Title: Fur suits
Post by: Bronies are cool on August 26, 2014, 04:58:53 AM
Ok so I'm pretty sure a number of you have gotten fur suits.
I'm curious. How comfortable are they? And how easy is it to get into and out of it?

Normally, I hear others say its hot ._. but they look comfortable.
You can get them made differently but I know theres the Box Type fursuit, like you get in the suit first then pull it up and theres the head.
There are zipper fursuits, and I think there might be a one where you have to put each part on one by one.. IDK but this is my limited knowledge.
You'll get better information from someone who actually wears fursuits.

Hello :)

I myself own a fursuit (of my character Ito, here's a picture: http://fav.me/d6t4iny (http://fav.me/d6t4iny) )
It is pretty comfortable to wear once I have made sure everything is fitted well (I need to make some more adjustments so it will go easier and faster).
It does get warm inside, but once I have reached a certain temperature it stays at that temperature and does not get any hotter. I get used to it, but I do keep check on myself: Am I drinking enough? Do I take enough brakes? Do I feel nauseous?

It's pretty easy to take on/off, but I do need some help, especially because it's a full-body fursuit, not a partial. And it can take some time too in my case.

But yeah, you can have a very comfortable suit, and it can be very easy to take on/off. So I hope this answered your question :)

I'd have to agree with Ventus. They are quiet comfortable, considering most of it consists of foam and fake fur. Though mine gets quiet hot sometimes, we'll considering it's 90 + degrees out. Lol. But as long as you keep hydrated and keep yourself in check, then you should be alright.
