Title: Multilanguage!
Post by: William Dynwood on January 25, 2014, 03:41:43 PM: After having some real funny conversations on skype and via PM, I've asked some of my buddies to try to translate Dutch sentences; without using google translate. The results were really funny, and all of this made me wonder,Are there people here who can speak or have learned multiple languages on the forums?

If you do, which languages can you read/speak/write besides from English? I'm curious!

As for me:
I can speak English, Dutch and German.

I'm a Swede so Swedish is my native language, that said I feel sometimes like I know English better than I do Swedish.

I knew a lot of Latin a few years back, but I lost pretty much all but vocabulary from that. I have aspirations to learn a lot of languages though, I just... Forget that I have to actually study them to learn.

German, French, Japanese, Swahili, Swedish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Russian are all on my list. I wanna get into ancient languages too.

I can read and write in Latin (4 years of Latin baby!), though I could use a bit of a refresher on it >.<

Post by: Seko on April 04, 2014, 05:38:44 PM: English (East dialect Scots/English), I did French for like 10 years of school and remember nothing useful (j'ai mange le petit poisson' >:3), and am attempting to learn Swedish...very slowly...I can order icecream which is pretty vital, I'm also doing Japanese in school...but we often just watch anime instead of learning :3

Dus ik begrijp je wel Zehn! Et je comprends toi aussi Lab! B)

I also study English but I'm better at English than the teacher so that doesn't really count XD.
