Back when I was here six months ago, there was a small RP with a pretty chill guy that involved a small neighborhood and the families in it. We had our fun in that short period of time, but when I left, it disappeared ;-; So here I am trying to bring that fun back, even considering how short lived it was. This time, I think it could be totally cool to have it being more inclusive, not that it wasn't back then. Anyone can join and it is encouraged that you do so! I'm hoping to bring enough people in that we establish a nice community of roleplay in the neighborhood.
So this /is/ serious and I hope everyone respects that, however we can have fun if everyone cooperates and gets along. Rules are as follows:
- Refrain from short and non-serious posts. Try to include detail so confusion doesn't ensue.
- You may use OOC in this, but please mark it with ((<message>)) so we know what it is.
- Sexual roleplay is allowed but needs to be kept in private messages. You can go to the room or alley, then switch to private and keep it there until you're done.
- Characters need to be somewhat realistic guys. Don't give yourself an armory of nuclear weapons and ninja skills, just be a fun character! This is more or less passive based roleplay and I intend to leave it like that. (Although we will have occasional events if this gets more people)
So, now that we have this out of the way... Let's go!

Mason lays at the end of the couch, his legs bent and hanging off the armrest with his head facing up at the ceiling fan, watching it spin. He folds his arms behind his head and sighs, closing his eyes and resting for a moment. He sits up and hops off the couch, walking over to the window and pulling up the blinds, looking out to the street at the other houses while wearing his usual shorts and t-shirt.

Leon sat in his bed, tired. He had finally home from a long day at work as a private security contractor. He prevented some punk from stabbing a guy and then had to chase after him. The tackle had irritated an old wound that he had received in his tour of the army as 'captain Naismith.' , engineer officer, commander of a Bradley IFV. He pulled the covers over himself slightly more, and attempted to sleep.

Mason shrugs and opens his front door, stepping out and closing it behind himself. He walks over to the garage and opens it, stepping inside and grabbing a chair from the back. He walks out to his driveway and places it down, looking up at the sun and sitting down in the chair. He sighs and closes his eyes, resting for a minute and enjoying the warmth and comfort.

I wake up in my bed the sheets covered the floor, Ben liked to sleep and was... Active when he did so. I stretch for a moment before hopping out of bed sliding open a drawer on his dresser. He pulls out a pair of boxers and slips them on. I walk to my front door and throw it open walking to the end of my driveway still half naked to grab my paper

Fred ambled on back to his apartment. He was tempted to examine the plants in everyone's garden as he passed by, but the old lady who'd chased after him with a stick last week made him think twice. Class had been boring. The lecture was a full three hours, and the teacher's voice droned. Luckily that course was but once a week. Tomorrow would be another day with the landscapers, hauling mulch and planting spruce trees, likely. It was hard work by times, but the sort of thing he was used to. The fresh air was a nice bonus..
Speaking of air, he could smell someone barbecuing just down the block, reminding him of how close supper time was.
Not but a few minutes later he arrived at his apartment. Stepping inside, he dropped his schoolbag, and starting prepping something quick to eat.
Just as dark began to fall, he went over to his computer. Video games were tempting, but he'd best put out an ad for a roommate. He'd delayed that long enough. It didn't take long to finish, either. Stretching back in his chair, he sighed. "And now we wait.."

Mason looks over to Ben as he gets his paper, looking down at his feet when he notices his clothes - or lack thereof. He looks around the lot for any other activity, sighing at the nice weather.

I grab the paper and see Mason looking at me I smile and wave at him slightly "hey there" I shout outing the paper under my arm before walking over to Mason "hey I don't think we've met before... Uh... I'm Ben, and you are?" Puts out a paw with a smile my fur waving in the slight breeze that blows through the culdesac

Penari finish cleaning up her practice and locks up. She walks home as it was only a couple blocks away. On her way she notices a guy sun-bathing and someone talking to someone else wearing nothing but boxer shorts.
She locks herself into her new apartment and takes off her jacket. Walking towards the kitchen she wonders when Kitt, her new roommate, will be home.

Kitt leaned back in his seat, letting the breeze play through the open car window as he signalled and turned into the cul-de-sac. He had the address to a house written down in front of him, the girl who owned the place had given him it over the phone, his new housemate if all went well. He sighed, it would be good to stay in one place for more than a few weeks.
Driving through the small community of houses and flats the feline caught glimpses of the locals, several out sunbathing, relaxing in the sun, or in the case of one guy taking an interest in the various gardens outside each house. Kitt passed the guy by with a curious glance and finally pulled up along the curb outside the address. The engine rumbled into silence and he stepped out with several bags. The old 80's era Russian car, a dark blue Volga Gaz-24, looked out of place amongst the modern houses and cars. Kitt slammed the door shut behind him and hauled his few possessions up to the front door of the house and knocked.

Penari opened the door "yes, hello? Oh you must be Kitt!" She said as she noticed all his stuff. "Let me help you with some of that" she said and picked up something without waiting for and answer. She started walking towards what was going to be his room "it ain't the biggest place, but there's room enough for two don't cha think?" She stopped to open the door into the room before continuing. "There ya are!" She dropped his belongings on the bed. It was a simple box-bed placed up against the white wall. "Do what you like with the room, but any changes to the rest of the house should be discussed with me first" it seemed as though she never stopped talking. "Also I call dibs on the bathroom in the morning" she said and winked at him. "Any more stuff outside?" She asked him.

Mason looks up to notice Ben approaching. He gives a small wave, "Hey there Ben." He stands up and places his hands behind his back, holding them there as he speaks. "I'm Mason..." He looks around with an awkward expression due to your clothes. ((I'm pretty much wearing what my avatar is wearing))

Charlotte hugged Leon under the covers, trying to keep warm. She groaned. "Lee... Are you awake?" She said, almost falling back asleep due to the fact that she hadn't had a lot of it in the first place.

Kitt almost jumped when the door was swung open and a leopard practically bounced into view, scooping up his belongings with a cheery smile and instant conversation. "Uhh... Hi?" He finished lamely, tail swishing as he followed her into the front room. "Yeah that's me. You must be Penari? We talked on the phone..." The wildcat followed behind her as she lead them through the small but comfortable house, finally reaching what was to be his room. He stopped and glanced around, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck with one paw, as his tail swished over the floor. "What? Oh, not really. Just a couple of things in the car." He met her gaze and smiled sheepishly in return. "Looks good, and it's roomier than the last place I had."

"Well..." Lee grunted, snuggling up to her, and nuzzling up to her neck "I am now... But I'm glad I'm with you! So, what's keeping you awake?"

"I can't figure the ending to my book out... The characters are held at gunpoint, gagged and bound... They have no way of escaping and my publisher wants a happy ending but also wants me to keep the current situation." Charlotte sighed. "Publishers are so difficult to deal with..."

"Yeah... Publishers are a bitch."Leon nods, contemplating the problem "the best way I can think of is somebody saws their bindings away... Like on a pipe they're binded too. Or some sort of outside intervention...sound good?"

Charlotte sat up and yawned. "One of the guards may need to be revealed as a double agent... But I suppose it'll work."

I watch a bit confused as you stand awkward looking around I think for a moment and blush slightly "oh god I'm so sorry...... Uh... Stay here I'll be back in a minuet" I back up a bit before turning around running back to my door struggling to get the key in the door and open it I finally get it open and run to my room pulling some pants and a shirt out puttin them both on quickly before running back out the door to Mason "heh.... Uh... I'm sorry about that"

Leon nods "yes, that could work... Just make it good, yeah? Don't want it to be some crappy cop-out. But you're a good writer... You can do it!" He then promptly pulled the covers back over himself, and began snoring.

"We'll then let's go grab 'em, yea?" Penari said and headed out of the room "glad you like it, I'm not quite finished unpacking me self yet, but this is the living room" she made a gesture around them "and over there is obviously the kitchen" she pointed at the corner on the right side of the front door where there wasn't much but a fridge at the moment. "I thought I'd make it like one of those fancy, how do you say it, conversation kitchens?" Her African accent got thicker and thicker as she spoke "that door over there" she said pointing at the first door left to the front door "leads to the bathroom, and the next one is my room" she smiled and opened the front door for him to walk through.

Kitt kept following behind Penari as she gave him the grand tour of the house. His tufted feline ears pricked up curiously as he caught her warm accent, glancing from the small kitchen as she pointed it out to the last few rooms. Kitt's own accent was fairly mild, a mix of British and slight Eastern-European, and he smiled sheepishly as he replied. "Yeah, you definitely found a nice place. Should be good once it's completely done up."
He mumbled thanks as she let him back out the front door into the warm afternoon sun. Walking down the drive to his Volga Kitt opened the car door. The old russian car creaked and rocked on its suspension as the feline clambered over the back seats, reaching for two large cardboard boxes. His thick striped tail flicked back and forth agitatedly over the back of his jeans as he struggled to pull them out. One box was labelled vaguely as 'books', definitely the heavier of the two, and the other 'Games & stuff'.

Penari couldn't help but focus on his flicking tail, and therefor her eyes obviously also decided to look at his behind. She blushed and quickly walked over next to him. She grabbed one of the boxes, it was labelled books "you're a reader eh?" She asked as she noticed the label.

"Huh?" Kitt glanced up hurriedly at Penari's question and banged his head on the low ceiling of the car."Yow... Oh, yeah I guess I am." He felt a hot flush rising up his cheeks, but was surprised to see Penari blushing slightly as well as he looked at her sheepishly. "I seem to have ended up with quite a collection of what I've read over the years." Picking up the last box Kitt slammed the door shut with a bump of his hip. "Thanks for helping me move my stuff in."

Penari started walking into the apartment again as she replied "no problem, I think it's important to help each other and to get a great start with my new roomie" she laughed a little. The tip of her tail flicked from side to side every time she took a step. "I was thinking of getting a pet, are you allergic to anything?" She looked at him from over her shoulder as she kept talking "I was thinking of a cat, one of those that needs a new home. Back home I took care of a wild cat and it took a liking to me for some reason, so I couldn't set it free because of how tame it had become. We named her Upendi, she had a tiny spot that looked like a heart you see" She suddenly realized how much she was talking and shut up. She dropped the box next to the other stuff.

Mason laughs, "That's fine... No big deal. So how're you doing?"

Kitt walked behind Penari back into the apartment, his eyes following each flick of her tail distractedly. At the question about allergies he glanced up and grinned, laughing in return. "It would be kinda ironic if I was allergic to cats, don't you think?" Still grinning he dropped the second box down beside all his belongings and straightened up, tail swishing over the floorboards. "No, I'm not allergic... And I always liked adopting rescue cats, too many owners leave pets after not treating them right. So it's nice to give them a proper home." He glanced across at Penari and smiled shyly, noticing she seemed to have gone quiet for the first time. "Well, that's everything moved in I guess..."

I blush slightly and rub the back of my head smiling to myself slightly " oh I'm good....... How are you?" I ask still smiling. I start thinking to myself and end up saying it out Lou without noticing it "heh he's pretty cute"

Mason looks at you somewhat oddly, "What? Sorry I couldn't hear you." He chuckles slightly, somewhat embarrassed.

Penari laughed a bit "well obviously you're not allergic to cats, but you might have been allergic to birds or something" she said rolling her eyes in a funny way.
"I'll go look at a cat tomorrow then, no reason to wait right?" She said as she walked towards the kitchen. As she opened the fridge she asked "anything you want? We have um.. Water.. Omg I'm so sorry! I forgot to go shopping" she made a funny whoops face. "Take-out? I'm starving! How about you?" Se asked with a smile and closed the fridge.

Kitt grinned at her expression, laughing as well. "Yeah, that's true." Still grinning he followed her through to the kitchen and nodded in reply. "Sure, local pet rescue centre should have some in need of a home." He watched as Penari looked through the fridge, and at her exclamation of no food in the house Kitt couldn't help but grin as she made a silly 'whoops' face. "Sure, I love a good take-out!" He replied, tail swishing.

I quickly place a paw over my mouth blushing heavily. I take my paw Off my mouth shyly "I... Uh... Said that out loud didn't I?" I look at the ground slightly embarrassed "sorry about that..." I look back up at you slightly

Acon walked down the sidewalk with her camera in her paws. Her hooves clicked against the sidewalk as she moved, snapping pictures of bright flowers and wonderful houses.

"Super!" Penari grinned and took a flyer from the door of the fridge. "Here you look through that" she said and handed him it. "This times on me" she winked. She walked of to the bathroom "be back in a sec" she said before closing the door behind her.

Kitt took the flyer and nodded as Penari walked off. "Yeah, sure." He turned and leaned on the kitchen sideboard and rifled through the take-out food... It looked really good actually, some local place he'd never heard of. His tail swished excitedly as he looked through the lists of food. A faint growl from his stomach made his ears flatten down sheepishly, he was hungrier than he thought.

Acon sat herself on a bench and pulled her knees up under her chin. She watched the people pass by, some smiled some didn't.

After chatting with mason for a few minuets I begin to walk home but I pause at the door and see a woman sitting alone on a bench her knees tucked up under her chin I turn and walk towards her with a smile on my face. I get in front of her and start talking to her, "Hi there, I'm Ben. You are?"

Acon looked up at Ben and smiled. "I-I'm Acon. Nice to meet you." She extended a paw.

I smile warmly and take your paw shaking it slightly, "It's quite the pleasure, Acon" I smile a little bit "so... Uh if your not busy... Ya know would you like to... Go to dinner or something with me sometime?" I smile a bit

Acon's ears perked and she tilted her head. "Oh... uh, sure! I'd love to." She returned his warm smile. "When and where?"

I look slightly surprised then smile happily "Uh... What's your favorite kind of food? And uh we could go now if you'd like" I smile brightly sit down next to you

"Hmm..." Acon thought a moment. "I really like French cuisine." She looked up at Ben hopefully. "I heard there's this new place that opened up last week. C-can we?"

I smile and wait for your response I smile when you answer "that's sounds great, I suppose that means we shod get a little dressed up then" I smile a bit "It's a shame you missed my formal uniform" I laugh slightly

Acon nodded with a small smile. "F-formal uniform? Are you in the army or something?" She didn't want to sound dumb, but figured there was no way to skirt around it.

Mason waves goodbye to Ben and sits back down in his chair, a bit embarrassed but otherwise satisfied with his morning. He sits back and sighs, watching the activity of the area.

I smile a bit "well I was in the army but I'm not anymore" I shove my paws in my pockets and smile a bit "so uh where's your house so I can come pick you up after I get changed"

Acon looked behind her and pointed down the street at the lime green house at the end of the Cul-De-sac. "It's that green one back there, can't miss it."

Penari came out from the bathroom, though it seemed she had tried to brush her fur a bit, she looked rather fluffy for a leopard.
As she walked over to Kitt she asked him "have you chosen something?"

Kitt looked up as the bathroom door opened, catching sight of Penari over the take-out flyer. He grinned slightly, had she brushed her fur? - it looked rather fluffy and plush, with her mottled pattern of leopard spots. Kitt suddenly realised he was staring and glanced back down, a warm flush spreading across his cheeks as he replied. "How about we get a couple of pizzas? Unless there was something else you were thinking of?" He glanced up at her again and smiled, his tail swishing.

I smile and look over my shoulder Seeing the lime green house I look back to Acon "ok sounds good I'll be by to pick you up" I stand from the bench and walk off towards my home. I walk up the sidewalk and up my porch steps to the front door. I put the key in the key hole and turn it opening the door after taking the key and pocketing it. I walk inside and go to the bedroom examining my closet for something nice.

Acon ran home to shower, put on make up, and rifle through her closet. After a while, she found a crimson strapless dress and slipped it on. She admired the way it hugged her slender form in the mirror as she put a few clips in her short, aqua-blue hair.

I find an old suit and put it on with a smile I grab a tie and tie it pushing the knot up to my neck. I straighten it and walk to the bathroom brushing my teeth. I spit and look up into the mirror checking my teeth for a moment before walking to the garage picking up my keys on the way I hop into my charger and open the garage door driving out closing it behind me. I pull into Acon's driveway and get out walking up to her door knocking a couple times on it.

Acon ran to the door and strappy high heels. When she opened the door, she smiled brightly at Ben. "H-hi. Wanna come in for a moment? I'm almost ready."

Penari blushed slightly when she noticed Kitt was staring at her.
"pizza was just what I was thinkin'!" She replied and took out her cellphone from the right front pocket of her jeans. "Which number do you want? I'll have number 11, the triple meat thingy" she said and smiled as she started dialing the number from the flyer. The tip of her tail flicked from side to side.
((I haven't mention any type of clothes before right? Well she's wearing blue jeans that's a bit used and a very low cut black top))

I smile when I see Acon "uh yeah sure thing" I step inside the door amazed at how beautiful Acon looked I stand just inside the door my hands together behind my back

Acon smiled at Ben one more time before she ran off to fetch her jacket, purse a little bit of money and a prophylactic just in case. 'Can never be too prepared.' She thought to herself. When she came back to the front door, she smiled at Ben, studying him a moment. "Ready?"

"Yeah, I'm ready" I open the door for Acon with a smile after she walks out I do the same closing her door behind me. "So how do I get to this restaurant" I ask as I unlock the car door

Kitt grinned and nodded, his tail swishing as he answered. "Double pepperoni for me, I'm starving." He glanced shyly across at Penari as she ordered the take-out, watching the tip of her tail as it flicked back and forth against her denim jeans. He leaned back against the kitchen side and stripped off his jacket, revealing the white fur of his belly for a moment, then quickly pushed his t-shirt back down. He showed some obvious relief without the jacket on, while the shirt was a typical black affair bearing the faded Pink Floyd logo.

Mason looks up at the sky, noticing the sun moving down to show it's clearly past noon, maybe about 6 or 7 o'clock. He stretches after his nap in the chair and places it back in the garage, walking back inside and stepping into his room. He opens his bag and removes a book and spiral, flipping to a page and taking notes from the textbook titled: "The Feynman Lectures on Quantum Physics, Volume III." He takes a pen from a cup on the side of his desk and begins to write key notes down into the spiral, checking over the information as he does so.

When Penari had ordered the pizzas she noticed how Kitt was leaning against wall "I'm sorry I haven't really bought much furniture yet" she said and smiled excusing "you can sit on the couch if you'd like" she pointed towards a lonely couch standing in the middle of the living room. "I have to go get some stuff ready for work tomorrow, I'll be back out when the pizzas arrive" she said as she walked towards her room.
In her room, which was a little bit bigger than Kitts, there was a double bed with bedside tables, a closet and a writing desk with a stationary computer. The room was a bit messy, some clothes was laying on the bed and the floor and she had small things decorating the tables and the windowsill, a couple plants too. The walls was white except for the one the bed stood against which was a sandy color with some large sandy grass painted on it so that it represented the savanna. The writing desk was white with a black chair, but the bed and the bedside tables were of some beautiful wood.
She sat down in her chair and turned on the computer, there was a white lamp next to her desk which she also turned on. When she looked around in her room while the computer was starting up, she felt a bit silly, that she had been so busy moving into her room that she hadn't moved anything into the rest of the house.

Kitt smiled in return and shrugged. "Don't worry about it, you already have more furniture here than I actually own." He chuckled, tail swishing happily as he walked over to his room as well. Kitt however only dropped in briefly, searching through his bags until he found a laptop and went back through into the living room, collapsing onto the couch with a sigh. The feline stretched laboriously and powered up the laptop. He lay back on the couch as he started sorting through emails, they'd piled up a bit while he'd been moving. There was some work he had to do, but it could wait a while seeing as the client didn't need the artwork for a few days at least, so he was still sorting through emails and just relaxing when the pizza delivery rang at the doorbell.

David stands at the door with a black bag in his hands, on top of it is a small device similar to a calculator to help with card purchases. He smells the warm pizza through the bag and box, waiting for the home owner to open up.

Penari ran out of her room with her wallet in hand. She opened the front door and smiled "yummy! How much?" She asks the delivery guy enthusiastically.

David stood at the door smiling, "Uh, sorry could you hold the boxes just for a moment?" He hands them to you and takes his calculator from the top, looking at the screen. "$19.98" He places it back on the black bag with the boxes inside and takes it back, opening it and slipping a pizza box out and handing it over to you.

Kitt looked up at the sound of the doorbell, jumping to his feet to join Penari at the front door. His tail swished happily at the smell of the pizzas through the boxes. As the delivery guy handed over the boxes Kitt took them, letting Penari keep her hands free for her wallet. He gave the delivery guy a smile. "You guys sure deliver quickly, I'm impressed."
((Go for it with that kinda stuff If ya want Cfitz, is a shame to be left alone... maybe you could get more involved with us moving into the neighbourhood with your actual character or something? :) ))

David shrugs, smiling. "Well, we're not all that far away. We're set up in the town just across the street from this neighborhood." He holds his black bag of other pizzas down at his stomach waiting for payment.

"thanks Kitt" Penari mumbles as she is having a small fight with her wallet. She finally gets her paws on some cash and hands the delivery guy $20 "just keep the change" she says smiling a bit silly. She seems to be a bit off into her own mind all of a sudden, as she close the door. She sits on the floor and empties her wallet out onto the floor. "where is it?" she mumbles distressed. "Have you seen a simple golden ring with a small stone Kitt?" she asks and looks up at him, with a somewhat begging expression.

Kitt set the boxes to one side in the kitchen. Turning round he caught sight of Penari sitting on the floor, pawing through the contents of her wallet. "Uhm, a ring?" Kitt glanced round, unsurprisingly the ring she described wasn't anywhere to be seen. "No... No I haven't seen a ring like that since I got here." He met her expression, almost begging she seemed so distressed at the prospect of losing the ring. Kitt immediately started looking around. "I'll help you look for it, can't have gone far."

Zireous was looking over his the neighborhood. He finally made enough money to buy a small house for himself. After the moving crew came in and put all of his stuff into his new house. He took his sweet time to unpack it all. Not like he had that much anyways. When he was finally done all he can think about how lonely he is. ''Funny Zireous your in a good house, have a nice paying job,but at the end of the day your still alone.'' He went outside with his normal outfit[which he was wearing in the move] Was black cargo pants, army boots, MMA gloves, a white under shirt, and grey jacket. He saw some neighbors, but he'll talk to them later. Right now hes getting on his dirt bike, and pedals to the local supermarket.......

((I would use the one that you use the least)) Zireous was back home with some food, however today was different. Henwas mad not at himself but he was mad that three punks were picking on this nice lady. Sure I beat the crap out of them, but it was still wrong. And very thought of it just made him want to hurt someone...But he knew that wouldn't get him any were.... But he couldn't help but to put a hole in his bedroom wall.... At large, empty mansion located on the top of a fenced in hill, three moving trucks pulled up in front of the building along with a black luxury car with a blue "T" on the hood of it. When the trucks stopped, the movers began to bring in expensive furniture and items into the mansion. as they were doing that, an elderly beaver in a black tuxedo came out of the car to open the front passenger seat, allowing a seven foot velociraptor to step out of it. The velociraptor had yellow scales and thick black stripes and wore a black suit. He had a stern, cold look on his face. Without a word, the velociraptor went to the pack seat where his daughter sat, blindfolded. After gently leading her out of the car, her father gave her a warm hug before say to the beaver, "Bring her inside." with that, the beaver began guiding his daughter to the mansion. His daughter was also a velociraptor, but had only yellow scales and wore tan jeans along with a light pink T-shirt. She was also much less intimidating than her father, since her claws looked to be filed. But as the beaver guided her to the mansion, blindfolded, her body was shaking nervously, as if she was afraid of the outside...

After his slumber. Zireous awoke, with his eyes in a little pain. When his eyes could see, he saw he was in his house. With at least ten holes in his bedroom walls. He got up to do his morning chores and what not. When he was done after cleaing up his living room. He thought now was a good time to check out his neighborhood. He didn't want to be creepy about it soo. He would make up the excuse 'Oh hi. What's your name?'' While he was doing his morning jog. Since he loves being the big strong guy, which meant he had to keep in shape. So when he had his sweats, and jogging hoodie. Then his running shoes on him. He started on his way around the neighborhood waiting to meet someone......

Furme leaned back in his recliner his feet and tail dangling over the sides as he bobbed his head to the rap music playing through his earbuds. His windows are broken but the curtains are closed rendering it dark save for the light shining through them as a light breeze moves them. There are multiple takeout boxes scattered across the floor and table. He gets up from his recliner with a slight grunt and walks to the table through the boxes, grabs a corn dog from another box and slides it off the stick with his teeth, eating it in one bite. He walks to the fridge and grabs a full jug of milk and drinks half of it straight from the jug finishing with a loud belch.
"Ahh delicious!"
He walks outside still wearing his torn white T-shirt and ripped jeans from last night, and throws a paw over his eyes as he's nearly blinded by the light. He looks around to see if anyone is out and about.
