The Realm of Wonderland has been conquered by the Mad King. He now sits on his throne in the Night Scape, a warped and twisted version of Wonderland. The Champion of Wonderland has sent five shards across the universes to find the next generation of heroes.
Five shards:- The Dawn Queen
- The Dusk King
- The Sunrise Princess
- The Sunset Prince
- The Twilight Knight
Each shard bestows an elemental affinity.
- Dawn = Ice
- Dusk = Earth
- Sunrise = Fire
- Sunset = Wind
- Twilight = Lightning
Each hero will develop odd habits:
- Dawn will slowly begin to act as if everyone is beneath her.
- Dusk will start to not care one way or another.
- Sunrise will begin to doubt herself.
- Sunset will panic and will also be the only one to believe Dawn is really in charge.
- Twilight will slowly go mad and lose his sense of what is real.
We are humans who are pulled into Wonderland/Night Scape. When we arrive there we will receive our fur forms. As well you are all from different universes, so spice up your character some and give them abilities that may be unique to your universe. This means that for a few rounds you will be fumbling to control your body and your powers. Magic works a bit differently in both Wonderland and The Night Scape. The Mad King is unstable. He will flip the world on a whim. What this means is that some rounds we will be in Wonderland and in others we will be in the Night Scape.

Bloop bloop, here's mine!
Name: Angharad
Gender: Female
Species: Housecat-- Manx
Title: Sunrise Princess
Abilities: specialises in combat-oriented magic that focusses on herself, ie. increasing her own strength, speed, or magically armouring herself somewhat. She can only do one of these at a time, however, and overuse of this magic can leave her drained.
Personality: Angharad can seem forbidding and unfriendly towards strangers, but she warms up well enough once she's familiar with her company. In serious situations, however, she's all business. A military police commander in her own universe, her primary directive is to keep those under her care safe, and as far as she's concerned nearly everyone is under her care. She considers herself a shield between danger and innocent people. She's a bit of a mother hen, but this trait isn't often recognised by others thanks to all of her hard edges making her appear more cold and calculating than gentle and caring.
She doesn't take well to being pushed around. She is very firm and used to commanding, and expects respect; if she doesn't immediately get it then it throws her off balance. When unsure or uncomfortable, she can become irritable and snappish, or stoic and silent depending on who she's dealing with.
Appearance: 5'2", lean and muscular. She's quite petite, but her frame belies the musculature built by years of combat training. She has fluffy grey fur with a white throat patch and white paws. She has small round brown eyebrows and spiked up-and-forward short brown hair in a Mohawk-esque style. Her eyes are very dark brown, and have sharp edges. The flesh of her nose is black.
She wears red ribbons wrapped around her feet, leaving her paws exposed. Her trousers are loose fitting, tied in by the ribbons at the hems, and faded black. She wears a fitted red tank top.
Her expression is, more often than not, stern or disapproving.

Name: Tricia Victoria
Gender: Female
Species: Fox
Title: Dawn Queen
Abilities: Skilled with repairing whitegoods, air-conditioners and various electrical equipment. Photographic memory
Personality: Tricia is outgoing and friendly but unaware of social cues. This tends to rub people the wrong way and makes it hard for her to make friends. She is inclusive and forgiving, being used to being an outsider herself. She dislikes meanness and rudeness.
Appearance: Tricia is tall 5’11” and thin but muscular from labouring. She has wiry ginger fur with black tips on her ears and tail and black hindpaws. The lower half of her face, undercarriage and forepaws are grey. Her hair is short, unkempt and ginger with streaks of grey giving her the appearance of being older than her actual age of 21. She has ice-blue eyes. She tends to wear denim overalls over a range of faded cheap flannelette shirts and steel-cap boots. Normally seen sporting a denim cap or, in cold weather, black beanie.

I really hate to do this guys, but I'm going to need a complete re-haul of this thread. That means I'm going to need new applications. This is due to my absence. I appreciate anyone who returns as well as new applicants. Thanks for your time! An opening scene will be posted soon!
“Alice won't be late.” The white rabbit told himself. “She'd never miss such an important date.” He continued to mutter, trying to convince someone, though whether it was himself or his captors he wasn't really sure. “Why yes sweet, sweet Alice will come, and punish this dastardly cat ho hum.” The White Rabbit sat in the corner of his cell ignoring the rest of the world.
“Oh shut up you idiot. Alice ain't coming, not for some silly toy.” The giant playing card laughed like a boorish drunk. He held a long slender solid red spear with diamond shaped head on the end. The Rabbit had only been here one week, he thought and already he was doubting himself. The cell was all black, made of rough brick and stone. There were no windows, no door as far he could tell. He rarely heard more than his own voice during the day. At night he heard the the voices again. 'Off with her head!' one would cry over and over. 'I know who I WAS.' another would say. 'I'm not myself you see.' 'My reality is just different from yours.' Over and over the voices would mutter lines all night, or at least he thought it was night, without any windows or light source at all he was unsure when it was exactly. He continued speaking to himself each passing sentence becoming less coherent than the last until he heard a new voice and quit speaking all together.
“You're absolutely certain she'll come my king?” A high pitched voice asked with a laugh and a chuckle.
“My dear Hatter of course she will come. She loves that rabbit, he was after all her favorite.” A smooth, silk touched voice spoke. The rabbit knew that this wasn't true. Alice never played favorites, but the silk touched voice seemed to charm the rabbit into belief with every word. “Soon Alice will come and when she does we will capture her and then the Nightscape will be mine.” The rabbit was quiet perplexed by the voice he heard. It was one he knew. One the every residence of Wonderland, if it even was Wonderland anymore, knew all too well. He'd never shown an interest in much of what happened here, yet now he was hell bent on ruling this Nightscape. “Our victory, my dear Hatter, is guaranteed. As long as we have The Looking Glass, Alice can't return to get help.”
“Do you now Ches? You know I don't know what happened to you, but you must be stopped, none the less.” This voice, a girls, brought great relief to the rabbit.
“Ah Alice,” Ches said, smiling his wicked grin that always accompanied him. “I'm afraid you have made a mistake once more. You lost the last time we fought, and I let you live on a whim. I'm starting to regret it. I suppose I'll just have to kill you now.”
Alice let out a soft laugh. “Oh poor, naïve, Cheshire Cat, or do you prefer Mad King now?” The cat tried to answer, but Alice simply cut him off. “ It won't matter really I suppose. I just wanted to show you the spoils of my visit.” The cat let out a gasp, then a large shattering noise reverberated through the rooms. For a moment the rabbit was still in the cell. The next he was in a burned down house. Alice in front of him, muttering over and over. “Find the shards of the Looking Glass, Rabbit, please.”
