In such a computerized age, it seems that a lot of tabletop games have fallen by the wayside in favor of video games and the internet. Don't get me wrong; I love both of those very much. XD But I still think it's fun to play tabletop games with friends.
Do you play them as well? Which ones?
I'm a big fan of D&D, and I've played various forms of poker pretty much since I could walkâFive-card draw, Texas Hold 'em, etc. More recently, I've gotten into Mahjong thanks to my big sis.

I play Mahjong. I was lucky enough to pick up an old set in singapore, and its one of my most treasured possesions. Plus I like to play chess as well
(I know, boring old people games XP )

Nice! I forgot to mention that I grew up playing a lot of chess and checkers. I've fallen quite out of practice in both, though. >w>

Hmm I used to play a ton of roleplaying games such as AD&D, Gurps, World of Darkness, and Shadowrun though I haven't gotten the opportunity to for quite awhile sadly. I also used to play various bored games such as Mansions of Madness, Go, and Risk to name a few though again haven't done so in awhile. @.@

I play monopoly a lot usually with my family on weekends :P. I don't know if that counts though x3.

(I didn't know where to put this)
Are there any other fans of HeroClix?
It is a fun collectible miniature game, featuring; Marvel, DC, Lord of the rings, Dark Horse, Gears of war, and a handful of other things.
(Rocket Raccoon, and Howard the Duck are furry so this topic kind of applies)

A lot of my friends host board game evenings, where we play some of the more modern board games, such as The Resistance, Elder Sign, Pandemic, etc.
I think there's a lot more attention and focus on these kind of games thanks to things such as pod casts and web-shows doing play throughs and reviews of them - Table Top with Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day (Mmmm, Felicia Day...) is an especially well-known and popular one. So many people follow it that a lot of the games they review/play sell out almost as soon as they're shown.
I also play a lot of card games that are similar - Munchkin, Fluxx, Gloom, Chrononauts etc.
As well as those, I regularly meet up with friends for tabletop RP sessions - our group clocks in at around 8 regular players.
