Title: How do I tell my GF that I´m going to go to the local Furmeet on the 14. Feb?

I´m with her for about 8months now and I don´t have any idea how to tell her that i´m a furry.
I´d love to draw, too.
But I´m a little scared about how to tell her.

(sry for my english, didn´t used it a long time^^)

I'd say just come out with it and tell her it's a hobby about anthros and fantasy. There are much bigger problems in a long-term relationship than an unusual pastime.

Ask her to go with you. I think she'll be curious and happy that you want to include her in something you'd like to share with her. You can say that you've wanted to go for a long time because it's part of your favorite hobby. If she really likes you, she'll be more than happy to come, have fun, and support you :)

She'll most likely find it cute that you're nervous about asking her xD Use it to your advantage.

Even if she say's no, she won't get mad that you wanted to include her. You tried and you still can go have fun on your own :P

Just tell her your going to play some sports or games with some of your friends and you'll be back. Tell her when you get back after the meet. Tell her and when you tell her just think about her leaving you and get real sad maybe cry a little. Hopefully she will become sentimental and love on you and say she will love no matter what. That's all I can think of. Good luck.

Ok thx a lot,
I´ll think over the idea to invite her...
but that could maybe be to much for her, and then I ruined Fa-day xD


She´s ill at the moment, maybe she´ll let me go alone,
but that wouldn´t change anything really...

the idea of tellin her after the meet sounds good too
But I´ve told her about an evening with a fried wich lost his GF and he don´t wants to spend time with girls yet

She gave me a collar a few months ago, but i know, she doesn´t knows anything ´bout furries
she scratches, she bites, she´s even makin jokes about a leash (google gave me this word ;)  )

I have found that Uncle Kage has very good tips on how to talk to people about the furry fandom, He talks mainly about the media but the tips he has to offer work for family and gf's as well. Has allot of great material. Good luck with the furry talk though.

Yesterday She asked me what we could do tomorrow.
She she asked me about the chines restaurate i was talking a few weeks ago...
this is were the meet is.
I don´t know is this funny or is the fortune bullying me?

It´s hard tho miss the first meet since about 8 or 9 months, sitting at the other side of the restaurante xD
For today everything´s allright
maybe I´m able to tell her after that all...
