Rare did a lot for Donkey Kong... It is really impressive when you think about it
-

Good old Donkey Kong... I love you and I miss you, you monstrous childhood-ruining ape T-T
I FORGIVE EVERYTHING!! JUST COME BACK ;__; SAVE US FROM THE HERESY THAT IS DONKEY KONG COUNTRY RETURNS!!
I had all the DKC games for the SNES when I was a kid, and I borrowed DK64 for quite a while and recently bought my own copy<3

All the yes! I love the old school DKs I wish they'd make more like DK64 Speaking of I can't wait to start up this LP so I can do a run through of it <3

And no one mentions Goldeneye 007?! Bloody savages :P
Of course, I only remember it because I played it a few days ago.
-
I prefer "Perfect Dark"
-
I think they made the Kinect Sports games for the Xbox.
I like those, believe it or not. :)
-
Yes they did... one of the few games that Microsoft let them make
-
I think they've made "Viva PiƱata" too x-x
-
Ah, Jet Force Gemini... one of the shooters I liked.

Oh wow I almost forgot about that game
-
Yeah, I miss it and I wished they'd remake it.
-
I think its hard NOT to find someone who has heard of rareware and its impressive track run back in the 90s. Shame they just make kinect games now, but at least they gave us some good memories ^_^
My personal favorite? Banjo-Kazooie and its sequels! The first two platformers were great and even though nuts and bolts had some issues I still loved it.

Do I know Rare?
I've played:
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Jet Force Gemini
A little of Perfect Dark Zero
A little of Donkey Kong 64
Donkey Kong Country
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
And a little extra credit:
Timesplitters: Future Perfect on the Xbox (Made by the guys behind Perfect Dark and Goldeneye)
Between Goldeneye and Perfect Dark I prefer:
Perfect Dark, no contest. It's better in LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE WAY. I will internetz fight anyone who says otherwise.
And one more thing, BK: N&B wasn't that great BUT... the vehicle building itself, the core of the game, is utterly amazing. It's worth buying the game for alone.

What? A thread about Rare and no mention of Killer Instinct?
Aside from the DKC games, Killer Instinct was one of their best franchises and one of my all time favorite fighting games ever.
I haven't been able to play the new Killer Instinct on Xbone, but it looks cool. I just wish it was on multiple consoles. That's what happens when Microsoft owns Rare though.

Xbone
*twitches*
May I suggest the Xone? Or maybe even the XB1? Any of those will do nicely.
