ive been singled out for saying this before and called a non real furry
i cant wear a collar for personal reasons but im going to try again and if asked i can say it was my cats
I can't help but both loving and hating the fandom at the same time.
^ Im the same way. I just can't tell anyone. Usually.. surprisingly, not one person who I ask "You know what a furry is?" has ever said Yes.I feel you. I still haven't been able to tell anyone I know yet.
Im almost happy and relieved everytime I hear No.
Only my close friends know but I still don't run around stating my furriness. Im afraid of what people will think.
I don't hate 'em. I do, however, love messing with them and killing them in GTA. Once a whole Brony clan was hounding me, but I took 'em all out. Not that they didn't kill me a couple of times.
I secretly like Carly Rae Jepson's Call Me Maybe
Uhhhhhhhhhhh...
I discovered the fandom through the porn. I was 13 at the time.
I uhm... I crush easily. I can't help how attached I get sometimes. :$Oh my god, same!
Here's a confession-type-thing
I'm really afraid of wearing my fursuit to an event again because of the bad experience I had last time. A few people were rude to be because my suit is homemade [aka doesn't look professional] and that I didn't "act like I was supposed to," which from what I gather means I wasn't going out of my way to act like a cat? Or the fact I was talking because, last I checked, my friends don't speak feline. One person even gave me an unsolicited critique of my suit and pulled on my nose until some of the fabric around it came unglued.
I also had to take off my head a couple of times to drink water and avoid overheating [which I am prone to], but some guy came up to me during a water break and started giving me shit about "ruining the magic." There were no kids around and personally I think my physical health is more important than "magic."
Not to mention due to my disability I'm just not very good with body language or really conveying emotions well at all, but many people seem to think that you can't wear a fursuit unless you're an actor or something, so it's just frustrating when all I want to do is wear a cat costume and have fun but everyone's so quick to scrutinize and critique me.
Here's a confession-type-thingYo, haters gonna hate. I personally am not one for wearing fursuits. Ears, collar, and tail's about as far as I'll go. But, it's yo dang fursuit, man, you do what you feel like.

Here's my confession:
I love furries don't get me wrong but I'll never express that love IRL and will never confess because I fear the critism that would follow and I know how sensitive I'd get which would lead to depression and then suicide. Also if I did confess what would it mean to say "I'm a furry." to my parents? I don't have animal tendencies or anything of the sort. Last, what is a brony and what is an MLP?
I, too, am attracted to Femboys... good to know I ain't the only one. Here's my confession:

You probably know this but MLP means My Little Pony. It's a Cutesy Pony Cartton Show that even grown people watch, surprisingly.
The first few seasons were targeted towards kids but after adults began wtching it, they upped the vocab strength and changed the art style through the years.
Have I said this before?. I think I have.. but I adore Femboys and Pretty Pretty Boys. Especially the girly ones.

Yay femboys! They're very attractive beings. Anyways, my confession.I, too, am attracted to Femboys... good to know I ain't the only one. Here's my confession:

I sound white in real lifeAre you actually white, or do you just sound white? (Btw, I'm white irl)
I sound white in real life
My mate thought I might have been black before I sent her a picture of myself.I sound white in real life
Don't be ashamed Dubz Lol. People think im spanish or everything but black.
My most embarrassing moment was when my friend went on my computer and seen some ( a lot) of explicit furry things.Well, look on the bright side. At least your parents didn't catch you looking at those pictures. Or worse yet, catching you discovering their secret folder of naked pictures of themselves... *shudders as I enter flashbacks* No one should have to see such things.
Hey Azeliah, can I ask you what the answer to the math problem in your sig is? I'm trying to figure it out but I can't lol. From what I can tell, the only way for it to equal 0 is for E to the power of I times pi to somehow end up as -1
Thought I already posted this, but apparently not.
Someone earlier mentioned that they were objectively critical of fursuits, I think... I do that not only with suits, but also art and stories. When I critique, I'm also extremely blunt, so there is no way my position or what I'm saying can be misconstrued. Because of that, I rarely comment on art and stories, since I hate commenting for its own sake without any actual meat to the comment, and I know that a great deal of people interpret blunt criticism negatively. And that makes me feel like a jerk sometimes.
I know how you fell... :'(

I actually got in a bit of trouble in a creative writing class because in a critique of another student's work I said one of her characters sounded like she was ripped from the book of stereotypes, because there was nothing original about the character. Even as a main character she was pretty much the token conservative "XYZ is a sin!" Christian of the story. There was nothing more to her than that, and I got flak for saying it so bluntly. Frankly, I don't like padding critical words, because it makes me feel insincere, and as a writer or artist, you shouldn't look for blind praise. I have trouble finding people to critique for me because I hate decoding criticism to figure out what people are trying to say, and that overall is part of the reason I'm afraid to post my own stories.
I really want to be a Big Momma *blushing nervous smile*
Just without all the sass and discipline.
Cause im very nice and loving. 90% of the time.
Or so I believe....
I do have a tendency to fan gush about things if you let me. A few things happen to be, but are not limited to, almost anything related to Spyro the Dragon, Pokémon, Starfox, Dragonball/DBZ, Grand Theft Auto or Star Wars. I don't go batshit or deny faults like many fanboys/fangirls, but I sure can show how much I like it just by the way I talk.As soon as I get into something, I get really into it. I can't stop talking about it, good luck shutting me up, and I might end up annoying you. My last four things I've been really into are Chrono Trigger, Dragon Ball Z, Metal Gear Solid and Dragon Ball Z again.
Oh, also I hate pencils.
Like I hate them, they scratch and make that terrible sound and they don't feel good either. I never use pencils and avoid them like the plague!

I would cringe in school when i seen someones eraser was almost gone because i knew they were gonna do the inevitable and scrape the metal part on the paper that noise hurts my teeth
I cant sleep without my favorite collarI remember one time I put on my dog's collar, back when I had big dogs in the house. I proceeded to act like a dog, bugging the hell out of my dog's until my mom walked in the room and gave me a weird look. I kinda just sat there in an awkward silence until she left.
I have ~14 collars. You are so lucky. Where do you usually go to get your collars?
My fav ones is a plain black leather one, a brown leather one with metal pawprints on it, a spiky black leather one and a black nylon one with a green LED-strip in it.
^i can't touch paper after my hands have gotten wet XD
And i like Starship Troopers too ;) guilty pleasure

In contrast, any sleep I get without someone else in my bed leaves me as exhausted as I was pre-slumber. I need another heartbeat.I almost never feel fully rested when I wake up, no matter how much or how little I sleep. However, I still need to sleep next to my better half, otherwise I'll have trouble going to sleep and I won't wanna wake up.
*hand you a condom* Be safe my friend
i think i have a boyfriend :3I'm so happy for you! Good luck ^-^

I may be in this same boat....how I got into the fandom actually but I try to not look at it much anymore since I now have a better understandng and appreciation for this fandom.
I actually really don't like fursuits. And I think its silly to act like an animal(but I still do unintentionally act like an animal. I just do not crawl around on all fours and growl or hiss at people you know?). I just really love the art and idea. Plus the awesome people in the fandom.I want a fursuit, I love acting like an animal, though I scale it back when i m around my friends. And I'm in love with the art. Being in the furry fandom makes me feel at home, like my true self gets to come out
A big reason i got into the fandom was the porn...Come for the porn, stay for the incredibly friendly and supportive community.
I get on people who use Gay slurs, but back off when somebody makes a joke about me being gay, feel like being discovered would kill me D:
sometimes i refer to my hair as my fur :$

I don't feel the need to identify with a fursona anymore. I think I started doing it because it was just something I saw so many others in the fandom do, like it was required or something. Somewhere along the line I stopped caring, and now I associate with other furs based on the furry interests I've acquired. I still have characters I use for RP or whatever, but eh. It's gotten me into some "trouble" with certain furs that think of me as mundane for not having a 'sona, but the arguments we got into were so silly looking back on it that I'm kind of glad it all happened. Not every furry needs a fursona. It can be a fun part of being a fur, but don't feel bad, or let someone make you feel bad, for not wanting to have one. Everyone is different ^_^
Only one person knows about my fursona. That's my ex-girlfriend. Unfortunately we are not together anymore and I'm not really sure how to bring it up to my current girlfriend.Maybe you could start by casually showing her some furry artwork, just act like it's no big deal. Then if she likes the art, you can tell her that you made up a character of your own.
As a joke I always say that someones fursona is a vegetable if they don't have one, it's just jokes though XD
For example, a syd fur named Andreas doesn't have a fursona so I say he's a potato xD
I don't like ponies. Don't get their appeal at all. I gave them a try, twice. Couldn't get into it.Same same SAME!

I've never bought a single fursuit item myself, but I own a professionally made fursuit. x3
I want one! Give me one!I've never bought a single fursuit item myself, but I own a professionally made fursuit. x3
This statement is now false. Today I bought a fursuit and brought it home. <3
I have an overwhelming desire to get a pawprint tattooed onto my body.
I'm thinking of putting it on the back of my right hand.I have an overwhelming desire to get a pawprint tattooed onto my body.
I've been thinking of doing this for a while. I would probably get it on my torso somewhere.
The fandom, in my earlier years of being a part of it, lead to a nasty habit I had of getting too attached to anyone who was overly nice to me, leading to several.. Unsavoury relationships. It's taken quite some time to regain control and realise that about myself.
