In a training camp a dragon with his scythe stands at attention. He applied for the army about two months ago he is almost done with his training. After his hard work sparring and training on the fields, he returns to his bunk bed where he lays down and rests. He says outloud "one more week." The area around him has the other trainees getting ready for bed. He repeats himself but with a longer pause.
-
(Welcome to the forums!)
A feline was already lying in one of the beds at the bunk house for the trainees, doing some maintenance work over his daggers. He had one in his hand, with the blades pointed away from his body. It had been recently sharpened, the blade restored from all the nicks and such that had came from the day, and a fresh coat of oil was applied. He wasn't as built as the others, and certainly wasn't as skilled in combat. But his talents did lie elsewhere. He was more lithe, and light on his toes compared to the rest. Easily able to dance away from the strike of a blade and come in close for a crippling blow. Or simply sneaking around to scout out the area. He definitely was not made to be a soldier, but a scout or runner instead. But like all military regiments, they tend to mix the trainees together before sending them out.
He would look up occasionally, his attention directing it's self outside towards the sky and to other soldier's who were lingering around the camp. Even the dragon with the Scythe.
-
He sat up and looked around. Paying attention to the people around him. His eyes fixed on the feline. Looking at the daggers and then finally getting up. He grabs his scythe and continues out of the building. He goes to the open field near the structure where the feline was. He continued to practice swinging his scythe around. He spun the scythe around. He finished and had the scythe in his hands horizontally. He broke them apart and had a sickle and chain. The casing of the chain dropped to the floor and he started to practice with that.
-
Leo's eyes caught the dragon's gaze on him, and gave him a curious glance. His head tilting some as he just watched him leave view. Without much to do, and some boredness to sate, the feline rose back to his feet and moved to the doorway. It wasn't long before he found him again, practicing out in the field with an odd version of a farming tool.
-
He finished with his training and puts back his scythe back to its original state. He straps it on his back and looks around. He looks at the feline again before he stood at attention at the trainer coming up to him. From far away he had a surprised look at him as he was handed a roll of paper. He opened it and smiled. He. Looked at the feline and walked torwards him. "Hey!" He took his hand out for a shake. "I'm Aros and you are?"
-
Leo's head tilted as he watched the weapon be reconstructed, and put away. He seemed to be taking a mental note of it's weapon design before finally looking up to the dragon with a smile. "Ah, Leo. Just a friendly scout in training," he chimed, gesturing to the two weapons on his hip. A common weapon of choice for people like him. "That's... an odd weapon you have there. I thought they are supposed to remain in one piece for stability reasons..."
-
He takes out his scythe. "It's locked in so it won't shake around" he demonstrates the lock switch on how it's on or off. He turns it off and removes the casing to show the chain then puts it back and locks it. "It's a unique weapon." He seems joyful. "So when do you get out?" He looks around I case anyone else was watching. "I'm getting out tomorrow, early release!"
-
Leo's eyes shifted to the weapon with a gleam of curiosity. He watched the lock's mechanism switch between on and off before finally looking back to the dragon once he was done with his display. "Ah. I don't care anything that unique. Just a handful of smoke bombs and caltrops." He then gave a light shrug after the question, "Probably the same as per normal. I hadn't gotten an update or anything yet. So I still leave in about a week or two. I kinda lost track of time."
-
"Oh well I hope it goes well" he said nervously he looked away from the feline. "I guess I should go pack my stuff I'll see you later?" He leaves and goes to pack up.
-
Leo seemed a bit confused after picking up the other's nervous tone. He watched him for a moment longer, adding in, "Yeah... probably." Once he began to leave, the feline gave a wave, "Hey. Are... you alright?"
-
"Yeah it's just nothing" he looked at the paper. "No wonder..." He looked saddened. His sadness tuned into a rage. He punched the wall leaving a dent. He sits down with the scythe.
-
Kai watched Leo and Aros with interest from afar. Kai was rather antisocial, though he liked knowing and knew the names of of every recruit in the camp. He watched from a window in the top floor of the training room where an open sparring room was. No one ever went up there anymore so it was a perfect place for Kai to practice his real talent. Magical mastery of the the four elements. Kai choose to leave his room and attempt to approach the two furs. He crossed the yard easily enough stopping before the two about to speak before Aros punched the wall causing him freeze up unsure what to say.
-
The feline gave his ear a flick after watching him punching a wall and leaving a decent sized dent. He pursed his lips for a moment and looked about the area, curious to see if anyone was nearby or even awake. He saw no one else. Now with not much left to do, but to try and consolidate the dragon, Leo stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, isn't this a good thing for you? You will be out of here soon, won't ya?"
-
"It's not a good thing if your whole family was murdered" he got up and walked torwards the field again. He didn't didn't care for anyone in the way he took his scythe and practiced on a tree. After a while the tree fell with many cuts in it. Before it fell you could see deep slashes in the tree.
-
Kai stared in awe at Aros. He was unsure what to do or say at this point, but finally something came out. "I'm sorry for your loss." Kai froze when both the other furs turned to face him.
-
A black wolf falls back with the tree flailing his arms slightly as he falls back "holy dog sh** who did that stands up with a short sword pointing it at the one closest to the tree anger and surprise in his eyes. "who just signed their own god damn death warrant" looks around seeing the superior standing at the other side of the tree "sir sorry sir" stands at attention
-
He stands at attention the trainer yelling at him for the mess. He just stood in rage. After he finished Aros walkes to his bed laying down. His shoulder bleeding when he accidentally cut himself during the rage. He layed down and didn't mind the pain.
-
Leo approached as well, scratching his head, following the other trainee to the bunks "I am sorry for your loss man, but I don't think it's going to help if you take it out on the tree." His gaze then turned to look to Kai and the black wolf. His gaze then shifted back to the dragon. "I also don't recommend drinking. You going to be ok?"
-
"what in the name of baby jesus do you think you were doing who ever chopped down that tree drop and give me f***ing 50 and tomorrow instead of eating your running 5 miles " i say shouting as loud as possible
-
He ignored the superior as the general/principal told him to leave that night. He got the cut treated. He went back to the bunk. "Hey" he looked at the scout like feline. "The master says you could leave with me so I have some company." He packed his stuff looking at the feline.
-
Leo blinked for a moment once more, finding this day now growing to be incredibly odd by the minute. "Uhhhhh...." he began in a long confused country like draw, "Ok..." he finally finished. Still he was not quite sure how to answer this. He couldn't exactly claim to be the dragons best friend, or even just a friend for the matter of only having a chance to meet him for approximately five minutes.
"Right, I'll go with ya." He said, now turning to leave, "Try... to get some rest." He then walked outside of the bunk house with a terribly confused expression, "What... the **censor** is going on today."
-
(haha i wasn't the superior but um i was just yelling at you because my character was surprised)
-
(This... is really starting to feel like an anime o.o; Now... for someone to shoot a laser from their mouth)
-
( haha i agree)
walks into leo shoving him a bit
"stay out of my way maggot"
turning to show off my sword i then walk into the bunk house slamming the door behind me
-
Leo stumbles a bit after being shoved. He did have half a mind to stab the man's tail as he moved by, but he thought against it. "Uh... sir? If this is about the recruit, I doubt you will be able to satisfy you ego boost tonight or tomorrow... he shoves out... literally tomorrow morn."
-
what did you say you piece of s***, what do you mean i don't think he is ready for any fighting so im keeping him here, so go tell your boyfriend he is not going any where" i smirk satisfied
-
Kai couldn't stand there and watch anymore something in him snapped. He walked up to the yelling black wolf and laid a hand on him. Using all his effort he froze the wolf. Panting he looked at Leo and Aros. "T-take, take me with you. I want out of this hell"
-
(can i come back later as somebody else :/ )
-
((I wouldn't care, You could just thaw out and hunt us down XD We really need an OOC board though XD))
-
He lies there with a picture of him and his family. He looked at the commotion. "I'm leaving now." He gets up and walk torwards the field. "Coming guys?" He stopped in the direction of the entrance with the scythe on his back. ((I'll make the thread in a bit.))
-
Kai smiled at the dragon. The weasel was glad to get out of here once and for all. "As long you don't mind a little magic." He said as he grabbed his orange hoodie and followed his new dragon friend.
-
He smiled and chuckled. "Once I find the bastard who killed my family I'm going to make him suffer." He walks near the entrance talking to the guards on how many is leaving and why. He gets the clear signal and he waits for the scout to finish and come.
-
Leo gave the drill sergent an odd look and the turned to leave, "Yeeaaaah.... no. Direct orders and all. I believe you have been outranked, sir!" He gave him a wave and made way to the gate to join the others.
-
(( sounds good to me )) i look at leo angrily still frozen but im starting to thaw my arms first i reach out and grab leo by the neck
"mhmmfmgmhmfmg mfmgf mgmfmg!!!!"
-
Aros waits patiently for the scout as he mumbles his motto. "No one left behind"
-
Turning to look at the event Kai frowned. He gingerly walked back to Leo and helped him get his arm free and the three left quickly and swiftly.
-
by then half of my body was un thawed
-
They left to the middle of the woods. A couple more miles they would have reached the eastern entrance of the town Ranth. This town was dangerous. It was were most crimes were committed.
-
After feeling his neck being grabbed, the feline quickly whirled around with an arm up to chop him across the Elbow without stopping. If He didn't let go in time, the feline would have broken the arm by pure trained instinct. If he did, then arm would have been slapped away while the cat stepped back.
"Oh! Sorry sir.... but jeeze, your wierd," With that, the cat would quickly break off into a sprint to catch up with the rest.
-
They reach the entrance as Aros walks in with no worries. Thieves on the side snicker and grin as they pass. Some female theives trys to seduce Aros but he keeps walking no matter how seductive they were. (Time to bring in my female character) He keeps walking untill he met a cute fox in the middle of the road and unconscious. He examines her and looked at her ripped clothes on the floor. "She has been raped" he said that judging the claws of her hands.
-
(time to be some body else) a grey wolf that strangely resembled the drill sergeant stands on the other side of the street examining what the group he had been following would do to the fox he had payed to distract them so he could examine their emotions
-
He picks her up and looks at his group. "What shall we do?" He noted them the fox and awaited their answer
-
as the dragon picks up the fox i say to myself "so that one likes to help strangers looks more like he would tear your head off"
-
"We help her of course. Let's find a hospital, and fast who knows how long she's been here."
-
i walk over to the group then one of them asks how long she was there i say in reply "i do i payed her to lay there for about thirty min nothing really happened to her" i smile at the group no more like a smirk of you have been fooled
-
He sat the girl down somewhere else. "Why would you?" He said angrily. "You two check if she's really unconscious or not." Aros looked at the mysterious man and analyzed what sort of weapon he could use. Aros didn't like the fact that she could have gotten killed or worse kidnapped. "So if she was getting kidnapped you would leave her there?"
-
"oh no she is my friend i payed her to do this for me i would have stepped in like i did when i saw you going to pick her up" i smirk slightly
-
"She's fine Aros. Though I wonder how much longer this guy is gonna last." Kai tensed ready to unleash magical hell on this creep.
-
"i do believe i will live quite a while longer" i put my left hand on the hilt of my short sword ready for a fight
-
He pulls out his scythe, he un-locks it and pulls out the chain ready to strike.
-
There was a russel in the branches just above the pre-battle. There was a sudden large crack and a Husky falls out of the tree, landing in the vines, twigs, and leaves that lie below, exposing himself to the three standing on the path.
Quickly trying to stand up and move away, it's quite obvious he's there.
Realizing this he speaks.
"I-I'm sorry! I wasn't doing anything! I'll back off and let you three fight it out...!"
Being slightly frozen in shock due to startling the three as they have their weapons drawn was the only thing that kept him from running.
He stood there waiting for a response when he should be trying to run.
His black and blue vertically stripped cloak was slightly torn on the fall down. He wore a dark grey tight shirt under the cloak. He had black cargo pants that had been ripped on the fall as well, along with black fingerless gloves that appeared to be okay.
-
He looked at the husky fall and how the husky scurried behind the tree. He laughed abit but then he puts his weapon away. " hey it's alright" he smiled and looked at the fox behind him. He puts on a tshirt on her so that she atleast have some cover. Her picked her up as she begins to wake up. Her eyes open a bit to see his face before she falls asleep again. He wasn't paying attention at the time he picks her up and walks down the street to the left of the villain. "Guys lets go!..... You too dog!" He looked at the husky telling him to come as a part to the command he gave.
-
He peered around the tree slowly. Not wanting to upset the travelers, he listened. Scurrying out from the foliage and onto the path, he kept some distance behind the dragon and fox, unsure of what was going to happen, who was in the dragons arms, or where they were going. He kept quiet to try and not stur up any unwanted attention.
-
I walk slowly behind the husky that inturupted our skirmish I put my head next to his ear "hey you want some easy money?" I ask with a smirk ony face I pull out a combat knife and run the back side of it down his back "you've only one choice, so what's it gonna be slick live or die" I look to the large group ahead with a look of slight fear then it disapeers
-
I sudden get a large sense of fear. Being startled by the knife, I jump into a roll, rolling ahead of the group, facing backwards.
"He's gonna kill me...! Dear god, keep him away...!" I say with fear in my voice as it shakes.
I don't pull anything hostile, for I want to keep peace with everyone, but try to a get a large distance from the wolf.
-
I put the knife away before the group looks back and smile at what the husky says and shrug like it's no big deal "he's still a little jumpy from falling into our little disagreement don't listen to him wasn't trying to kill him" I say a very serious look on my face
-
I try to stay in front of the group, pointing back at the wolf saying...
"N-no, he is! H-He...dragged something...along my back...! He had a knife out...!"
Still with a shake in my voice.
-
"It was only my claw just playing" I say getting closer to the husky smiling I put my hood up and re adjust my leather armor I stretch a bit and smile with a devilish look on my face "who wants some food"
-
Jumping back a small amount, I get a scared look on my face.
"Uh uh! No! You stay back!..."
I try to hide behind the others, trying to stay out of the line of the wolfs sight.
"Someone please make sure he doesn't get near me...or...even touch me...! Ever...!"
-
"For being a dog you sure seem to be a pussy cat" I say laughing to myself I pull some jerky out of my pack and chew on it slowly humming to myself I smile as well at how the dog reacts to me even getting closer to him I take of my black cloak and toss it to a homeless man that I walk past it reveals my black leather armor and boots my short sword at my side paired with two daggers strapped onto the armor behind my shoulders so I can pull them quick ant throw them I also have a bow with very few arrows and a pack at my side
-
Still keeping the same distance...
"Say what you like...wolf...but know that if you pull anything, I wont hesitate to hurt you, or let him know...!"
Pointing to the dragon, hoping he will help me if I ever need it.
-
"Good so we are on the same page exsept I fight my own battles" I say knowing that just my presence was burning at the dog's courage I laugh a bit then swallow the jerky "so cat what is your weapon"
-
He waits at the side for the husky to come with them as he asks his 2 other friends. "Can you find an inn? Or motel?."
-
"You know your standing right in front of one" I say a smart ass look going across my face "I've got enough money for us all to take a rest" and pull about 20 silver out of of my satchel and toss it to aros "help yourself I'll be sleeping out here"
-
I slowly approach the dragon.
"W-who are you...and where are we going...?"
My voice still shaky as I try to utter out a sentence, still keeping and eye on the wolf.
-
"Just come here it's okay were friendly." He takes the coins and looks at everyone else. "Thanks...." He takes the fox into the inn and pays for a room with 4 beds. As the landlord showed us to the room he puts her down onto a bed covering her up as it gets dark. Time has passed and it's midnight. Aros is up in a chair watching everyone on his account. He takes out a photo of his family and looks at it in sorrow.
-
For the longest time, I pace the room, taking quick looks at the fox on the bed, then approaching the dragon.
"So...what's going to happen...a-and who is that...?" Pointing to the fox on the bed, still seeming asleep.
(Sorry, phone apparently can't color text... T_T)
-
He sighs and drops his picture on the floor for him to pick up. "My family died of murder and I'm going to find the person who did it. I don't know who she is, I just saw the results of her being violated" he put his hands over his face
-
I stop and stand in one spot with a saddened look growing. My ears fall.
"I-I'm...I'm sorry...I didn't know....I--"
I pause, unsure of what to say, or what actions would be appropriate.
-
"It's fine he layed next to the fox. Take watch for me. I need some rest" he proceeded to fall asleep.
-
His face perked up a bit.
"Sir...!" He responds, proceeding to sit in the chair and watch everyone.
-
Time sped up what felt like minutes were hours as the day rose Aros got up and looked at everyone. He sat in the bed looking at the fox. She woke up from her long slumber. He quickly put his hands on her shoulder restraining her to get up. "Easy there we won't hurt you." She woke up in shock as he did her eyes looked at everyone's faces especially Aros' face. Her mouth opened but was unable to speak. Aros continued to get her a glass of water before sitting down with her. He looked at her as she drank the water. He took the cup from her after she was finished. "W-where am I" she asked in a scared tone. He replied humbly " your safe here in this inn." She took a long pause before looking at the husky
-
Ears fallen, I give a weak smile and gentle wave before placing my paws between my legs, closing my paws in, then looking at the floor.
-
He got up and patted the huskies back "you can rest now" he looked outside to see if they could move on
-
He gives a weak nod then stumbles over to a bed, laying down in it, falling quickly asleep.
-
He stayed there untill the husky was ready
-
Some more time passed as he woke up.
"Huh? What? Wh--oh...sorry..." Realizing he was still safe, he stood up and looked at the dragon, giving him a nod, showing he was ready as he threw his hood up.
-
"Miss fox. I have to leave you can stay here if you want but I don't think we would meet again." He gave her a wave good bye out the door. With his husky friend next to him he smiled and headed north. Along the way he bought some supplies for them to live off of in the woods. " it's a long way to where I can get my vengeance" He growled abit at that as he took his husky friend up north to the thriving city of Asmodius
-
Sticking close to the dragon, he replied. "That's how I got my name...! I've been known to be light on my feet, quick, and to travel long distances.." He said as he held his chin high.
(Sorry, phone can't color text... T_T)
-
He laughed abit. "I guess so" they approached the gate. Aros bored to the side as the husky sees a flying flip flop zooming past them. From behind the fox called out "hey wait!" Her voice was soft and lovely as Aros turned around. "Sheesh! You won't even let me repay you!" She ran to them exhausted . She handed him a small sack of coins. Aros looked at at and gave it to the husky "thanks I guess". Suddenly the fox kisses him and they both blush. She says "that was for not raping me." Aros still stunned he says nothing. The fox then turned around and headed torwards her home as Aros looked at the husky with a surprised face on "what just happened?"
-
Examining the small sack of coins, he snaps back. "Huh? Oh, wait...wasn't that the fox we kept at the motel...?"
He looked at the dragon with a confused look as he adjusted his hood.
-
"Yeah she was" he turned around and laughed before walking again
-
Scout slipped the coin sack in one of his many pockets, then continued following the dragon.
...
He stayed silent for a long while, then said...
"So...uh...." He started, while kicking along a small rock.
-
As he said it aros looked at the sky. "Getting dark soon so better be quick" he kooked at you to see what you wanted
-
He looks at the dragon with slight sadness in his eyes, but a curious look.
"I uh...was...curious...what exactly did happen...you know...with your...family and such...?"
He got quickly quiet after asking, expecting a sorrowful response of sort.
-
He stayed quiet as he began walking. He was a bit ticed off but he goes to the camp site and put out a tent. He starts building it and builds a fire once done
-
He stayed quiet for the rest of the night knowing he probably shouldn't have asked what he did.
Scout sat down by the fire and stared into it, just thinking what could've happened.
-
(Sorry I was gone a while) Aros sat by the fire poking at it with a stick. He then sat back and stared at the sky.
-
(Apologies for being away so long) Scout looked up at the dragon who was staring at the sky.
"Uh...w-whatcha lookin at...?" Scout asked curious to wonder.
