Anyone participating this year? What are your plans, or why are you sitting this one out?
A few of my friends are regular participants, so I decided to join to see what all the fuss is about. Normally I write year-round, but it'll feel great to see a 50,000 word draft after only a month's work.

Well... I'm dipping my toes (paws?) in the water this year. I kind of have ideas for what I want to write but it's not easy for me to sit and focus on writing for long periods of time so I'm not sure how I should go about this... I probably won't make it but it'll be fun to at least try :* I love to write short stories as my attention span isn't all that great but maybe I can spin a longer tail (haha get it tale = tail) Oh there I go with the puns again... oops. o.O

Day #1 is ending here! I met my goal for the day.

I think you'll do alright. Don't get caught up in editing... that's for later! ;)

I actually decided today that I'd give it a go again this year after doing it two years ago but not finishing. I actually think I'm gonna go furry on this one. I've been writing for like 4 hours straight, I forgot how much I missed this. I'm gonna post an excerpt on here shortly!

4 hours? That's going to get a big chunk of the work done... I'm a little behind.
