Cycling RP! You are a road cyclist who has been invited to join the national team in the big city, Cerun! You've trained for years to reach this mark, but by god it's not been easy!
Now you're in the big training facility, you'll have plenty of time to get to know the cycling team you're living with! Early start though - 5:00am - but it's a small price to pay, right?
The facility is located over the edge if the city and provides many terrains to ride in!
The Northern Road is unprotected from the wind and mainly straights and flats, great for General Classification and Sprinters. The Eastern Road is kind of sheltered and leads into the mountains - Climber territory. Or the Western road is a winding road hidden in a lush green tunnel as it snakes into the woods - not bad for GC or Time Trial riders.
Will you strive to become better than the elusive Ace? Will you go your own way? Or will you ride to benefit the team as a Domestiqe?
Whatever you do, know that only five will be selected for the upcoming International Road teams - the three day Tour and the two One Day classics over two weeks, not a month after.

Bike: Rose - custom carbon road frame with unique paint job, Ksyrium Elite wheels and Shimano gear and derailleur system. Custom brakes, cleat pedals.
Reason for Riding (Optional): to savagely defeat others over and over again; to expend energy in the pitched battle of a race. He also enjoys the endorphin rush and satisfaction it gives him, as it gives him
A sense of purpose and is the one thing he doesn't instinctively hate.
The morning air was cold. The freewheel mechanism clicked rapidly as Rose's cyclocomputer registered speeds upwards of thirty kilometres per hour. The poison drinker didn't care. His eyes on the winding Western Road, AJ clicked his right hear shift twice. Behind him, his chain and derailleur tinkled and clicked into a lower gear. His timing wasn't off, and as his feet were parallel the mild strain kicked in. AJ leaned and stopped pedalling a second. He accelerated out of the corner. Beneath the lip of his helmet, his eyes were wide.
This feeling...where the bike and he were one; where neither fur nor machine began or ended...this feeling...
It was...
It was...
A feral bird flitted from one tree to another. The road was rough here. It took concentration from even elite riders to ride both quickly and safely.
AJ was grinning as widely as he was able. His breath was hot even in the cold of the early morning forest. He was sucking wind harder and faster than any ball-sports athlete.
"This feeling..." AJ growled joyously. He rounded yet another corner, sloping down. The newbies would be arriving at seven. Just in time to pull up and go wash. AJ soared into a straight, Rose's tyres rasping against the Tarmac.
"...IS EXTASY!"

Species: Raccoon
Position: General Classification, team pending.
Bike: Silver Bullet - Rusted silver alloy frame, beaten seat, and no accessory equipment to speak of. The pedals and brakes are both worn.
Reason To Ride: Coming from a broken home, and a rather poor existence, Ray found sanctuary in biking. With a drive to make his life better, Ray is willing to give it his all to win.
Ray rode peacefully on...some road he didn't recognize. It didn't bother him, he just loved to ride. The scenery, the morning air, the smell of rubber and asphalt was intoxicating. He loved to ride, and that was the extent of his knowledge.

Bike: Orion- A Red rimmed bike with oversized wheels, a black cushion, and gear shift setting. Titanium frame, flaming red pedals
Reason: To ride fast without looking back on the past
Kano yawned and scratched the back of his head, he hated mornings but loved to ride the Forest road,Orion between his legs, the birds chirping and a soft breeze ruffled his fur, "god why is it that i just cant get a break? 5:00 AM... id think that theyre trying to kill me," he said with a sly grin and a mocking tone, which he always seemed to alk with, he as usually glowered at for his sarcastic and teasing sound of speech, but he didnt care, not anymore, He put his feet on the red pedals of Orion and started off again, "faster.... faster.... faster!!!!" he kept repeating to himself as he pedaled, the wind knocking ba his hood, he smiled again and stoppepedalling for a moment just to glide along at his current speed, he then turned a knob at the end of one of the bike handles, with a few clicks the pedals offered less to no resistance now. He started again this time whirring past the winding road and tunnel, "wooooohoooo!" he laughed loudly

AJ turned.
"Woo...hoo?" He asked himself. A rider on a red bike was soaring along behind him with as much bravado in his poise as experience. AJ tapped both brakes like he hit the triggers on his new console gaming system. He shrugged his speed off and watched the feline with the huge wheels and weird gearshift.
"Aren't you one if the newbies? What the f**k are you riding!?" AJ snapped as his deceleration and Kano's acceleration brought them within earshot of each other.

Kano's ears twitched, "oh hiya!" He pulled the brakes coming to an abrupt halt, it semed ike he couldve flung forward from the halt, but he stayed in his seat, "im riding Orion.... a bike... and what are YOU riding hm?" his mocking tone prominent and sly grin playing across his face

"Something that isn't needlessly heavy. Is that PADDING on your seat!? And why are your gearshifts not on the brake levers?" AJ snapped. The forest tube rustled as the two stared at each other. AJ didn't like this guy's face or attitude.
"As for my ride...this is Rose. The bike nobody ever sees or touches outside of when I'm racing! Didn't the director warn you about us!?"

Kano put his paws to his cheeks, "oh my god im so scared someone plea- yeah i dont care" he laughed, "oh and-" he he placed a paw on the handle bar of Rose and give her a few pats, Kano then jumped onto his bike and sped off, "you know you should really work on you people skills!"

"DIE~!!!" AJ howled like a wounded animal and kicked off, pedalling like mad. He knew about the corners coming up that the freak couldn't possibly know about.
AJ clicked his gearshift up and down the cassette a he leaned through all the corners. Soon Kano was back in sight.

Kano looked back giggling, "My my might i have struck a nerve?" he yelled back to AJ, he smirked, no way is he gonna waste his energy with this guy.

AJ clicked his gears down once more and kicked, drawing level with Kano. He snarled savagely, his breathing coming faster than usual, but not as fast as it ever went...

As AJ neared Kano gave another sly grin, 'click' he sped forward gaining a bit more distance from AJ

AJ clicked his gearshift down twice more - he was halfway down his cassette now. He drew beside Kano again and flipped him the bird before clicking down twice more - which at this point was a dangerous move given the slalom of turns coming up - and accelerating. AJ threw himself with a measured violence to each side as he turned through the nasty road. He turned and saw Kano a few bike lengths behind him. Assuming the bastard couldn't corner expertly, he was going to be alone pretty soon.

Kano smiled deviously, "oh my someone is getting cocky..."
'click click click'
he rushed forward gaining up, he approached the turns and calmly shifted gears drifting slightly the rushing forward to the next turn, it was smooth and seemed like he was gliding along the path, he returned to his previous shift
'click click click'
Kano blurred past AJ then looked back at him, he pulled down on his cheek showing the underside of his eyelid, he then stuck out his tongue. He flipped up his ring finger, "you aint worthy of mah middle finger biaaaaa**h!!!" he then started really pushing it and flew along the path

AJ growled and accelerated, toying with his gears so fast it seemed unbelievable. The terrain allowed for this kind of play, and it felt great. A feral grin spread wide over the poison drinker's face. He enjoyed this kind of back and forth. He caught eventually up and sat on Kano's wheel. (Which means he rode close behind him)

Kano started taking in the feeling of going fast, "someday, ill show you all what speed really is!" he looked back to Aj and gave a somewhat soft and sincere smile, "gotta go... im hungry!!!" he turned off the trail and headed back to the main facility

AJ watched the freakish cat turn around and ride back. He stopped and thought. That guy was a freakish rider - he was certainly in the national team facility for a reason. AJ couldn't stop grinning. He had found another challenge.
"I'm going to break you, pup. And I'm going to have you working under me harder than anyone." AJ sniffed and kept going. Training was over, the fun began. Then again...
Were either so different?

Kano reached the facility and brought his bike to an opening next to the entrance, he slid his bike in, then the bike was taken in by a mechanical system and compartmentalised.
