Title: Herrow from a new(ish) furry

Hello out there to all the furries.
My name is john and I'm kinda new to all this. I've been interested in the fandom for quite a while and thought I might give it a try c: I have done furry art for quite a while(maybe a year now) and recently my friend Seth has told me more about this and it sounded pretty epic. I've been looking at things online and I'm really excited to start. Maybe even jumping right in to a fur con? Anyways,, i was wondering what all you guys think about this and how i should start in the fandom. :D

hmmm, well trying out a con isn't a bad start; its great way to meet people. I did it years ago with one of my few rl furry friends while visiting the states and it was a blast. Welcome to the forums by the way, hehe. *waves and wanders off*

Being a furry is great, I have found everyone here to be so nice and supportive. I would suggest that you watch some of Uncle Kage's videos on Youtube about being a furry and what to expect at some of the cons, in addition to being drunk most of the time he is also pretty funny and can tell you allot of stuff that will be very helpful.
