Hey everyfur!  :D

So awhile back I was starting to try out Lucid dreaming and OBE (out of body experiences). While I've had a couple lucid Dreams in my past, I got too busy to do it consistently. But today I heard about this new sleep mask which attempts to give you signals in your sleep so that you realize you are dreaming.

Remee Lucid Dreaming Mask

Just wondering if anyone here is a lucid dreamer, and if you are, if you have any tips and have you heard of/tried this mask?

It's a sleep mask with LED's that are supposed to bleed through into your dream and make you aware that you're dreaming, quite good if you want to try out your fursona or something :P thrust me lucid dreaming can be an enlightement even tho im just 16 ive already had 3 lucid Dreams and they were undescribable.

One of my friends who know I'm into astral projection sent me this link. I've told him about some of my lucid dreams so that's probably why he sent it to me. Anyways, just thought I should share lol ^^. Maybe you'll be interested, maybe you've already heard of it, or maybe you already have some kind of experience with them and can enlighten us to how effective they are? heres a vid explaining lucid Dreams and how to get one yourself The Science of Lucid Dreaming (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYSX51xBkos#ws)

Thanks, Crystali♥

So true! it's like getting a key to your subconscious and we all know our subconscious is pretty cool since it got stored evrything we have seen, heard, felt, or done.

I've had a couple of lucid dreams, or at least, I knew that I was dreaming, but I never had full controll... And Its kinda hard to get into a lucid dream XD I once heared that you could enter such a dream by closing your eyes, and laying down, no turning or such for more than 30 minutes

It's not really tht hard if you know how to do it or which technique  to use. Most effective way tbh is WBTB (Wake back to bed) you set your alarm Clock to Wake you up sometime in the morning and then you dont really Wake up you more off hear it shut it off and go back down down down untill you feel your inside a Dream and then! rub your hands together this will make the Dream more clear and vivid and in HD and also make yourself aware that your dreaming.

Yeah the no turning for 30 minutes might work but you might fail and end up in an Sleep paralysis ''let's not talk about sleep paralysis''  @.@

Best way to get them lucids is 1.Write down ur Dreams in something even if their just small things just write them down
2.do reality checks during the day like Count ur fingers and look in the mirror and say am i dreaming.

And if ur lucky youl see a hand counting fingers in ur Dream going am i dreaming and youl know ur dreaming cause ur hand might look like this

Tried to get into a lucid dream last night.... I FAILED :o

not so uncommon it has hapenned to me too .__.'' , some people are natural ldr's but for some people it takes almost weeks and months for me to get one it took about 5 to 4 months i Think lmao. Thats why reeme is so good it tells you in the Dream ''hey ur dreaming'' but don't feel it as a let down it usually all goes down to commitment, it takes alot of practice a good amount of written in ur journal and alot of reality checks. If you do hovever get lucid you can test your lucidity, try stabilizing the dream by running your hands together or touch random objects in the dream to increase your bond to the dream state. This is what my friend told me when i told her i didn't get the hang of it

A whole two weeks and you're ready to quit? Oh dear.!

And i was like well i should be able to get one right now right?!

She told me that when ur a beginner and stuff you have to understand that the first few lucid dreams are the hardest - you're mastering a brand new skill here. And those early weeks (maybe months) of effort can be the least rewarding. But you're building up to a lifelong, life-changing ability...
The problem is that we are used to having things NOW. And so we expect magic wand solutions.

And i was like ooh ok so i tried a whole lot and then bam i got it, but yeah it just comes down to practice i guess that's like with evrything in Life lol :P good luck btw in ur journey.

I am a Semi-Lucid Dreamer. Like, I know i'm dreaming but I only do small things like walk somewhere else or run in slowmo, stuff like that.. sometimes i'll even talk in the dream. It's pretty wierd sometimes though.. you will find some wierd things when you control your dreams. Also to help understand LD.. uh well you cant actually tell or say you're dreaming.. till a certain point, and for me, that point comes halfway into the near end of the dream. I usually control the second half of my dreams Lol. If you try hard enough sometimes, you can change an object or action in your dream. LD has helped me with certain situations while sleeping which is a "miracle in your pocket" Lol

I just want to note that nothing is worse than.... paralysis

Mhm i Always feel it's with Dreams that their so captivating that you just want to continue and then you see yourself Wake up and your like damn it why did i not know i was dreaming and it's usually this that people need to train on. :P

and yeah paralysis...i feel that sleep paralysis is not something that science can explain i feel it's that your actually being met by astral entities far from other Galaxies atleast what i've seen arent human.

Yeah, nothing i've seen in SP is human... it feels scary and demon-like or very powerful spirits.
I always force myself to wake up though. One time I kept dreaming of waking up and it eventually went away and I slept fine after that.

The Still Point: The still point feels extremely misty and somewhat dreamlike for lack of better words to describe it. You are not usually dreaming during it because you are not fully asleep, but rather you are losing yourself in it, similar to what happens during non-lucid dreams, yet there is no dream sequence unfolding. You also are aware, but at the same time you aren’t all that aware either. You’re pretty much straddling the fence between waking consciousness and the dream world. I know it sounds very cryptic but its one of those things that doesn’t translate well into words. The best advice I can give is- try it. Once you have entered that state and retained consciousness, there’s no mistaking it for anything else, once ur in an Dream there is plenty of opertunity just give it a try :P
