
Tim kind of waited a bit for Borris

Emily growled, slightly frustrated. "I'm not a moron! It's been a week!" she barked. It had only, indeed, been a week since being outcast.
The silhouette chuckled. "I simply want one thing - War. The Black Corporation are strong. Only you can win."

"I dont know if you saw what happened, but we just got our asses handed to us by the outcasts. In our own base! Yeah The Black Corporation has more guns and armor then the other tribes, but none of that means crap because we dont even have enough people to use it all or the food and medical supplies to support a war. And the minute we attack another tribe, we will be attacked by the third and have battle on two fronts." This was the way Jacob saw it. But in his heated and confused state the thought of war brought up a thirst for blood. "We are done talking about this, I have other matters to attend to." With that he left the shadow and continued over to the guard tower.
The old building loomed above him. It was the only tower built with the station, made of brick and concrete and relatively sturdy. The grayfox entered inside and went up the stairs to the top, sitting down in a chair and looking over three familiar faces and one unknown one. Jacobs expression was blank of any emotion, and he let a few moments of silence pass by before speaking. "So what is it you guys needed to talk to me about?"

The shadowy figure had followed Jacob to his meeting, and Emily was looking at it in disbelief. "You!" she yelled, "Silhouette! You are not welcome!" Emily pulled her rifle out, firing. The silhouette simply evaded the attack by warping around it, much to the outcasts dismay.

Borris was still tired after the fight from earlier and had not really been paying attention. He didn't even notice Emily had walked in until Tim started talking to him. "Yes i'll come, just give me some crutches or something to help me get around and i'll be fine." He knew he shouldn't move around to much but he needed to at least try to make amends with the outcasts. If he could reastablish trade with them he would be back in business.

"So you see it too." Jacib said with a grimace. "I dont know what it is."

"Umm...what's going on out there?" Borris had grabbed some crutches that were next to his bed and slowly got himself out of bed. He never had a leg injury before so it took him a moment to get used to them, but he managed to get outside the tent with his backpack of supplies. Outside he also noticed the shadowman that was attracting so much attention. "W-What the hell is that..." Borris stuttered

Kalan stood behind borris the hair on the back of his neck standing on end. "I dont know but if she's shooting at it nothing good im sure".

Jacob was getting even more annoyed, but still tried to keep his cool. "I dont think it is going away, so please, can we continue? "

Borris nodded and followed Jacob to tower three. He really hoped his thing wasn't as dangerous as it appeared.

"You guys can go ahead inside. I'll watch the door."
Tim said as he walked to the Guard Tower.
"Remember, Diplomatic Civilities!!"
His tail felt like there was a current running through it just standing there and watching the door.
It was like he could feel how tense it was in the camp, it made it even less securing knowing that everyone knew Emily was in the camp and in the same building with Jacob.

Emily spoke up, "Jacob, first off, I apologise for the raid. But Jax needed to go. No outcast has a problem with you, however."

Jacob stared at her in silence, waiting for her to continue. His claws made a sharp click click click click sound as he strummed them on the chair, his face returned to a blank slate.

Kalan leaned against the wall the hair on his neck still slightly on end, he hated diplomacy but found it essential to the.survival of a cohesive society. Gun play was the simplest way to a solution but was also the quickest way to complete anarchy.

I stood alone in the town hall bell house. Not much happened in the part of town I stayed in. I heard of a group of people surviving not too far from myself. I figured I'd travel and check it out today. I packed all my things in the satchel bag I had and moved out to find the group of furs. I had my two smgs in my paws just in case. Or if it was very bad I could try to be invisible.

Jen sat down on the edge of the roof and surveyed the wreckage. It had been a while since he last came to this place. He pulled his legs up and let out a sigh. I wonder if anyone's out there who aren't crazy... he thought to himself. Suddenly, he heard sounds. Some sort of commotion was going on. The fox dropped down and pulled out his revolver. Gotta check it out! He rounded the corner and took a look around, eyeballing the group by the tower

Borris wasn't quite sure what to say yet. He could feel the tension in the air and most of it seemed to come from Jacob, and right now seemed to be a really bad time to try to talk about trade negotiations.

Emily looked outside the makeshift walls and smirked. "Company, eight 'o' clock!"

Jacob turned and looked. "The guards should take care of him." Even as he said it, two people in full SWAT uniforms walked out of the gate and walk up to Jen. "Stop, you are in Black Corporation territory. " One of them said, holding up a paw. "Unless you have business here, please turn around and leave. And refusal or action that you make otherwise will be considered hostile and will be delt with with force."
Jacob nodded and turned back to Emily. "I understand you and a lot of the outcasts didnt like Jax, but the thing about it is it could of been delt with in another way. Jax was one of the only old world military members that survived the fall, a high ranking one too. He knew strategy, military techniques, and was the only one who could keep this place together in the beginning. Hell, he was the only one who could keep this place together at all..." The fox leaned forward and placed his face in his hands, massaging his temples. "Jesus Emily, I was a pilot before all this, I dont know how to lead." He looked back up, glancing at everyone in the room before peering back at her. "But look, youve been a good friend to me. A lot of the outcasts have been good friends to me, and I understand you guys were only doing what you thought was right. So Im not going to be angry, and I wont seek out vengeance or war.

Emily nodded as a Black Corp scout entered. "Sir," he said, "Two Outcast soldiers are requesting a world with you."

Borris let out a sigh of relief. "Well this is good, i'm glad we won't have to see any more bodies pile up. Maybe later, when we have calmed down a bit, we could even reastablish trade with one another." Although Borris was optamistic, he was still worried about why the shadow was still here. Something inside him told him peace wouldn't be this easy.

I continued until I found a bunch of furs in vests marked for swat. That and two having a 'conversation' that I kept hidden from for now. I holstered one of my smgs and opened the foregrip on the other for a little more stability and accuracy. Although I wouldnt try to start a fight since I was outnumbered I wouldn't go out without a fight if they attacked first.

Emily looked to the gates, seeing the Black Corps and Outcasts chatting. The two tribes got along, but Jax had hated them.
The two Outcasts raised a pair of rifles. "Back off!" one yelled to the newcomer.

Jacob nodded and got up. But before he went out the door to follow them, he approached Emily and leaned down. "While I dont personally have a beef with the outcasts, most of the members of my tribe, who looked up to Jax, might. They will be angry, and they will be scared. ... they will ask for retaliation. If I cannot convince them otherwise, then I will have to give in to their wishes or be forced out of my position of leader ship. And it isnt the position I am worried or concerned about. Its who they will replace me with."
He tried to keep an expressionless face, but a look of worry creased over it for a second. He turned to the scout. "Alright, lead me to them."

The scout nodded and lead Jacob to the gates. Emily quickly followed suit, her clan being involved.

Jacob looked back to Kalan and said "We can speak later if you want, but i have to take care of this first." beforr following the scout until they reached the gates. He crossed his arms as he stood infront of the outcasts. "What would you like to talk to me about?"

The two looked at Emily in surprise. "Uhm.... M-Miss Amberfang?!" One yelled in shock, a distasteful glance being the response. "We... Require medical aid, our home fell. C-Commander..."
The two looked at eachother and the one who had been silent spoke, "Your daughter is confirmed... Dead..."
Emily suddenly turned ten shades paler. "W-What...?"

Finally I decided to move up. Who were these furs? They were not only well trained... But they looked like they were doing well in this sort of world. I moved up and holstered my other smg. As I came up to the leader of the swat group. Or, at least it seemed this one was.

Borris hobbled to the gate as quickly could. "What how did she die?" Borris asked with actual concern. As trader he often tried to make friends with his customers and even knew most of the outcasts by name. To hear about any deaths made him sad.

Jen looked at the SWAT guards and holstered his weapon. He raised his paws. "I don't mean any sort of trouble. I am here purely to investigate. I heard some commotion, and wanted to be sure it wasn't yet another of those creatures that took my group." He took one gentle step forward and tilted his head. "And Black Corporation? I thought it was taken down long times ago. I had business with some association that sounded like that."

The Outcasts looked to Borris and then to the newcomer. The one aiming guns at them. "Put the weapons away or it will be considered an act of aggression!"

Tim inconveniently appeared at the gate. "We brought ourselves back in secret."

A frown creased Jacobs face as the words of the outcasts sunk in. He turned to Emily, noticing the shock and paleness on her face before turning back. "Tell me what happened."
One of the guards broke off and stood in front of Sahaara, holding a shotgun up to his chest. "Please, you are in Black Corporation territory. Unless you have offical business im going to have to ask you to leave." The guard said, a tinge of nervousness in his voice.
The other guard looked at Tim, over to Jen, then back yo Tim. "Im not sure we can trust to many outsiders right now, but its your call whether these guys get the boot or not." He said.

"I have two tents outside the gate to the right. The outsiders may sit there until we learn their intentions."
Tim looked towards the fur with his paws up. "Temporarily confiscate his firearm and let him in. I'll go speak with the other guy by the gate."
Tim walked up to the guard and put his paw on his shoulder before coughing.
"Relax, just let me handle this one. Keep guard though." Tim looked at the snake fur and peacefully talked with him.
"My apologies. The guards and people have been on edge since the last attack. Just hand your weapons to me, I promise nothing will happen to you. We can talk afterwards."

I raised my hands only slightly and I looked over the guard who put a shotgun at my chest. "Isss there a way to join? Black Corporation." He asked tongue flicking naturally.

Humming what sounded like a classical song, the panther cheerfully road his bicycle through a heavily decayed highway that was stained with abandoned vehicles. The panther, who held a katana in a black and blue sheath on his back, wore a black trench coat, a grey T-shirt, grey jeans, heavy boots, and a Japanese necklace that had an ancient feel to it. He also had two black revolvers tucked hidden in his trench coat and wore a black an blue oni mask that bared an unsettling smile and eye holes that were in a perpetual 'sad' position. The panther road his bike like a child enjoying a bright, sunny day at the park. Eventually though, he noticed some commotion far up ahead and tilted his head to the right in curiosity.
"Well what do we have here?" The panther asked himself.

Jacob turned to Emily and saw her expression, putting a paw on her shoulder. "Im so sorry." He said before pulling her into a tight hug. "Who ever it was that did this, they wont get away with it."
The two guards nodded and lowered their weapons. "Just make sure to check them of any weapons before tou let them inside." One of the guards said as they returned to their positions by the gate.

As the masked panther continued riding, be began to see a female furry ahead, running from what looked to be a group of people. He then slowed his bike and halted to a stop to enjoy the show from where he was.

I looked over this new guard that relieved the other with the shotgun. For the time he put he paws down and relaxed them on his holsters. He seemed okay for right now, at least until he asked for my guns. I frowned slightly to him and took a step back. "I do not see why it should matter. I ask to join. Even if I try something I will be gunned down..." I had my fingers on the releases for the smgs on my sides. I did not like idea of giving up my guns.

He walked up and stoood beside tim, he withdrew ryegard and offered the pommel to him. "You want mine to" he said half sarcastically.

Jen looked around and lowered his paws a bit. He cleared his throat. "Do you... want me to go somewhere in particular? I'd rather not stand here all day, if you mind." He carried a half insecure tone in his voice

Emily began to wearily wander off towards Outcast territory, broken.
"Miss Amberfang?" one of the two other Outcasts said.

Tim looked at the two and made a calm response.
"Look, its just so the villagers feel comfortable. Everyone's on edge lately.
So please, just cooperate and I promise you will have your weapons back. Im not trying to lure you into a sense of false security. But if you don't want to give them up, please keep them on safety and in view."
Tim turned, walked into the camp and motioned for the two to follow. "You can join my snake outsider, but everything is a bilateral decision between Jacob and I.
So I always have to talk to him if I wish for something."

Assuming he was adressed, Jen lowered his paws fully and followed after Tim, keeping at a safe distance so as not to be slapped. "How are your supplies, if I may ask?" he questioned and looked around. "I see weapons, that's for sure."

I followed and thankfully got to keep my guns. I flicked both to safety and then walked a tad more casually, my tail sliding back and forth across the ground behind me. "My name is Korbin. I'm not all sssnake. I'm part coyote too." I mentioned calmly, still following as I started to wonder what this Jacob would say.

"This is the Black Corporation Camp. If we head here to the Guard Tower, Jacob will be with you shortly."
Tim led the two inside and waited for Jacob to return.
"Where's Borris.. more important, where's the guy who had to speak with Jacob?"

Jacob hesitated, debating whether or not to follow her. In the end he decided not to, thinking it was better just to let her comprehend what happened. With a frown, he approached Kalan. "Ill speak to you now, but lets return to the guard tower. I saw Tim bring more people up there." With that he turnes and started making his way there.

Kalan followed jacob back up to the guard tower hesitant of how to proceed, he new he wasin there base and he knew that making demands of jacob would be a dangerous thing but it was becoming necessary for survival of the furry kind.

"This is a lot to take in...i'm going back to my tent to rest for a bit...maybe make some more weapons..."With that Borris hobbled back to his tent, both mentally and physically exausted.

Perplexed from the sight, the masked panther decided to get a closer look at what was going on. He put his foot onto the peddle and went forward. He road his bike past the base to get a look at it; he wasn't too worried about being spotted by them or anything, since he was gleefully willing to slice them to pieces if they tried to attack him.

I stood silently and observed. Not much less than I expected, and if they didn't live up to what I expected I could just vanish. "Ssso. We wait for thiss. This Jacob?" He asked just making extra sure that's what was needed. Or if he should just go.

Jacob entered into the tower, holding the door open for Kalan before closing it and sitting back down in the chair. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed again as he looked over some new faces. "Alright Tim, whats the first order of business."

The base was impressive in size, the panther thought. He was about to bike on when he began to cough violently. He was forced to quickly take his mask off and cover his mouth; he knew his sickness was getting worse. Looking back at the base, the panther knew he wouldn't last another day if he didn't take medication and decided to leave his bike, walk to the gate of the base, and knock on it.

"Ok. My name is Tim, and this is Jacob. He watches over this place with my assistance. So if you ever need anything, ask us."
Tim stretched and stood up straight, projecting his voice.
"You, snake coyote guy I met. Jacob, he wishes to join us."
Tim's voice changed from his usual relaxed and caring to relaxed and serious.
"Kalan, you & Jacob need to finish talking about this camp and the wasteland's future."
Tim looked for one final person...
"I feel someone is missing.. oh Borris. Ah well... ok, first we handle this recruit then talk business."
Tim took a deep breath before sighing.
"...that's alot for me to organise."

Jen listened to the little speech and looked around. The place seemed more familiar to him than he thought at first. Still, no time to dwell on details. He turned to Tim and stared blankly in his direction, getting lost in deep thoughts.

Tim looked towards the white and blue wolf who he let in earlier."Oh... I knew I forgot someone.. You.. umm... I never got your name?"
He saw the wolf staring but didn't know if he was actually present or not since the wolf stared. "Heeeello?"
"I remember you asked me a question earlier... something about supplies? Well we have plenty for the time being. You need any?"

The fox looked up and slapped his own face to wake up.
"Oh, shit, sorry about that. I'm Jen. Or at least that's what everyone calls me. I phased out, sorry."
He pulled an insecure smile and scratched his ear.

Folding his arms and tilting his head the right, the masked panther began to think that it was abandoned. He then decided to call out, just to confirm if the base was empty. "Salutation!" He said in a surprisingly eccentric tone, "I was riding by when I came down with a most bothersome sickness! If anyone can hear me, could you generously treat my sickness? Hello?"
The masked panther was in a polite mode, he didn't want to make a rude entrance and slaughter everyone in the base, and called again.

Jacob turned to the guy who wished to join. "Usually Jax would of put up some sort of test for new recruits. A harsh one. But since the last attack im down eight men, so a few questions will have to do."
He cleared his throat and sat backn crossimg his arms. "1. Why do you want to join The Black Corporation? 2. Can you handle yourself in a fight? Can you prove it? 3. We work together here, you get what you give. Are you prepared to contribute to our survival? 4. Are you willing to protect and even lay down your life for your fellow comrades? And finally 5. Are you willing to obey any and all ordes that I or Tim give without hesitation or question?"
One of the gate guards rolled his eyes and approached the pather. "What the hell is with you outsiders today? Look, Ican let you in so you can talk to Tim or Jacob, but please, keep your weapons hidden and dont cause trouble."

"As you wish." Politely answered the panther; his oni mask making the guard slightly uneasy, "But lets make this quick. My throat pains me like a thousand devils."

I stared at the new fur that now started questions me. "One. It is civilised. Group that survive. Two how would you like me to prove it? Hand fight might need ssome work but I use gunsss well. Three, I would not come if I wasn't willing to con. Contribute. To team to sssurvive. Four... Four. Uh. Oh I would give life. I would for ammo by myself but that seem taken care of. Next thing to give life for is team. Eh. Five. That is what a team isss. Yea? Listen and do as leader ssay." He smiled for a short time and relaxed some. It was the most he had talked to anyone in long time.

With two guards beside him, the masked panther was lead through the gates and into the base, where he was then led to where this Jacob fellow was.

"BAKA!!. STUPID VERMIN!!" Tim was trying to enjoy garden lunch without bugs and birds trying to eat it
"Holy Omen of North Star! A city dweller!"
Tim waved to the Panther and was about to take a bite before a raccoon suddenly stole his lunch.
"HEY!! YOU RAT!!....hhhhh, there's no point in chasing a wild animal." Tim drank some water.

"And I assume that this is Tim?" the panther asked the guards beside him. Before he could continue his strain of thought, another violent cough escaped his mouth, forcing him to drop to his knees.

Jacob nodded to each of his answers. "Good, welcome to The Black Corporation. Ill have the head of our armory come up and outfit you with some gear." He clicked on a radio and turned it to a channel. "Tera, can you or Anna come up to guard tower 3? We have a new recruit." The fox set the radio down and turned back to the snake. "I never got your name."
The guard looked over at Tim. "This guy came to our gate, says he needs meds. Id take him over to the clinic tent and have the doc check him out."

A small series of explosions could be heard to the north - Stormwind territory.
Emily was slaughtering them in blind fury.
She had also left her captive in the Black Corps base, who was nearly free!

"Yup. He's Toki of the wasteland." Tim picked up the panther and walked him over to the doctor.
"Hey Doc! We have a new visitor! He's stricken with something strong. Check him out, will ya?"
Tim placed the panther on the padded table shortly after walking in.
"Alright Alright.." The doctor was a common black robin. He had a gruff to his voice.
"What do we have here? City panther.. mask & katanas. He can handle himself. Now tell me, what do you need?"

"Oh why thank you for you're generosity." The panther complimented, "I indeed have a fine assortment of weapons. As for the mask... I'd appreciate it if you left it alone. But enough talk, let us commence!" The panther took his katana and trench coat off, which held two revolvers, two bowie knives, and a shotgun, and revealed an infected bullet wound on his left shoulder.

The doctor immediately went to the bullet wound, prodding at it with a pair of tweezers. "Oh my, this is really not good. Havetou managed to het the bullet out?"

"I could have," The panther replied, "But I would have then bled to death and perished, since it was keeping be from bleeding out."

"I think I see part of the problem." The doctor looked at the panther's wound. Then he inspected the panther further.
"Exactly why are you here? You must be exhausted as well."
The doctor pulled out some antibiotics and de... cleaning word thingy I cat think of XD

"I am a drifter," He began, as if telling a gripping tail of adventure, "I've travel across these shattered lands, seeking adventure and punishing those who challenge me. However, I then had a run in with a group of hooligans, in which they attacked me. They posed as nuisances to be truthful, and I cut them to ribbons. However, during the splendiferous slaughter, they gave me this." He then pointed at his bullet wound.

Jacob nodded to each of his answers. "Good, welcome to The Black Corporation. Ill have the head of our armory come up and outfit you with some gear." He clicked on a radio and turned it to a channel. "Tera, can you or Anna come up to guard tower 3? We have a new recruit." The fox set the radio down and turned back to the snake. "I never got your name."
I nodded quietly as he seemed to accept my answers. Or did. Then of course an armorer was to come and... Well do something, maybe armour if anything. The fox then asked for my name and I flicked my tail and nodded. "Korbin. Korbin Calry. All I should need is ammo. If any thing."

A few moments later a shark entered the guard tower, giving Jacob a salute before crossing her arms. "Im assuming you are the new recruit? " She asked, turning to Korbin. "Right, well follow me down to the armory and we'll get you set up." Annaturned on her heel and wentb back out the door expecting Korbin to ffollow.

"Well you at least have a reliable reputation. Let me see... I can cut it open and pull it out, sanitize it then stitch it."
The doctor wiped his face, relaxing his brow muscles and eyes. He then pulled out a scalpel and some pliers and tweezers.
"I'm gonna use the pliers to open the would and I'm gonna pull it our with the tweezers."

"Do as you wish," The panther said politely.

Jacob was done with me it seemed and the shark from the armory showed up. She expected me to follow and so I did keeping my tail up in the crowded place until I got out. I relaxed outside and let my tail down and showed up at the armory for. The initiate loadout I guessed.

"Alright then. I'll wipe this up first."
The doctor pulled out a cloth and dabbed it in some antiseptic, then wiping the bullet wound.
"You know.. this is dangerously close to your diaphragm. You're lucky. They could've made you less able to breathe."
"Okay, just lay down and I'll get this finished in a few minutes."
The doctor played the panther down, slightly angled upwards away from from the wound.
Taking the pliers, he opened the wound and wiped it again cleaning the blood. Afterwards he took the tweezers and began pulling out the bullet. Once he was done, he put in the tray, wiped the wound once more and began stitching it up.
"Anything else you need while you're here?" He asked the panther.

"Hmmmmm..." The panther thought a moment, "Yes, the is indeed something I could use. A drink. Yes! I can be of any quantity but a drink would be marvelous!"

"Well.. the nearest drinks are at Bar Hugo. Take a left once you leave."
The doctor finished the stitching and patted the panther's shoulder before cleaning the materials and analyzing the bullet.
"Typical worn low caliber rifle round. You're safe."

"Splendid!" The panther got up and stood up like a gentleman and bowed. "I am Face V. Samsworth."

"Oh.. much a pleasure to help, Face. I think I'll call you Sam next time I ever see you again.
My name is Doctor Strahn. But everyone calls me Doc."
Tim is sitting in the garden drinking flavored Sseltzer Water.
"Glad we have a natural seltzer deposit. So delicious!"

"A thousand appreciations, Strahn." Face said, "Well, I guess I'll be on my way." He then packed his weapons back into is trench coat and put his katana over his shoulder again. He then causally made his way to the gate to be on his way. However, since it'd been months since he'd been apart of an actual society, he decided to wander around the base instead.

The shark pulled out a key and slid it into a lock, pushing open a large steel door and stepping inside. "Here is where we jeep our weapons and armor. Since you are fresh off the streets im sure you already have a weapon of sorts, so we'll get you some ammo for those later." She stepped into a room, turning on a generator and lighting up some suits of armor. "Here at Black Corp, we use the old world riot and military gear that was left behind. Good protection, frankly though there is not enough of it to ho around, so you can only have a few peices of it." She turned around to face Korbin, letting it sink in. "Any of that interest you?" She asked.
Hacon turned to Kalan next, trying to ignore the explosions he heard in the distance. "We can talk now." He said.

Suddenly Tim heard some hooves approach him, and Emily's captive's shadow.

Borris was in his tent while all this was going on. He was hard at work mixing together some materials in order to make some C4 on a nearby table. It was a long tedious process but he enjoyed it because he knew what the reward would be. He was actually almost done as the mixture now just needed to install a timer to make it complete. "Careful...careful...done!" Borris quickly packaged it up and put the excess materials back in his backpack.
"Now what...i guess i'll go get some exercise see what people are doing." Borris grabbed his crutches and went outside.

*clop, clop, clop, clop* "Hm? Hey.. who's there?" Tim turned to see the captive and / or the horse.
"Who are you? I don't think you should be here pal... hey, weren't you with Emily?"
Tim put his water down and bit an apple, staring intently with an almost expressionless face.

The captive was a large bull, armed with a rifle aiming at Tims head.

"Umh.......what do yooouuuu.... want?" Tim had swallowed a whole bite after he saw the rifle. It hurt, but it went down.

Borris was just sort of wandering when he saw the bull holding a rifle to Tim's head. Borris pulled out his .9 pistol, his one none explosive weapon, and took aim. "Hey drop it pal! I don't want to shoot you!" Borris yelled in anger, but still was trembling.

The bull looked up, aimed his rifle at Borris, and fired.

Borris had no time to react as he took the bullet right through the gut. He stood there for a moment and holding his stomach until he collasped in a heap, bleeding prefusly.

Kalan jumped at the sound of gun fire "no no no" his first thought was that fighting had broken out between to the factions. He prayed this was not the case as he descended the guard tower.

Mags for these were what was all over my belt, but I still needed more. Suddenly I heard a gunshot and I turned and wondered what was going on. Was the range this close or something?

Suddenly, Face heard a gunshot that echoed from another part of the base. Turing his head, he perplexingly rubbed the chin of his mask and said in a polite yet devilish tone, "It seems that things have become interesting." The panther then made his way to where the gunshot originated from

He arrived at the base of the gaurd tower and was momentarily relived to see the factions were not waring, a feel quickly brushed aside when his eyes fell upon borris laying in an evergrowing pool of blood. A bull stood holding a rifle near tim no this is bad. He reached for the blade at his side but quickly thought better of it realizing the gap was too large to close.

Like a shadow, the panther went into the guard tower, where the source of the gunshot was. Face eventually peeked through a door to see the commotion that was happening. "This looks rather entertaining." Face deviously said to himself as he peeked.

Jacob was right behind Kalan, just as concerned as to what was happening. When he got there he was net with a grousom scene; Black Corp guards already surrounding the bull. "Drop the weapon!" They shouted, pointing rifles at the shooter.

The bull looked around silently, aiming his weapon at Tim.

"Come on Tim...shoot the bastard!" Borris yelled from the ground, blood dripping from his mouth. Borris tried to reach for his pistol but pulled back as from the pain. His wound was bad and borris couldn't stop the bleeding...he didn't havr long

Face continued to watch, entertained from what was happening.

The shark nodded to him and took down the bullet proof vest, then went over to a rack and retrieved the guns he requested and set the both on the table. "Alright, you are all set. Please, try not to destroy the equipment and for gods sacks dont get yourself killed."

I looked back at the counter and then the shark. "Thank you. Thisss. This is helpful." I said taking my smgs back and re holstering them. Then I took the magazines and placed them in my remaining pouches. And lastly I put on the vest adjusting all the straps I have to fit over it. I went outside after waving a goodbye and looked back to the tower to ask the fox what I would do next. I headed that way and not hearing another gunshot. I wonder what has happened.

"No problem." The shark replied as he left.
One guard shoved himself between Tim and the bull, using himself as a shield. Two other fired on the bull as soon as he turned the weapon, both shots aiming for the head.

"Oh god it hurts..." borris said still clutching his bleeding stomach.

"This is stinger 1 actual, reporting no contact in this zone. No useful supplies reclaimed as of yet." A soldier dressed in full military camouflage, with a microphone wrapped around his throat scanned the buildings around him. Most wastelanders had enough good sense not to attack him and his company of 36 men. Of course, the Heavily armored Tank they had in the center of his group helped immensely. It was an M3A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, it's undercarriage Up-armored for conflict against insurgents using roadside bombs.
There was several peculiar things about them. For one, they all wore masks, But from the shape of their muzzle, it was quite obvious that all of them were vulpine. But not a single scrap of fur was showing, not even their ears. They were wrapped in cloth.
Second, every single firearm that the group had had some sort of mesh bag hanging from it, even the immense 30mm automatic cannon on the top of the APC.
There was also not a single rip or tear on any of their gear. Though there was obvious signs of use, their gear was all in good condition, and it all matched; multicam pants, multicam combat shirt, multicam vest, multicam helmet, and multicam boots.
The squad stopped quite suddenly, seeing some sort of wolf off in the distance. The leader, his nametag was blank, aimed down the sight of his scoped rifle, examining the thing.
It was a wolf.
"You there!" A slightly distorted voice shouted over the loudspeaker on the APC
"Halt!"
The wolf complied, his feet rooted to the floor.
Two soldiers rushed forward, their rifles aimed at him.
"Who are you and what is you buisness!" One of them shouted gruffly, and the wolf, shaking with fear, spouted some nonsense about him just being a normal scavenger just like everyone else.
To which one of the soldiers delivered a heavy kick to the back if the man's knees "I said..." He pulled a .45 caliber combat pistol from a holster on his vest "What...is your buisness!"
"I swear! I'm...I'm just a scavenger! Oh god please don't kill me..."
The pistoleer simply shook
His head, and with the casual attitude of a man swatting a fly, pulled the trigger. For a split second, the thing's eyes bulged out of it's head, it's brain matter painting the pavement behind it a beautiful crimson color.
As soon as the thing slumped forward, it's backpack was quickly removed, rewarding the thirty men with three cans of food, a machete, and a small, .22 caliber pistol. A mediocre find.
They left him there for the vultures and cannibals, none of them giving it a second thought.
They were going to head to the police station of this town, take
It's weapons and armor. Of course, they had heard there was survivors there. But, they didn't care. They had the best gear in the wastes, and most importantly, a tank. More an infantry fighting vehicle, but a tank nonetheless.

Suddenly a helicopter flew overhead - a Stormwind design stolen by Emily. She hovered over the group. "You just slew one of our Scavengers - You are now enemies of the Outcasts' Alliance!"

"Ooooo!" Face couldn't help but say that out loud, giving away his hiding spot, "Things just got really fun!"

The soldiers all dived into cover, their guns pointed at the chopper. The tank rotated it's turret towards you, and simply responded by firing one of it's laser guided TOW missiles at it. Even if the chopper moved away, the laser could simply be corrected in its flight path. The main gun on the M3A3 Bradley, a 25MM M242 chaingun, opened fire as well, with M792 High Explosive Incendiary Tracer rounds (HEI-T)

The helicopter shot out a pulse blast incinerating the rocket, and tank.

"Take that chopper out!" One of the men screamed
Another one complied as all of them launched a hail of lead at the helicopter, bullets pinging uselessly of of the chopper's armor
"Javelin! Javelin! shoot the f*cking javelin!"
With a tremendous woosh, a rocket flew out of a nearby building, flying high up into the sky

Another pulse negated the attack. "You have one last chance to stand down!"
The group could hear movement all around them. "You are outnumbered five to one."

"Fall back!" One of them, he had large than average ears, shouted "set up a defensive position!" They then all scrambled into a nearby apartment complex, out of sight of of the chopper
From inside, a muffled "Cowards and traitors will be shot!" Could be heard

Face watched the battle, greatly entertained. One part of him wanted to join in.

Two foxes and a leopard entered. "You're all under arrest!"
The three all wore the same uniform.
Emily shook her head, landing.
Back at the Black Corp base the two Outcast guards still hung around, talking to others in joining their 'Alliance'.

The men simply responded by firig their rifle grenades at them. Though they couldn't travel far enough to arm the 40MM explosives, so they ended up hitti te trio really, really hard. Most likely breaking bones, even if it hit them on an armored part.

The trio pulled out old metal shield and took cover. When the smoke cleared, all that was left as a lot of armed C-4.

Kalan walked up to tim "you ok" he asked him well staring at the bull. He shifted his attention to borris "we should get him to a medic". He listened to the fire fight in the distance and we should be quick he thought

Most of the men immediately jump forward, yanking the detonators out of the putty explosive. Without the detonator that is inside the explosive, there is no possible way that it could explode. You could beat it, burn it, and even eat it (though tha obviously isn't reccomended) and it won't detonate. That was the way it was designed, after all.

Something clicked outside...
Elsewhere some of the Outcasts Alliance forces patrolled the city ruins, making there way to the Black Corps base.
Inside the outcasts began to fire at the bull, distracting it long enough for Tim to kill it.

"I'm... I'm fine..." Tim climbed up the bull and wrapped his tail around the bull's neck with the knife and plunged it into his shoulder.
He then tightly hugged the bull and pulled out the knife while upside down; he pulled his tail even tighter around its neck.
"We need the Doc and someone else who knows surgery if we are to help Borris!"

One of the Outcasts managed to help finish the bull off. One ran up, yelling "I know first aid," the other approached Jacob.

"Marvelous show!" Face finally left his hiding spot and made himself open to the rest of the people, clapping like he'd seen a great movie, "Truly, a fantastic display!"

The men breathed a collective sigh of relief;they were safe. The bomb had been diffused.
"Throw it out! Chuck the stuff!" The one with the big ears shouted "too risky to keep, let some Easter have it!" And they quickly complied
They all turned to face... Face, their weapons quickly following their goggled gaze

(nope, that was outside in the courtyard I believe.) Jacob nelt down next to borris, placing his paws over the wound to try and stop the bleeding. "Get me a medic over here!" He yelled. "Tell Doc to break into the emergency supplies!" Jacob wasnt going to let anyone else die today, not on his watch. The grayfox looked up as an Outcast approached him. "If there is something you need can it wait?" He asked.

"Oh I desire nothing, young man~," Face playfully teased as be danced like a ballet dancer towards Jacob, "I was just whatching the show the bull put and I must say, it was just marvelous!"

"Your some sick bastard then aren't ya?" Borris said weakly with a chuckle that quickly turned into a coughing fit as he choked on his own blood.

"Sick? Oh no no no my dear, I would describe myself as eccentric." The masked panther then pat Borris gently on his head and then spun away like a ballet dancer, "And for the contrary, I was sick before your doctor generously healed my wounds. Now, I feel as if I was risen from the ashes of despair and reborn a titian!"

"Killing isn't something to be excited about and you know damn strai...*grunts*" borris tried to sit up but pain instantly laid him back down.

"Let me assist you, good sir~" Face then pranced up to Borris and put his shoulder over him, helping him onto his feet. "And why would you insist that killing does not entertain me when you do not wear my mask or weald my blade?" He then asked, as if pretending to be an educated philosopher.

Borris legs felt like jelly and he fell right back on his back as he coughed up blood.

"Hm... well your no fun." Face then bluntly said. He then layed down on his belly like a teenager of his cellphone and said tauntingly, "My word, you look terrible. From the amount of blood your coughing up, you'll be dead in a matter of hours."

"Permission to shoot that t***?" the Outcast asked, while the other helped bandage Borris.

"Thank you..." Borris began to feel better as the bullet was removed, the wound cleaned and bandages were applied.

Face get up and began casually pacing, with his hands behind his back like he had nothing else to do.

Tim walked up to Borris and patted his shoulder gently. "There you are. All better and bleeding less. You almost got yourself killed."
"I can't have resources getting killed."
'My work here is done.' The Doc said. He left to his tent and put all the supplies away after cleaning some of them.
The emergency stash was gonna get low if more severe injuries occur.

"If i hadn't tried something he would have shot you in the head, i just didn't think he would shoot me while i had a gun pointed at him." Borris stiffled a smile. "You wouldn't happen to have a wheel chair now would ya? I don't think tjose crutches will be enough any more."

"I'll go see if I can find one..." Tim walked around the large camp searching for a wheelchair of some sort.
"Here Borris!!......" Tim found one being unused. It was a little torn and rusted but it served its purpose.

"Thanks, it will need some repairs later but it should be fine." Borris said and got in the chair.

"Next time, shoot before you speak.. especially if their gun is already aimed and if its bigger."
Tim said jokingly as he rubbed Borris's head. "Now, is there anything you need at the moment?"

I rolled to the side and opened my eyes. The cot was no comfortable, there has to be something better. I got up and checked my things and then went on a search for better bed until I got orders.

A large explosion was head and a building toppled, Emily just visibly parachuting towards the Black Corp base.
For an Outcast, she spent a lot of time there...

"Well first you can tell me what she's doing here again." Borris said pointing at Emily

Tim squinted towards EMily's flight path and noticed her as well.
"I can not explain that Borris.. maybe she's trying to work on an alliance? She might be serious... in fact, I think the Outcasts and Black Corp leaders are taking that guys advice."

"An alliance? After she killed your leader?" The who concept was a little confusing.

I dont undestand it either Borris... but she seemed to be not get attacked because of it though. And Jacob is kind of accepting it too.... hey, have you felt the wind lately? I haven't... I thought it would pick up like it usually does but it hasn't. I kinda dont like it when that happens."
Tim pushed Borris' chair into the tent. "This is hereby your tent as well as mine. I keep it big so air gets through and so I can breath, move around, and be comfy with all this room."

"Its nice...i'm more used to living underground but that's just me." Borris said looking around. Then he realized something. "Ah crap i left all my work down in the tunnels."

Kalan sat on a peice of ruble sharpening ryegard, he looked around surveying the base. Toghether they're a powerful unit he thought. He almost reconsider trying to bring them toghether but decided if need be he would join them. he returned his wetstone to the bag on his back and ryegard to his sheath. "Now where did jacob go" he said standing

"Borris.. you're gonna need to wait or you;ll kill yourself tryinng."
Tim sat on a pillow after handing one to Borris.

Face sat on a nearby bench and layed on it to take a nap.

Kalan came upon a panther laying on a bench. "You have you seen jacob"

"Indeed I have, young man." Face replied, "He was quite rude to me, I must declare."

Kalan stood for a moment with a look of confusion on his face. "And he was where"? He foumd no fault in jacob for being rude to this one.

"Of my knowledge, I think they took him to the infirmary to recover from his wounds. He was shot by a bull who's blood majestically stained the very ground when his friends took fire. It was a beautiful site~"

"You're a curious creature to say the least" he said as he turned and strode toward the infermary. He didnt know what the panther was about but he would worry aboit it later.

Adjusting his mask, the panther then drifted of into a deep sleep.

I found a good place to nap and planted myself down. Black Corp was turning out to be the same as being on my own except there were people that wouldn't just go ahead and shoot me. I felt pretty relaxed though with all them around. I did not sleep though.

Tim slept soundly in the tent after he closed most of it, leaving a little space for air. He couldn't stop thinking of that gun in his face.
Even in his dream he couldn't stop thinking of it. The gun sat there, frozen, lifeless, and very empty. Like a camera, his view went through the barrel and into the clip where the one bullet sat, waiting to be loaded. But the gun stayed still. It wasn't a nightmare, not yet, but it gave Tim a scare.

Borris wasn't sleeping any easier. He'd been both hit by a grenade and shot all in one day which had never happened before. He was beginning to wonder if this world would even survive much longer with all these wars going on. Eventually though he couldn't stay awake any longer and dowsed off.

Emily spent the night in her parachute, hanging from an old phone post.
She was still waiting on an answer from Jacob about an Alliance. She was serious.
And the silhouette watched...

Having failed to find jacob kalan instead found found the remnants of a window high off the ground to sleep in. His mind was a restless jumbled mess for the first time two factions were talking hope had begun to emerge. And there was this tim, the bull that was too close, tim had to be protected at all cost. With him just maybe a farm progam could be create if they could find seeds.

Jacob emerged from the police station, scratching behind his ears as he decended the steps. It was clear by the look in his face he didnt get any sleep, the meeting he disappeared to taking most of the night. He yawned and looked around, looking fir Kalan do they could finally talk.

Kalan aproached jacob fatigue heavy on his face. He was unsure whether it was worry or the hard floor he slept on that kept him up most of the night either way he found himself still exhuasted from the previous day. "It would seem we finally have time to speak" he said

Jacob nodded. "We can talk up in the guard tower." He said, turning and walking towards the large cement structure. Once inside, he sat down, trying to run the tiredness from his eyes. "So, what would you like to talk about?"

Kalan sat down in a nearby chair. "First of all is everybody alright after yesterday, second it would seem half my goal may accomplish itself that being a peace between emily and yourself if the two factions join together you would with out a doubt be a force to be reckoned with in this area which could possibly allow you to expand further out in search of fertile lands that survived the apocalypse. Being that i doubt everything is as it is here Undoubtedly farmable ground will be found and at that time tim will become invaluable, after yesterday it becomes evident that he needs protection" He leaned forward in his chair every muscle in his body burning with sleep deprivation. "I'd like to join you"

Jacob listened to Kalan, grimacing deeper when he talked about peace between the factions. The fox didnt speak until he was finished, his tail swaying idly behind him."Its good to hear Borris and Tim are ok, and believe me, they will both be safe because nothing like this will happen again, Ill make sure of it. But on the topic if faction unionship..." Jacob stopped, joining his tboughts together before looking back up at Kalan. "I was in a meeting last night with the head of each department in the Black Corporation, they have always been sort of advisors to Jax. And it was a screamfest the whole time. This situation is a big mess and their are a lot of different opinions fueled by high tensions going around, nobody could agree on anything. But there was one thing about nearly 2/3 of them wanted, one thing that would convince them to join Black Corp with the Outcats. An eye for an eye." The fox stopped and looked out the window, letting out a sigh as a battle raged on in his mind. "...they want me to kill Emily."

The words cut like a knife "surely they realize if that happens with outcast here they will have war right here inside there walls" he pondered for a moment "obviously the choice is yoirs not mine but whatever you decide i would like your permission to place myself as guard to tim"

"We've already had war within our walls, starting when the Outcasts came in and killed Jax. A lot of people here liked Jax, some even knew him personally. And thise people are scared. They are angry. Anna and Tera who run our armory almost got into a fist fight over this matter, and both threatened to leave if I didnt act one way or the other." Jacob said, shoving his face in his hands and letting out a long sigh. "And they wernt the only ones. This is going to be a lose/lose situation, because either way people are not going to be happy." He got up and began to pace, seemed lost in thought again. "Ill give you your wish, you can stay with Black Corp and watch over Tim. But if i make the wrong choice then there might not be a Black Corps to be apart of for long."

Kalan leaned back in his chair allowing the words to sink in what he had thought would bring peace now seemed it would accomplish exactly the opposite. "I can not say i understand the burdens of leadership nor would i want to" he stood up "if you'll excuse me, you have the blade at my side whatever your choice"

Emily was suddenly dragged in by a sorry-looking, heavily armored Outcast - Sire Vilo'lax.
"Jacob. I'm here to apologise over Emily's actions. It wasn't even her orders, but the Outcast Alliance general," he said, "We're wishing to speak with the Black Corps in their entirety on the matter, and all four tribes will have a representative."

"Well, i cant say you started anything less then a shit storm, but I want to talk about this. One condition though, you host the meeting here. In these times i cant afford to be away from my people." Jacob said. He took a glance down at Emily, a frownon his face. "Is she going to be alright?"

""I can arrange a meeting here," Vilo'lax replied calmly. Turning to Emily he frowned, "Emily is to remain under my protection for now."

I still could not sleep unfortunately. I stared at the darken sky and sighed. There sounded like a lot of things going on. In fact I got up and turned invisible and started following the voices not far from me. I snuck towards those speaking and continued to be very quiet.

Kalan stood at the edge of the room watching everything that was happening. Tim needed protecting that was certain but he was not about to leave jacob alone and outnumbered.

I kneeled down and used my tail as balance, still invisible. I was listening to thing the furs inside were saying. I couldn't really tell though the words were ending jumbled when they reach my ears.

Jacob nodded and let out a sigh. "Very well, Ill get the conference room ready. Kalan, could you go get Tim for me please? I need to speak to him."

as kalan headed for the door he became aware that he had his hand on ryegard, he quickly removed it realizing that it set bad precedence. He descended the stair emerging back into the outside world. "Now where is tim"

((Tim is in the his tent. Literally beside the gate. Straightforward after leaving the guard tower.))
"Urngh.... dammit. I hope the dock is up... think I got bit again.

I did not return to visible. And I stood wondering what they need a conference for. I only just joined but I wanted to know more about them. For most part it was about the well defended place to live.

Kalan walk across the base to the tent he believed to be tims that seemed a good place to look. He knocked on the tent pole "tim are you in there jacob has requested you in the gaurd tower"

"Huh?" Borris woke up from his nap.

"Alr-r-right. Bee there in a minute."
Tim stood up and shrugged off what felt to be a bite of some sort.
He then began to walk towards the guard tower. A serious look on his face, a bit unusual.

"Uh...i should get up to." Borris said as he carefully got into his wheel chair and rolled himself out.

Kalan followed behind tim his left hand on his belt near ryegard. As he walked he felt a tension grow within him, he found himself wondering if the rest of the base felt the same thing or if it was just him.

Emily stood awkwardly besides Vilo'lax in silence, looking upset. Vilo'lax looked around the tower with interest. "Your shelter is interesting. Well defended and large, I like it."

I was more in the middle of this group now. It looked like they were getting together and making a truce or something. They weren't Black Corp. which was interesting. He was certainly hoping he didn't scare or he would poor into view again. Right in the middle of the group of furs.

"Not as well defended as i had liked." Jacob said, also looking down at the compound from a window of the tower. His ears perked when Tim and the others came in, going over to his seat and once more sitting down in it. "Team, all the factions are going to have a meeting and I want you present. I could you your advice during it."

"Does that mean that things could finally go back to normal? Well...as normal as things could be in this place." Borris said as he wheeled his way to Jacob.

"Yes I'll be there. And I am here... now. So... when is it happening and will we begin preparations?"
Tim could be seen holding his shoulder.

"Whenever you are ready." Vilo'lax said.

"I would like to have it some time today, the conference room should already be relatively in order." Jacob turned to Vilo'lax. "I assume you have already talked to the Stormwinds leader?"

"Yes. They killed our emissary. We killed them." Emily stated, butting in.

"So its decided here and now. Alright since we are already here I guess we should start the meeting."
Tim sat down in the closest chair from the door and listened to everyone's answers and questions and what not.

Emily sighed, sitting down. Vilo'lax, looked to Jacob. "Does he speak for you?"

"Yes. While i am technically the "leader" of the Black Corps, Tims words basically carry as much wait as mine. And I agree wirh him, with no more Stormwind, we can just have the meeting here."

"Very well. Perhaps you noticed that our numbers increased ten-fold recently? We have allied with three clans from Outside the city." Vilo'lax stated.
"The Stormwind forces are thought wiped out, but we're not sure." Emily added.
Then the silhouette figure became noticeable to Jacob - it was back! "Do not trust them..." it warned.

"That sounds good. Well done.maybe I should find a group of farmers. A nice little farmer alliance, just a few from each sector of the clans bases. We can definitely bring about a new age if farming and defense comes first."
Tim scratched his ribs a bit before wincing. It was a simple day old cut and a mosquito bite.
It could easily be cleaned, if the doc was awake and opened his shop. It won't kill Tim but it will hurt like hell.

Kaln stood near the door and listened to the conversation. could there be a colony of farmers left, one could only hope
