So I had a crush on this girl, and after a while, I told her how I felt. She didn't reject me (or at least I don't think she did), but she said that she has too much schoolwork to have a serious relationship.
Am I being rejected?
Sorry for the mushy-mushy, but I have no clue.

Yes. You are being rejected.
Of course I could be wrong, others may disagree with my analysis, but I strongly believe that if she had mutual feelings for you, there would still be time for a relationship with you in her life.

Christ... Was really hoping for something.
Bleh... this mushy-feely stuff sucks sometimes.
Thanks, I guess.

Now, it's not certain whether or not you've been rejected, but it seems probable that way. Regardless, you never should see a rejection as a failure, or as something to be sad over, you'll be sad over it of course as it's natural too, but try to see it as a learning experience. The greatest successes comes from a string of great failures, try to see what you did and try to learn from that, don't be discouraged from asking people out because you got rejected, keep pushing on and through each time you fail you'll learn a little something and will have a smaller chance of failing the next time.
keep soldering on.

Short and sweet, you were rejected FOR NOW. She may have an interest in you, but have too much going on, but may in fact like you. My advice is to be patient. ^_^
