Wandering around the halls, Lupi once again found himself skipping class. He didn't want to back into a classroom filled cats (Big and wild or tame little house-breeds), that did nothing but look down at him and pick on him. This school was filled with felines, with canines being the minority... He knew a few other dogs in lower grades, but none of them were wolves... He got along well with most of them, but it was never like having a pack. The tamer canines just didn't get it. They all wanted to be owned, not equals. Which made them purrfect for a highschool where cats ruled the school, their blatant masochism hard not to notice.
Eventually wandering outside and sitting down behind the tech. buildings with a sound of discontentment, he pulled out an ipod and began listening to the sounds of deep growls that seemed to sing how he felt. Lonely. Isolated. Aggitated.
Hearing the sound of someone walking his way nearby, the wolf let out a growl so low and menacing it usually would've scared anyone away.
"/What do you want...?!/" He snarled distrustingly, without even bothering to look up at who he'd just growled at.

(OOC: I can try this, but I'm usually a dragon...so if I burn your face off, sorry in advance XD .)
"Uh..um... Hi, I'm Marshal, I'm new here and, uh, I'm just walking around and getting to know people, but there seems that there aren't any others wandering around. Did I miss something in the schedule, or...?" He trailed off. Talking to others wasn't his strong suit, especially when they were usually bigger than him. Many of the bigger anthros though that just because he was a wolf that was smaller than all the others that it meant he couldn't defend himself. They couldn't have been more wrong. Marshal was expelled because an incident such as this at his old school...
He stood there waiting for the other wolf to notice him...
-
((It's fine. I'm just bored and trying something new...))
Lupi snorted at him, lifting his paws to remove his headphones and look up at the other. What he saw made him pause for a second, before his face twisted into and smirk of sorts and pearly whites were made slightly visible. "Everyone else is in class, though I wouldn't recommend joining them unless you want to get clawed by cats when the teacher's not looking..." He replied.
-
"Oh, so class IS going on right now..."
Marshal wasn't too keen on the idea of skipping class, but...
"Are you sure it's best to skip. I mean, it can't be THAT bad... right?"
-
*Almar stumbled out behind the building with his left paw over his ear, and sat down to apply a bandage. Raccoons were not common in this part of the country, but here he was, stuck here because his father had just been accepted for a new job in town.*
-
The white wolf was just about to open his mouth and reply when he noticed the raccoon sitting, instead choosing to look at the procyonidae with a raised eyebrow as the other bandaged his ear.
"That answer your question...?" He asked Marshal.
-
*Almar finished applying the bandage to his torn ear and looked up to see the two wolves.*
"I hope not everyone is quite as 'welcoming' as the last person I met," he whispered to himself as he stood up and walked towards the wolves.
"Is it something I said, or are people around here a bit... aggressive?"
-
Lupi snorted.
"That's cats for ya..." He replied, shaking his head slightly. "Every damn one of those felines seem to think that they're at the top of the food chain here."
-
*Almar sits cross-legged across from the 2 wolves so they form a triangle.*
"I can already tell that this school year is going to be great... I'm Almar by the way."
*Almar extends his hand towards the wolf for a handshake.*
-
"Lupi..." Said the pierced wolf in reply, looking at the hand awkwardly.
Sure, he wasn't about to scratch the guy's face off... But he still wasn't the most social canine.
-
*Almar lowers his hand*
"Yeah, I was never much of one for formal greetings. But hey, it's good to know there's someone around that isn't gong to rip my ears... again."
-
"If you think that's bad, you should've seen what they did to one of the pugs last week..."
Lupi leaned back in a more relaxed position, his tail shifting slightly.
"I heard it actually made one of the teachers hurl." He said with a widened smirk.
-
"Has anyone tried to stand up for themselves?"
-
The white wolf shrugged.
"The cats outnumber any other species here, so I don't imagine they'd try unless they wanted to end up in hospital... That's not to say that no one has, but I haven't heard of anyone who was dense enough to think that they even had a chance at winning a fight like that."
-
*Trips behind building with my face clawed and my back with A HUGE cut in it*
"Argh.."
*Moans*
-
*Almar jumps up and runs over to the new-comer.*
"Are you alright?"
-
*A soft snarl comes from a shadowy corner near by, des slowly walks out and places a small visl of silvery metallic liquid down next to the wounded newcomer, his face hard and emotionless and his soft aura of dark energy making him seem bigger than he is* and to answer your question yes some can stand up for themselves, I happen to be one of them* he quickly pulls the flaps of his trench coat back around himself as the wind starts to pick up* but the only way for it to work is to give up on your emotion
