um.. im new to the whole furry thing, ive always loved my tail but as an enhancement for my personal happiness, self confidence & emotional balance. i heard about "furries" & i wanted to investigate, on the chance i may be accepted? i dont wear fur suits or anything like that (not that i have a problem with them, i think they're amazing, just not for me) i just feel better about myself with my tail & ears, i wear them everywhere, im wondering if that makes me furry or not?
would be nice if i could find more people like me, who won't judge me on first sight

Well, what makes you a furry can vary from person to person. Personally, I consider it anyone who really identifies with a certain type of animal, anthropomorphic or otherwise. You can be a furry if you want. If you don't, you don't have to!
Anyways, the people here are a nice bunch. They won't judge.

our admin wingedzepher did a topic on this with some youtube videos attached to it with some of the biggest people in the furry fandom talking like uncle kage (storyteller and chairman of anthrocon) and 2 the ranting gryphon (stand up comedian)
from what i know none of us here judge anyone and trust me i dont judge you for doing what u like not everyone has to have a fursuit they can be alot of cash and they get really hot so you just do what you do and i wont judge

Welcome to the forum! Definitely more than one way to be a furry, I'm not interesting fursuiting, but just wearing ears is nice sometimes. I tend to enjoy the artist side of the fandom most, but just having a community that values creativity would be enough to interests me :3
