Post by: oddi on November 21, 2013, 05:19:23 PM
this is one of those movies that has no business being as awesome and stunning as it is, and yet here we are.

have you seen it? what did you think?

I thought it was awesome,  but a but rushed... It could have been longer and less cliché

I really liked the visuals and the imagination behind it though. The idea that became this movie is truly incredible.

it was rushed, i agree. but i could've watched it for hours, so i'm biased. uwu and i really didn't mind all the clichés all that much. is that weird?

I can excuse the cliches and the couple glaring plot holes because it was just so much damn fun to watch. I've never been so blown away by the visual effects in a movie in my life, and the acting and overall story weren't really that bad either.

I had just finished watching the Gurren Lagann anime series so when this movie came out I knew I had to see. I have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and it was just too cool watching giant robots duke it out with giant monsters!

I enjoyed the visuals. It was a good movie for the action alone. The story wasn't exactly compelling, but hey, you need something to string it all together.
That's just my two cents anyway.
