A world with a secret society of scientists who pick up on the things the other guys leave behind due to laws that prohibit the study of the abnormal; magic, conspiracy, the supernatural, etc. etc. The society has small ties to the mob and often work with major crime families. It resides most in Silver Moon; a city that sits on the edge of an ocean that remains nameless.
OOC is allowed, and you don't have to be a scientist in the society. Powers are allowed, gods are allowed (if you're a god, you better believe your getting tested on) cursing is allowed, just don't get crazy with it.

Powers: is host to a negative flame parasite that allows him to exhibit some phenix abilities just ridiculously cold as a pose to ridiculously hot.

Acon strode through the halls of the rundown university with a spring in her step and a light smile on her cheeks. Her long, neon colored hair flowed behind her like a cape in the wind.

Aakor was sat in an isolated room with heating, He had recently lost his temper and froze a colleague, His fur was light grey with areas being a darker shade and red tribal markings reminiscent of tiger stripes.

Acon skipped as if she was dancing to music. Her black and white striped suit stood out as she passed by seemingly abandoned rooms. Her outfit was clearly made for the female form, tight and clinging to her curves as if the suite was made for her and her alone. The black converse she wore clicked on the ground as she moved. Acon passed a particular room that caught her eye, so she stopped and peered in at the fur who sat in there. She could feel the heat rising from under the door.

I woke up and saw someone out side the window. "Who the?" As I talked a cold steam came from my muzzle. "Huh guess I haven't quite calmed down yet."

Acon watched with awe, her eyes wide as she studied the fur from the window of the door. "Incredible." She whispered to herself.

I sighed and laid back down. "I really need to get a hold over my abilities."

Acon wondered if the fur was a test subject or the one doing the testing. She was about to open the door, but thought against it and knocked instead.

I looked back over to the door and noticed the other fur still standing there. "Ugh. COME IN!" I shouted as I froze the lock on the door making it easier to brake open.

Acon kicked open the door and strode in, looking around for any tells on the fur's position. "My my." She sniffed the air as the mixture of heat and cold bit at her nose.

"Hey. I'd suggest you don't try anything stupid." I got up and walked over to the opposite side of the room trying to keep clear of anything bad that might happen.
OOC: Aakor is a test subject.

Acon smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it." She got down on her paws and knees, examining the floor. "So, who's your handler?"

"Umm he was that guy." I point towards the frozen fur on the other side of the room. "I was working with him to try and work out how to control my 'out bursts' as you can see it didn't go to well."

Acon looked at the frozen fur with a raised brow. She stood and walked up to him with slow amusement crossing her lips. She poked the frozen man and found herself dancing from foot to foot in delight. "You are beautiful! I must know how you work!" She squealed, ripping the clip board the frozen guy had in his paws out of his chilly grasp and leafing through the papers.

"Huh I'm surprised he didn't..." The frozen fur then shatters into a million pieces. "...nope never mind" I laid back down again.

Acon kicked a chunk of shattered fur from her and took a seat on the floor. "That fool. I will be your new handler." She announced. "Our conflicting abilities will work fine together."

I sit up again and say "conflicting?" Then tilt my head.

Acon nodded. "Conflicting." The clip board melted in Acon's paws.

"How bad does yours get?" I got up and walked closer leaving a trail of dry ice in my wake.

Species: Raccoon.
Job/Main Subject of Study: Hops around various subjects, jack-of-all-trades style.
Personality: Cheerful, keeps most lines blurred, is indifferent over most things. Morality doesn't really apply to him.
Powers: Shadow manipulation.
Crime Family: Does work for whoever.

Acon smiled and placed a paw on her chest. "My heat will prevent you from accidentally freezing me."

"I'd guessed that." I continue to walk closer.
OOC: Aakor has nothing on except for a pair of pants. The rest of it just crumbled when he lost control.

Acon crossed her long arms over her chest. "Yes. I will handle you, my subject, with care." She went over all the fun she would have. She adjusted her jacket collar.

Ray woke up in his cell, and rubbed his eyes. The light in his room left no room for shadows, leaving him stuck in there. He waited for someone to come get him, as he paced around the room.

Acon stood and remembered the reason she came back to the university. She walked out of the room she was in and down the hall. She knocked on the other fur's door with a smirk. "Hello!"

I shortly followed and peered through the window.

Ray waved. "Hello. Can I come out yet? Or is the exposure experiment still running?" He was getting bored, drawing shapes and such in the wall. Ray had already completed seven sudoku puzzles, and more than twenty games of tic-tac-toh.

Acon brought out a ring of keys and looked for the one with this subject's room number on it. She unlocked the door and pulled it open with a warm smile. "Where is YOUR handler, or did you kill him too?"

Ray sighed. "For the last time, I didn't kill my handler, he killed himself." He remembered how he terrorized his handler by making images in the shadows, until the poor handler committed suicide from lack of sanity.

"Hey you're the guy that can control shadows right?" I say as I walk into the room now wearing a pair of dark grey skinny jeans.

Acon laughed. "Whatever you say. Where are you to be now?"

Ray shrugged again. "I'm pretty sure Mr. Von Braun left the clip board on the door."

"Who me or him?" I gesture to the only other male fur in the room.

Acon picked up the clip board and studied it. "Both of you."

"I have no idea where I'm meant to be." I wonder over to the make fur "so what's your name?"

Ray points towards the door. "Should say there." He continued to walk around, bored.

Acon threw the board away from her and smirked. "I'm hungry. Let's go get lunch." Acon crossed her arms and went down to the mess hall of the building.

Ray sighed. "Well, I guess I'm stuck in here." He looked at the other subject. "What's your name?"

"It's Aakor. You know like the mythical wolf with wings."

She stopped in her tracks and passed an uncaring glance to both subjects. "Excuse me! Let's get a move on!" She called.

Ray pressed his face against the door, and shook it. "It's locked, miss. Besides, I'm not supposed to eat." He looked back at Aakor. "Well, Aakor, I'm Ray. Though, I'm not sure what you mean."

Acon rolled her eyes and stomped back to the door, kicking it in. "There. You don't have to eat anything, but I want to."

"He has a point miss. And an Aakor is a creature of myth that has been described as being a wolf with wings. Unfortunately I had mine amputated." I turn my back to Ray so that he may look for the scars.

Acon flipped a strand of hair from her face as she moved through the halls. Several men and women in stereotypical white lab coats shuffled about more frequently as she strode further down the way.

Ray nodded. "The last time I had surgery...well...I-It didn't go well." He sighed, and sat down on the bench in his room. Ray wasn't about to follow some random scientist for no reason. He'd learned from his mistakes.

After a few minutes, Acon returned to Ray's room with a bottle of water and paper bag full of whatever. She took a seat on the floor and sipped at the water with content.

Ray sat up, having laid down on the bench, as Acon entered. "There's a particular reason you're in here, yes?"

Acon shrugged with fake innocents. "Why can't I admire my beautiful subjects?" She asked with a smirk, planning another experiment as she spoke.

Ray sighed. "Look, all of you scientists are the same; you don't come in here without a reason. So please..." He put his paw on his chin, and looked at Acon, questioningly. "Enlighten me."

Acon smiled and kicked her feet in the air like a child. "Aww! You're so cute!" She squealed. Acon set her water bottle down and crawled up to Ray, putting a paw on his knee. "Ok, I'll tell you. I am here to prepare you for your next experiment." She said this like she was telling Ray great news about his new born child.

Ray sighed. "Alright, what is it? Another physical test? Perhaps an endurance run? Maybe a psychological experiment like last time...the one that costed dear Doctor von Braun his life?"

Acon could barely contain her joy. "You're going to get a chance to use your abilities against a creature of the supernatural. And then... heeheeheehee! If you survive that, we'll put you in simulated arena, of your choice, to be hunted by our best!"

Ray sighed. "Of course...it would be combat. You people just love watching things die by my paw, don't you?" He peered close to Acon, until their noses touched.

Acon placed her paws on either side of Ray's face and her smile grew wider. "But of course, my darling! Your art is the most beautiful out of all my children." She beamed with pride.

Ray chuckled. "How long have you been in this lab, miss...?"

Acon held up two fingers and a bent index on her other paw. "Two and a half years." She sang.

Ray smiled. "You weren't here when I got brought in, and that's okay. I remember the last lead that was here...what was her name? You look a little like her."

"You must mean dear grandmother Lulu. Yes. Forty five years. Poor old bag went and kicked the bucket." Acon hooked a claw on bottom lip and smiled.

Ray shook his head. "Why must I always fight? I hate it...it feels weird making things pop like balloons."

Acon waved a paw dismissively. "Oh pish posh, You'll be fine. Would it make you feel better if I told you what you were up against?"

Ray shrugged. "Depends on if I know them, and if they're friends."

Acon cracked another warm smile. "First, the Wraith. Then, if you live which I'm sure you will, Herman, Ricky, and our best Magnolia will be hunting you. I'm sure you've met them haven't you?"

Personality:independent, sarcastic, and he tries to be helpful. But he is oftentimes stopped by how just plain stupid people can be.
Powers (if any): he has freakishly good aim with any rifle imaginable. He even got called "aimbot" once by his superiors.

"Ah!" He went "G-get your hands off me!" The two surly German shepherds holding him have no indication of doing so. "This is illegal!" He yelled "I am an officer of the law! They'll look for me! And when they find me, you'll all be dead, I'll make sure of it!"
"Hah!" One of the shepherds went "we don't give a damn. Scream all you want, little foxy. It aim gonna do ya anything."

A great dane came up behind the shepherds with a cruel grin. "What the hell is he doing here? Does the head know?"

"I don't know." One of them went "they-" he was interrupted by a brief struggle from the FBI agent, which only resulted in him being restrained more tightly "I was told to get this guy, and bring him here. I don't know anything else."

The dane sighed. "Well, throw him in a room and get him sedated. I'll inform the director about our new meat." He chuckled, before placing a call to Acon.

"Yes sir. " one of the shepherds went, before roughly grabbing him, shoving a needle into his forearm, and depressing the plunger.
Lee almost immediately felt the world start to spin, before it all faded to black.

After a lengthy conversation with Acon, the dane hung up and watched with a smirk as the test subject was roughly deposited in his room. "You're gonna like it here. And I think the director will like that you're here as well."

Various bits of memory flashed by in his head. A picture here, a sound there, and even smells, in some places. Was this how it was like before someone died? He didn't know. But he would do his damnedest to make sure he didn't die.

After a bit, Acon made her way to her new subject's room. She peered through the small window on his door and cracked a sweet smile. "Ah, a new child to call my own." She mused aloud in a soft tone.

Lee stirred, and quickly jolted up. The first thing he noticed was the person looking into his window.
"Who the hell are you?" He asked angrily "and why the hell am I here?"

Acon smiled brighter. "I am the director of this facility and the head handler of the cryptic wing. You are here because you have a gift that needs studying." She cooed through the window.

"What?" He goes "me? All I can do is shoot really well! Why the hell am I here?"

"Yes," Acon says, holding up a pointed index finger. "So well, that we must study you! You shoot with such precision, there is no way it's just a matter of mundane skill. You must present to us your art and we must study it!"

Lee blinks with disbelief "ho-le shiet." He muttered to himself "seriously? This isn't some elaborate joke?"

Acon tilted her head in fascination at yet another specimen. "You are another beautiful child I will have to love with all my heart." She thought aloud, tapping a claw to her teeth.

Ray sat in his cell, waiting to be transitioned to the arena. He'd heard of the Wraith, just another push over needing to be knocked down a peg. Ray sighed, and laid back on his bed, looking up into the lights. He'd not thought about it until the Acon sat in his room, but there were lights on the floor as well. Ray figured it was to keep the shadows away. But these silly scientists don't get it, light is the fastest thing they can comprehend, but the dark...oh but the dark is so much faster. As light moves, it finds that the dark is already there, waiting for it. Dark is constant, there's no doubt about that. He chuckled as he flipped a cup upside down. "See? Always there."

Acon entered Ray's room and was leaning against the threshold of the door she kicked down. "Are you ready, my darling artist?"

Ray sighed. "Do I get to learn anything about my opponent? You guys usually tell me that they have a wife, or a child in the lab. Something to make me feel bad about killing them." He kept his eyes closed, as he used the shadows to look around the lab, as the door was left open.

Acon shook her head. "It was plucked straight from the wild. Pure animal instinct is all it has."

Ray scanned over some files about the Wraith, as he spoke. "Then, he will die like a savage. A little on the short side, isn't he?"

Acon smirked. "Yes, but he's fast. And very strong."

Ray nodded. "Uh-huh...but no matter how fast you are, it does you no good if I'm already there." He continued reading, not sure if Acon knew he was or not.

Acon smiled and pinched Ray's cheek. "You really are my most beautiful child." She cracked a proud smile.

Ray opened his eyes, and flinched. He hadn't noticed how close she had gotten.

Acon smiled and turned to stare at a wall on the opposite end of the room. "You will have a surprise challenger at the end of the show, but you don't get to know what her name is."

Ray nodded. "Mm-hmm. Alright then. When am I to fight?"

Acon looked at her watch before turning back to Ray. Something was wrong and Acon was infact not Acon at all, but the Wraith that had taken her form as a method of attack. She leaned over Ray with a wide smile, taking his cheeks into her paws. "Right now." She answered before her green eyes turned into the back of her head and her mouth opened wider than humanly possible to shriek as she held Ray in her claws.

Ray blinked, and flipped the Wraith over his body, and onto the ground. He ran from the room, and began hopping from shadow to shadow. Bastard! Caught me off guard. Ugh...that scream...it's...it's messing with my head...aw hell. He stopped, and sat by the light switch, waiting for the Wraith.

The creature screamed like a terrified woman as it propelled itself through the halls after Ray. It still wore Acon's clothes but they were tattered already. It's long arms grasped the thresholds of doors as it launched its massive body. It sniffed for Ray and finally found him. With another awful scream, it lunged for him.

Ray winked, and turned out the lights, breaking the switch. He laughed, as he manipulated the shadows. "I hate to sound like Freddie Kreuger, but...welcome to my world." Sounds of tearing flesh and breaking bones resounds throughout the lab.

The real Acon watched the whole event from master control with wide eyes and an impressed smile. She loved how things had started off and licked her lips with delight at the way things had ended.

Ray let the Wraith crawl towards Ray's room, which wasn't on the same switch as the hall. The Wraith dragged her broken body towards the light, towards safety. Ray caused a huge spike to land inches from her head. "What's the matter, don't have the drop on me anymore? Isn't that just sad..." Ray stepped into the light, and picked up the Wraith, his face in a Cheshire smile. "Boo." He stepped back into the dark, and the shadows moved into the light. The Wraith screamed in pain, and after a few moments, exploded like a blood filled balloon. Ray walked over to the switch, and turned the lights on, and waited for assessment.

Acon giggled and turned on the intercom. "Yes! Your painting is beautiful, my darling!" She chipped through the speaker. "Now, head outside and your hunters will greet you." She instructed, the intercom going into silence when she finished. Acon press a button and a door behind Ray creaked open. The door lead to a very good artificial arena that resembled a rain forest. Complete with real vegetation and running water.

Ray sighed, and shook his head. "Can I have a while to rest? I'm...I'm not up for any sort of hunt right now." He sat in the blood, and sighed, trying to clear his head.

The intercom came to life. Acon sighed. "Fine but fine minutes. That's it."

Aakor was back in his room again going over a few blueprints of a new rifle designed to try and focus his ability. "Ugh. Why can't I think of a good code name for this thing!" He pushes the papers to the side out of frustration.

Lee really wasn't sure how to feel. first, he was abducted to be studied by some quite possibly crazy scientist. On the other, he was abducted due to his freakishly good skill with a rifle, which was a major confidence boost. I mean, she seemed nice enough. She most likely won't torture him. But he'll be poked full of drugs and needles, he was sure. But the lady seemed to care to much about him to actually do any permanent damage to him... He hoped.

Acon had left central control to check up on her newest subject. She tapped lightly on his door with a tray of food in her paws.

He was startled to wakefulness by his captors knock on the door. She was carrying food.

Acon unlocked the door with a card key and entered swiftly. Once she was inside, she closed the door behind her and broke the card key in half, rendering useless. She had gotten into the habit of doing this after a subject tried breaking out. She could only be let out if someone from the outside unlocked the door.

Ray shook his head, and stood. "Four minutes and thirty seconds." He stretched, "Well...better go see when she wants me to run."

A female Jackal with light pink hair poked her head into the door and looked at Ray with wide eyes of curiosity. "A-are you the subject? The shadow guy?"

Ray looked at this newcomer, a Cheshire-esque smile on his face. "Depends, who is asking?"

The woman shrugged. "Magnolia is, I guess." She answered nervously.

Ray laughed. "Well...why does Magnolia want to know where the shadow man is?"

The Jackal stepped out from behind the corner of the door to reveal she didn't have a large portion of her tail. "Maybe so that she doesn't loose anymore of her tail."

Ray sighed, and his smile faded. "What do you want?"

Magnolia stood like a child on time out. She kept her eyes glued to her combat boots and her ears twitched nervously. "W-we're supposed to ne hunting you. P-please step outside .si we can get started."

Suddenly aakor's room's door gets blown open by ice crystals. It cause a base wide alarm and shuts all of the security doors to that sector of the building.

Ray sighed. "Alright." He stepped into the rain forest, and looked around. "Huh, nice place. Must've been added while I was in lock-down." He assessed his options, as he waited for the signal to go.

Herman was leaning against a tree and smirked when he spotted Ray. "You ever what the hunger games? Maybe catching fire?"
Acon sighed when she heard the alarms. "Seems we've run into a problem."

Ray sighed. "Friend, I've been in the same room for a little over three years. I don't know what a 'hunger game' is."

Aakor walks out of his room looking confused and scratching his head. "Ow that failed... Horribly." Then backs into a wall and collapses.

Herman laughed and strode to Ray with wide steps. "Well, in the movie Catching Fire, the arena is split into segments like a clock. Each hour, there is a new certain disaster on each segment. You have to survive that and us for four hours."

Ray sighed, and looked around for an observation booth. "Can't I just kill you, and survive the disasters? Or is that against the rules?"

"Oh..." He goes, in reaction to the base-wide alarm "lockdown then, I assume? He goes, putting himself through the procedures of a prison alert status. He put his arms just far enough apart to put handcuffs onto.

Herman shook his head. "Sorry, pal. That's against the rules. Nothing starts until we pass the land mines." He pointed just down the drop off of a hall.

Ray sighed. "So...I just have to hide, huh?" He looked at Herman, and smiled. Ray could feel that Herman's brain didn't fill his skull entirely, giving him the nicest place to hide.

Ricky, a large grey wolf with an attitude grumbled to himself. "Can we get this over with?" He demanded. Ricky shoved Ray down the drop off, directly into certain doom.

Ray sprang up, and onto a tree limb. He shot Ricky a look, and began hopping from tree-branch to tree-branch, a plan forming. If I can't kill them...better get them to kill each other.

Magnolia, Herman and Ricky dashed in opposite directions through the forest. Magnolia was in hot pursuit of Ray. On the ground, she slinked about quickly. She knew exactly where they were and had to act fast if she didn't want to drown.

Ray scrambled high into the trees, and hid, waiting for Magnolia to pass. He could see the shadows inside her, the gaps between her skeletal structure and organs. He knew that if worse came to worse, he could squeeze into these spaces. Shadow manipulation had given him quite an edge with hiding.

Magnolia stopped where she was and stared ahead of her in horror. Coming their way was a giant total wave of blood. It crashed through the trees and drowned all in its path.

Ray saw the gory torrent, and looked down at Magnolia. He rolled his eyes, and dropped behind her. Ray grabbed her paw, and ran back. "Time to move miss!" After she began running by herself, Ray jumped back into the treeline, and ran away.

The wave was coming in fast. If Magnolia had any hopes on surviving she had to cross over to the other wedge. She made a sharp turn and crashed through the thick greenery. The ocean of blood stopped and filled the wedge she wept out of.

Ray shook his head, and continued. He found Herman, and used his powers to climb into Herman's brain, like a second consciousness. Ray made Herman hear what sounded like Ray speaking into a microphone. "H-Hello? Check check one two. This thing on?"

Herman stopped and looked around. "Uh... hello?" He asked aloud. Herman was in the wedge that would fill with poison smog in about a half hour. He sipped at the lake he stopped near.

Ray chuckled. "What's the plan to kill me, huh? A little stabby stab, or shoot me? Or are you even to kill me? Like hide and seek, but I can run." He sighed, and did a horrible rendition of Herman's voice. "Oh, but where is he? I can hear him, but I can't see him. Maybe he's behind that tree?"

Herman chuckled. "Look, I don't know how your doing this, but really my plan was to wait until the hour came for this wedge and hold your head in here. You know, let the smog melt you like a candle." He chuckled again.

"So...you're plan was to make it look like I died by accident? Are you even supposed to kill me, or not?" Ray began manipulating Herman's vision. He caused an image of Ray to flit in Herman's peripheral vision. "Oh! There he goes!"

Herman smiled. "The director said and I quote. 'Test my child any way you can. Even if it means ripping his art away from me.'" Herman jerked his head in the hallucination's direction, but stood where he was. Herman checked his watch.

"Oh...I see. So, you can kill me, but I can't kill you? That doesn't seem fair." Ray caused an image of himself to run through a clearing. "Oh! Go get him!"

Herman shook his head and walked deeper into the wedge for his hour. Something burnt the inside of his nose and lungs. The smog was coming. "She said we could only kill you if we had plans to kill ourselves too. She said it would be unfair for us to walk away with our lives if we shuffed out yours." Herman grunted and leaned against a tree.

Ray coughed. "So, you can only kill me martyr style? Seems stupid. If...If I come out, are you gonna kill yourself? I don't want anyone to die while I'm out here, okay?" He blinked from Herman's head, and helped him back towards safety.

Herman shook his head. "She's watching. She'll see I didn't push you and kill me anyway." Once they were closer to the lake, Herman mustered up enough strength to launch both him and Ray into the lake.

Ray blinked over into a bush, and watched Herman hit the water. "Really?! You couldn't just've let me go?"

"You are a disappointment!" Acon's voice seemed to boom through the forest. Herman flinched and kept his eyes glued to the surface of the water. "I thought you were better than that, Herman." The green tinted fog that seemed to stay in its wedge was now filtering into the lake. Herman felt his skin blister under his fur. He let out an agonizing scream as the deadly fog took his life.

Ray sighed. "I'm sorry..." He walked through the forest, away from the fog.

Ricky ran out of his wedge screaming like a little girl as giant wasps attacked him. He jumped into the sand and rolled around like dog.

Ray skipped through the forest, and found himself at a huge, steel monolith. He assumed this was to let the hunters and hunted know where the middle was. "Huh...an interesting construct, but unusable in my case." He began climbing the monolith, trying to reach the top.

Magnolia spot Ray and withdrew one of the butter knives Acon had given her to use as weapons. She chucked it at Ray.

The butter knife hit Ray, causing him to grunt in surprise. "Hm? The hell?" He shook his head, and continued up the monolith. His objective was simple; sit on the monolith for three and a half hours, and wait out the hunters. Of course, the director probably has some sort of trap on top. To distract him from this, he began thinking.

Magnolia tried throwing more silverware, but Ray was too high up. She knew the director might do something to the monolith, so she was reluctant to follow him up. On top of the monolith was a small note written by Acon that read. 'Waiting out the hunters are you, my wonderful child? Well, lets hope you're made of rubber. ♡'

Ray reached the top, and saw the note. "What?" He walked over, and picked it up. "Made of rubb-ER!" His voice rose to a crescando, as electricity pushed him off of the monolith. Ray barely caught himself, and landed on his feet. He shook his head, and dropped to his knees. "Jesus..."

Magnolia ran around and tackled Ray viciously. She held a fork high above his forehead and was about to bring it down hard into his skull.

Ray rolled, and booted Magnolia over himself. "Jesus! You're companions are dead! Why don't we just wait this out!?" He stood, and prepared himself for whatever might happen.

Magnolia let tears fall from her cheeks. "I won't live. She's not gonna let me live."

Ray sighed. "Well...I'm sorry. If I could do anything...I would. But until then." He started walking away.

Acon narrowed her eyes at not getting the show she wanted. She stood and walked through a door that led her out of central control and into the arena. She stepped out infront of Ray with her arms crossed, tapping a foot on the ground like angry mother.

Ray looked up. "Director?" He looked back at Magnolia, making sure she hadn't moved. "What can I do for you?"

Acon glared at Magnolia who stood and stared at the ground like a naughty child. "You both are done here. The guards will escort you to your rooms." She cracked a smile. "Oh, and congratulations, Rayleonarde."

Ray backed away from the Director, back towards Magnolia. "For?" He'd be damned if he let someone die for not catching him. At least, not by anyone else's paw.

"For your new job. Since you survived your last test, you'll be working for us now." She turned her smile to Magnolia. "And don't you worry. She'll live to see another day."

Ray looked at Acon like she was crazy. "W-Work for you? Why in the HELL would I do that!?"

Acon furrowed her brow. "Why wouldn't you? To help us unearth this world's greatest secrets? To unlock truths the government doesn't want us to know? My darling boy, if it weren't for us, you would and all other gifted children would be dead right now."

I wake up in a medical bed in a cold sweat and having a panic attack. "AGGHH!" I pause for a moment as my vision focuses and I realise where I am. "What the **censor** happened?"

Ray shook his head. "Keep me prisoner for three years, and still asks me for help..." He chuckled, and then laughed. "I'll have to think about it." Ray shook the guards off, and walked towards his cell. "Ridiculous!"

Acon shrugged and made her way to visit Aakor. She entered his room with a smile. "How do you feel, my darling?" She asked sitting on the edge of his bed.

Ray leaned into his cell, and looked at the guards. "Can we at least turn off the lights?" They shook their heads as a response. Ray sighed. "Alright then." A few seconds pass, and the two guards were reduced to smears across the walls, one being shoved non-too-gently into an air vent, and the other was ground to a paste. Ray spun the guard keys around his finger, whistling. Huh...might as well see what's happened to...whatever the city was called. I remember a city, at least. He shrugged, and made his way to the entrance.

An older woman by the same Lana stepped in front of the entrance with a sweet smile to Ray. "My my. The director would be most disapointed with your behavior." Vines of a dark green curled themselves over the doors, forming tough barrier.

"Ugh I feel like I've been hit by a bullet train and then stuck in cryo for three decades." Aakor said as he tried to get up and make his way to the door. "Was there anything left of my blueprints?" He asked as he leaned against the wall and whenced with pain from where an ice crystal had been propelled into his abdomen during the accident. "Last thing I can remember is holding a rifle I was developing to focus my abilities and it having a kickback worse the an elephant gun."

Acon shook her head. "The guards couldn't find anything but you and a whole lot of ice." She pat her subject's shoulder.

Ray could feel the darkness outside; tantalizingly close. He looked at the woman. "Could you let me out...please? I only want to see the sun." Ray kept an innocent smile on his face as he spoke, hoping she would buy the facade.

Acon had left Aakor's room and headed down to the main floor. She stopped just behind Ray and cracked a smile. "Let him out Lana." She barked. Lana jumped at the sound of the director's voice. She bowed and reluctantly stepped out of the way, the vines ripping away from the doors.

Ray unlocked the door, and stepped outside. He breathed deep, and sighed. "This is the outside, huh?"

Acon stepped out and leaned on the threshold. "Yes. I hope you enjoy it while you can. Be careful, my darling. These beings outside of the facility are monsters that want nothing to do with your wonderful art."

Ray walked cautiously out onto the sidewalk, watching the building for any guards that might shoot him. He reached the sidewalk, and sighed. Ray hadn't seen the sun, felt the breeze, or smelled fresh air in years, and it made him giddy. He skipped down the sidewalk a free man.

Acon turned to Lana. "Where is Magnolia? Prepare her for the outside and have her follow him." Lana nodded and went to fine Magnolia. She dressed her in modern outsider clothing and set off to follow Rayleonarde.

Ray stopped at a clothing store, and smiled. "Time to get out of this suit." He walked in, and proceeded to possess one of the patrons. "Check check, one two. Can you hear me? I need you to put a set of clothes outside, okay?" They screamed, and ran outside. Ray popped out, and watched them run. "Well...this just got a whole lot harder."

Aakor eventually got back to his usual self and was escorted back to his room/cell. "Oh god. That's what happened." He said as he examined what was left of the wall the rifle was shot at and the door behind it. "Didn't we get a new subject in today? I've heard he's got a rather unusual ability when it comes to weaponry." He said to one of the guards as they were just about to leave.

Magnolia walked down the street nervously. She had been born into the facility so she'd never seen the outside world. The director had always showed her pictures and let her watch movies, but she has never experienced anything like this before.

Ray sat on a bench, and saw Magnolia. "Great! The Director sent you to tail me, right!?"

Magnolia jumped and almost lost her footing. "I-I don't know what you're talking about." She said, trying to compose herself.

Ray chuckled. "Don't lie, please. I know she sent you to watch me."

Magnolia hung her head in shame and sat down next to Ray. "Yes, but for the life of me I can't figure out why. Why me?"

Ray shrugged. "Probably 'cause you were the only one alive after the hunt."

Aakor continued "I'd like to talk with the director. If I have any hope of remaining useful I need to gain control over my abilities and I need to talk to her about the new subject." He said in a serious and slightly angered tone of voice.

Magnolia looked around nervously. "Silver Moon is frightening."
The guards looked at each other. One shrugged and dialed the director. When she answered, the guard told her that one subject wanted to talk to her. After a while the guard looked at Aakor. "Come with us."

Ray looked at Magnolia. "No, I'm frightening. This place is strange." He reached through the shadows, and pulled a set of clothes through the void. "There, now I can get out of this damn suit. Oh, and miss? Stop following me. Go back to the director, back to the lab." He stood, and walked into a shadow, disappearing.

Aakor followed the guards with a weird mixed look of surprise, worry and satisfaction. "Huh. Note to self can I actually do that?" He said quietly to himself as he walked out of his room.

Magnolia watched Ray leave. She couldn't go back now. The director will kill her for sure. Magnolia stood and wondered into the park, a large green area full of memorial statutes. She went to sit on a park bench and waited for someone or something to come along.

Ray emerged from a shadow on top of a bar. He changed, and dropped down. "So...this is Silver Moon?" Ray shrugged, and walked around. He scratched at the collar the facility put on him. Ray wasn't sure what it did, but from what he'd seen in his trips through the facility, he assumed it logged his vitals, in case he died in his sleep.

Acon sat in a dark room in her apartment, in the middle of Silver Moon. On her coffee table was a large digital map of the city. Her smile grew as the small icon shaped like the head of a tiny cartoon raccoon moved about.

Ray stopped, and looked at a strange building. He pointed at the sign, and read it aloud. "Gentlman's Club?" He watched as a bear wearing golden aviators walked in like he owned the place. Ray shrugged, and wandered in. After a few moments, he ran back out, and dry heaved. "What in the name of God!? Why were those women...ugh..." He shuddered, and walked away. "N-Not again."

Magnolia wondered about the streets with her arms wrapped around herself. She stopped when she saw Ray and ducked into an ally, behind a dumpster.

Lee didn't know what to do. He hated that feeling. It left him unable to sleep, and the problem at hand typically occupied most of his thoughts. Right now, he wasn't sure this was a good
Thing or a bad thing... They hadn't mistreated him or anything... So he guesses it's okay. But then again, they did abduct him, and that was a rather unpleasant experience. So he sat on the edge of his bed, contemplating it.

Ray shuddered as he walked, still scarred from what he had seen. He couldn't imagine any place being so...so carnal. Ray sat down on a bench, and stared at the ground.

Magnolia materialized out of a light mist that danced around the faint wind. She crouched in a tree as she peered down at Ray, hoping he wouldn't notice her.

Ray closed his eyes, trying to remove the images from his head. Tears fell from his eyes. "This...is not what I thought it would be..."

Acon leaned forward and whispered into the little icon. "You should come home to me, Rayleonarde."
Magnolia took a wrong step and nearly fell out of the tree.

Ray shook his head. "M-Maybe I should just head back to the lab. At least I understand it there." He sighed. "I don't even know where I am."

As Aakor followed the guards he started to wonder strange and weird things like just what it was like to literally be a pet. Nothing special just a normal pet.

Ray wandered around the city, lost and confused.

Magnolia followed close behind, but she didn't dare get close enough for Ray to see her.

Lee sat in his cell, bored. When were they going to let him do something! Take him to a range, stick him full of drugs, anything!

Acon strode down the hall to Lee's cell. She knocked on the door and looked in with a smirk.

"Heya, doc." He says, smirking back at her "Need anything?"

Ray stood at the street, and winced as a car went by. "Christ! What was that!?" He shook his head, and continued wandering, unsure of where the lab was. "I shouldn't have blinked away from that one girl...she seem to know where we were...what'd she say? Silver Moon?"

Acon opened the door and stood in the threshold. "Ready for your first test?"
Magnolia tripped over a trash can, falling on her face and almost rolling into the street.

"Yep." He goes, standing up "what is it?"

Ray heard Magnolia fall, and turned. "Hey! Hey you!"

Magnolia was about to move her long hair from her face when she remembered Ray had told her not to follow. She kept it where it was and waved. "No. I no clean." She said in best impression of the cleaning woman on a show she once watched.
Acon shrugged. "You're going hunting."

"Hunting?" He says, raising a brow "hunting what?"

Acon only gave Lee another smile before she turned, signaling him to follow.

Ray sighed. "I know you're from the lab, miss. You can't hide the smell." He knelt beside Magnolia, his face full of fear. "Please...I just want to go home."

Lee sighed, got up from the edge of his bed, and followed her. He had decided that he might as well do what this lady wants... If he plays his cards right, he might end up working for this place, instead of being a subject.

Magnolia moved her hair and messed with a hangnail on her thumb. "H-home? Really?" Magnolia couldn't believe how quick this job was. She thought for sure that she'd be tailing him for atleast a few days.
Acon brought Lee to a room that had sounds of the forest escaping from behind its door. When she opened it, the simulation of a thickly wooded forest was revealed. "Come in and choose your weapon." She indicated a wide variety of hunting weapons.

Ray nodded. "I'm...I'm afraid...T-This place..." He shuddered.

"The ammunition will be simulated as well, I assume?" He picks up a bolt action hunting rifle, aims down the scope, makes a dissatisfied face, and then puts it back down

"O-ok." She grabbed Ray's paw and quickly pulled him back in the direction of the facility.
Acon shook her head. "No. You'll really be hunting." A guard pushed a cage of creature that looked like small children and would do anything to make it seem like that. The creatures whimpered and cried out for their mothers. "You'll be hunting these 'kids'. They're very fast and agile. As well as deadly. Kill all of them, one clean shot for each. Make it count because your ammo is limited and you don't want to be stuck in here with these things without means of self defence." She chuckled.

Ray followed behind Magnolia, staying close to her, like a child would a mother.

When they arrived at facility doors, Lana was there waiting with a smug smile. Her long colorful tail swished from side to side. "Welcome home."

Ray nodded slowly. "I...I am not ready for the real world." He walked inside, and made his way to his cell swiftly, and sat down on the bed.

After telling Lee all he needed for his first test, Acon walked up to Ray's cell. "You came home to me. How was the outside?"

Ray looked at the Director, and ran over to her, gripping her in an embrace. "It was horrible! They had these big metal monsters that moved without anything! And...and this place....this club...It...It was horrible! These women...it was indecent! Awful! Disgusting!" He huddled closer to the Director, like a little child. "D-Don't make me go outside again...P-Please?"

Acon smiled and rubbed Ray's back as she held him in her caring arms. "I would never make you go back out there. They would never understand your beauty anyway. I hope you learned a valuable lesson."

Ray nodded, and a few tears fell from his eyes. He remembered feeling this way, when Doctor Von Braun committed suicide.

Acon kissed Ray's cheek before she held his shoulders at arms length. Keeping calm smile, Acon lifted her right paw and delivered a powerful backhand to Ray's cheek.

Ray reeled, but understood the Directors frustration. He looked back at her, and nodded. "Thank you."

lee nodded, and finally settled on a camouflaged, high caliber semi-automatic rifle.
"they're not kids." he muttered to himself "they may look real, but they're not." He was sure in his mind that they were not, but the little buggers did a good job of playing the innocent child. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and listened to the forest, attempting to separate Natural noises from ones that could give away his prey. It was a thing that many operator-types did, he had heard, so he might try it too.

Acon massaged her paw. "Get some rest, my child. Tomorrow is gong to be a vary eventful day for you." She turned and left, shutting Ray's cell door behind her.

Ray nodded, and sat on the bed. "Goodnight, Director." He removed his clothes, and curled up in the bed.

The rifle he had contained 10 rounds of 7.62x51 NATO if he was correct, and by his count, there was six or seven of them. He smiled; he had three more than he needed. By now, he had figured out the 'natural' sounds of the forest, and they faded to dim background noise.

"How big is this facility and how long till we get to the director's office?" Aakor said in a frustrated tone of voice to one of the guards.

The guards led Aakor into a room that was oval shaped and had a large oak desk sitting in the middle of it. "Wait here. The director should be with you shortly.

Ray awoke, and paced around his cell, troubled by his adventure yesterday. He didn't know what to think anymore.

"Oh. Ok." Aakor calmly sat down and waited with a mixed look of confusion, frustration and surprise written across his face.

Acon walked into her office with a knowing grin. "Hello, my child. What may I do for you?"
A man with a sunken face knocked on Ray's door with his boney fist.

Ray looked at the cell door, having paused mid-stride. "Yes?"

The man used his card key to open the cell. "The director wants you dressed and ready for work." The man, a skinny male fox with many years of experience under his belt, threw a pile of clothing into Ray's bed.

"I was wondering if I could start a joint research project to develop new long range weaponry with the new subject that was brought in." Aakor looked directly at acon with a dissatisfied expression.

Ray nodded, and dressed. He quickly stepped beside the fox, not wanting to gain the ill-will of the director, whom Ray saw as his protector, and teacher.

Acon placed a paw on her hip and fixed her subject with a raised brow. "You have been here long enough." She shrugged. "Done."

The fox scanned Ray with a critical eye. "Subject of study, quick boy." He barked.

Ray shrugged. "Varies. I'm studying subliminal messages and the effects of mental persuasion...but I'm thinking about switching. " He sighed. "I'm not too good about staying with one study."

The fox stroke his graying mustache as he thought. "We can work with this." He mumbled a few things under his breath. "For now, you'll start with subliminal messages. Then, if you're ready, the director will move you. Follow me." The fox limped down the hall to an elevator.

Ray followed the fox, without question. He seemed to know the director, and that was good enough for him.

"Wait seriously? Just like that?" Aakor was surprised and shocked at how easy this was. "If I heard correctly he's a fox right?"

Acon thought a moment. "Yes, I believe he is. When do you wish to start your studies?"
The fox pressed a button, but instead of an elevator waiting for them, behind the door was a long dark hallway. The fox turned to Ray with a smirk. "Keep up and don't worry about the hands."

Ray nodded, and continued across. He remembered Doctor Von Braun's dreams that involved long hallways of this such nature.

Lee was still in the 'forest', hunting down the last one, one shot each,two for one, in one case. The little bugger had decided to hide, and lee was having a difficult time of finding him...or her. He couldn't tell.
He heard a soft rustling, barely audible. He gave no hint that he heard it, he just walked into it's general direction. It gave a slight whimper, and that was all he needed.
He pulled the trigger, and the gun clicked. A jam. He mentally cursed, and decided that un jamming the rifle would just tell it that he was there.
Swinging it would take too long, and it could duck. Just jabbing it forward, to where he believed one of it's eyes to be would stun it long enough to grab for it's neck, and slit it with his claws. They were meager things, but they would get the job done.
He followed that out, and it happened just as he predicted.

"As soon as possible and maybe some work with the other subject you have. The one that can manipulate shadows?" Aakor tilted his head and continued "I'd like to try and create a range of weapons that use supernatural abilities as ammunition. All the weapon does is focus the users energy."

As they moved, dirty looking paws sprang up from the ground and grabbed hold of anything they could. The fox just kicked them off and kept moving. When he was finally to the end of the hallway, scientists of all ages and species studied large screens that flashed rapidly with clips from cartoons and commercials. A radio was on, but to the untrained ear, only sounded like static.

Ray rubbed his ears, and stared towards the radio. "What on earth is that noise? It feels like it's scratching my brain." He jumped over a groping paw, and landed in front of the fox.

The fox turned and let out a laugh. "This is what you'll be studying. Listen closely. How do you feel? What do you hear? What's your subconscience saying to you?"

Ray shrugged. "Well...it's telling me to kill the radio. Wait...wait." He listened hard. "Something about...rebirth?"

The fox snapped his fingers. "That's a bingo! Rebirth of what?"
-
Ray listened. "Rebirth of...of...I...I don't know." He shrugged. "I...I can't tell yet."

The fox shrugged. "You got pretty far for your first time. Most get the messages backwards or jumbled up. You'll get it with practice. Come, I'll show you where you are to start." The fox led Ray into a room with a bunch of children sitting around a tv, watching a modified episode of sponge bob.

Ray stood in the doorway, looking at the children. "W-What is this?" He looked at the TV, and saw brief images clipped into the show. Ray leaned close to the fox. "Subliminal messages?"

The fox turned. "Yes. I want you to watch how these kids act during and after the episode. When the episode is finished, ask them what they've learned."

Ray sat, and waited. He felt himself drawn to the cartoon, but fought the urge to watch. Just as he was about lose his battle, the show ended. Ray blinked, and shook his head. "S-So...what'd you guys learn?"

One of the kids, a bear cub, turned. "Why was Emily Rose so evil?" He asked with a raised brow. The other kids started talking among themselves about dirty things and possible life threading event that May happen in the future.

Ray blinked, confused. "You're raising psychics?" He turned to the fox.

He shook his head. "It was all in the cartoon. Hidden picture and messages. Clips from other movies were slipped in there too."

Ray nodded. "Oh. O-Okay." He shuddered uncomfortably, at some of the children's comments.

One of the kids looked directly at Ray as he spoke. "You're disgusting. The director doesn't love you! She hates you and thinks you're an abomination. Thats why she keeps you in here." The fox smirked and pat Ray's back.

Ray flinched, and fought the urge to tear the little child to pieces. He looked up at the fox. "Is...this all?"

The fox took his head. "You shouldn't worry too much about it. Theses kids are mean when this experiment is done. They'll say anything to hurt you."

Ray nodded, and stepped out of the room. "I...I need a moment...or your gonna lose a subject." As Ray spoke, the shadows of the room reached out for the child that spoke.

The fox turned on the bright lights that came from the floor and the ceiling. "Easy there."

Ray nodded. "Sorry..." He sighed.

Acon strode down into the very bottom level of the facility. This particular level was off limits to all staff and specially designed for containing an acidic subject.

Felicity booped Acon. "You called?" She realised the difference between the words. "Ooh, facility not felicity... Never mind, bye" she disappeared.

Ray stood in his brightly lit cell, waiting for the old fox to give him his duties for today. Ever since he watched that video, and listened to that radio, he'd heard voices, whispers, crawling through his skull. These were not his own thoughts.

The fox walked into Ray's room and handed him a controller. "You like video games?"

Aakor was in his room making tweaks to the new rifle and making notes of the changes as he made as he did them.

AJ grinned, a convenient sliver of light from the one he hadn't yet destroyed sending a beam past his muzzle. His last test had been a rousing success - a single wind circle that cut magic circles into nearby surfaces like a self perpetuating disaster. Maybe he could sell it to the military.
If course, cutting his cell was impossible, as was burning it in various ways. He had requested some lower grade metal which now sat in a pile to be lined on the walls.
When was Acon coming? He dropped his smile as he sat on the bed. He got plenty of research material but no entertainment. He wanted a job - a hunter job. He sighed. He knew plenty if destructive applications for his favourite elements but so far the only circles he cared to use were the common ones already on his body.
He belched loudly and fell back on his bed to laugh about it for a bit. Eventually though he just went back to being bored.

Acon walked up to the subject's cell and smiled warmly at him. "Hello, beautiful." She cooed.

Ray sighed, and looked at the old fox. "Sir, are we going to sit here, and discuss topics I don't understand, or are we going to start something?"

The fox chuckled and motioned for Ray to follow him. The old fox led Ray to a room with one other fur.

Ray stepped inside, and looked at the fox. "So, what now? Another hunt?"

The fox shook his head. "No, video games. This is John. He is our gaming enthusiast. He'll teach you everything you need to know before we start this test."

"Hello, gorgeous." He said, his voice full of desire. "Why don't you come on in?"

Ray sighed, and sat, waiting for John to commence.

Acon leaned against the bars and peered in at her deadly subject. "My poisonous baby. So lethal. So beautiful."
John smiled wide at Ray and told the basics of what he needed to do in order to a successful gaming experience. Once he was finished, the fox handed Ray his controller. "You'll be playing Legend of Zelda."

Ray took the controller, and sighed. He looked at the fox. "What is the point?"

"Oh you tease," AJ hissed happily. "Why don't you come on in and say hello?"
AJ patted his lap as opposed to the empty bed space beside him, or his chair by the desk piled with notes and research materials.
"At this point you can only see my beauty up close..."

Acon licked her lips. "As tempting as that may be, I must decline."
The fox smiled. "In this one, you first have to figure out which game it is, then you must use messages thought the game to figure out a crime committed just this morning. Who died, why and how?"

"Damn it, woman! Why did I get the attractive warden!" AJ growled. "I'm technically staff too ya know! Why else do I waste my eternity studying in this trap?"
AJ crossed his arms.
"I want to go on a job. If you let me I won't kill anyone in the facility on my way out or back in. I'll even willingly return! And I want new lights! And that scrap metal pile to be cleaned - my test was successful BY THE WAY. And I want a gaming console. With a handful of good games. I don't get to live in here you know. Why are we both the same species but you're I ever there and I'm in here!?"

Ray nodded, and set to work. He was rather slow, and deliberate with his actions, but started picking up speed as he went. Ray spotted out patterns that the game created, and scratched them out on the floor.

Acon smiled. "You are my beautiful child, same as all the rest. And I am your director. If I give you special treatment, all.my babies will want it. I must treat all my children equally!" She moved about the room, inspecting the area. ((Oh he is!))

Ray continued playing, and after about five minutes of silence, he began repeating the same numbers over and over again. "One five...four eight...zero eight zero...One five..." He worked as if he wasn't speaking, and marked down thoughts in the floor.

AJ slid over to Acon and grabbed her waist, nibbled at her neck.
"Pleeeeeeease~" he crooned. He even wagged his tail a little.
"I've behaved haven't i? So where's my reward? Anyway lights are standard so I get those."

Acon smiled fixed AJ with a watchful eye. "Fine, lights and a clean up."

"But that's all the stan-dard stuff!" AJ moaned, hugging Acon tighter.
"What about my mental well being? I'm bored, bored, booooooored! Cut me some slack, Ac!"

Ray continued to talk, until around the four-hundredth repetition. He blinked, and nodded. "Umm...a single man, Joseph Stantson, twenty-three, killed his neighbor, a miss Madaline Graham, seventy-three, over a heated dispute of one faulty air conditioner. Stantson claimed that she kept it running to bother him, and miss Graham declined. Stantson attempted to fix said conditioner, and pushed it onto the old woman, crushing most of her upper bone structure. He ran inside, and proceeded to beat the now-crippled Graham to death. Charged with murder, Stantson will receive penalty of death on October 14, 2025." Ray inhaled, and a few drops of blood fell from his nose.

Acon sighed. "Fine. You'll be taken out to blow steam once a day." She pat AJ's cheek. "Sound good?"

Ray staunched the bleeding, and looked at the fox. "W-Well?"

I elbow a guard in the face then yank on the chains making the rest fall over, "this gets easier every time"

"ONCE A DAY!" AJ exploded, his tail whiz zing off in a thousand different directions. "What a deal! Now you're talking! That often is one hell of a change! I'll tell ya what, I won't even TRY to escape with a deal that good! You're the best and most attractive, Acon!"
AJ licked Acon's cheek and laughed, letting go and dancing around a bit. Then he paused and glanced wryly at her.
"Today is a day..." He hinted with a wink.

The fox pat Ray's shoulder. "Excellent work." John sat wide eyed and stared at Ray with awe. "Wow."
Lana stepped from her office and charged at Ben. She snapped her fingers, a flourish of black vines held onto Ben.
Acon sighed. She motioned for AJ to follow when she opened his cell door.

Ray blinked, and looked at the two. "W-What? What'd I do?" He looked over at the television, and tapped it curiously.

I start ripping at the vines violently

John shook his head and went back to his own game. The fox chuckled. "Come, let's take you to the director."
Acon had led AJ up the stairs and directed him to the arena he was to spend his time. She walked into the hall Ben and Lana were in. She smiled warmly at Ben and walked up to him. "A new child?"

Ray nodded, and stood. "T-To who?"

AJ grinned and followed Acon in a docile enough fashion. He wondered why there were no people in the halls.
"Where am I anyway? How come nobody but you comes to see me - this place ain't all for me is it? It is it some SCP containment job? I played the alpha of that before you locked me up - thanks again. When you said you'd take me to your place in that bar this was NOT what I had in mind. I'll never talk about my magic interest or species again..."

I hear the word child and burst out laughing "hate to break it to ya Hun but children don't kill"

The fox turned to Ray with a raised brow. "The director. You best not have forgotten her, boy."
Acon smirked. "You are too dangerous for my scientists to handle, so I keep you down stairs." She smiled at Ben and took hold of his chin in her cold grasp. "All my children kill. It's their art. And I love my childrens' art."

Ray shrugged. "Sorry...I don't even know what's going on." He looked around. "What is going on?"

Ray felt odd, and stepped away from the fox. "N-No...w-what's going on? Tell me!" Shadowy veins crept across the walls, moving towards Ray, as he stared.

"Then let me carry on with my 'art' I have a very elaborate peice in the making"

"And now I'm in the woods..." AJ mumbled, suddenly surrounded by trees. Something other than him rustled and he grinned, diving into the shrubbery.

Half an hour later AJ had hunted down and was cooking a feral deer. He tore another chunk if neat from the thing he was eating and felt rather pleased with himself. He he hoped he still got his regular meals...there wasn't much point in planning on it as he was likely still being observed, even here. Unless...
...
"I had fun." AJ shrugged and said simply to Aconitum when his free time was up. Behind him, the last inches of the incredible forest fire he had started burned down.

The fox sighed and pressed a button on a small remote, turning on lights from all angles of the room. "You need to calm yourself. The director will help you."
Acon shook her head sadly. "As much as I'd love to see the piece you paint for me, I'm afraid it's past your bed time." Acon plunged a syringe into Ben's neck. She pumped him with enough sedative to take out an elephant.

Hours later Aakor had finished making the first rifle. It was time to fire it at something. "Ugh I need a good sniper to tell me if There was anything wrong with it. "

Ray shook his head, and backed away. "No! I'm not seeing anyone, until you tell me what's going on!" He continued backing away.

I clench the muscles in my neck and the liquid squirts out with some blood

Acon growled, growing a bit angry. A rarity for her, Acon tried to calm herself. "Bad children get punishments." Acon pressed a button under a table, opening a trap door that landed Ben directly into his cell.
Acon turned and smiled at AJ. "Ready ti go back to your cell?"

Ray took off down the hall, and blinked through a few vents, ending up outside. The night air bit his lungs, as he ran from the facility. Ray made his way to the top of an apartment building, and sat, panting.

I smile and laugh as the door closes

"Only cause I wrecked the playroom. Can I have something different next time? I'm thinking streams and waterfalls." AJ grinned evilly and looked at the hole on the floor. "Who was he? And why do you opt for this creepy nanny director personality whenever I see you in here? What happened to the chick I was chatting up in the bar? Also let me be artistic."
AJ grinned even wider at last part, obviously meaning 'let me kill something'.

I start trying to rip into the floor

Acon glared at the floor where Ben had gone through. She turned to AJ. "You are all my children. That is that. I bring you here to protect you from the world that so cruelly shunned you. Now, back to your cell, or you'll get a punishment as well."

I get my fingers in a crack and bend the floor up

"I dunno, a spanking sounds pretty darn good to me." AJ grinned and slunk back to his cell.
"What's for dinner tonight?" He asked, still walking. He preferred to stay on Acon's good side - because although only certain criteria could kill his kind, and Acon most certainly knew them, she wouldn't kill him so easily. And because of that there were likely some nasty poison drinker tortures that awaited if he stepped out of her lines.

Acon sighed and walked down to Ben's cell. She stopped at the strong bars. "It's no use. You won't be leaving unless we let you out. Your cell was made just for you! Solid materials line the walls and floor." She smiled, leaning against the bars.

Ray looked over the city, and thought. "All I've got is a name...Ray. Is...is that me?"

Acon smiled and pat Ben's cheek. "I hope you understand why I'm doing this. This world wouldn't know how to appreciate your art. Only I do."

Acon nodded. "That's what they all think, but our modern government has its ways. I've see the strongest get carried away. Here, you'll be safe and happy. You'll get to test your skills to the fullest. We wiz treat you like family here."

Acon beamed with pride and kissed the top of Ben's head. "That's my boy. Now, get some rest. You'll have all day to show me your artistic genius tomorrow."

I sit with my back to the wall looking into space

"What's for dinner what's for dinner what's fur dinner~!" AJ demanded continuously as he shut the door behind him and admired the new lights Acon must have had some techy guy install.

Acon brought AJ a try of food from the facility's cafeteria.

"What am I lookin' at, Ac?" AJ asked happily.

Acon opened AJ's cell door and walked in. "Tuna."

"Oh. When's the next steak coming?" AJ asked, shovelling his food down despite his apparent disappointment and his earlier meal of feral deer.

Acon smiled. "Not any time soon."

"Awww. Why? And when's the next big thing happening here?"

Acon smiled. "Tomorrow, I want you and my new subject to paint together."

"Paint." AJ said skeptically, imagining berets and paint sets.

Acon laughed. "Of course! With that beautiful red paint."

Ray looked around, and sighed. "What is this place? What was that place? Who am I?"

Acon walked out of the facility after talking to AJ for a bit. She looked around with a warm smile.

Red paint...? How lame. Wait - blood?
"You tease~!" AJ roared happily after her. He loved the way she knew how to keep him happy.

Acon walked down the streets of Silver Moon as she searched for Ray. She spotted him atop a building and smiled up at him. "Rayleonarde, please come home!"

Ray stayed on his perch, and shouted. "No! Not until I learn who the hell I am!" He wanted more, but figured he should test and see what all this woman could provide.

Acon took one paw from her pocket and put it out in an offering gesture. "You are Rayleonarde. You live in the facility, the only place that can keep you safe. You have a gift, much like all my children, but yours is precious, too wonderful for the world. You are my most beautiful child and I love you." She said this with a soft tone and warm smile like a mother trying to calm her child.

*I start pounding on the walls*

"Ahh **censor** it. What the worst that could happen. Other then being in a coma again... Oh well. No sacrifice, no victory." Aakor then held the barrette m82 sized rifle. "Now for a target." He took aim at a table on the other side of the room and fired. The gun jammed "oh co-" he was then cut of by it back firing an propelling him back into a wall and freezing him in a cocoon of ice.

A few guards ran to Aakor's cell and scrambled around trying to contact the director.

As the doors fly open dry ice fills the corridor like a thick smoke.

The guards cautiously moved into the cell, their weapons drawn. They kept their eyes on the bundle of ice that held the subject.

The ice remained still and motionless.
-
One of the guards jabbed the ice with his toe. "Hey! Can you hear me?!" He yelled.

I start laughing watching from my cell
-
Aakor was enveloped in the ice and unconscious. Not single peep was heard. Though some parts of the ice were clear and showed that the rifle had completely blown his paws off along with his forearms being a mess of shattered bone and missing flesh.

A guard turned away in disgust to dry heave. The others talked amongst themselves. "We need to get him outta here." The guards got to work picking at the ice.
A female vixen turned to Ben and sneered. "What's so funny?" She shouldered her rifle.

"You fools, that's what's funny"
-
At a closer look the ice around the damaged areas were starting to change and form new bone tissue and flesh.
-
The guards watched with awe as the ice formed to fix up the subject.
The vixen rolled her a green eyes. "Disgusting." She spat.

After a few hours had passed the ice had finished healing Aakor. At this point the cell was somehow returning to normal room temperature and not the average of -20 it had been at for the last couple weeks.

"Come here for a second I have to tell you something"

The vixen smirked. "I don't think so. If you got something to say, you can say it now." She crossed her arms.

Some of the dry ice started to clump together and form something above the ice that had smothered Aakor.

The guards backed away slightly.

Once the guards stopped moving the clumps started to take shape of a large one sided blade. It had all sorts of weird marks on it. Then it span around to point at one of the guards as though it was being held by someone.

((Yay)) I reach through the bars and grab the vixen by the neck trying to pull her head through the bars

The guards looked at each other in fear. Some of them ran to help the vixen as she struggled to get away from Ben.

The blade shot through the air and cut bens paws then zipped around the room and jammed it's self into the guard who gave the order to start picking at the ice.

I yank her head through the bars and dig my claws into her neck and start ripping it open, not caring about my now slashed paws

The vixen cried out and started throwing her fists at Ben.
A large portion of the group ran out of the area and upstairs, screaming for their lives.

The blade then pushed its way through the guards chest and into bens paws

Her hits were like pillows to me, blood began squirting from her neck onto the walls and floori take my claws out and pull her the rest of the way through the bars then grab her by the head and smash her face into the wall repetidly her teeth falling to the floor with large amounts of blood

I throw the body hard to the other wall and spit on it

The remaining guards stood off to the end of the room. They watched with horror when Ben killed the vixen and they tried hard to keep away from Aakor's cell.

I pull the blade out of my paw and throw it at the guards

Suddenly the ice makes a loud cracking noise and the hallway is cleared of any ice crystals.

The guards scramble away from the blade and moved for the stairs.

I laugh and shove the body out into the hall a streak of blood coming from my cell to the hall
-
The guard tripped over themselves as they tried to scramble up the stairs. After a few minutes a small groups of men in odd suits came down to clean up the mess.

I stand waiting for one of them to try and get in my cell to clean it

The men moved around the room, preparing to hose down the floor.

I Look at the men work

One of the men smirked. "You did this, huh?" He indicated the plastic bag that now held the remains of the vixen.

I smile "thank you for noticing"

Ray looked down at the Director, and shouted. "No! Being kept against my will is not living! I won't go back there! You can't make me!" He took off across the rooftops, teleporting in and out of the shadows.

Acon sighed and shrugged. "Fine. You'll see, Rayleonarde. The outside world doesn't want you." The director turned and went back to the facility. "He saw once, he's just going to have to see again."

I lay down in the cell

Ray stopped atop one of the many churches in Silver Moon, and sat on top of the spire. He stared at the Facility, for a moment, before looking up at the sky.

To Magnolia's displeasure, Acon sent her out to tail Ray again. She didn't like the outside and if Ray had made a move to escape again, he may not even think about coming back.
Acon went down to visit Ben's cell. She looked from him to Aakor with a warm smile.

Well hello miss

Acon smiled and snaked her arms through the bars of Ben's cell. "My men tell me you created a wonderful piece today. A shame I was unable to see it before it was washed away."

Ray scrambled down the side of the church, and stood on the sidewalk. He wandered the city, unsure of what to do.

I put all of the vixen's teeth in your hand

Acon smiled at the teeth and stuck them in her pocket.
Magnolia followed close behind Ray. Her ears twitched when she heard the sound of a large van approaching them. When she turned to look, her eyes widened with fear when she saw it was one of the vans the director told her to always avoid. The van was black and had no windows. At all. She ran for Ray, grabbed his paw and pushed him into an alley.

The ice that had been covering Aakor had been covered by was turning to a thick black smoke.

Ray fought against Magnolia, and ran back to the street. "Stay away from me! Who are you!?"

I laugh quietly

Magnolia panicked. "Get back here!! Their gonna kill us!" She yelled. The van picked up speed and was heading straight for them.

Ray looked around, and picked up a pipe from the floor. He held it like a bat, and yelled. "Stay away from me! You're from that facility!"

Magnolia looked at the quickly advancing van. "Yeah and I'm trying to save your skin!" She ran out from where she crouched and grabbed the pipe from Ray's paws. The van screeched to a stop, turning its rear to them as it did so. The back opened like a set of doors with no one behind them. A strong hand shot out and grabbed both Ray and Magnolia. They were pulled into to back, bound and gagged. Inside, it was bright, obviously made for Rayleonarde.

Ray thrashed around, trying to fight against his bonds.

There was no one in the van and no way for them to look out. The vehicle spread off. Magnolia cried and tried to undo her bound paws. A bodyless voice was heard. "Stop struggling. Its no use."

Ray felt the bonds around his paws weaken and fray. He fought harder, like a caged animal.
-
After a while, the van came to a harsh stop, making the two fly out the back and into a room without window or doors, just solid while walls. When the van spread away again, the opening created for it was closed off.

Ray tore his bonds off, and pulled the gag from his mouth. "What's going on!?"
-
Magnolia managed to slip her paws from the binding and removed her own gag. "They've found us! We're gonna die!"

Ray sighed, and looked around. After a moment, he got an idea. "Give me your clothes." As he spoke, Ray removed his jumpsuit.

Magnolia watched Ray in horror. "What?! Why should I?"
-
Ray sighed, and set his jumpsuit up in the corner. "Look, do you want out or not?"

"So what now"
-
Magnolia rubbed her eyes and hugged her knees. "You got us into this mess." She cried. "I-if we wait long enough, maybe the director will come save us."
Acon shrugged. "I wanted to let you into an arena with another one of my subjects but we must wait until he's awake."

Ray sighed. "Suit yourself." He tore his jumpsuit apart, and did his best to create a hollow cocoon. After a few moments, he sighed. "I can't do it, I don't have enough fabric." Ray tried different shapes, but to no avail.

Magnolia pressed buttons on the band that was strapped to her wrist. She shook with fear as tears ran down her cheeks.

Ray sighed, and stuck his arm inside the cocoon. "Miss, would you like to teach these fools a lesson?" He held his paw to Magnolia.

Magnolia looked at Ray with an eye of hatred. "How?
-
Ray chuckled. "Light is fleeting..." He opened the cocoon slightly, showing that it was pitch black inside. "But shadows are forever."

Magnolia turned away from Ray. "Do what you want. I wanna go home."
-
Ray slid into the cocoon, as the shadows engulfed him. "Suit yourself...I was planning on taking you back...but..." He slowly sank into the darkness, paw outstretched.

Magnolia ignore Ray, still facing the other direction.

Ray sighed, and stepped out of the darkness. "I can't leave you here...not alone." He pulled the cocoon apart and put the lower half of his jumpsuit on. The upper portion was torn to pieces. Ray sat across the room from Magnolia, looking at the floor.

Magnolia turned and smiled at Ray "I knew you couldn't leave me."

"I've got all day"
-
Ray nodded. "Not with a clean conscious."

Magnolia scooted closer to Ray and folded her paws in her lap. "So... why did you leave?"

Ray shrugged. "Too many questions, not enough answers. So, I left to find myself."

Magnolia raised a brow. "Can't get many answers when your all the time running away from them. Why not ask the director? She has all the answers." Magnolia beamed.

Ray sighed. "How do I know if she's lying?"
-
Magnolia leaned close to Ray as if she was telling him a very classified secret. "When she lies, the corners of her mouth twitch."

Ray nodded. "Oh? Thank you for that information."

Magnolia sat upright. "So, what do you wanna know?"
-
Ray shook his head. "Nothing you can't tell me. It's something I have to learn for myself."

Magnolia nodded. "Oh. Well... huh."

Ray smiled sadly. "I just...I want to learn my purpose. Why am I here? Why was I given these abilities?" He looked at the ceiling.

Lee had been customizing a rifle to his tastes. He could fire any rifle at pretty much any distance, but he preferred some over others. Right now, he was fiddling with a 7.62 caliber rifle, attaching a scope, a bipod and replacing several internal parts. He hefted his rifle, and aimed down its scope. Satisfied, he put down the rifle, and moved on to a pistol.

Magnolia shrugged. "I understand. The director says we're a gift from the gods themselves. She says that we are here to better the world. She always says we are the world's future and that it's her job to prepare us." Magnolia shrugged. "I always believed her. I don't know if it's just her overall hatered for the outside, if that's true, but I've always kept my mouth shut."

Ray sighed, and looked around. "So...what's the plan here? To get out, I mean."

Magnolia crossed her legs under her. "The director will come and save us. Normally she wouldn't, but since you're involved, she'll organize a rescue."

Ray blinked. "Why me? What's so special about me, that would make her want to find me?"
-
Magnolia shrugged. "I don't know. She just thinks you're special. More so than the rest of us. Hasn't she ever talked to you about it?"
-
Ray nodded. "She spewed some starry eyed speech, yes. I don't believe it though. Anything that woman says is a gamble at best."

Magnolia narrowed her eyes and punched Ray in his shoulder. "You know, the only reason we're alive now is because of her. What is wrong with you? Did you hit your head or something?"

Ray shrugged. "I don't know. I feel like I just woke up today. I can't remember anything passed this morning."

Magnolia's eyes widened. "What? So... you don't remember Ricky and Herman? The arena?"
-
Ray shook his head. "Those are new names, miss. I've only got one now, Ray. I think that's me...but I'm not sure."

"Y-yeah. That is you. Do you remember the first director? Maybe your first handler?" Magnolia couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Ray shook his head. "No. All I have is my name, a few pictures, and running."

Magnolia raised a brow and looked at the band on her wrist. "Ok...?"

Ray looked at Magnolia, and peered at her wrist. "What do you have there?"

Magnolia opened her mouth to answer, but was interrupted by what sounded like boiling water. Magnolia turned her head to see a grey paw had burnt its way though the wall.

Ray blinked. "What the hell?"

The paw melted the rest of the wall just enough for Acon to fit through. "Are you two ready to come home?"

Ray stood, and backed against the far wall. "No. That is not home."

Acon shook her head. "No no. Not the facility, Rayleonarde. Home."

Ray kept himself pressed against the wall. "I don't trust you..."

Acon sighed. "What do you think I'm going to do that couldn't have done over the past few years I've cared for you?"

Ray shook his head. "I showed up in that...place...today."

Acon tilted her head and crossed her arms. "No, my child. You've been there for years."

I try slipping through the bars on my cell

I fully get through and I improvise a knife by ripping part of the wall off and rolling it to a spike

I sneak up on a guard and drive the spike through the guards neck and drag his body to a dark corner and take his clothing and replace it with mine I sit the body up looking at the wall in my cell and I grab the rifle and start walking the halls

Ray flinched, and shook his head. "N-No...I showed up today! You're lying!"

Acon closed her eyes and shook her head. "No, darling. I'm not lying. Ask around most of my staff have worked with you for years. Lana being one of them. Don't you remember your first handler?"

Ray shook his head. "I haven't been assigned a handler..."

I walk around a bit not being questioned by anybody, I find an air vent and smirk

Acon waved a paw dismissively. "Sure you were! First, Dr. Von Braun, then myself for a brief time, then Adam, the old fox."

Ray shook his head, and collapsed in the corner of the room. "N-No...No no...I...I just arrived."

Acon moved a bit closer to Ray and pulled him into a warm hug. "No, Rayleonarde. You didn't. I don't what happened to you today, but you have been with the facility for years."

Ray sat for a moment, tears falling from his face. He looked at Acon, confused. "W-What...am I?"

Acon smiled warmly and kissed the top of Ray's head. "What aren't you is the real question. You are a wonderful creature manifested from the heavens. Rayleonarde, you are a fur with a wonderful talent that I hope to help you understand."

I rip the vent cover off and slide in

"Don't go that way." AJ said to Ben from his bed, in his cell. "Unless you got a fetish for fixing Ventilation Unit number four."

"I'm outta here"

Ray sniffed. "Why...why do I feel torn? I want to save this world...and destroy it."

"I'm telling ya it's a dead end. It's boring. Go left. I haven't been left. I've been right. That leads to nothing but hours of corridor - I got bored and turned back after half a day." AJ offered. "Buuuuut it iiiiiiis your choice."

Acon hugged Ray tighter. "It's a feeling we haven't figured out yet. We all feel it, my child."

Ray sniffed again. "S-So...w-what should I do?"

Acon sighed. "Well, you could come back to the facility and we could work on what happened today. Or you and Magnolia could come home with me and we could figure this out in a calmer manner."

Ray looked at Acon. "I...I don't want to go to the facility...not again."

"Then I'll find another way" I replace the cover and wander the halls until I find what seems to be a med bay

Acon smiled. "Then it's settled. You'll come home with me."

Ray nodded. "T-That sounds...nice...Home..." He said the last of his statement with a blank stare.

Acon stood and motioned for Ray and Magnolia to follow her out the opening she had created.

I kick the door in and shoot the three doctors dissecting a few other killers, all with a round between the eyes, I execute the killers silently with the spike I formed

Ray stepped through the hole, looking around cautiously.

I find a door in the back of the room and open it walking qick down the hall

Aakor emerged from his cell with a burst of black smoke and an evil grin as he looked around the hallway with red glowing eyes. "I'm back!" He shrieked as he bolted towards a nearby door.

I find another door and kick through it

It unfortunately leads you straight to Aakor. "Oh hai there... Ben was it?"
-
AJ henceforth made a discovery amazing enough to revolutionise magic in a way that kept him important enough to be protected but not quite high profile enough to go on harrowing adventures. He later escaped the facility and disappeared for a few hundred years.
He met Acon several times along the way.
She still refuses to date him.

Ray looked at Acon, as she stepped from the room. "C-Can we go?"

Acon nodded and led Magnolia and Ray to her elegant high rise apartment in the middle of Silver Moon. "Well, this it. Make yourselves at home."

Ray immediately took up a spot in a darkened corner, after checking that the lights would barely reach it.

"Uh yeah why" I say un shouldering the rifle

Magnolia curled up on the couch and looked around the room. All these things she's never seen.

Ray huddled in his corner, and pressed against the wall as hard as he could. "D-Director? W-What is this place?"

Acon turned to Ray from her place in the kitchen and smiled at him. "This is my apartment, where I live."

Ray nodded. "B-But what is this place? This city?"
-
"This is Silver Moon. A very old city, that sits on the edge of an unnamed ocean." Acon said with pointed finger in the air.
-
Ray nodded. "Silver Moon. Another meaningless name."
-
"You killed an innocent guard." Aakor started to smile like a mad man as his eyes light up again and the black smoke that was trailing him thickened into two swords with a black and red flame coming off of them.

"So did you"

"Not purposely." He began to walk closer to Ben
-
"Yeah you kinda did" turns around walking away
-
"How?" He waves a sword towards Ben and a wall of smoke appears in front of Ben. "Nuh uh ah. I don't think so..." By now Aakor was within distance to use his blades.

You stabbed the one guy
*I turn around*
So are you gonna kill me, or get out of this shit hole with me

"Correction. I didn't stab anyone. The blade that was protecting my body as it was being healed simply killed that guard because he had given the order to brake open the ice that was healing me. It saw him as a threat." He the used the wall to wrap Ben up in a cocoon of smoke leaving only his head uncovered. "Oh and I shan't be going you nor killing you..."

Ray walked towards the windows, and stared at the city. "I...I don't know how I feel about this place. I...I want to help them, but destroy them."

"Friken christ"

Acon chuckled. "They wouldn't appreciate your help."

"I prefer to cause mental illnesses and torment the mind. Though I shall kill you if necessary."

Ray turned. "But help is help...right? I-If I reason with them, talk with them, learn their ways...I...I could help them."

Acon nodded in thought. "And what do you plan to help them with?"
-
"You can't **censor** me up much more buddy" I laugh
-
Ray turned back to the window. "I...I don't know. I hear no, and see no evil."

"How about I make you feel guilty for everything you ever did? Yeah. Guilt. That's the worst thing you can put someone through." On that note some of the smoke seeps into ben's ears and eyes going straight for his brain.

Acon smiled. "That was their goal."

Ray turned. "Who's goal?"
-
"Guilt is for the weak, I regret nothing" I feel the smoke run through me

Acon made a wide sweeping gesture with her paws. "Them. Everyone that isn't out of the norm."

Ray pointed outside. "How would they know about me? Why would I be on their agenda? Who else knows about us? About me?"
-
"That van, it brought you two to a building that was established for the sole purpose of terminating all like us."
-
The smoke forces Ben to look back at the murders he had committed as though they were all part of movie only slowing down the parts that would cause the most pain and misery.

Ray stepped back, and paced. "That van was built to negate my abilities. Who are those people?" He stared at the Director. "You know more than you let on."

*I begin laughing louder*
Oh a that was a good one

"Those people are our government. The kind of studies we do at the facility are illegal. Conspiracy and magic, illegal. The supernatural? A federal crime of caught studying it."

Ray furrowed his brow, and turned to the window. A bus was driving slowly down the street, and Ray used the shadows to cause the driver to slam the gas pedal. The bus careened into a building, and exploded. A voice in the back of his head laughed. Use that anger, my child...your gift is one of great destruction.

"They want you and the others dead. Everyone with a gift is automatically targeted by the feds. They've been at this for years. Thank god Lulu decided to try and put a stop to it."

"Well then. I guess it'll be the usually warm release of death." He then jams both of his blades into ben's abdomen.

Ray looked out, as the firelight played across his face. "Where are they?"

Acon shook her head. "Everywhere."

Ray sighed, and pressed his head against the window. "I guess I've got a lot of ground to cover, hmm?"

Ah shit
*feels the blood flowing from my sides to the floor*

Acon moved from the kitchen with a cup of tea in her paws. "I suppose so."

Ray looked at Acon. "Where should I begin?"
-
"Hehe. Wait till the flames set to work..." Aakor was looking up at a nearby security camera and smiling like a Psychopath.

"The cauterizing will only help" I smile happy to give the tip
-
"Oh no. These aren't normal flames. They're hell fire. Freezing cold fire." He moved both of the blades round and then let the freezing cold do the rest.

Sounds like a party
I smile and laugh a bit

The flames build up inside of Ben slowly freeze him.

I grab one of the blades and pull it out

It dissipates into smoke and reappears next to your neck pressed against it.

I don't care how I die mate it'll get me out of this shit place faster

Acon shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe we should figure out where to go?"

At that point Aakor used the smoke to pick Ben up and put him back in his cell.
"Well. Now your back in a place that makes you miserable."

Ray sighed. "Tell me where you think I should start."

I laugh a bit and take my shirt wrapping it tight around my abdomen stopping blood from flowing

"Ugh. I'm going to lay down..." Aakor glides back into his cell and flops onto the bed.

I lay on my back and look deep into space with a blank expression

Ray had fallen asleep on the couch, curled into a ball of confusion. His head pounded, as he looked around.
