-
*Zaida sits in the building with scars on her face and bruises on her body*
French bear: "we're is ze American spy!!"
Zadia:"censor you!!!" *she was playing along*
-
Magnolia slinked around the building with a cold smile on her lips. She adjusted her jacket and held her knife tight in her paws.
-
S.S. Obershturmfurher Rayleonarde stepped out of the Kubelwagen, pulling a pair of dark leather gloves onto his paws. The onyx black S.S. trench coat had an, even alone, an air of oppression. Coupled with Ray's own aura, it seemed as if Ray could talk down even the Furher himself. He stepped into the building holding the American spy. A cold smile played across his lips.
"So...you believed we were so stupid, frau? Thought that you could steal what little information we fed you?" He chuckled. "You are sorely mistaken." He stepped up, and grabbed Zaida's throat, the leather gloves creaking from the pressure. "I could kill you now, and leave you to the vultures...but...I am feeling generous." He delivered a massive backhand to the bound sergal. He looked around at the disguised Germans. "She will be kept alive." He stepped out of the building, pausing for but a moment. "But just alive." The Germans smiled as the Obershturmfurher left.
-
*Joseph suddenly looks as the german put away the prisoner...looking at Zaida he whispers *"Je suis désolé,Germans are all the same
-
Magnolia looked on with her tradmark grin of uncaring coldness. She watched Ray with hot amusement as she followed close behind him, hidden by shadows as they moved.
-
"Haha you coward!! Fight me like a man!!! Censor!! Or are you to afraid to lose..." *she snarls at him walking away hoping to get loose and fight the bastard*
-
"Ok soldiers..we may be the last survivors but...Merde....WE SHOULD FIGHT!!!"
-
The Obershturmfurher adjusted his cap, and rounded on Magnolia.
"So, my little wallflower, what have you collected for me this time?"
He listened to the cries of Zaida, and smiled. "I hope you have found the rest of this...resistance. Merely children with weapons. I wish to do away with them." As he speaks, a rifle round rips through the air, whanging off of the Kubelwagen.
-
*Joseph Sneaks up on a german snapping his rough neck,he grabs the MP40 before he runs with the group to zaidas location*
-
Rayleonarde drew his pistol, and shot Joseph in the leg, with viscous precision. He walked up to the downed frenchmen, a cold smile drawn across his lips. "Good try, my friend. I commend you for your bravery..." He stomped on Joseph's back. "But I punish your stupidity."
-
Magnolia stoped in her tracks and nearly triped over her own feet. "Yes. Some of your men may not even be german and there is a french group of tea tottlers on there way."
-
*Zaida's wrist were bloody from the wire that tied her to the chair while she struggles* "gaahhhhh!!!" *she yells trying to get out her wrist know drip blood making a puddle she looks around then notices a bomb in the corner having 3:34 minutes on it* "sh***t!!!!!!"
-
The commandant stood on Josephs back as he spoke. "Hans, Zeikel. Put this one with the other. He will be of much use to us." Rayleonarde walked to Magnolia, and held her paw. "Show me where they are. I'll get Herman on the radio, and maybe we can all have lunch under the Eiffel Tower?" He heard the cries of the prisoner. "Lukas, get that bomb removed, I want these prisoners alive, dammit!" All three soldiers moved to do as they were told.
-
"You Dirty German Dog!!!..you will not have that smile when youre Scalped!!"*Spits defiantly on Rays Boot* "Now are you going to be hitlers pet and try to kill me?..."*He grabs Rays pantleg*"Dirty Racoon Savage..."
-
Magnolia offered a smile and bowed slightly. "They're head this way from the east. We have their leader, they shouldn't be too much of a problem for you." She placed a paw on Rayleonarde's cheek. "Please hurry, I am very famished."
-
"Ahhhh!!" *she screams breaking the wire but still some parts in her wrist. Looking at the bomb it was 2:27 she began to run limping out of the building and down the street hearing the explosion. She lays against the wall next to some bodies of furrs she closes her eyes into complete darkness and her heart only to be heard*
-
Rayleonarde placed his paw on Magnolia's. "Within the hour." He released her, and turned on his troop, grinding his bootheel into Joseph's back. "Gruppe! Cover off into skirmish line! We've got rats to tend to!" Rayleonarde shook off Joseph, as the two troopers took him to the building, walked back to the wagen, and grabbed his StG .44, and readied it. His troop filed in along side, and they waited, facing the east.
-
Magnolia watched the troops as they fell into possition. She smiled and turned to asses the damage done. With a smirk, she strode away to snoop about further.
-
*Joseph suddenly Breaks from the germans killing both with a MP40 Blast,He crawls to Zaida*"A-American,I Need youre Help..."
-
*she opens her eyes dizzily* "w-hat uh with what..." *she says tiredly as she lost blood from her wrist and the lunches gave her a headache*
-
Rayleonarde turned, and watched the prisoners. He leveled his pistol, and hesitated. He could make the shot, and kill them both with two rounds, but he couldn't bring himself to shoot unarmed prisoners. He sighed, and turned around, as if he saw nothing. He shouldered his assault rifle, and prepared for the resistance.
-
Magnolia turned and swiftfully kicked Joseph's weapon from his paw. Once he was disarmed, Mags stradled him, pinning his paws with her booted feet. "You are a very bad boy." She chuckled, drawing her knife and taking a fistfull of Joseph's hair into her other paw. "And bad boys get punishments." She took the knife to Joseph's scalp, cutting off only a small portion of it.
-
*He holds his head in pain*"AGH!!...**censor**'
-
Magnolia smiled in wonderous pleasure. "Now," she said as she stood. "If you are good, I will let you keep the rest of your scalp." She cooed, giving Joseph a kiss on his forehead.
-
*He Writhes in pain*"American...Why are you here?"
-
"I don't know.." *she says confused not remembering much at the moment she then wraps Joseph's head while magnolia walks off*
-
Magnolia threw back her head and cackled like a witch as she left. "The french. Oh how I love to french!" She sang with joy.
-
The troopers spot the resistance, and open fire, killing off a few of the resistance soldiers. The resistance forces return fire, killing two troopers. Rayleonarde stood, one leg on a rock, and firing in short, accurate bursts. The skirmish continues, until all the resistance forces lay dead or dying. However, Rayleonarde and another trooper were left. Rayleonarde sighed, and lowered his rifle. He returned to the kubelwagen, and grab the radio. "Command, this is Obershturmfurher Rayleonarde. We've dealt with the resistance, with heavy losses." He sighed, and looked up at the smoking remains of the building where the prisoners were held. "We've...lost the prisoners, command...Yes sir...yes...I understand." Rayleonarde sighed, and set the radio down. He got in the kubelwagen, and honked. "Magnolia!? We've been called back!" Rayleonarde watched as the wounded trooper bled to death.
-
Magnolia turned to look at Ray and the wonded trooper. She climbed into the kubelwagen and adgusted her jacket again with a digusted glance at all the blood. "Fine. But can we not leave this one?" She indicated the dieing man.
-
Rayleonarde lifted the dying man from the kubelwagen. "He died on the battlefield, fighting gloriously for his country. He saved my life, and shall receive the Iron Cross for his bravery." He set the dying man down, and the soldier died before he even hit the ground. Rayleonarde took his tag, and got back in the kubelwagen, and drove back to the field base.
-
Dmitri shows up dressed as a german undertaker. His truck pulled up across the street from the german brass. He sent his worker to collect all the weapons and put them into a crate in the back of the truck. He pulled a salute to the germans across the street, and started to put on black protective coverings.
-
*Zaida begins to drag Joseph away not being seen eventually getting somewhere safe she stops in the ally way tired* "are you ok..?"
-
"Ah...Why,my family and now this?...my resistance ?"*Puts hands up to face and begins to sob*"Why......Why...."
-
Magnolia studied Joseph's blood on her gloves. The crimson that speckled the black leather made her smile. "Bravery is an illusion. If a man is full of enough fear, he is able to mask that greater terror with a cloak of idiocy made with pure threads of gold. This is bravery's true face."
-
*Dmitri begins his usual check of the alleyways looking for german patrols* Why must I be stuck hunting a human? he mutters to himself.
-
"It's ok.. It's ok just relax the jeep is coming and we will take you back to base and fix you up.. We'll be fine.." *she pats his back to comfort him*
-
The kubelwagen pulled into the HQ, as several platoons saluted. Rayleonarde waved nonchalantly as they passed. He parked, and got out. "I've got to see the commandant. He wanted to talk to me about the prisoners. I will return, and you, Herman, and I will go for lunch." Rayleonarde wandered into the commandant's office, and the door shut. For a few minutes, polite chatter emanated, but then shouting and cursing arose. Ray walked out, the SS uniform stripped from him, and in its place, a Panzer Grenadier uniform sat. He rubbed his eyes, and wandered around the complex.
-
*Upon hearing english, and the word jeep and base, dmitri slowed his pace and drew his hatchet*
-
*Zaida heard footsteps holding her pistol still lieing beside Joseph to protect him*
-
Ray walked back to his kubelwagen, and wrote a note for Magnolia, saying he was demoted, and was being sent back to the front. He was transferred to Herman's squad, so that was a bonus. He apologized for not being able to keep the promise of lunch. Ray got on the nearest Opel Blitz headed for the front, and sighed.
-
*Dmitri stepped out into the alley.* in rough english" Who are you and what are you doing here?" *the hatchet was held at his side, but poised for use*
-
Magnolia read the letter and huffed, trying to contain her anger. "No lunch and both men to ever mean anything to me were being set up for almost sertain death." She grumbled to herself. Magnolia stomped into town and grabbed herself a beer.
-
*she raised the pistol towards him* "hiding..... But if your going to kill me I won't die without a fight.." *she growls*
-
*Dmitri put the axe away* "If you like living, you need to trust me."
-
"F-fine..." *she still holds her pistol by her side and helps Joseph up*
-
"No, the only way for me to get you out of here is for you two to be limp and still" *Dmitri gestures to his outfit* I am an undertaker, not a doctor.
-
"Ohhhkay" *she puts her gun away following what he said*
-
*Dmitri picks up the other fur and drags him towards the truck* "Ill be back for you."
-
The Opel Blitz screeched to a halt, and Ray dismounted. He held the standard issue MP-40 awkwardly. He hopped out, and looked around the French hamlet. He jogged up to Herman, and saluted. "Pioneer Rayleonarde here, sir!"
-
((Uh-oh. Who's Herman? You or me?))
-
((I figured I'd hand that one over to you...he was with Magnolia, after all...That's just my logic behind it.))
-
((Ok. Sounds good.)) Herman gave Ray a smile and raised brow. "Rayleonarde, please. Knock that off." Herman pulled Ray into a tight embrace. (Man hug!) "It's been a while, old friend. I never would have expected to see the great Rayleonarde here in the front lines."
-
(Wait ulfur do you mean a random fur or Joseph??) "o-ok" *she says wrapping her wrist carefully*
-
*Dmitri placed joeseph facedown next to the truck and headed back for zaida*
-
Ray returned the embrace, and backed away, adjusting his pack. "Two prisoners escaped, which was grounds for being demoted. Anyway, I'm now under your command." He looked around the hamlet. "How's the front been? I've been doing cleanup missions for so long...I just saw combat for the first time in a month."
-
((Is this really best? I feel like a fish out of water. XD)) Herman shook his head, scratching his chin. "Personally, I feel like we're moving at a snails pace with this whole operation." Herman rolled his shoulders and fixed Ray with a larger smile. "Maggie. How's she fairing?"
-
*Dmitri returns to zaida and begins to drag her limp body to the truck*
-
Ray returned the smile with a cold grin. "She really enjoyed herself. I didn't keep too close an eye on her, but she helped a lot." Ray sighed, and looked down. "I promised her to lunch, though. You, her, and me, all under the Eiffel Tower. But now I'm here, and I can't pull those strings." He looked around. "I thought I saw her from the truck, heading into town. If I can make a suggestion, I say we go find her...sir."
((It'll be fine. You don't need to know the jargon, it's fine if you talk casually. I was thinking Herman only led a small group of about...what was it, six? I'll have to think about it, I mentioned the squad size way-back-when.))
-
Herman gave a sly grin and nodded in agreement. "We should go find her. Shouldn't be hard. Knowing Mags, she's probably drowning her anger in alcohol at the bar." Herman chuckled.
-
Ray nodded, and commandered one of the scout cars; a small, lightly armored vehicle, armed with an MG 42. Ray hopped into the gunners seat, and beeped the horn. "Got our ride, Herman. Room for seven, if one of us sits on the hood." He grinned. "I'm expecting that Mags won't be able to getback on her own."
-
Herman chuckled. "Yeah, she'll be completely out of it, that's for sure." He mused as he climbed in and sat with a grunt.
-
Ray felt the vehicle lurch, as Herman drove off to Magnolia. "Does she frequent the same places?" He leaned against the MG, pointing it up into the sky.
-
Herman nodded and passed a grin in Ray's Direction. "What's today? I think I know where she is."
-
Ray tilted his head, and almost had to shout over the wind. "Tuesday? What does that have to do with anything?"
-
Herman chuckled. "Maggie only goes to some bars on different days of the week. Today, she might be at that little in town. What's the name? It's been there for a bit, one of the first. Mags likes to save that one for the beginning of the week." Herman, once in town, made a sharp turn down an aly and stopped infront of a small bar.
-
Ray hopped out, and looked around. "Huh...so this is Tuesday? Eh, I'll head inside, and meet Maggie." He walked inside, and scanned the bar. He spotted Magnolia, seeming to have a conversation with the bottle she held. Ray sat down beside her, silently.
-
Magnolia turned to Ray and offered a grin before turning back to glare at her bottle. "You sons a b**ch!" She yelled at it. "Rayleonarde, this joker thinks he can stand me up for our date to da ball." She slured, indicating yhat the bottle was her unreliable date.
-
Ray gingerly took the bottle from Magnolia's paw, and helped her to her feet. "Let's get out of here, Magnolia, before you do something we'll all regret." He put a few marks on the table, to pay for Magnolia's drink, and started moving her outside.
-
Magnolia stumbled out of the bar as if every step she took could land her on her face. She blinked as she was brought out of the dark bar and waited for her eyes to adgust.
-
Ray helped Magnolia into the back of the scout car, and sat in the gunner seat. "Alright, we got your VIP, let's get back to the base."
-
*Zaida relaxes on the truck* "thank you.. So much" (OMG I might make sergal partial soon :o)
-
Herman laughed and passed a glance back to Magnolia as he sped off toward base. Mags slouched and stared up at the sky. Suddenly, she lurched forward and threw up into the front of the vehicle. Herman jumped and yelled, trying to avoid the sickness that made its way into the front.
-
Ray grimaced, but did not move. He turned, and looked at Magnolia. "What's the matter Mags? Can't hold your booze?" He chuckled, and turned back around. "Oh well, we all aren't gifted with Herman's Iron stomach, eh?" He laughed, and tapped Herman's chest with the back of his paw.
-
Herman screwed up his face in disgust. "Yeah..." He said, trying to think of methods he could use to get the stink and stains from the vehicle. Magnolia held her stomach. "Shut it, Rayleonarde. Or I'll decorate the back of your head with my breakfast." She groaned.
-
As they pulled into the field base, Ray sighed. When the car stopped, Ray got out, and helped Magnolia to the barracks. "You just need to sleep, Mags. You'll have a headache later, but...oh well. The price paid for a good time, huh?" He set her in an unoccupied bed, and looked at all of the soldiers within. Ray fixed them all with the cold stare he was renown for. "I may have lost my rank, soldiers, but not my resolve. If any of you even think of touching this woman..." They nervously begin going about their business. He may have lost his colors, but Ray's name had not been forgotten in the ranks, he still had his bite, and wasn't afraid to show it. Ray walked back to Herman, cleaning supplies in tow. "Alright, let's get started."
A few hours pass, and Ray and Herman walk back to the barracks, the scout car cleaned of any vomit. They step into the barracks, as several soldiers leave, mobilizing on a mission. Ray took one of the bunks adjacent to Magnolia, as Herman did the same. Ray watched the ceiling fan spin around and around, before he fell asleep.

He was dropped, to train and assist resistance forces in any way possible.

Personal Quote (Catch phrase): Ah Christ...
-
((The reenactor in me is happy right now))
-
Ray awoke with a start, and chuckled. "Oh, just a horrible..." He looked down, and sighed. "Never mind." Ray stood, and grabbed his pack, noticing Herman was still asleep, he walked out to the firing range. He picked up the standard pioneer's MP-40, adjusting to it. He hadn't used one as a shutze, and didn't get much practice with the weapon. After a few moments, he sighted his target, and fired. A neat grouping of about three inches across formed on the wooden figure. "Though a great weapon, it's definitely not an assault rifle." He moved on to the next station, this one for pioneers only; the Flammenwerfer. Ray spoke with the rangemaster, dropped his pack, and donned the tank of pressurized fuel. He jogged about for a moment, getting used to the bulk, before returning to the range. He readied the nozzle, and steeled himself. At the press of a trigger, gouts of fire flew from the tube, igniting the wooden dummy, and most of what was around it. After a few seconds, Ray pulled his paw back, and shook it. "Verdammt, the thing gets hot." He practiced with the weapons for the next few hours, growing accustomed to the grunt tools.
-
Magnolia woke up and saw that Herman and Ray had already gotten their day started. She stood and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
-
Reddington was prone on the floor of a treeline, several hundred meters out from the nazi compound. Just far enough for them to not hear the report of his rifle.
He was to take out the guard towers while a group of FFI members snuck in, grabbed as many crates of rifles an munitions as they could, and got the hell out of there. Preferably with a nazi half-track.
They'd been reconnoitering this camp for weeks. There were four guard towers, one at each corner of the camp. He couldn't take out four guys fast enough to prevent an alarm, so he had the best shot of this resistance cell, Emile Lhermitte, posted on the other side of the camp. He would take out the other half. When the guards are taken out, he would signal a small group of commandos to move in. They were to sneak in from the north side (it was the grassiest, and the closest to the woods), cut the fence just enough to fit, and then they climb through, find a half track, take said half track, Load it with as much ammo as they can, and then get the hell out of dodge.
Hopefully, it would work.
-
Magnolia strode about with a rifle strapped to her back. She wore a long black coat that dragged on the ground as she moved on account of it being Herman's and her just being a bit shorter.
-
Ray doused the range in fire, for a few seconds more, before extinguishing the flame. He turned around, and spotted Magnolia. "Hello, Mags! Might I say, you look imperious in that coat."
-
Magnolia turned her attention to Ray and offered him a light smile. "Herman said that as well. I think it makes me look shorter than usual." She chuckled as she moved beside him.
-
Magnolia messed with the collar of her jacket and took a seat on the ground with her legs crossed.
Herman walked about, giving orders while he munched on piece of plain bread. After a bit, he spot Ray and Magnolia. Herman walked toward them with a warm smile on his. "Ah, yes! I have to say, I am at the prime of my life. My best mate and the love of my life are both here with me. How could war get any better?" He chuckled.
-
Lee saw a brief flash of a mirror on the other side of the camp. Emile was ready. Lee repeated this signal, and then fired. There was a brief pause; just enough to work the bolt of his rifle.(and for both him and Emile, that was less than half a second).
The guards were eliminated without a hitch.
The FFI commandos saw the shots being made, and quickly moved in.
The FFI commandos got to the fence without a problem. The problem came in the form of a nazi soldier going to take a piss.
"ALAR-" he managed to yell before his throat was torn open by a .30-06 round from lee's rifle.
-
Ray smiled back at Herman. "We could win? That would definitely be a bonus." He chuckled. At the shout, Ray tilted his head. "Did you hear that?"
-
Herman turned and looked out beyond the camp. "Yeah. Some of the boys..." Herman smirked. "Look alive, Rayleonarde. We have company."
-
Ray cracked his neck, and grabbed the flamethrower, and an MP-40. He looked at Herman. "What are your orders, sir?"
-
Instead of panicking and running off to the tree-line, across the field that is rather large and devoid of any solid cover. Plenty of concealment, but if a German MG team decided to rake the fields, they would be screwed.
They cut the last two bolts, and quickly ran into a nearby building. Lee saw a few bright flashes, and assumed that was them eliminating it's occupants.
-
"There are snipers all over the place. Call up the rest of our team and flush 'em out. Mags, do your thing and help Ray find the basterds." Herman grumbled.
-
As long as his group of commandos was still in there, he would still support them from this treeline.
He also had to do a quick relocation so that he would be harder to find.
-
Ray stood for a moment. "Hmm...well, I'd be..." He ran to a few sandbags, about 25 yards away from the treeline. "In the woods." He readied the flamethrower, and doused the forest near him with fire. He was rewarded with panicked screams and burning figures.
-
(( there was just enough men to conduct the raid. The only two snipers were lee and Emile. They were the only non-nazis in the woods. And plus, if I was a sniper with half a brain, you'd be dead by now. Not to be critical, but ya got some stuff wrong))
-
((Well, let's pretend there were more that weren't part of your team. Eh?))
-
((Fair point, Fox, I'll give you that.))
((But...French Resistance, right?))
Ray looked about for anything that could give him an edge in the situation, and he spotted one of the Puma's (the actual name escapes me ATM), and hopped in, tossing the flamethrower to the dirt. He started the engine, and smiled.
-
((Ok then. But on the running up the forest? How? It wouldn't make sense for me to be in that treeline If it was close to the camp. I was where you could not hear the report of my rifle, which would be at minimum, 500 meters (though I'm not exactly sure) so that run would be suicide!))
-
((Ok, dude. What the f**k ever. Just disregard that then and move on.))
-
(( and yep. French forces of the interior, or FFI was the French resistance when France was being liberated))
-
((Fox, your taking it too literally, friend. Just let it be whatever, we aren't looking for historical accuracy.))
-
((Alright. Herman and Magnolia will just stand there until I am sure they won't mess something up. :3))
-
"Ahhh!!" *Zaida woke up in a panic sitting up she was having a nightmare about the war..*
-
(( sorry for being a bit of a jerk, Acon ))
((And additionally, I WANT. Historical accuracy. It's fun, at least to me.))
-
((No big, Fox. I was bein a bit of b**ch. X3 And I agree, historical accuracy is fun. WWII just isn't one of my strong points. >:3))
-
((I believe there was miscommunication; I meant historical accuracy as in realism. I didn't mean like the Germans win the war. I just don't feel like getting my book to look up round sizes and magazine capacities for each gun that I use, y'know?))
-
(( I knew the FFI existed because of armbands from several French partisans from a tactical I was at. (Operation cobra 2013 in floral, Alabama), so it's not like I had to look it up specifically for this. Anyways, I've got to do some homework, so I'll be gone for a bit. Hopefully not too long.))
-
((A'ight.))
Ray drove the tank over to Magnolia and Herman, and popped the top. "Come on! Get in!"
-
Herman and Magnolia gave each other a look before climbing into the tank.
-
Ray kicked the vehicle into high gear, and drove away from the base, spraying the tree line with machinegun fire and 20mm shells.
-
Herman crossed one leg over the other and cracked a smirk. "In all my days, I have never seen a man more dedicated to his job than Rayleonarde."
-
Ray cackled. "You think because I've been demoted, I'll quit!?" He laughed maniacally, as bits of shrubbery and enemy soldiers flew through the sky.
-
*she sits up looking at the furr that saved her and joseph* "thank you... I didn't get your name..?"
-
Magnolia smirked. "Sure as hell stoped you from lunch under the tower though." She teased.
-
Ray accelerated quickly, and drove the vehicle over a wounded enemy. He turned to Magnolia. "That's because I couldn't pull those strings. If I could have, I would've."
-
Magnolia shrugged. "Yeah yeah. Just make sure you hit everyone of those idiots." She poked Ray's cheek.
-
The mounted machinegun barked to life, tearing a running soldier to shreds. "That would be rude...misery loves company, y'know." He drove slowly over the soldier, listening to him scream as his bones cracked.
-
This mission is going to hell I a handbasket!
The building where his commandos were at was on fire and, the support team he has in the woods is being ripped to shreds by that tank.
He hoped that one of the member a of his commando team had enough sense to try and find a panzerfaust to use against that tank.
Luckily, one of them did; he could see the end of a panzerfaust poking through a window (at the tank).
-
Ray felt the tank shutter from the panzerfaust rocket, and traversed the turret. He sighted the building he figured the shot came from, and opened fire. The building shook as round after round of 20mm HE shells slammed it. Bodies, whole and otherwise, flew from the windows. Ray cackled like a madman, before sweeping machinegun fire over the building, and across the field.
-
*she stood up relaxing herself for a bit* "ok I must go now.." *she walks slowly to her jeep*
-
Herman sighed. "Let's hope he doesn't open up any friendly fire." Magnolia nodded in agreement and ran a paw through her long hair.
-
The machine gun choked, as did the cannon. Ray panted, a maniacal smile across his face. "I....I got them..." He turned, and looked at Herman. "I didn't hit a single German, Herman. I've too steady of shot for that."
-
Magnolia giggled. "That rhymed." Herman chuckled and clapped Ray on the shoulder. "I figured you wouldn't. Now, lets go catch a bite; I'm starving as all hell."
-
Ray grinned, and played with the controls. "To Paris! For lunch under the Eiffel Tower!" He drove the tank back onto the main path, and onto the street.
-
"Uuhh I'm hungry.." *she drives off to the Lily's diner and sits alone on a table ordering a vanilla and a breakfast sandwich taking a bite and then looking thew the newspaper since there was nothing left to read*
-
Herman climbed out of the tank once they reached their destination. He held out a loving paw for Magnolia to climb out as well. "At last! A proper lunch for a proper lady." Magnolia said with a chuckle.
-
Ray kicked the driver door open with a clank, and climbed out. "Ah...fresh air." He climbed out, and walked to Herman.
-
Herman took a deep breath before popping a cigar between his lips. "A nice day, it is. Where shall we eat?"
-
Ray shrugged, and looked around. "Looks like a nice little cafe there, sits right under the tower."
-
Herman scanned the cafe with critical eyes and slowly nodded. "Alright. Should be a good time." Magnolia had already started to make her way to the cafe. Herman followed and held the door for her when they arrived.
-
*Zaida sits eating her sandwich hearing furrs come in every minute or so* "damn it's getting packed.."
-
Nice place, Paris. With the nazis there? Not so much. Of course, the nazis tend to do that to things. He was here to make sure that the nazis wouldn't do that to any place else.
After the near complete destruction of his former resistance cell near Lyons, HQ had told him to meet up with a cell in Paris, and join them if possible. He had been told to 'meet the man at the table for three in the right corner of the tower.'
So he did.
-
Ray fell in behind Herman, staying in step with him.

-
((*Rubs defibrillators* CLEAR!))
-
Ben was in airborn division and he was packing up his equipment getting ready for the jump the next day
-
*Zaida enters the jeep and drive towards the base while the furrs stopped and stared at her when she passes by*
-
The man that they were supposed to contact was
A bust. He wasn't there, and they damn near got found by a group of geschtapo. So for now, it would just be four operationally able furs. They needed medical supplies, and a medic, to treat them. Hopefully both could be air-dropped in.
-
Ben knew he'd be dropping into a hot zone so he packed plenty of amo and med sups
-
Ray sat down in the small cafe, setting his pack beside his seat. The sun glinted off of the silver buttons on his uniform, and reflected off of his boots. He watched, as Herman and Magnolia shared a moment together, and he smiled. Ray wasn't the one who usually got happy for another, and was rarely happy himself, but he smiled as they stood together. He hoped that, maybe one day, he too, would have someone of his own. Ray blinked, and shook his head, shouting at himself mentally. What woman would want a man like you, huh!? Such a checkered past, and you're too ruthless to boot! You'd have her out of the house if you even thought she was conspiring against you! He sighed, and accepted his fate to be alone. Ray hoped Herman's relationship with Magnolia would last. He liked Magnolia, personally. She was just as, if not more, ruthless than himself. Granted, she'd been doing off paper work, where everything Ray had done was recorded. Magnolia also seemed to keep her composure, no matter what happened. Ray recalled one time, back when he was still Obersturmfurher, how she whipped Wilhelm, then Ray's machinegunner, because there was a rough spot on his boots. He sighed, and looked on. If only there was another like her...maybe then I'd have a chance.
-
Herman said something to make Magnolia laugh and flash him a genuine smile of white teeth and adoring eyes, something she only reserved for the two men that mattered most to her, the only men that meant anything to her really. Magnolia leaned upward to kiss Herman lovingly, something she hadn't been able to do all that morning, but when she did she could feel something in her chest ached and she had to force her eye closed as the small ache turned to a very sharp pain. When she pulled away from Herman she had to think fast and force a smile as she fought the urge to vomit, not because of Herman but because of two other unpleasant factors that may change a lot in the near future. She wanted to tell Herman about one of those game changers but didn't want to alarm him with another child that she may just miscarry again or it may turn out to be still born. 'No,' she thought. 'It's too dangerous a time to tell him about that. Not to mention, he'd only blab to Rayleonarde about it and I will have put both their lives at risk by clouding their minds with worry.' Herman felt a twinge of suspicion and asked Magnolia what was wrong. She gave a reassuring smile and merely told him it was just that time if the month. He was non the wiser and accepted this response, planting a kiss on her forehead.
-
Magnolia conned a fur out to of a free drink with promises she had no intention of keeping. Once she blew a final kiss, she took her tea and sat down across from Rayleonarde.
-
A cold smile grew on Ray's face. "Every time we go to public places, you always seem to charm someone out of something." He chuckled. "Oh well, if it works for you." He could smell something was off with Magnolia, but he didn't want to say. If she wanted him to know, she'd tell him.
-
Magnolia grinned over the rim of her tea cup while she blew on it. "What was and what will be will soon be meaningless, said the sun to the ancient tandem war elephant." She quipped. Herman took his seat beside Magnolia and took her cup out of her paws to sip at it.
-
Ray looked at Magnolia, curiously for a moment, before looking at Herman. "Well, here we are, back in Paris." He wondered what Herman's plans were.
-
Herman chuckled. "This is true. We could go anywhere." He mused. Magnolia took back her tea with a smirk. "We should get a bottle of wine." He thought aloud.
-
Ray shrugged. "I don't drink much, Herman. But, if you and Magnolia are willing, I shall partake."
-
Magnolia shook her head. "I'll have to pass on that one as well, Herman." Herman's eyes widened. "You too, Mags? You don't want wine?" He couldn't believe his ears. Magnolia Lovien doesn't want alcohol.
-
Ray looked at Magnolia, incredulous, After a few moments, and wracking his brain, he took a shot. "Magnolia...you...you aren't with child, are you?"
-
Magnolia sighed. "Of course not. I just want to stay sober for a while." She lied through clenched teeth.
-
Ray knew she was lying, but didn't wish to call her bluff. He nodded, and raised his paws. "I'm sorry. I was assuming to much."
-
I stand in the back of a drop ship and wait for the green light and the go go go, our gear was double checked and we all gave a thumbs up I readied my Thompson
-
Magnolia shook her head with a tight smile. "It's fine." Herman raised a brow and passed a quizzical look Ray's way.
-
Ray shrugged, and shook his head, as if he was confused.
-
Herman shrugged and stood. "I am going to run across the street. I shall return." Herman announced before leaving the cafe. Magnolia turned to Ray with a roll of her eyes.
-
Ray placed one leg over the other, and looked at Magnolia. "When did you find out?" He bit at his claws, waiting for an answer.
-
Magnolia set her tea down, thinking of the best way to share the news. "Yesterday. When I had a vomiting fit just after breakfast." She informed.
-
Ray sighed. "And Herman doesn't know? I'm impressed, Magnolia."
-
Magnolia chuckled. "No, he doesn't. I pride myself in my sneaky ways. I bet he also didn't know there were three more prior."
-
Ray shook his head. "You are, without doubt, the most impressive woman I've ever met." He looked her up and down. "How will this affect your involvement with the war?"
-
Rounds fly through the hull and hit a few men they collapse and the light turns green a couple body's fall out as we jump, I pull the rip cord and my parachute comes out rounds still fly past me
-
Magnolia shook her head. "If this pregnancy is anything like the others, I will miscarry in a month or so." She sighed sadly.
-
((Recap, sorry I might ask once in a while cuz I'm in school lol))
-
The resistance cell he had originally been dropped in to support took it's shelter in a cave about halfway between the town of Lyons and Paris. They were to receive several medical personnel, as well as a few commandos from the Us airborne. Unfortunately, a Nazi AA gun had spotted them, and they were taking fire. He hoped that at least one of the medics would make it out.
-
Ray patted Magnolia's paw. "Don't think like that, I believe it will be fine. Don't ask me how, I can just feel it."
-
Magnolia sighed. "One can only hope. If it's anything like Herman, it'll fight to live like all hell broke lose." She joked. Magnolia thought for a moment. "Did you ever get that... package I sent to you a while back?"
-
Ray blinked. "I've received a few packages, Magnolia. Some from high command, some from women in the fatherland, you'll have to be a touch more specific. What were it's contents?"
-
*zaida stops at the hospital limping* "ah!! F**k!!!"
-
Magnolia laughed, relief washing over her. "If you can't remember what it had in it, then you haven't opened it yet." She let out a shaking breath. "Good. If you do find it, don't open it. Not yet at least."
-
Ray nodded. "Fair enough. You want me to get you anything? Water, soda, anything?"
-
Magnolia shook her head. "No. I should be fine." She put on a smirk and rested her chin on the backs of her paws, her elbows resting on the table. "Don't think I didn't catch that women from the fatherland bit. What women?"
-
Ray chuckled nervously, and pulled at the collar of his shirt. "W-Well. There were a couple of young women who had accosted me in one of the old pubs. A few things led to another and...long story short, I got a free night at the inn."
-
Magnolia chuckled and raised a finger like a scolding teacher to her ignorant student. "And this is why we don't go home with strangers." She teased.
-
Ray chuckled. "I didn't go home with strangers. It was a guestroom...kind of broken now..." He rubbed the back of his neck.
-
Magnolia leaned back in her seat. "We all have secret flings, Rayleonarde. Nothing to get all jumpy about." She flashed a sly grin at the man working the cafe. He winked.
-
*Zaida walks into the hospital sitting down while rubbing her cut open leg* "uh!! DAMMIT!!" *she lays back watching people get called into the doctors room getting stitches, surgery, and medication* "this is gonna take forever..." *she lays back in her chair relaxing and falling asleep*
-
I hit the ground with a faint thud then take off the parachute and I put my helmet on walking around looking for a few other men the sound of german artillery and shouting nearby
-
Lee was out as a sort of scout, looking for the troopers. While he was doing this, he heard a rustle in the trees.
"Whiskey!" He called out, hoping to hear the proper reply. The airborne guys had been briefed on this. It was "buckshot"
-
Herman rentered the cafe with cigar hanging from his lips. He took his place back at Magnolia's side.
-
I'm walking through some trees and hear somebody say whiskey I reply from what we were briefed with "Buckshot" I say quietly
-
After an our or so of walking around the small town, Magnolia made Ray and Herman stop as she decided to run into a small shop for some tea to bring back with her.
-
"Oh thank god..." He mutters
"Hey, airborne guy, know if any of the medics made it out?"
-
(Oops lol I don't know what I just post earlier ok)
*Zaida heard her name while sleeping* "Zaida... Zaida Miranda.."
*zaida wakes up* "hmm!?!" *she gets up walking to the doctors room laying on the bed waiting for the doctor to enter the room*
-
"The two in front of me died so I have no clue I have some med sups though" looks around "where's our objective and why weren't the AA guns taken out like we were briefed on"
-
Ray leaned against the wall beside the door, and sighed. "How long do you think she'll be in there, Herman?" He pulled a pocket watch from his coat, and watched it tick along.
-
Herman thought with a sigh. "For tea? She'll be in there for a few hours. We can find something to kill the time?" Herman shoved his paws in his pockets.
-
Ray shrugged, and pointed at a male tailor. "We could get some new civilian clothes. I'm tired of being watched from the windows." He walked towards the tailors, flipping through what he earned while he was an officer.
-
*once the doctor came in* "ah Zaida... What have You gotten in to now?
*zaida rolled her eyes* "well some assholes got me during war.."
*doctor quazman looked at her* "ah come on let's not talk like that.. Your lucky you even lived.." *he says while looking back at her leg* "well I'm going to start now" *he grabs the stitching materials and gives her pills them begins to stitch up the wound*
-
"Well..." He hisses "we had a lot more guys when we were to take out the AA gun... There's only four able bodies soldiers. We couldn't even try to take that thing out."
-
"It's fine fight the wars you can win, so what's the next objective"
-
Herman followed after Rayleonarde with an impressed smirk. "That all yours? Must have been nice not having to stare death in his face all that much."
-
"Well..." He goes "the plane is f*cked. No point in taking out the AA gun.we need to regroup, first. I say we look for any other troopers we can find."
-
Let's go, shoot the Germans as you see em
-
Ray walked in, and talked with the clerk. After a few minutes, he answered Herman, while they were in changing rooms, trying on all sorts of clothing. "It's a little harder when you are Death." After a few more minutes, Ray stepped out, wearing a light green coat, blue shirt, and denim pants, complete with simple shoes. He took his uniform, and folded it neatly. "Herman, how's it comin'?"
-
Lee nods, raises his Springfield rifle, and stars moving.
-
Herman stepped into the open dressed in an outfit of a white button down with its top fee buttons undone, black pants and a matching jacket with its cuffs folded up to show his forearms. "Swell." She answered with a smirk. "Magnolia won't bearable to keep her paws off me."
-
Ray chuckled, and walked up to the cashier. Ray bought two messenger bags, and handed one to Herman. Ray payed, and walked out, secreting is uniform in the bag.
-
*almost feeling like hours doctor Quazman was done stitching her up* "ok Zaida be careful.."
Zaida:"yea I know.." *she limps outside seeing the fur, Joseph from the other night* "oh hey weren't you the fur that I meet, uh well I'm Zaida I'm sorry I wasn't a big help the other night.." *she extends her paw to shake his hand*
-
I move behind you checking my Thompson
-
Herman took the bag and did the same with his own uniform. Magnolia had not taken as long as expected and walked out of the shop with a bag full of teas and other herbs. "My, my." She almost drooled in delight. "Shopping were you?"
-
Ray raised his paw sheepishly. "My idea. I thought we should try and blend in." He pointed at Magnolia, and tapped his neck, signaling her to remove the silver eagles from her jacket collar.
-
It took her a moment, but Magnolia finally registered what Ray was telling her. She removed the pins and stuffed them into her pocket. She also tucked her necklace into her top to hide the pendant that dangled from it.
-
Ray winked, and pulled Herman and Acon together. "Oh, I love being out of uniform! Herman! Why didn't you tell me it felt so free?!"
-
Herman laughed. "If you think that's fun, try running around completely nude." Magnolia rolled her eyes with a snort.
-
Ray squeeze them one last time, before releasing them. "Way too much information, Herman. I might be your intelligence officer, but I don't need to know about what you and Magnolia have done privately." Ray hitched the bag up on his shoulder, and walked around, feeling free from the oppression of being enlisted.
-
Magnolia removed her jacket and held it on her arm. She moved to take a seat on short brick wall that separated the town from a small park. She took the pins from her hair and let it cascade down her back in long pink waves. She sighed in exhaustion and kicked off her shoes. Herman pat her shoulder and kissed her on the cheek.
-
Ray sat beside Magnolia, and looked out at the park, watching people play and relax. "I remember a park near Berlin my parents used to take me to. We'd sit on these small chairs, and then we'd go play on the swing set. After that, we'd go get ice cream." He sighed.
-
Magnolia looked to Ray with a smile. "I hope that I can do that with..." she trailed off as she looked back to the park.
-
Ray nodded. "I'm sure you will." He looked out for a moment, before commenting. "Y'know, we could just leave. You, me, and Herman. We all know enough to go underground."
-
Magnolia nodded. "Herman and I have talked about it. I need to. Rayleonarde, I can't raise this child in a war."
-
Ray nodded, and threw the uniform to the side. "I've grown tired of fighting, anyway. I'll help you, in anyway I can."
-
Magnolia hugged Ray tight and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you, Ray."
-
*Zaida smiles at joseph* "well I'm glad your doing good, I got to go... To base haha those rookies ain't gonna teach themselves" *she begins to limp away humming to herself as she entered the jeep*
-
Ray patted Magnolia's back lightly. "It's no trouble. I mean...we could be in a lot of trouble, but...the sentiment is the same." He chuckled.
-
Herman stubbed out a cigarette he had in his mouth and rolled his shoulders. "Leaving are we?" He asked with a raised brow and a grin.
-
Ray looked at Magnolia for a moment, before looking at Herman. "I assume you've a plan?"
-
"Plan?" Herman shrugged and flicked the cigarette butt away from him. "Pack our shit and leave."
-
Ray shook his head. "We'll have to leave anything we have at home, Herman. We've got to pack light. All of our stuff's marked, remember? We'll have to start anew." He shrugged. "I'm sorry."
-
Herman laughed coldly. "Huh. We will..." He thought with a snort. "When are we doing this?"
-
Ray shrugged. "Well, after the experiments we went through...we've got all the time in the world, Herman. We could go today, or we could go in a month."
-
I throw the rifle over my shoulder on the strap and pull out a pack of cigarettes
-
Magnolia shook her head. "We should wait a little while. We need to plan a little better than this." Herman nodded in agreement.
-
Ray nodded, and sighed. "Good, because I'm not entirely sure what we're gonna do here, anyway."
-
I pull out a lighter and put the end of the cigarette in my mouth lighting it taking a huff then exhale sharply smoke leaving my mouth
-
Magnolia looked up at Herman who seemed lost in his thoughts. She looked back down at her shoes and bare feet. "Where should we go?"
-
Ray sighed. "Cherbourg. We'd have a hell of a time dodging patrols any farther back. The Americans are planning an invasion along the coast. If we time it right, we'll reach Cherbourg just as the Americans land. That'll divert attention, and we can wait to see what happens. If worst comes to worst, we can buy passage to England, or swim if we have to."
-
Magnolia nodded and messed with the hem of her top. Herman sighed. "Sound good to me." Herman eyed Magnolia forma moment. "Let's get Mags in bed. She looks exhausted." He pat Magnolia's head with a warm smile and she returned it.
-
Ray looped himself under Magnolia's arm, and helped her to her feet. "Alright, I know there's an inn right around the corner there." He waited for Herman to move, as Ray sat under Magnolia's arm like a crutch.
-
Herman led Ray into the inn that was not too far from where they were settled. Unfortunately, since Magnolia obviously wasn't in the best of health, they had to pay for a room and couldn't charm their way into a free one. Herman directed Ray up a few stairs and into a room.
-
Ray lowered Magnolia onto the bed. He looked at Herman. "I assume you'll be the one to get her dressed for bed, I'll step out, and let you two alone." He walked back down to the reception floor, and waited for Herman to come get him.
-
*Zaida arrives at a inn walking in waving to go man working there and into her room taking out some items and walking out and back in her jeep*
-
Herman had Magnolia dress in no time. Although hard, once he had her day clothes off, it was almost nothing to get nigh clothes on. Herman gingerly walked out of the room and down stairs to retrieve Ray.
-
Ray watched Herman walk down the stairs, greeting him with a smile. "So, Magnolia's asleep?" He kicked around the idea of telling Herman that she was with child.
-
I keep smoking as we regroup into a small force not nearly enough to envade a small german city
-
Herman smiled, but it was tight and had an edge to it. "Yep. Sleeping like a baby." Herman knew exactly what he was doing and kept his eyes glued on Ray in a way that told Herman knew Ray wasnt telling him something.
-
Ray kept his gaze like steel, and stared at Herman. "Hmm, that's nice to hear." He watched Herman sit across from him.
-
Herman's smile widened and he leaned forward in his seat, his paws clasped between his open knees. "Ah, it may seem we are evenly matched... but this is one staring contest you're gonna lose, dumb ass." He chuckled.
-
Ray chuckled, and raised his paws, closing his eyes. "Fine, fine. You've won." He leaned forward, and lit a cigarette with a lighter. "When'd you figure it out?" Ray didn't want to give too much information away, in case Herman didn't know.
-
Herman shook his head. "Magnolia Lovien doesn't pass up wine unless she's trying to get rid of worms or the threat of pregnancy is among us."
-
Ray nodded. "She is with child, yes. Magnolia didn't want to tell you, for fear you'd do something drastic."
-
Herman sighed. "Yes, she's done this three times before. I think we've known her long enough to catch her little tells. They may be faint, but they're still there."
-
*she tries to turn the jeep on but doesn't budge* "Jesus you gotta be kidding" *she takes off her jacket wearing a tang top shirt She lifted the front of the car and quickly begins to work on it*
-
After a few hours, Magnolia woke to go to the bathroom. Suddenly, she let out an ear splitting wail.
-
Ray flinched, and ran upstairs. He stopped, and knocked on the bathroom door. "M-Magnolia, are you...?" Ray didn't want to walk in on her half dressed, so he waited for her to open the door when she was ready.
-
Magnolia stared at her blood covered paws as tears ran down her cheeks. She didn't answer Ray for a while before she wrapped a bloodied heap in a towel and shoved it in a shoe box. She opened the door slightly and pushed out the box to Ray's feet. "Get rid of it. Please." She sobbed.
-
Ray sighed, and brought the box down, and outside. He walked over to a bridge, and gently tossed the box into the river. Ray watched the box float away, and walked back to the inn.
-
Before Ray returned, Magnolia had gotten out of her bloodied night clothes and had slipped into one of Herman's shirts. She knelt on the bathroom floor as she tried to clean up the blood.
-
Ray walked passed the sleeping Herman, and up to the room. He walked in, grabbed a towel, and knelt beside Magnolia, trying to help her.
-
"Why... does this keep happening?" Magnolia asked no one in particular. She held her head in her paws as she began to cry again.
-
Ray sighed, and hugged Magnolia, petting her in an attempt to calm her. "Shh...Shh...It's just the war. It's not the time for life, but for death." He looked at the mirror, and saw himself staring back. He'd become the polar opposite of who he was days before. If Ray was still an officer, he would have kicked Magnolia to the ground, and called her weak. But now, he found himself carrying for her.
-
Magnolia wiped her eyes and looked in the mirror as well, but she found herself looking into the face of a coward and a weak little girl. "Look at it." She sneared. "That thing staring back at me. A disgusting, weak little whore." She narrowed her eyes at her own reflection.
-
Ray shook his head, and turned Magnolia to face him. His gaze had become steely, and his voice returned to it's official, commanding tone. "Magnolia Lovien. You are not a whore, you are a mother, who just lost her forth potential child! Do not beat yourself up for being emotional. I can only imagine what you're feeling right now."
-
Magnolia fraught to keep her stone cold glare, but found herself softening. "What would Herman think? If he knew. He'd never love me again."
-
He kept his steel glare, knowing Magnolia was buckling. "It's not you, it's stress. Your body can't cope with war, and a child. When we reach Cherbourg, and the Americans land, you'll feel much better."
-
Magnolia strained to take on Ray's glare like she always did, but lowered her head in defeat. "Once upon a time, I could take on that glare of yours and hold it till I was blue in the face."
-
Ray's face didn't change. "Yes, but not now. You're emotions are shot right now, as a woman's should be after an event like that." He stood, and helped Magnolia to her feet. "Come on, let's get you to bed. I'll talk with Herman later."
-
Magnolia nodded and climbed into bed. As she did so, she thought about her other problem and hugged her pillow like a frightened child.
-
Ray let himself soften, and he sat on the edge of the bed, patting Magnolia's shoulder, trying to soothe her. He waited for her to fall asleep, before he would confront Herman.
-
Magnolia closed her eyes and fell asleep after she was sure all her tears for the night were used up.
Herman sat downstairs with his feet propped up on a table.
-
Ray sighed, and stood. He walked from the room, and back to the waiting room. Ray sat across from Herman, with his leg crossed over the other, as he waited for Herman to awake.
-
Herman finally stretched after a half hour and removed the book he had placed over his nose to get rid of the light. He yawned and smiled at Ray. "So... how has she been?" He pointed upstairs.
-
Ray sighed, and rubbed his eyes. "Miscarriage. That's number four." He looked Herman in the face. "But, it's not her fault. It's this damn war. She's stressed beyond compare, and her body is rejecting any additional stress. After we get to Cherbourg, and the Americans land, she should be fine. But until then, she won't be able to bear children. Don't think anything less of her because of this." Ray leaned back, and looked at the ceiling, closing his eyes.
-
Herman sighed and kept a watchful eye on his friend. "Why on earth would I think less of her? D-did she say that to you?" He was happy Magnolia was willing to share this at all, but he was also a bit hurt that she didn't feel like she could share it with him.
-
Ray nodded. "Yes, she did. I don't know why she didn't want to talk to you about it it. Maybe she didn't want you to worry, maybe she wanted to talk to me. I don't know." He yawned. "Don't feel too bad about it. She's scared, that's all."
-
Herman put on a sad smile and nodded. "Scared.... that's all." He repeated. Herman knew how Magnolia really felt and it saddened him to no end, but he wanted nothing more than her happiness and would make sure happy was how she felt. Even if meant letting the woman he loved chase after another. "That's all."
-
Ray looked over at the clock, and stood. He stretched, and looked up the stairs. "Well, I'm gonna head up. Good night, Herman." Ray walked up the stairs, and entered the room. He walked over to the couch, laid down, and quickly fell asleep.
-
Herman went up shortly after Rayleonarde did and had set himself on the floor next to a sleeping Magnolia. He tried closing his eyes to sleep, but only found himself staying awake. He sighed and stared out the window the rest kf the night.
-
We set up a small defensive perimeter as the force grows larger
-
"Well," lee goes "I'll take the medics, and some supplies back to my base, if we can spare them."
-
Magnolia woke to find herself tangled in her sheets. She looked from Herman to Rayleonarde with a smile and got out of bed, gingerly dressing and leaving the inn for breakfast.
-
Ray awoke shortly after Magnolia woke, and he followed behind her...if anything, he followed because he was worried about what she would do.
-
Magnolia turned down an ally that led behind a bar. She cracked a smile when she came to a small patch of barrels. She stood infront of them with a look of content. "Hello, old friends." She greeted before opening one and plunging her face into its contents.
-
Ray leaned against the wall, just a few feet away from Magnolia. He shook his head, and chuckled quietly.
-
Magnolia slurped up more than half the wine in the barrel she was in before she pulled her head and struggled to stay upright. A smile played across her face as she stumbled out of the ally on legs like rubber, not even noticing Rayleonarde had followed her.
-
Ray caught Magnolia just before she fell. He chuckled, and helped her stay upright.
-
*Zaida looked in the front of the jeep seeing she needed some parts to fix it and began to walk to the car repair shop mumbling to herself * "f**k the general is gonna be pissed at me once I get to base" *she arrived at the repair shop burying a few items for the jeep*
-
Magnolia looked at Ray with wide eyes. "Rayleonarde! How did you get here so fast?" She looked around for a time machine or any kind of magic dust. "Are you a time wizard?"
-
Ray shook his head. "You know I'm one for efficiency, and speed." He chuckled. "Or, perhaps you are not as fast as you think."
-
Magnolia pursed her lips and narrowed her glassy eyes. "Is that a challenge?" She withdrew a short twig head plucked from a tree branch.
-
Ray smiled. "I don't think you're in any position for a competition, Magnolia."
-
Magnolia quickly jabbed the stick into Ray's chest several times, but of course didn't even get through his jacket. "Challenger defeated!" She announced.
-
Ray sighed, and smiled. "Yes, challenger defeated."
-
Magnolia raised a brow and moved closer to Ray, her nose just a few centimeters away from his. "I may just let you walk away with your life. But I require a reward."
-
Ray raised an eyebrow. "And what would that be?"
-
Magnolia gave Ray a sly smile before she leaned forward and kissed him deeply. She pulled away after a moment and laughed. "A kiss from a handsome man with a lot of power." She pulled away from Ray and skipped off in a random direction.
-
Ray blinked, and touched his lips. He stood, confused, unsure of how to approach the situation.
-
"Bar keep, another!" Magnolia was heard yelling in a building that was not a bar at all.
-
Ray walked up to Magnolia, and helped her to a bench. "Magnolia, that's a tailor, come on, I'll take you to a bar...or home."
-
Magnolia stumbled to sit. "That son of a b**ch tried putting needles in my drink." She growled.
-
Ray sat, and looked around. "Who put needles in your drink?"
-
Magnolia held up a pin cushion and pointed back down to the tailor. "Who do you think?"
-
Ray chuckled, and took the pincushion. "I don't think he meant to, Magnolia."
-
Magnolia glared at it. "Yeah that's what they all say." She stood and brushed herself off.
-
"Let's get you back to the room, okay? You're not exactly in your right state of mind." Ray stood, and held out a paw to Magnolia.
-
Magnolia looked at Ray's outstretched paw for a moment before she slapped it like a high fine. "Yeah!"
-
Ray sighed, and sat beside Magnolia. "Okay...when you come up with a good idea, let me know."
-
Magnolia raised a brow and moved to sit in Ray's lap. "Plan? Plan for what?"
-
Ray let Magnolia sit, and spoke. "I don't know, anything, really."
-
Magnolia shrugged. "I don't know. I'm sobering though and I don't like it."
-
"What, you want to go back to those barrels?" Ray shrugged. "I guess I can't blame you."
-
Magnolia shook her head and curled up closer to Ray. "No. Was Herman still asleep when you left?"
-
Ray shrugged. "I think so, why?"
-
"Just wondering." Magnolia wondered if Herman was up now. "What are we going to do today? What can we do today?"
-
Ray shrugged. "We could do whatever, really. As long as we don't lead on we're trying to desert the Fatherland."
-
Magnolia opened her mouth to speak, but thought against it and snapped her mouth shut. She sat in silence for a while longer before she uncurled herself from Ray's lap and stood. "Let's go back to the room. Herman may be up now."
-
Magnolia walked back to the inn and up the stairs to the room.
-
Ray stood, and followed Magnolia. Upon reaching the lobby, he stopped, and sat in a chair.
-
Magnolia woke Herman with a nudge to his shoulder. He reluctantly stood and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He scratched the back of his head as he walked down to the lobby.
-
Ray waved at Herman, and smiled.
-
Herman spotted Ray and smiled at him as he made his way to take the seat next to him. "Morning." He greeted.
-
"Good morning." Ray smiled. "Magnolia certainly got a jump on the day."
-
Herman rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I could smell the booze on her." He flashed a smile to Ray as he slipped on his boots. "By the looks of things and the smell of a woman's perfume, you had a pretty eventful morning as well." He raised a brow.
-
Ray shrugged. "I helped Magnolia stay upright, and she attacked me with a twig. Not the most eventful day."
-
Herman smiled and raised a brow. "Oh yeah? She went to the barrel did she?"
-
Ray nodded. "Yes."
-
Herman smirked and sat back in his seat. "Now that Maggie isn't pregnant anymore, what will we do? It should be easier to get her out of here."
-
Ray nodded. "We could just grab a train, and head to Cherbourg."
-
Herman tapped a claw to his teeth as he thought. "We should. We need to do it soon. Like within the day soon." Herman looked up the stairs as Magnolia was making her way down.
-
Ray looked in his pockets, and winced. "If ticket prices haven't changed, I only have enough for two tickets." He sighed, and looked at Herman for a moment, before giving him the money. "You two go, I'll catch up on my own, okay?"
-
Herman shook his head. "No Ray, I... I can't leave you like that. Even if I wanted to, Magnolia would never stand for it. She listens to you; you take her... please."
-
Ray sighed. "If that is what you wish, Herman. Though...I want you to talk to Magnolia about it, okay? You leaving her behind her back...I won't stand for it."
-
Herman nodded got up from his seat. "I will." Magnolia was at a counter, thanking a man for letting them stay there and for putting up with any tomfoolery that might have gone down between Herman, Rayleonarde, and anyone who might have crossed their peripheral version.
-
Ray stood, and walked out of the inn. He waited for Magnolia and Herman.
-
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Magnolia yelled at Herman after he told her the plan. Herman yelped, a bit girlishly, when Magnolia slapped him and followed him out of the inn. "Magnolia, I'm sorry. But its either I stay or Ray stays and I knew you wouldn't want that." Magnolia turned to Ray and stared at him, waiting for a response.
-
Ray shrugged. "I don't have enough money to buy three tickets. I'd much rather you and Herman stay together, than you and I...and as for you staying? Don't even think about it."
-
Herman sighed. "Magnolia, look. You and Rayleonarde go. I have to stay, I have to die here." He let his ears drop. Magnolia looked at Herman in horror. "What are you saying?" She demanded. Herman stuck his paws in his pockets. "Mags... I'll get the money to catch up and if I don't die before then, I'll be right behind you."
-
Ray looked at Herman, confused. He wasn't sure what his friend was on about, and was curious.
-
Magnolia snarled at Herman. "You're an idiot." Herman signed and looked at her with a coy smile. "Magnolia, every man of any kind of respect in my family has died in battle. What will it look like if I'm just abandoning all this. I'll try my best to stay alive long enough to catch up to you, but if I die here, it will have been what was meant to happen."
-
Ray sighed. "I see where you're coming from, Herman."
-
Magnolia looked to Ray in disbelief. "Rayleonarde, you can't be serious." Herman shook his head. "Ray, please just take her and get her out of here." Herman grabbed Magnolia's shoulders and kissed her before he turned and left without another word.
-
Ray put his arm around Magnolia, trying to console her, as he walked the opposite direction from Herman, towards the train station. "Come on, Magnolia." He felt awful for pulling apart such a loving couple, and even more that they were the closest things to friends he had.
-
Magnolia's tears flowed down her cheeks as they made their way to the station. She watched Herman disappear in the distance.
-
Ray held Magnolia closer, and walked into the station. He payed for the tickets, and shepherded her into a seat. Ray sat across from her, holding her paws in his. "M-Magnolia...I'm sorry."
-
Magnolia stared at her paws, motionless as tears were still flowing off of her chin. "What if he doesn't..."
-
Ray sighed. "No, Herman will survive, and endure. I promise you, you and Herman will be together."
-
Magnolia let out a laugh that was slightly faltered by sobbing. "I don't know what to say to you. I wanna tell you but I can't. Herman knows and only wants my happiness, but I can't do this to him. I don't know. Why, Rayleonarde. Why are you doing thus to me?"
-
Ray sighed, and hugged Magnolia. "Herman wants you to survive, to have children. He thought you would...I...I don't know..." He released Magnolia, and looked down. A tear fell from his muzzle. "I...I'm sorry, Magnolia."
-
Magnolia sniffled and wiped her face with her sleeve. "What is and what will be will soon be meaningless. Said the sun to the ancient tandem war elephant." She quipped, bringing her knees close to her chest.
-
Ray patted her shoulder, and leaned back, closing his eyes. "Now is all that matters."
-
Magnolia jolted awake to find herself still on the train. Her eyes stung from crying and her mouth was dry from yelling at Ray for reasons unknown to even her.
-
Ray was looking out the window, watching the trees go by.
-
"Rayleonarde..." Magnolia sat upright and took a drink from a half empty glass of water. She wanted to say something but wasn't sure what.
-
Ray looked at Magnolia. "Hmm?"
-
Magnolia shock her head. "N-nothing. Are we close?" She could have just looked for a landmark outside but felt she should look for anyway to start a conversation.
-
*she gets frustrated not knowing what was wrong with the jeep* "the hell!!?"
-
Ray looked up at the clock. "Erm...no...no we're still quite the way away. Why, what's up?"
-
Magnolia smiled. "Oh... just trying to strike up conversation." She moved her fist in an upward motion to emphasise her enthusiasm.
-
Ray sighed. "Well, what do you want to talk about?" He shifted in his seat.
-
Magnolia shrugged. "Anything. Here, I'll start. Let's talk about... potatoes. Gosh they're a swell vegetable."
-
Ray shrugged. "Eh, the Russians make a neat liquor from them, but that's about all they're good for."
-
Magnolia nodded. "Mhm. Mhm. You are terrible at this." She laughed. "Don't ever go to a swingers party, Rayleonarde. You're awful at breaking the ice."
-
Ray ordered a glass of water, and grabbed an icecube. He looked at Magnolia, and crushed the cube in his paw. "Ice broken."
-
Magnolia clapped her paws. "I stand corrected. Your ice breaking skills are very exceptional."
-
Ray bowed. "Thank you."
-
Magnolia laughed and crossed her legs. She looked around for something else to talk about. Magnolia picked up a plate of cake from passing staff. Without warning, she threw it in Ray's face.
-
Ray wiped his face, and smeared it on Magnolia's face. "There."
-
Magnolia wiped her fur with her sleeve. "Eww."
-
*she fails to fix the jeep and she was impatient and began to walk to were she needed to be* "f**king jeeps I can spend my time doing that..."
-
Magnolia moved yo sit next to Ray. She used a gloved finger to scoop a bit of icing off his cheek and stuck it in her mouth.
-
By now, a good chunk of his FFI commandos had healed they were up to twelve men now. But right now, he wasn't in the base. He was on his way to hijack a train. It carried see rail high-ranking nazi officials, as well as a compliment of support troops. Since his sniper rifle would do him no good on a train, he carried a Thompson, with drum magazines. The kubelwagen drove up next to the front of the train, and all he had to do to get it to stop was to point his gun at the ferret driving the train. He smiled, did a gentlemanly bow, and jumped onto the train. His twelve commandos did as well.
-
*as Zaida walks she hears a noise coming from behind her reaction was to look but as she turned around a sharp pain went into her side, Making her fall, slamming onto the floor. She looks seeing a jeep drive off while her vision was blurry. Seeing no fur around She tries to speak only to small groan as she held the bleeding wound and the world begins to fade and blood forms around her*
-
*she begins to crawl making a blood trail forcing herself to stay awake*
-
*A Firm hand picks up zaida*"You Again?"*German screaming can be heard as fire crackles*
-
*she looks at him not hearing a word he says only hearing a ringing in her ear* "w-what.."
-
*He picks her up,his cold unblinking gas mask hides his face*
-
*she looks at the floor as she's picked up not knowing who this man was and if he was dangerous* "please d-don't hurt.. Me.." *she says weakly*
-
"Im joseph,the person you helped?...."
-
"Joseph... Oh Joseph... Hi..." *she says quietly* "what happened...?"
-
"You got shot..."*He puts her down*
-
"No no I didn't.." *she sits up* "I'm fine.." *her hand was holding the bleeding wound and she repeats* "I'm fine... Really.."
-
Ray's ears twitched, and he glared at the empty seat in front of him. "Something else is on the train...Magnolia, get down." He pulled Magnolia under the train bench, and squeezed himself under the other, holding a finger to his lips for silence.
-
Magnolia raised a brow as her ears moved. She looked questioningly at Ray.
-
There were six cars on the train, so that meant two people in each car. He was with a (French) German shepherd carrying an mp-40 in the middle car.
"This is the French forces of the interior!" He yelled in French "We are here looking for some high ranking nazi officials. Stay calm, we are not here to hurt you. If you remain in your seats, you will not be harmed." He took a breath, and then repeated the speech in German
-
Ray sighed. "Christ..." He shook his head, and stayed low in the seat. "I'm going to stay here, Magnolia. I don't know about you."
-
Magnolia sniffed the air and cracked a smile. "I smell curiosity is creeping up on me."
-
Ray shrugged. "Well, whatever you will do, I will follow, I guess. It's cramped under here, anyway." He was also curious to see if any of the commandos would recognize him.
-
*she looked to her side and saw the gunshot* "oh... I'm I'm not okay.." *she says weakly closing her eyes slowly*
-
Magnolia crawled out from under the bench, very low to the ground. She poked her head around the corner at the furs that had buried into the train. "Hmm.... seems pests have invaded this wonderful train. Shame..."
-
*she shakes her head and her eyes widen not wanting to go in a coma or die she sat there quietly until looking at Joseph* "thanks for helping me.." *she says watching him wrap her wound with bandages*
-
He walked forward, studying the faces of the passengers. He would have to find them himself. If they were smart, they'd be wearing civilian clothing. Nazis weren't too well liked around these parts.
-
Magnolia stole quick glances at other people on the train and crawled out a little farther to catch what might be happening.
-
((You guys! We should bring this back! But how? O_O))
-
((I know!))
"Hey!" Lee shouted, pointing his Thompson at Acon "back in your seat!"
-
((Magnolia, darling. XD))
Magnolia looked at Lee with pursed lips. "I was just curious. What exactly is going on?"
-
((Sorry! :p))
"We're FFI." He said in French "looking for nazi officers."
-
"My my. Damn nazi scum." She replied, also in french, as she stood up and went back to her seat.
-
Lee nods, and continues to scan the seats, eventually coming across ray "hey..." Lee says "You look familiar."
-
Magnolia gasped, panicking inside. She walked past Lee and sat calmly in her seat.
-
Lee noticed magnolia gasp, and looked at her. He could tell she was panicking. "What's got you do nervous, eh?" He asks in French
-
Ray sat back in his seat, and looked out the window, trying to be inconspicuous.
-
Magnolia shook her head. "Nothing. I-I'm pregnant and I just hope to get off this train alive." She replied, keeping her eyes glued to Ray.
-
"Then why are you staring at that..."he pauses a moment, a figurative lightbulb lighting up above his head "oh sh*t!" He curses in English, then returns to French "you were at the compound! You killed thirteen of my men! You two, both of you, with me. Now."
-
Magnolia shook her head and withdrew her own weapon from her boot. She grabbed hold of Lee's belt to hold him where he was and pointed her weapon at his groin. "No, see... We won't be going anywhere."
-
(Mind if I join this?)
-
((Go ahead.))
Ray sighed. "We aren't soldiers, you must be mistaken." He spoke in French, hoping the man would believe him.
-
*zaida woke up* "where the h-hell am I?" *she says in a groan and sits up on a bed looking around*
-
The other man sees the commotion, and he aims his STG-44 at magnolia "hey!" He yells in thickly accented French "drop the weapon! Or I will shoot!"
-
Name: Ivan Pavel
Species: Grayfox
Weapons: Tokarev TT-30
Alignment: Soviet Union Intelligence
Musical theme: The Devil and I- Slipknot
Quote: When you are stared down by the wolf, what will you do? Will you be the sheep dog and stand your ground? Or will you be the lamb, running to its slaughter.
It was a simple mission, board a train with a few "supposed" Nazi officals and collect as much data as possible on them. A dead "supposed" Nazi Officer here and there was cause for a reward too. Ivan had been growing bored watching the two Nazis just down the isle from him fret around. He had already labled them as a waste of time, but hey, a mission was a
mission. And just when he was about to get up and head to another car the fun started, a group of frenchmen burst onto the train, shouting things in their pathetic language. Things got even more interesting when the lead frenchman started arguing with one of the Nazis, only getting the barrel of a gun to his groin as a return gesture. "Come on now." He said with a russian accent, a cigarette between his lips. "Shooting a man is one thing, but taking away his ability to fornicate? Thats just cruel." He let out a little laugh and crushed the cigarette on the table. "I would think twice before pulling that trigger."
-
Ray sighed. "Please. Can we act like civilized people, and wait until the train reaches its destination?" He spoke in English.
-
"The godamn train is stopped." Lee grunts "and we're not leaving until we have all nazis on board this train! You two included. Got that?"
-
"It dosent seem you are in any position to be demanding things Frenchy." Ivan says, lighting another cigarette. "She has you by the balls, lliterally!" He let out a deep laugh and sat his handgun on the table "Besides, you cant have them because I need them also."
-
Ray said nothing, but kept staring out the window.
-
"That's it!" Lee says angrily "if you shoot me, I live and you don't. Don't you realize that? I may not have... Reproductive organs, but that is preferable to being dead. Got that? All of you?" Then he sighed and said "I'm an American. OSS."
-
Magnolia sighed and lowered her weapon. "I'm not going anywhere." She scoffed. "How cute of you though."
-
Ray chuckled. "An American? You're quite the ways away from your nest, little bird."
-
"Well, you two had better come over with me or you're dead, got that? I know my men would kill you with glee. I would too, but if Interrogate you two... God the secrets I could learn! So, I'm offering you a way to live. The only way to live, in fact. Got that?" Lee grinned smugly
-
"Again, I cant let you do that." Ivan said, standing up. "These two will be of great use to the Soviet Union, I cant let you take them." He reached into his jacket and pulled out a grenade, his finger on the pin. "Perhaps we could work out some sort of... agreement, American."
-
"You do that and you die, these people die and you fail in your mission." Lee said, still grinning smugly "and you die. So, either way, my group of men wins. Do what you will."
-
Ivan smiled, smoke rolling out of his nostrils. "Or, I can take this grenade and in that group you have there. Im sure your men would make excellent meat sheilds for everyone else." He rolled the pin aroind in his finger, the smirk still on his muzzle. "I dont want to cause the death of anyone here, but I will if it calls for in. So, lets compromise. "
-
Magnolia looked out the window by her seat and sighed. She kicked out the window, grabbed Ray and quickly climbed out, falling to hard ground. "Hmph. I'll be damned if some American swine is gonna order me around." She grumbled, pulling Ray to his feet and slinking away from the train.
-
Lee and Emile start shouting for his other men to fire at them, and they do. They launch a storm of various bullets out the train at at ray and magnolia, aiming at their legs.
-
Ivan frowned as the Nazis escaped, turning back to the Americans. "Pity we are on the same side." He pulled the pin and tossed his grenade in the middle of Lee's squad before turning and leaving the train. Once outside, he pulled another Tokarev from his trench coat, holding one in each paw. "Lets have some fun shall we." He scanned the area for the escaped Nazi's.
-
Magnolia smiled as the Americans opened fire on them. "What fools." She sang to herself.
-
((Actually there was just lee and one guy in the train car. The rest of his squad was in other cars on the train and lee was the only American. Te rest were FFI.))
Lee felt the grenade hit his foot, and he rapidly kicked it away. It was too late, however. The force of the explosion pushed him back, and shattered all of the windows of the train car. Next thing he knew, he was being carried to a jeep.
Emile, however, had been outside the blast radius of the explosive. He ordered a man to take him back to the base while he and the other three men of his squad chased after that damned Russian, and the two nazis. They were all better equipped, three of them had captured nazi STG-44's, and one had a kar-98k with a scope. So, they set off to kill two nazi's and a Russian.
-
Ivan spotted Magnolia and Ray in the distance and started after them, another smile coming to his face as an explosion rocked the train car behind him. "Oh the things I do for my country." He mummbled to himself in Russian. With the Nazis in sight, he lined up one of his Tokarevs and took a shot.
-
Ray flinched, as the round buried into his back. He stumbled, and hit the ground. "Magnolia?!" Ray started to crawl towards Magnolia, as she ran farther.
-
Emile's sniper aimed a shot at the soviet, aiming not to kill, but to wound. An he wasn't very likely to miss, not with him being the best damned shot Emile had seen!
-
Ivan snickered and casual started to walk towards Ray, taking a few pock shots at Magnolia as he did. He was about to reach the crawling german when something moved in the corner of his eye. He turned in enough time to see one of the soldiers from the train car, surprisingly still alive, and aiming a sniper at him. The fox highly doubted his bullet proof vest would stop a rifle round. He tensed his body for the shot.
-
The sniper smiled, and took the shot, hitting him in his upper right thigh. He then kept an eye on him as two men ran up to him, handcuffed him, and moved on the the other nazis
-
Magnolia turned to see Ray fall. "Jesus Marry and Joseph." She muttered as she ran back to Ray, artfully dodging bullets as she did so.
-
The sniper now aims at magnolia, his scope pointed at her legs. And the sniper had to admit, they were pretty legs.
-
Ivan let out a growl and the cigerette fell from his mouth as the bullet tore into his leg, dropping him to the ground. "You idiots! She will kill you before she becomes hostage!" He yelled as the troops handcuffed him. He struggled against them, grunting at the pain in his thigh.
-
Magnolia stooped by Ray's side. "Rayleonarde, please! We need to go!" Mags grabbed his arm and started pulling Ray to his feet.
-
One of the troopers grunts, and forces him to the floor as the sniper fires a shot at magnolia, again aiming for her legs.
-
Magnolia moved just in time, the bullet grazing her thigh with the ripping sound of her skirt.
-
The sniper grumbled, quickly worked the bolt of his rifle, and fired again, again aiming for her legs.
-
"Ahh! You son of bitch!" Ivan barked as the soldier forced him to the ground. He looked up watching the Nazi scum dance around bullets, watching one cut across her leg. Wont be able to dance for long. The other german he shot still wasnt up, so maybe the mission wasnt ccompletely lost.
-
Magnolia growled as her ears swivled to pick up even the slighest sound. When she found where the rounds came from, Magnolia took a pin from her hair and took aim. She caught the sniper's eye with a glare that screamed murder. She threw the pin, aiming for the sniper's forehead.
-
((What the hell type of pin do you have there?))
The sniper quickly works his bolt, as she turned around. He fired at her chest as the pin hit him right in the eye.
-
((Beauty is pain, my darling.))
Magnolia turned her body to take the bullet to her shoulder.
-
Ray stood, and started to walk away, stumbling from the pain. He kept his jaw locked, as he walked. "I...will not...be taken...prisoner...by a Communist...and a Yankee."
-
"You idiots! You have to let me up!" Though Ivan knew it was no use, they wernt going to budge. But he used the distraction of the fight to his advantage. He inched back and moved the cuffs down over his feet, pushing under his chest to get himself to his knees.. His concern was not on the soilders beside him, but on the Nazi girl, drawing his pistol and aiming in. "Stop! Right now!" He barked, not aiming the pistol at her, but at Ray. "Make another move and I pull trigger."
-
The sniper, thankfully not dead, used his still good eye to aim. Thankfully, the pin had taken out his left eye. So he painfully worked the bolt and fired again, aiming for her chest, using his second to last round in his clip as Emile and his other men closed in on her.
-
Magnolia ran up by Ray's side. She held her shoulder as they moved.
-
The men quickly moved in on her their weapons fully loaded, though they were running low on ammo. "Halt!" One of them yelled in heavily accented German
-
"Leave me alone!" Magnolia yelled, taking one of the mens' weapons and beating him mercilessly with it.
-
"Have it your way." Ivan mummbled, firing two shots at Ray.
-
While she is beating the man, one of the men fires a burst of bullets from his assault rifle at magnolia's legs, again trying to wound her.
-
Magnolia fell as her legs were taken out. The wounds imediately began to smike and sizzle as they tried to heal. She but back a cry in pain.
-
Ray yelped, as the two rounds ripped through his paw. He helped Magnolia to her feet, and continued moving. "You bastards! She's pregnant!"
-
One of the men scooped up ray, a pistol pressed to his head.
-
Careful now. Ivan glanced side to side at the soldiers next to him. He quickly struck out and elbowed one of the soldiers in the face then wrapped the chain of the handcuffs around the others throat, using him as a body shield.
-
Ray fought back weakly. "Let me go! I'll...I'll tell you what I know! Just let her be free!"
-
The sniper took a shot at the Russian; his back was towards him. Then he reloaded the gun, just barely doing it.
The man holding a gun jerked him away from magnolia "no! Both of you! Or he gets it!"
-
Magnolia struggled against the man's hold. "NO!" She yelled.
-
((Uh... Ray's the one being held!))
"You don't have a choice!" The man said "you come or he dies!"
-
((She's pulling against the arm around Ray.))
"Magnolia...just...just do it. Please..." Ray looked at Magnolia, a sad look in his face.
-
((Wow look at me all herp derp! XD))
Magnolia shook her head. "Rayleonarde!"
-
"Now!" The man shouted "Both of you! Now!"
-
Ivan felt another bullet go into him, this time in his side. Releasing the soldier, he dropped to his knees again, clutching his side as blood poured through his fingers.
-
The soldier quickly turned around, and delivered a kick to Ivan's groin.
"Now, both of you now!" The soldier holding ray shouted, gradually pulling ray away from magnolia.
-
Ray held Magnolia's paw as long as possible. "I won't leave you! I promise!"
-
Magnolia kept a strong grip on Ray. "Leave him alone!" She kicked the fur that hold of Ray away from him.
-
Ivan let out a small yip and doubled over, resisting the strong urge to pull his hands from his side in favor of putting them between his legs. He began to cuss out the soldier in Russian, still laying on the ground.
-
Ray held Magnolia's paw, as he closed his eyes. He couldn't do anything from his position, as there was a handgun pressed against his temple.
