Title: Elder Scrolls Online
Post by: MrRazot on April 25, 2014, 10:43:52 AM
Hey is anyone else playing this?
If you are - Awesome
If you're playing on the European Megaserver - MOAR AWESOME (that's where I am)
Even if you're not though, how about we chill and talk about ESO stuff. Or if you don't play, have an ask.

I played the Beta. And honestly, I wasn't that interested in it. It was an ok idea, but in my opinion fell flat, even for beta mmo standards.

No real doubt there.
The feel of the game so far has been that of a Single Player game
it plays a lot in my opinion like Morrowind and it really is an Elder Scrolls game.

I've been looking for a good MMO RPG and this fits the bill.

I'm playing on the EU server too.
I think ESO is still in early beta stage, becouse it's literally flooded with serious bugs :/ Over 50% of quests are bugged and nothing was done about it. To finish most of the quests you have to constantly relog / hard reset the game. AvA is also extremely annoying - constant group crashes or infinite loading screens. There are a lot of skills that doesn't work or are horribly bugged (especially werewolf/vampire skill trees) Seriously I love the game becouse the lore in it is very rich and there are tons of books to read. Fully voice acted NPCs are also very nice. I really love the TES series, but Zenimax don't care about technical problems - all they want is our money (charging 15$ for half finished product is not fair) I really hope Zenimax will wake up and do something.

It's very unlikely that they ever will, this is probably one of the reasons you don't really hear too much about ESO.

It's really sad, becouse this game has huge potential, but so far lack in execution. I understand that many games are bugged after release, but this one is a fine example of a rushed game. Shame on you Zenimax/Bethesda !
