Hmm...So where to start?
OK. So, my name's Grey (not the colour! XP ), I'm 16 and have been a furry for a while now. In fact I've only just plucked up the courage to join the forum. I'd love to meet some other Furries and maybe become their friend (not knowing any other Furries makes you feel kinda lonely, ya know?). I live in the not so wonderful land of England and am hoping to go to America one day to see the conventions they have there. I don't really have any Furry merchandise so if you could point me to some good websites I'd be grateful! :) I'm kinda shy around new people and never really know what to say (Aspergers syndrome sucks! x_x ). I've also never done any role play as shocking that may seem, but would love to give it a go some time. Outside the fandom I enjoy playing video games, reading books, listening to music (usually metal 'cuz it's awesome! B) ), and on the rare occasion going outside! :P
So that's pretty much me in a nutshell.

Welcome to the forum!
I believe there are quite a few conventions in Europe, specifically in the UK, France, and the Netherlands. I'm not sure what they're called but from the pictures I've seen from over there, it looks just as good to visit one there as it is here in North America :P

Confuzzled? :? I really need to do some research. That sounds like a good idea. The only problem is I struggle around new people and I always worry about how I look to them. :S

I, too, live in England.
Like said, there are several meets and cons in the UK/Europe. I, myself, haven't been to one or bought any merchandise, however (well my mom inadvertently bought something copied from a anthro artist, though it's not furry art per se).
I was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome once. Not sure how true that is or not as I'm lead to think how I am is due to a mixture of other things including personality.
I'm a fox, myself.
