I frigging love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, so I figured that It would be a good start to serious RP. so, here ya go!
here's the rules.
All the standard stuff applies; no godmodding, keep IC, Use proper grammar (but adding in little russian tidbits is encouraged), Etc.
Now, the extra little tidbits.
Keep the names russian, please. at least the last names.
Ammo is one of the hardest things for a zoner to get. almost every single zoner counts his shots, and you should too!
(I.E., instead of "he fired a burst from his rifle" "he fired a three round burst from his rifle.") and if , god forbid, you run out, you run! (Please establish the ammount of ammo you have. don't , as they called it on my old GMOD RP server, "A*spull" things Establish what you've got, and if you don't have the right gear for the occasion, You're screwed; if you don't say you have something on your sheet, you don't have it!)
Name: Foma Nevzorov
Species: Silver fox
Height: 5'11"
Faction: Loners
Description: Foma has a friendly look about him; a rare thing in the zone. But don't let that fool you, he wont hesitate to put a bullet in your skull. He's the type of person that will try to help you, but cares more about saving his own skin than yours.
Armor:His armor is a standard sunrise suit, but heavily upgraded; it has a breathing tank, polycarbonate plates, interwoven Kevlar fibers, and it's impregnated with god knows what (nitro said it would help with protection from chemical anomalies) His mask is a russian PMK gas-mask and his helmet is a MICH 2002 (with some steel bands that he added in himself)
Weapons: KABAR utility knife, FN FAL para and a detahable SUSAT 4x scope SIG P220, and generally, he tries to keep at least one grenade on him.
Other gear: He has a large ALICE pack, that he keeps an extra pair of boots, a cleaning kit for his rifle and pistol, some gun oil, some american "lucky strike" cigarettes,a medkit, a stimpack (military grade) and some food. on the pockets of his vest, he regularly keeps about 150 rounds of ammo for his FAL and about 100 for his p220. He also keeps his detector ( a velez detector) and a bag filled with metal bolts on his belt.
History: Foma was born in kiev to a relatively stable family; his mother was a doctor, his dad was a gunsmith. He grew old, and his family grew poor; his mother was fired from the hospital she worked at due to a disagreement with her boss. His dad managed to hold onto his job with a severely reduced salary. after the zone of alienation was created, in 2006, they seriously considered becoming stalkers; one big stalker family. they saved up enough money to go into the zone, and they did (but Foma's dad made sure they were decked out first). They stayed there, stalking as a group, until his father and mother died. His mother was done in by a stray shot from a loner hunting mutants. His dad was done in a few days later by a whirligig anomaly. Foma still isn't sure if he did this on purpose or not. Currently, He resides in jupiter, and is good friends with the local tech, Nitro.
