Title: Something Set in Somewhere Old
Post by: Rayleonarde on December 16, 2014, 07:36:56 AM
Okay, the vague name was kind of gimmicky, but it would be the only way to get people to see this, hey? Anyway, I've been reading and watching Legend of Zelda stuff and things, and wondered if people would be interested in an RP around such. But anyway, the thought is that after evil had been vanquished by the Hero of Time, the multiverses combined, and created one world. However, as good reigned, Evil was bound to rise. Slaying beasts became a commonplace chore, and most leaned basic fighting skills. The Hero of Time, who foresaw this, left his blade to the world. Weapons created to destroy evil were forged and blessed by young heroes who wished to follow in the Hero of Time's footsteps. Heroes young and old braved dungeons, slayed monsters, and shared tales of adventure.

((I'm not the biggest fan of Character Cards/Sheets/what-have-you.  Make one if you wish, but it isn't necessary.

((Fair point. It is set in that universe, but Ganon's gone.  Anything goes, but keep it...I don't know...in the likeness of LoZ? Join as what you want.))

((Sorry I'm giving rather poor answers. I'm tired, and kind of running on fumes...I'll have a more coherent thought process 'tomorrow'.))

Alright! After a good night's rest, I figured my thought process.

So, it's set in the LoZ universe, but with more medieval stuff, reminiscent to Final Fantasy. Spells, curses, swords and shields, it's all available. But, if you specialize in magic, you won't be as strong, due to honing your mental prowess, over your physical.  If you specialize in combat, you won't be as good with magic.  That being said, you can middle of the road, or do whatever. Just...no god characters okay? Anyway, pick whatever you want, the world is your oyster.

Ray stood on a simple boat, as the warm waters of the Great Sea moved by.  He patted the thin white baton sitting on his hip, and smiled. "Which way today?" He looked around, and sat. "Not many things going on today."

Kalan sat on a crate watching the waves roll of the dock, watching the boats come and go, and watching the people go about there day. He always hated having to leave the the woods especially when it meant venturing into the world of the mortal bloods. Life was simple in the forest the elves took no more than what they could give back, here they clawed over one another trying to take every last scrap they could from each other before there short existence came to a halt. Since he had arrived the night before he had been asking himself the same question over and over again, why did i agree to this

Ray sighed, and raised the baton. The Hero of Time, who had defeated evil and passed on -so the legend say- had left his tools to those who would defend the realm. The Wind Waker, or so the legend said, would bend the winds to the will who would wield the Waker. Ray sighed, and began conducting.  Before long, the winds shifted, and pushed Ray's little vessel towards shore gently.
