This is a game I play on another forum site and it's always really fun. I was surprised to find there wasn't already a thread like it.
Here are the rules:
1. You must post a song in your reply. It can be any genre but please put a warning if there is swearing or sexual/suggestive content (we don't want to force people to listen to that kind of stuff if they don't want to).
2. The next person that comes has to do the Honor Rule and listen to the entirety of the song, no matter what.
3. Once you have listened to the song, tell the person what you thought of it in your reply, then post YOUR song for the next person.
4. Repeat.

Well I had not heard this song before but as a fan of 50's rock it was very much to my taste. Stevie can't play a bad note so no surprise he sounded sweet. The piano (which is my instrument) was sounding hot and no mean feat in the solo playing the classic boogie riff in B major.
OK here's my link!

This is a classic! I love it. It's a very fun, lively piece. =]
If you're into piano you probably know this guy's stuff:
Billy Joel - Scenes From An Italian Restaurant Lyrics [on screen] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od4yFljMRIg#ws)

Ahhh yes, it is well known to me, though I reckon I could only play about a 3rd from memory. Great song, I like that there are such interesting changes for a "pop song" and descending bass octaves in the piano solo always hook me.
Dead Kennedys - Chemical Warfare (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahBvI4pdh9U#)

That's a good one, but I think I prefer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN-_UOvwNA8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN-_UOvwNA8)

It's full of lol. I really have no idea what it's about or what political practical joke it's trying to play, but it's still lol.
I believe I can fly- Bushes and Marshmallows- C418 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0-3qs-3dxM)

very electronic sounding, almost like the soundtrack to a video game. Which I get the impression is what it wanted now
looking at the name of the song. Either way, it's pretty fun to listen to.
gamebro original 1990 mix- homestuck volume 6- Erik Scheele (http://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/gamebro-original-1990-mix)
note: I recommend you listen to this on headphones; it sounds a lot better.
-
It reminded me of Sonic the Hedgehog and I guess that was somewhat the idea to sound like a classic video game.
Not bad, but I don't think I'll listen to it again unless it comes on entirely by random.
Atpunk - Super Star (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Xwjdc1MPe8#ws)

That was very light and happy. It reminds me of video games and techno. XD

Very interesting. I love that gravelly tone his voice gets sometimes. It's not bad but I wouldn't say it's a favorite.

It's very interesting. I t reminds me a bit of some of the video game music I've heard, like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIwkc1l_ygk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIwkc1l_ygk)

A fun video game theme, both fun and imposing at the same time. Plus the muted xylophone sounds are also kinda fun in the background.
Timelapse Kingdom- C418 (http://c418.bandcamp.com/track/timelapse-kingdom)
-
Very interesting. It reminds me of the jungle and a rave, all at the same time. XD
This is possibly my favorite video game theme:

Not bad. Kind of sleepy though. The cover art reminded me of Westerns, which reminded me of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiTKIbR69ss (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiTKIbR69ss)

Haha! Classic song "have you ever seen such brutality?" But the railroad work song version of "I Get No Kick from Champagne" even though it's only 30 seconds is just pure perfection. That whole film is just the best XD

I liked this. I can't say I even registered the soundtrack when I saw the film so I might have to listen to some more. Reminded me of Alice Cooper.

I like the combination of orchestral and dubstep music. That kind of genre is actually pretty fun and creative and deserves more attention that the amount that it's getting.
From the Window - C418 (http://c418.bandcamp.com/track/from-the-window)
Yes, I have the musical variety of a chair.

Not bad, but it could do with being a bit shorter.

Hmmm, well this is an accomplished cover of an OK song. It's not to my taste and I probably prefer the original (her voice is so warm). Having said that the chord sequence of iv-V-vii is simple but effective and not too over-used (although it may be in the genre for all I know). The dude singing has a lovely voice too, but it's just not my cup of tea.

I love a good march and this sure is one! Not one of my personal faves as such but since I first heard it in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade it has a soft spot for me. Some weird use of triplets with the 1st and 2nd beats tied which creates a little swing feel on a few occasions :S Would lend itself to some awesome honky tonk.
Queen - Ogre Battle - Queen II - Lyrics (1974) HQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GriPVfPDO7M#ws)

Meh...not really that great in my eyes but it is still is good track.....Now this is my second theme

-
Well, that caught me off guard XD Thought it might be another march... anyway, this didn't really do it for me. I guess it serves it's purpose OK and as a game OST piece shouldn't overshadow game play, but it was pretty repetitive and seemed half-hearted about being industrial or not. I have seen a few of the movies which the composer Brian Tyler has scored but can't say I noticed any of the soundtracks so maybe he's just not my thing. I do rather like the Transformers Prime soundtrack though which is where I know him from.

Wow... these guys XD I think I only know Yakety Yak by these guys but a very distinctive sound drawing on black crooners and white country. Good novelty song.
Since I accidentally found this, why not...
COUNTRY SISTERS - Cotton Eyed Joe (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZvpHwoQfqk#ws)

Yo, it's been a while since I heard that song XD http://youtu.be/eU4ZvfkmOck warning: there's language
-
Well, it's not really my thing. But I found it a bit samey, need to mix up their rhythms a bit. The theme seemed to be just the standby topic of wouldn't it be great to have mots of money because then you can have lots of fancy things and get lots of shallow women. Maybe I missed a layer of irony >.>
