Which is better buying or building a suite ?
-
I wouldn't say one is better than the other.
Buying a suit (from an experienced builder) has the advantage that you can be almost 100% sure that the result is going to be good tho if you haven't got the skills to or otherwise can't build one yourself.

I would have to agree with cheeza (also a experienced builder) building your own mean you know everything will fit great, though I sugest lots and lots of researching. If you don't research you'll end up missing some important step. But if your looking for high quality and craftmenships, then buying might be your route.

i am gonna buy most of the builders i have looked at ask for a dtd (duck tape dummy) so that ur getting a good fit and i am gonna be wearing something called a cold vest to help keep me cool when i am suiting

Well I mean it really depends because buying can cost lots however building can cost a little less but if you have no experience you could mess up... But I think building if you can sew. But if you have lots of money

I think it will be a great and fun experience to build one yourself! I've made hand paws and tails before and it's really satisfying looking at them and thinking "Wow, I built that myself, it all came from me". It's a great experience, and yeah if you muck it up it can end up costing as much as a professional one, but where's the fun in buying your way to your end goal? Gonna get all cheesy, but it's all about the journey too :P

I thin building it yourself is way cooler, cuz you get to enjoy build your fursuit and customize how you want! You could get help from friends. Buying a fursuit wouldn't let you make it "you!" if you get what I'm saying? ^_^

I would prefer making it, to be honest.
